If you need a vehicle, Gates has the largest selection in Madison County at this time. While most dealer lots are bare, Gates has new and used inventory that can suite just about anyones needs.

I have contacted Gates Hyundai service department multiple times via phone, and via chat on their website, for service on my vehicle. I am now going on 3 weeks of waiting for someone to call me back. Each time I call someone gets my name, and number and states someone will reach out. Nothing after 3 weeks, 4 phone calls, and 4 or 5 chats. I just need someone to call to schedule an appointment for service on a vehicle under warrant, and no one will contact me. Very disappointing as the service received when I purchased the car was fantastic. It seems like the sale is the only part they are concerned with. I recommended over 5 people who also purchased cars based on my purchase experience, I wish I had not now as I feel bad that I put my name on a company with such poor customer service. I will likely not ever recommend Hyundai (at least Gates Hyundai) again, and further more will be sure to share this experience with anyone considering getting a new vehicle. Once again, I am just waiting on a call back to schedule an appointment, no work to comment on as I cannot get a call back.

Came here for the first time today. Had no idea why my car was bouncing around. They had me in and out in an hour and off to work. Awesome job yall cant say thank you enough.

First, the good. DANIELLE in service is amazing she made the experience tolerable. She was friends and offered excellentcustomerservice. However, TRAVIS in parts was unreliable. Said the would call when parts arrived, failed to do multiple times. When I reminded him he said he would called, he did not offer an apology. Would choose elsewhere for major repair.

Absolutely loved my buying experience at Gates Hyundai. Walked out the door with an amazing deal on a 2020 Limited Santa Fe, and Zach was extremely helpful. The whole buying experience was quick and painless. Zach checked in the following day and answered a few questions that I forgot to ask because I was so excited to drive off the lot! We purchased a vehicle here previously. With the vehicle we also elected to purchase a warranty since it was used. The vehicle was wrecked in May, 2021. Since then we have spoken with the dealership on multiple occasions in attempt to get the warranty refunded. They have said they will refund it multiple times but offer no excuse or say it is coming in the next few weeks. We began this process in May and now it is approaching August and we have yet to see the refund.

My experience was fantastic. I was treated as valuable. Work was done timely. And the person I interacted with was friendly.

Worth the trip! I live in Cincinnati and I was referred to Gates Hyundai to lease a 2021 Tuscon Ultimate. I have never felt like I was treated so fairly by a car dealership. It was a very pleasant experience. The sales associate Paul Cleaver was very easy to talk to and understood exactly what I wanted. Michael Merritt went over every feature of the car to make sure I understood how things worked. Frank in the finance office didnt rush me through the paperwork, but gave me time to understand what I was signing. Last but not least Scott Boggess, general manager, made it all happen.I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy or lease a Hyundai, you wont be disappointed.

I make the long story short. I bought Hyundai Santa Fe sport for my my wife a couple years ago. I love the car the way it runs and accelerate except tires are noisy on the free highway. I called the service department several times but no return call. I almost gave up to pursue the issue till I decided to make one more call but this time to the dealership owner. I left a massage. it did not take more than a few hours the same day Mr Gate personally called me and listened closely to my concern. it understood my frustration and apologized. He explained to me that once a while like everything else some product might have any defects among so many. He also said they are not aware of such defect on brand new vehicles which is understandable.At end Mr Gate and his operational manager Mr Metcalfe replaced all 4 tires with new tires at no cost to me.Even though my mixing experience with tires Mr gate, Mr Metcalfe, and many of his employees are very honest, respectable, and more than fair because they initiated to change all 4 tires instead one or 2 bad tire for me. My many thanks to them.Finally, I have learned that sometime is necessary that your voice should be heard by the main man because owner or manager due to their heavy workload are not aware of everything going on in daily organization.I highly recommend this dealership to the buyer and friends. I definitely buy more cars from them because I trust them to the full extend.

I had a great experience trading in my 2017 Jeep for a 2020 Hyundai Palisade. I traveled to this dealer over an hour after my local Hyundai gave me horrible deals back and forth for a few days straight. Friendly and courteous staff on site that rather quickly agreed to my On the road price. However, do not purchase anything used from them without having a mechanic look at it. I know better but did it anyway. The car wouldnt start the morning after purchase. The battery terminal for the positive pole was completely oxidized and had to be replaced. Never did it dawn on me or my mechanic that they would have also sold me a car with a bad battery. Shame on me, right? I had to contact the salesman for a new temp tag which was assured to be in the mail and NEVER arrived. After having to contact the salesman a 2nd time about the temp tag (which still has never arrived nor the license plate), I advised him of the issue with the battery. His response was to tell me if I had purchased the extended warranty, it would have been covered and that i could contact the licensing department about the tag. 😬

I purchased my 2018 Sonata Sport 2.0T from John May in April of this year. John was so easy to work with! He was totally no pressure, went out of his way to make sure I had a chance to explore all my options before buying, answered lots of questions and offered us an unbeatable deal. Once I purchased, he followed up several times to make sure there were no issues or questions. A little over 3 months in, I am positive I made the right decision on my car and my dealership!

I found a used car online at this dealership that I was interested in buying for my mother. I called and dealt with a salesman named Brandon. He was very helpful and we came and purchased the car. On the way home the check engine light came on and I called Brandon back and he talked to his supervisor Scott and they decided to send a loaner car and bring the vehicle back and repair it. They went above and beyond what any dealership that I’ve ever dealt with has done.. Never heard of Gates Hyundai until I made this purchase. Im in Houston! I looked around for months for the right car. Decided on a 2014 Hyundai Genesis but couldnt find it with the Saddle interior. Well, I found it on the internet and decided to make a purchase site unseen from you guessed it, Gates Hyundai of Richmond KY. Well Im stoked...experience was fine, no BS at all. Brian was extremely helpful, I wired the money and then had a car transport company pick it up and deliver it. Everything came through as promised. I was terrified that something could be awry, hey...I mean its a lot to spend when you havent seen the car in person or judged the people at the dealership.But happy to report they seemed perfectly straightforward. No nonsense..and Brian was responsive to my continual emails. Would do it a again in a heartbeat. Love it!

Got the pleasure to work with John May during the purchase of our new car. I usually hate the process of dealing with car dealerships(sorry guys) but he made the process so much better. He was easy to talk to, funny and it felt like he was really trying to help us get what *we* wanted. I’ve already told multiple people to go see him! Everyone has been so nice and helpful. Having my car serviced is so easy and if I need to leave it overnight, they offer me a rental. And the coffee offered in the service waiting area doesnt hurt either.
