Absolutely horrible customer service. They are unable to answer simple yes or no questions. They got so frustrating to deal with just via email, that the transaction had to be stopped, before it even started. Absolutely 100% disappointed, from the beginning. I was interested in a specific vehicle, have cash for the transaction, but couldnt recieve a few simple answers. In almost 40 years of buying and selling vehicles, I have NEVER had so many issues dealing with a company, right off the bat. Most companies at least allow you to get to the paperwork, before they begin their bs. Not these guys. I suppose I should be glad I didnt get that far. I would have just wasted more of my time. This is definitely one instance where its simply too bad that the vehicle doesnt belong to a different lot. I would be driving it home tomorrow.

DONT BELIEVES EVERYTHING YOU READ!I bought a Ford F 350 Dually 2011 from them.I test drove the truck and the battery was dead. They just buy and sell vehicle no inspect or repair.The rear pinion seal is leaking, there is a evap leak and the emergency brake did not pass Maryland State Inspection but somehow passed VA Inspection.I WOULD 100% RECOMMEND GETTING A LISENCED MECHANIC TO INSPECT VEHICLE BEFORE BUYING. LOOKS ARE NOT EVERYTHINGAlso they still have not sent my title its been 30 days.

Recently purchased a truck(sight unseen) from them and had it shipped as I was out of state. JW stated multiple times the truck would pass CA smog, had no issues, and minor/ no rust. Truck arrives and it has major rust, engine light on(wont pass smog), and broken AC. All of our mechanics said they should have not sold us the vehicle in the condition it was. We would have returned if it if we hadnt paid for shipping. I would definitely get a vehicle inspected by an independent mechanic before purchasing from them. 4 stars for making some efforts to reimburse me for 2/3s of the cost of repairs.

I didnt even buy a car from them and yet they were the most down to earth people and very polite and professional. They answered all my questions since Im a first time car buyer and they helped steer me in the right direction even though I didnt purchase from them some day I will! Bought my truck here. I love it! The staff here are great and hassle free. Also the greatest thing was there are no hidden fees/ charges like other dealerships on the truck you want. Truck broke down after a 1 mile “test drive”. Couldn’t tell if it was the engine, the battery, the oil, or the No Gas, since every light came on the dashboard. Was generally disappointed in the dismissive attitude from the guy there. Didn’t get his name as he didn’t introduce himself.Just happy that the truck didn’t break down on the highway before we got back.

I wanted to sell my truck went in asked if he was interested he checked it out gave me a fair price. Went back two days later with my title and he wrote me a check right then. I wasnt there 5 minutes. Great place with some awesome trucks. Highly recommended

First class, these folks work on original values. They held a truck in good faith for me, came to buy it the next day. The weather was extremely cold the night before and cause the battery to die because it had the original battery, JW sent me down to Advance and had them replace the battery, and did all of this on Christmas Eve. Before buying my new truck, I had previously never heard of Davis Auto Sales. After shopping on Facebook marketplace, I found a seemingly good listing that I went to check out. It was an F250 that was rusted through the frame, burning oil, dash was wiped, and reeked of cig smoke. So I left and about a hundred yards later, saw the Davis lot and their impressive selection. Found a truck I liked that was in my budget and had a buddy of mine, who is a mechanic, look it over and he gave me a thumbs up. Bought it the next week. The customer service is outstanding, helpful, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone driving a corolla who’s looking to upgrade to something big (like I was). 5 stars.

Have to say these folks were great. They had the truck we needed at a fair price. Answered all my questions over email thoroughly and politely. Once we went to see the truck in person and take it for a test drive, we noticed a small leak from the top hose of the radiator. An hour we had a new radiator installed and were on our way. Great experience overall!

This place is awesome!!!! We drive 3 1/2 hours from NC to come pick up a truck! While we know with used vehicles things go wrong, our glow plugs were bad on our truck, JW immediately took care of half! Never once questioned us about anything! Made it super simple to purchase a truck! Definetly worth the drive!!!

I searched for about 6 months before finding a vehicle. The 2000 Ford Excursion 7.3L was a very hard vehicle to find in good shape. Davis had one I was very interested in to the point I told them I would be the vehicles next owner. My credit isnt the best so it took some time to get the details worked out. Throughout the whole process they stood by their word and I was first in line for the truck. They had some work done on the truck which faulted a few weeks after I had acquired the truck. Yet again, they stood by their word and saw the repairs thru. The Davis family is very professional and easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone. They are by far the best dealership I have ever dealt with. They have my business for life. Totally worth the drive from York, PA.

Would not recommend buying A used Vehicle from Daves auto sell. Please read all my information save yourself the trouble.On 4/20/19 I purchased a 2005 Chevy astrovan form Davia auto sales I have had nothing but issuesWhen I took the 2005 Chevy astro van on a Test drive I noticed a couple issues The Engine was running Rough and check engine light was on and ABS lights on . MIKE TROCH!!!!!!!!! told me it was really nothing Justs old age on the vehicle For some reason I believe him.I paid full price For the vehicle I have not even put 1500 miles on this vehicle yet . every time I drive it something goes wrongI look up the the Virginia laws unfortunately When you buy a vehicle AS IS!!! Theres not much you can do.You can go back-and-forth with the dealer but they are pretty shady already Why even botherI cannot even sell this vehicle for $500 the engine runs Roth and it wont passed inspection with ABS lights on so how did they put a state inspection on it good question Right.I just believe if you pay full price for a vehicle from a licensed dealer specially almost $6500 it should run somewhat good..I purchased the vehicle over sticker value $6500I have already did a full tune up on the motor and the front of the vehicle had a crack sway bar So I replaced it. The Brake lines were rusty and leaking so I replaced Them and the Power steering reservoir was rusted out and leaking so I replaced it too and When I went to get it inspected they said it has 4 different tires on the vehicle And only 2 Tires would pass inspection and The drive Shaft seal was leaking too So I replaced it. And I replaced Two engine mounts and one transmission mount Both engine mounts fell apart from rust. And Had to replace transmission filter because it was clogged transmission would not shift . And The upper and lower transmission lines were leaking as well. And theres so much more I have repaired on the vehicle.Please save yourself the time these people have no interest in giving you a fair deal.I have replaced so much on this van already there is no light At the end of the tunnel!!!!I recently had a Chevy dealer work on the vehicle for The check engine light and ABS lights on in they told me I have about $3000 of work that needs to be done to meet the engine run better.At this point the Van is not reliable is still runs as rough as it did when I bought it $6500Always look at reviews before buying a vehicle from a use dealer such as Daves auto sales.

There are many car and truck dealerships, but I dont look at Davis Auto Sales as a car and truck dealership. They are more like going to a friends house that has one of their own vehicles for sale and you want to buy it from them. From the minute you talk the JW, Gail, or Andrew, you realize this wont be like any used vehicle buying experience you have ever had. They are polite, honest, helpful, non-pushy, and fair. Glad I found them and they have a customer for life.

From servicing my car to my husbands built diesel truck and custom rock crawler the Davis family has always provided good service and made deadlines. They have also helped us buy and sell multiple vehicles over the past few years.

It was closed when i got there but was able to walk around very nice selection of high end trucks

Drive almost 3 hours, the truck I was interested in wasn’t really as nice as it seemed on their website. It was ok but it had leaks I noticed as soon as I crawled under it. The grill was broke and had a good amount of touch up paint all over the truck. There was also a decent amount of dog hair on the back seats. Truck was priced 3000 over nada which was not worth it at all to me considering truck wasn’t that clean. I made a sweep around the parking lot and noticed most vehicles there had a good amount of touch up paint and rust. I would say not to waste your time coming here unless you live close by due to the fact there asking premium prices for subpar vehicles or Your just some teenager looking for your super cool jacked up diesel to roll coal in. Something else is they don’t offer Carfax or vincheck on their vehicles which most reputable places will. All in all I’m not sure how this place has such a high rating other than maybe people buying these vehicles have no clue what to look for or no mechanical background

Watch these guys. They are deceptive! After a series of 7 text messages, they confirmed they had a Glasstream boat in the lot. After driving 3.5 hrs, they performed a bait and switch to a larger more expensive boat. I can’t believe people still try to do business this way!
