We just bought a 2008 Jeep Compass (not from here) and read online that it has some recalls. We took it here to have the recalls fixed on it. We told service department what the Jeep was doing and what problems we were having with it. We said if the recalls covered any of this it would be great but if not DO NOT fix anything or do anything to it that costs money without notifying us first. When Mike called us back he said recalls were expired and it was going to cost us $391 for one wheel bearing on the rear wheel to be fixed. We were like what?! $391?! We said no thank you we will just come and pick it up. He said we had to pay $110 to pick up Jeep since they found out the problem and told us what it was. We said we already knew the problem and told you what it was doing and to fix it only if recall covered it! We went in to pick the Jeep up and Mike from service department was very rude to us when saying that we didnt ask him to do that and wasnt going to pay the money he was asking for so the manager took care of us after we asked to speak to someone in charge. After our experience at Richmond Jeep / Doge dealership we will NEVER go back!

Never take a jeep renegade here for service I bought my jeep new here and had service work done here every time I had to make a trip to the hardware store because only half the bolts were put back in my skid plate one time they only put one bolt back in and almost lost it on way home so not recommend then for any service worl
Had trouble with the Jeep. They were pretty booked in the shop.But got it in, at that point we got some bad News, we needed to get home. They worked it so we could get going. No charge !!!!
I lost a OEM lug lock key on my truck so I brought the truck in and the service manager brought the master kit right out to my truck and took them off at no charge and was in and out in 5 min. Awesome service! Thank you guys

Dwayne Miller was our salesman and we had a fantastic experience buying our SUV. The people at this dealership are super friendly, laid back, and seem to really want you to get the best deal you can. No confusing “shell games” Or waiting forever for negotiations. They gave us a better trade in price than we had been offered anywhere else for our old vehicle and negotiated with us on the price of the one we bought from them. We live in a different part of the state, but it was well worth the drive. If I had to buy another vehicle, I would go right back to Mann Chrysler.
I would not give this dealership your business under any circumstance. I purchased a car on January 30th and specifically asked the employee if I should pay for my old cars loan for February. They said no because they would complete the pay off for the old car. This made sense. This was wrong. This dealership made an error on my contract with my financing, and I pointed out to them at signing that the APR was incorrect. They provided an excuse and said that everything would be fine. This was wrong. 11 days later on February 11th, the dealership contacted me to let me know that something was wrong with my contract. This should have already been taken care of within two to three business days of purchasing the car, but as soon as the dealership had my money and had sealed the deal, I was no longer treated as a priority. I returned a new version of my signed contract and figured that as soon as soon the new contract was in their possession, they would then complete the pay off. This was wrong. A few days pass by and I receive a letter from the bank of my old car stating that my account was past due and within thirteen days the account was going to proceed to collections. I call the dealership in a panic, and was rudely laughed at by my concerns. Then, I got to speak with the financial manager who I had to negotiate with in order to be reimbursed for my February car payment for a car that was no longer even in my possession. They had the car. They should have (1) gotten the contract correct the first time, and (2) promptly corrected their errors. This business seems to not place people as a priority once they get their money. I majorly regret purchasing my car here and hope that buyers beware of this business. I did not even wish to give them a one star review and wish that providing zero stars was an option.
This review is solely based on the service side. Ive purchased several vehicles and no issues. However, the service department is consistently rude and untrustworthy. Ive had a issue with a new vehicle since the date of purchase. Ironically, every mention of it from me doesnt exist. I tried again to have them fix it and of course, couldnt find anything wrong give us $$$ because your warranty doesnt cover us not fixing it. Two days later and money burned the issue still exists.First time doing a negative public review but completely disgusted in dealing with this department and the lack of customer service.

I travel from Danville to Richmond to have my Ram 3500 serviced due to the honesty of this service department. They performed my last service for less than the estimate. They have helped me out where dealerships that are closer to me have not. My local dealership refuses to service my truck because I bought it in Louisville instead of from them. It feels good to be able to get service where you have confidence in the dealership.

I have reservations about this one. Weve bought no less than three new Jeeps here over the last several years. I am not sure we will ever go back. To say it bluntly it is because of the service department. Took a vehicle in there for something very simple. They said they couldnt fix it after having it more than an hour. No advice or alternative solution BUT they DID CHARGE for the work they said they couldnt do. Had to pay more than fifty dollars for something they didnt do. Bad business!Sales people are nice, but the service department leaves A LOT to be desired. This was not my first bad experience with them. This fifty dollar greedy event has likely cost them many thousands in future sales. There are several OTHER Jeep dealers within a reasonable distance.Oh, and by the way. Drove two miles out the road, stopped in a parking lot and completely fixed the problem in less than 5 minutes! Yes, the one they couldnt fix and charged us anyway. Hey, at least Jesse James used a gun!Very, very disappointing experience. I wonder, do the owners REALLY know how this service department operates? Are they complicit or simply oblivious?

Bought a jeep from a salesman name Phil. Absolutely the worse liar I have ever dealt with. Text after text, month after month, promise after promise. He told me he had the parts I asked for before I bought it. Then said, he had to buy them himself. I never got them and he stopped answering my calls. I will never do business with them again. I cannot stand to be lied too.

He got me and my husband approved with $0 down and sent me several different pictures of cars that we would like. We went down on a Saturday and test drove several cars and he was so good. I bought a used truck, great people!UPDATE!!! In the 4 weeks since I bought my truck Ive had to put $660 in ball joints in it and tomorrow it goes in the for $1700 in transmission work!!! They bent me over good!Its now 7/28/19, I have a recall on this truck, I called at 11:12am to set up an appointment and service was too busy to take my call. I was told they would return my call, its now FOUR hours later and NOTHING!!! How do they stay in business???

Was told a price on a vehicle. Salesman went inside and came back out and informed me that they dropped the price. And the online price wasnt the price! Then after test drive and sitting down to make a deal, the price went up. Look kike the customer knows the prices better than salesman. They lost my business.That is a bad sales approach. Greatest place to buy a truck ever. I have been buying vehicles fir a long time and i have bought my fair share of new vehicles. I have got to say this is the best expierence i have ever had at any dealership buying a vehicle.I always waited until sunday to go look at there new vehicles because i didnt want to get hounded with there salesman well guess what these people will not hound you. I was amazed i looked at vehicles for 45 minutes and i had to go inside and get a salesman to help me look at there trucks. The salesman i had was Eric Liebengood and hes the best salesman i have ever dealt with. I have lived in many different states and we have been to so many different dealerships to get repair work done etc. And this is the best place I have ever been. They have wonderful customer service, you can visit once and come back a year later and they still greet you with your name and you just stand there amazed. Haha. They do prompt and wonderful work without long waiting with the quality you hope for. I have moved away from there and I always compair the new dealerships I have to visit to this dealership and let me tell you, I miss this dealership very much! 10/10 for me.

HORRIBLE. STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN. If I could rate 0 I would! Stopped by one evening to look at a truck for my husband, stood on the lot for about 15 minutes before anyone came to us, told us to test drive the truck and it had 7 miles until empty, wouldn’t tell us the price of the truck, they had no clue the truck that was parked outside was even in inventory, at closing time they rushed us out the door so they could leave and told me they would call me at 8 am the next morning but I had to make several attempts to reach them. I was fixing to purchase a house this week when I was made aware that they “shotgunned” my credit and sent it to OVER 49 places. It dropped my credit from a 709 to 565. To say I am disgusted and pissed isn’t enough. I now have to pay a company hundreds of dollars to clean my credit report because of them. WORST DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE EVER.

4th of July family vacation nightmare...headed home to Michigan and the transmission dies on the highway. Managed to find the nearest dealership, Mann Chrysler. Could not have been more pleased with the professionalism and friendliness of Rick in Service department. He was incredibly helpful when it came to dealing with Mopar Customer Care. I had to leave the vehicle and return home, he kept in contact with me daily until the new transmission was installed (very quickly). I would fully recommend Mann service department. Great experience, great people.
They tried to scam me out of hundreds of dollars before theyd do warranty work on my car. I brought my car to another dealership and was told of course that part doesnt need replaced, why would you think so with that code. The other dealership replaced the part under warranty no questions asked. When I asked Mann how they came to this non-warranty part being the problem and how they knew it was broken(A part that was changed just months before I brought it to them), the service manager said hold on let me get a tech at which point he turns to go in back, turns back around and tells me to leave that he didnt need my business.(Believe what you want here, though stern, I was neither loud nor belligerent until after being told to leave.) I called them on their scam and they threw me out for it.I told Mann about problems with my transmission, they flashed the computer and would do nothing else. Turns out, just seven months before they had done warranty work on the transmission that they never told me about(before I bought the car). Why would you only flash the computer when you had previously done warranty work to it? To possibly stall me a few more months until I was out of warranty maybe? A lot more money to be made by doing out of warranty work... This shows how much they stand behind their work, that is for sure.It took the other dealership two weeks to fix the mess that Mann left my transmission in. Two weeks of the car being on the rack too, not sitting out in the lot. Gears were rubbing groves into the transmission housing among other problems with it. The mechanic had to essentially rebuild the transmission.Mann is nothing but a scam artist. Do yourself a favor and drive to Lexington. Mann tried to make me feel stupid when I knew exactly what was wrong with my car. The other dealership had no issues at all fixing what was actually wrong. Every bit of it proving Mann either doesnt care, wants to scam you out of money or is just not good at their job.

I wanted my keyless start to be repaired on my Dodge Challenger, they informed me the error message I was receiving meant I needed to purchase a new key and have it programmed. I needed a second key anyways, so I went ahead and did this. But after the service, they failed to fixed the problem. And they wasn’t for sure if the next thing they tried to charge me for would fix the problem. So overall unsatisfied.

Went to another dealer they knew right away what was wrong and got me back on the road. Cant say this enough go somewhere else you will be glad you did. not only is the car buying experience here terrible so is the service.
Stay away from the service department. They just don’t care. I had work done and other parts on the radiator was broke. So I got a quote and called back the next day to order the part and what day it can be fixed. They told me to bring it back next week on Tuesday. I take off of work AGAIN to get it fixed. I drop it off in the morning. They say your all set. They call 3 1/2 hours later saying they did not EVEN order the part. They just don’t care about anything or you!! They said to come back next week. I could not believe it. I WILL NEVER BE BACK!!

Called about a 02 Honda Accord. Mind you Im 4 hours away and paying cash and bought last truck 30 mins from their dealership. Car has issues i know its older. Asked them when they would be running it through service to see what all issues it had. Manager Mike told me they wont run it through service until i drive down there first. Really... I sold cars for six years and that is by far the worst and easiest way to lose a car deal. Seriously ive bought my last three vehicles out of state and this guy doesnt even try to help a customer. I tried three times to get all the details so i could come down and buy this car this weekend thats the sad part!

I really wish I could give this place a better rating but I have to be honest. I stopped in one day to take a test drive on a vehicle I was interested in. I asked alot of basic questions about jeeps because I wasnt familiar with them and the salesman didnt answer any of them. He rushed me around the parking lot and stated they didnt have what I was looking for. Actually they did, bc that vehicle was still listed 2 weeks after my visit and I even called to check. The salesman also said he would get back to me. He never did. I took my money elsewhere and glad I did
