The service here is generally great and Sterling in particular does a great job flexibly getting you in for service, even last second. However.I purchased a set of tires that were shipped directly to them and set the appointment to drop my car off and have them installed once arrived. They were running a little behind and barely made the end of the day, fine, that happens. Before leaving I did a typical cursory check of the car, you know, sometimes accidents happen. It was glaringly obvious from some distance that the tire machine, tech, some combination of both, scratched the paint off several of my rims in places, one quite badly, at some point during the process. It could have been a rush, or maybe they kept it as long as possible in an attempt to cover it up. I have black dipped/painted alloy rims that are not available for purchase anywhere and the damage was quite obvious. This is not ideal, but fine if they will take care of it.Pro tip: just like any rental property, take photos of your car before sending it in for service.This is where the trouble began. I pointed this out immediately before even getting into the car. He said he would speak with corporate and see what they say. I never heard from him. I called periodically for about 6 months or so and was told I havent heard anything, I will email you when I do each time. After a while I took it upon myself to reach out via direct email and contact through the website. Again, no response. So at the end of the day they damaged my rims to the point of the only way of fixing them being taking all four in to be repainted at my expense, and ignored all of my correspondence rather than replying even with some political message that they werent going to do anything about it or arent responsible. This experience took a couple of years worth of positive experiences and negated all of them by damaging my vehicle and then ignoring and pushing me off. Thus I cannot recommend this service station any longer. You will receive solid service up front, but it appears that if they cause damage they will not only do nothing about it, but will also refuse to reply to you.I hate leaving these types of reviews, but someones car is an expensive thing to damage when youve been entrusted with its care and then provide terrible (or lack thereof?) customer service on the back end. Now I am stuck with rim damage that I did not do, or pay an exorbitant amount to get it fixed myself and a lot of wasted time trying to get them to respond.

No one likes a flat tire! Precision helped me out quickly and professionally when my regular mechanic stopped selling tires. Sterling, the manager, even called my mechanic shop to give them some suggestions for places to order tires in the future. Above and beyond the call of duty!

I had gotten several prices on getting my headlights so that they did not look milky white! I have received the price from 85 to 140. I was able to catch a Groupon put $29 through Precision Tune Auto Care. I was looking to get an okay job but I got more than that they look fantastic!

Got 2 cars in on their awesome oil change deal. Had an issue with an accidental charge and the wiper blades that were included on the deal werent put on my car. They handled this with the utmost professionalism and they made everything right, no questions asked. They made sure I was satisfied even though I was in on a Groupon. Great folks working at the desk when you go in, too! Theyre worth checking out if you need your car looked at. They handled a simple mistake like it was nothing more and nothing less and because of my experience I will be taking my car here first if I ever need something else done.

I’ve been coming to the west broad st location for about two years now, I love sterling abs his crew. My appointment was at 4 pm but the took me at 9ish. They definitely deserve a raise they are also great under pressure and keeps it professional

Extremely sloppy work, less than honest pricingSloppy service - the left the oil cap open which meant that oil was all over our garage and driveway. Those marks are hard to leave. On top of that, oil was all over the engine and became a fire hazard when temperatures get high.While the car was in service, I received a call that break pads need replacement and was quoted $175 before taxes and fees. I declined. When I went to pick up the car, I noticed their advertised prices of $99.99. Upon inquiry, the gentleman said that he misquoted the price over the phone and would be able to do the service for the advertised price. I still cant understand how someone can misquote a price when I asked for it twice.I will stay away from this place. This oil change, which I had to do the very next day again, ended up costing me $125 + stains + fire hazard.

Terrible customer service. The manager (older man) was extremely rude to customers. He kept laughing at customers and kept saying they were not listening to him while he was the one who did not know what listening means. He made it very difficult for customers to schedule for appointments. When I mentioned to him that I called at least four times today to schedule appointment but no one picked up and even showed him my call history. He kept laughing and shooking his head. Seriously, is it shop really still in business with this managers attitude?

The person on duty that day appeared to not be so good at multi tasking. Thus it showed in his dealings. His interpersonal skills were at a low, as well as his listening skills. I had to repeat myself three different times to this person or else the wrong work would have been performed. The other guy who was assisting him seemed to be more in control. Wish he was my point of contact. Firestone does cost more but from my experience more organized and customer friendly.

Sterling was very helpful, but then I had to deal with Andrew totally different story..Rude to the max tried to ask questions about my car before I came to pick it only because I live over an hour away. When I gave Andrew my money in his hand he returned my money to me on the counter, also I was never directed to where my car was located. I wouldnt send my enemy to this place of business.

I had a groupon for an oil change and free wiper blades. I took it in on a Saturday and was told my car would be ready by the end of business. I got a call a couple hours later saying my car was good to go. I picked up my car and spoke with the Manager who told me what services would soon be due for my car and he also alerted me of a recall. The Manager was very friendly and I had no issues so I will definitely be back to get my car serviced again.

I scheduled an appointment with this location almost a full in advance. I made it very clear that I had a groupon deal for a synthetic oil change and I named the price. The gentleman over the phone was polite and informed me that I had purchased the wrong package and that it was fine, I would just pay the difference of twenty something dollars and tax. Great. I arrived to my 3pm appointment at 3:06pm and checked in with a gentleman. I asked very detailed questions about my service like are you topping off the fluids?, can I just get the pair of wipers to go? and both gentleman at the desk are responding to the questions. Once checked in, I leave my keys and walk around willow lawn. An hour later, I returned to the shop and its closed with only one man there, meeting at the door asking if Im picking up. I then told him that I was picking up and asked if my vehicle was ready. Immediately hes baffled and goes into a huge explanation as to how the person who checked me in must have snuck the order in as if I didnt have an appointment. There was no manager present to speak with and the gentleman that greeted me at the door, initially more sorry than apologetic and showing so by getting the service rescheduled at the least! The way I see it is how could either of the gentleman leave or allow anyone else to leave the shop with an open ticket period. And in the event that there was a miscommunication, when the guy who greeted me at the door seen the techs leaving, why didnt he ask if everything was done? He definitely responded to my questions. But because these two white men seen a black man in a t-shirt and sweatpants, was I denied service? Was my vehicle not serviced because I was six minutes late? Why was my time wasted and why did my vehicle not get serviced when I had a scheduled appointment? If I chose to use this company, I will then update my review but as for now, I require answers!

Everything from start to finish! I had a hard time coordinating getting my car in for an oil change. I was told that appointments were booked weeks out but I was assured they would try the best they could to squeeze me in depending on when I get to the shop. I finally arrived about 30-45min from closing. And because I had been in contact updating them on my travels thru traffic they still took my car. Now a little background: I sustained some major injuries a few weeks ago and that didn’t help my travel situation.... When I arrived not only was a greater with open arms n smiles but they although my oil change made them a little late closing... They waited for me to hobble back to the store to get the car and even took the time to physically pop the hood SHOW & EXPLAIN another unrelated problem they came across! The customer service here is impeccable! I am very impressed! And JAZZ IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! SHE DEFINITELY DESERVES A RAISE OR BONUS OR SOMETHING BECAUSE GOOD PEOPLE ARE HARD TO FIND!

The techs continued working on my F-150 for hours after closing to get the job done. It was a complex repair on an older vehicle, and they knew it was my only transportation. They made sure I drove home in my truck. Impressive service in an industry not exactly known for it. Precision Tune is going to be my go-to for service from now on. Highly recommend.

OMG! What a pleasant experience! I usually dread taking my vehicles in for service ESPECIALLY if I have a coupon. Krystal and crew have won me over! They were ready for me at my appointment time...in and out in 45 minutes! Didnt give me a list of whats wrong with my truck (its a 2007), just reccommended a couple of tires before winter. I wish I could give them 0 stars. I had a groupon for a wheel alignment so I thought Id give them a try. I bring my car in and after 10minutes they say they cannot do the wheel alignment. I inquire why and they tell me all these things are wrong with my vehicle and it would cost 2300 to get it driving properly. Keep in mind the original price would have been 40 bucks and somwhow all these things are suddenly wrong with my car. Little do they knkw my father is a mechanic so I give him a call and he walks me through how to troubleshoot and see if I actually need those repairs. Turns out there isnt a single thing wrong with my struts or shocks. I even do research online and have another mechanic check it out to be sure. All I needed was new tires and an alignment which I originally came for. I spent 450 for my tires and alignment and they tried to finesse me out of 2300. Stay FAR away from these guys. DISHONEST

This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had at an auto shop. The employees here (the receptionist and mechanics) were so nice, helpful, and informative. They took the time to listen and were communicative throughout the entire process, ensuring I was well informed.Jasmine, the receptionist was so kind and personable. While waiting I could hear her and the mechanic discussing the issue with my car and working together to find the part they needed to fix it. The mechanic even had to drive 50 minutes round trip to pick up the part.In addition to the amazing staff, the prices were very reasonable and I felt they were very honest and trustworthy. I don’t live in Richmond but I found myself wishing I did because of this experience.

Precision Tune took great care of me when my truck broke down on the highway. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem, fix it, and get the truck running. My truck is old and has a ton of problems they could have tried to up sell. They did exactly as asked and didn’t try to rip me off. Good people!

People at the counter dont seem like they know what theyre doing. No one communicates, I requested specific parts for my car the last time I was there, they put the cheap stuff on. So this time I got all of my own stuff from the dealership, which cost me extra money. They also told me I Needed 400$ worth of front end work that was just done less then 2 months before at the different location. They were not able to properly help me. Ive been in automotive as a technician and as a sales representative for over 7 years. Your counter people have to have some knowledge of cars to be able to properly write a ticket to the customer and companies standards. Going to an automotive shop should be easy for the customer. It took me almost 25 minutes to get the staff to understand what I needed. I have a free oil change coupon from the other location, this location would accept it but my oil wasnt standard so they charged me an extra 45 $. An oil change on my vehicle should cost no more then 50$ I still had to pay almost full price due to it being max life instead of conventional. I wish this location would work more with the customers to have a better experience..

My appointement for a wheel allignment was cancelled blindly by the company without my knowledge. I took it upon myself to call in and reschedule my suddenly CANCELED appointment that was made well in advance. I was told by an employee that saturdays are for walk ins only and I can drop off my vehicle early in the day for an alignment. I show up within an hour of them opening just to be told that they are fully booked for the day. When questioning why I was mislead over the phone, the employee proceeded to act confused/as if i made up the entire situation. Unreliable, uninformative, lack of communication and poor customer service are only a few reasons why this company will never get my business.

Prices were extremely reasonable and the wait time for services was as expected. I was also pleasantly surprised that the staff went out of their way educate me on some other potential issues and even made some quick fixes that were not included in the service I was paying for, free of charge. They answered all of my questions and at no point tried to up-sell me on goods or services. Excellent team. I will definitely be returning for my future auto needs.

Dont trust this place.I took my car to get inspected here and they found multiple things that failed the inspection. They were going to charge around $1700 to fix everything, so I decided Id take my car somewhere else to see if they also found the same issues. The other shop only had one issue: the headlights werent the same color.If I had just taken this shops word for it Id be out $1700...The workers at the desk were really nice and and it was no fault of theirs. Its just sad that they are working somewhere that is trying to rip people off.

I am extra happy with Precision for several reasons. I got a new windshield from them at a great price. They even came back and moved the location of my rearview mirror for my comfort and convenience at no further cost. Then I got a chip in the new windshield. When I called they reminded me chip repair was included, and she fixed it excellently, and again at no additional cost!! THEN my son was in the area and had an emergency flat tire. I direct him to their location. They helped him out, and even stayed late when they did not have to. All in all, excellent folks!!

Ive been taking my vehicles to Precision for a few years at this point. The staff is notably kind and accommodating compared to other places. I find that they maintain their empathy, in that when a problem costs way more to fix than the customer expected, the staff is not pushy nor do they coldly say well it has to be done. They understand that the situation sucks for me and approach it accordingly. Thats a big deal to me, the empathy.Once a mechanic failed to include their labor when they quoted me the final bill. I found that Precision ate the cost themselves rather than adjusting the quote after the fact. It was a couple hundred dollars.Also, each experience suggest they are a skillfull crew. Theyve been able to fix every auto problem Ive had in a short amount of time.Ill sat a Precision customer.

Genuine and honest customer service! Purchased a coupon for a tire job,, set up an appt. Arrived asked me pertinent questions about why I was requesting the service to verify that it was appropriate. Finished the job quickly and I was on my way. I got a pair of decent wiper blades for free and they replaced my tire caps. I will return for my next service maintenance.

I am trying very hard to write an unbiased review. My girlfriend and I can only speak for ourselves and I am only writing this because I was not contacted after calling corporate to find a solution. We are human and I know sometimes errors happen, but my girlfriend was almost completely scammed by this place. For one thing, the mechanic said that she needed a new battery after running a test. They gave us a receipt with a false meter reading on it that said 9:15 A.M and my girlfriend didnt get there until 10:30 so I knew automatically something wasnt right. I know it wasnt a mistake because it said on the receipt that this 2013 practically new car needed a battery. My girlfriend was hesitant and called me and I told her to leave and we will take it somewhere else. Upon leaving the front desk reminded her the dangers of driving with that dud of a battery and that they could have it done for over 100 dollars within the next half hour. She thankfully left anyway because one stop later at batteries plus we found out the battery was in great condition.My girlfriend is young and not from this country so I feel more than offended because she just wanted to be helped with an oil change, which I had to do over again because I didnt trust their work. Im not here to persuade, just to tell my story. Use much caution if you plan on going to this place.Tom W.

I stopped by the business to make an appointment for a AC recharge, oil change and 4 wheel alignment. The Manager did the AC recharge that same morning even though they were very busy..so my experience so far has been positive..

They take care of my wifes car and mine. Recently got oil changes and alignments done. Couldnt be more satisfied with the customer service. They are completely up front with timing which is much appreciated.

I couldnt speak more highly of an establishment. They are always friendly and extremely helpful. As a young female I was concerned with shops in the area trying to con me into getting things I didnt actually need, but they talked me through it every step of the way. If you are looking for a trustworthy and dependable shop then look no further.

Weve had nothing but good, honest, and kind interactions and dealings with Precision. We really appreciate the care and professionalism all the staff demonstrates. They even came to my rescue when I locked my keys in my car! And on another occasion, one of the mechanics went way above and beyond the call of duty, working extra hard and late to make sure we got our car back as soon as possible (were a single car family). We cant recommend them enough!

Desperately needed my car inspected, I was about a week overdue and I was heading out of town. Precision just had me drop off the car and they called me when it was done. They had three cars ahead of me in line and apologized profusely. Everybody was friendly and efficient and I’ll be returning to them for sure.

About ten years ago I was getting ready to go on a trip in my car but it unexpectedly failed inspection for an air bag light that had never come on before. I called about ten places explaining I needed to leave for a 30-day trip with a 15-day rejection sticker and nobody could help me until I tried Precision Tune. They squeezed me in, fixed my airbag problem (wasnt easy, or cheap), slapped on a new sticker and I was on my way. Ive been going back to them ever since for jobs beyond my automotive skills or resources. I find them to always do what they say, sometimes more, and you know how sometimes you get your car fixed somewhere then shortly later something else break? Well, that has never happened here.

Worst ever! Not professional and worst customer service! We received email with the confirmation appointment, we took a day off and waited the whole day, however nobody came! We called to ask them. They said they would not be bale to come because of weather! We asked why not contact us and tell us, they said they cannot find our phone number! So, we asked when they would be coming! They said they would call “tomorrow morning “ and let us know! We waited until the noon and we had to call again because nobody contacted us! Someone answered my phone and said they would call us back shortly. We called again after 3 hours. The man who answered my phone several times rudely told me again I have to wait for another tomorrow morning to get their phone call and we could know when they would be coming for this appointment! We really could not understand this kind of customer service! This is the worst service ever received! This is really rude gentleman we ever talked! So sorry to see this happened here! so, the result is, we waited for three days passed appointment day, they didn’t say any apologies but saying thousands times tomorrow morning!

Jimmy and his team are fantastic! We had water in our car and thought it was a windshield issue. They went the extra mile and trouble shot the problem and found it was a clogged air conditioner tube. Great people and extremely helpful! Highly recommend!

Great people! Its Saturday, Its snowing like crazy today and my 4x4 cable came loose. A couple of months ago, I used their service to replace my cars windshield. Thanks to Jas, a very nice, honest, and helpful lady, for saving me some money by suggesting that I buy a Groupon. Thanks to Richie, a very energetic and positive young man, who did a very clean and awesome job replacing my windshield.I recently arranged an appointment to repair a chip in my windshield. As promised, theyll repair the chip for no charge; I bought the windshield from their shop with a lifetime warranty months before. Im happy to have found a great place to take care of my car.

These people never have to worry about me again!!! I called this morning inquiring about a state inspection to see if they do them or not and the guy that answered had a smart mouth, rude, nasty, and I felt like I was being rushed off the phone. ( Danny was his name.) This was my first time hearing about this place so of course Imma have questions and second I want my car inspected so I can avoid tickets. I worked in customer service for 10 plus years and people dont realize the way you treat people determine whether a person comes to do business with you or not. I took my business somewhere else this morning and having my car inspected by a very friendly business who took me in right away for an inspection. I say this all the time if you dont like your job or what you do. Stay at home! Leave your attitude at home! People out here work to hard to have to deal with the attitudes because Im quick to take me and my money somewhere else to a business where Im appreciated. They definitely lost a potential on going customer.

After pricing a few places for a replacement windshield and getting quotes in the $400 range, I received an email from Groupon for $14 for a $100 toward a wind shield at Precision! I purchased the Groupon and I got an appointment with Precision right away. All together the replacement windshield was $235! The service was fast and everyone they’re is very friendly and helpful.

You all have one of the best deliveries of customer service that I have ever received! The staff is always extraordinary and you all are very reliable (both time-wise and service). When I leave this area I hope to find an auto shop as great as this one.

Dropped off my car for state inspection and I was the 6th car inline and they managed to squeeze me in right before the end of the day! Really nice staff as well.

Scheduled an appointment more than a week ago for today at noon. Drove across town and got there on time. Was told, I dont know when we can get to you. Desk person (when asked if he could narrow that down) told me maybe in two hours, and we close a four. Told me that I could also reschedule. I bought this alignment through Groupon, but it has proven not to be a good deal. If as that person said, there is only one machine, then either appointments should be scheduled farther apart or customers should be called in advance to advise that it will be necessary to reschedule. What a POORLY run business. I will lose my money if I dont return. Cant afford that but ...
