This place is literally amazing. I cant believe how happy I am with my cut & dye. Miny is so knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Any anxiety I had evaporated instantly. They explained everything about the process, and inquired about my comfort numerous times. They even gave me coffee, cheesecake and wine. I felt like I was dreaming. If you want to spoil yourself you should really book an appointment. I feel bad for not catching the name of the other girl working, but she was just as kind and attentive. They really arent all about charging you overly high rates, and will explain how you can care for your new hair style. Thank you so much for such a great experience.

I don’t even know where to start! I felt anxious about getting my hair done and what I thought may be impossible slowly became a possible. I have very long dark hair and I had colored it myself during Covid and it was in bad shape. From the moment I sent a text with a picture of my hair Miny kindly asked me to come in for a consult and she calmly and in detail explained what she could and couldn’t do. She made me feel like I was in great hands and didn’t fail to amaze me with her professionalism and a talent. She is just Amazing! The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff was professional. I definitely plan to be a repeat customer!

Based on the reviews, I made an appointment with Miny. Called the week of to confirm that it was with Miny & also when I walked in to the salon confirmed again that Miny would be doing my hair. There were no other customers besides me and Miny and another worker. The other worker began to wash and blow dry my hair and I assumed Miny would finish it by styling and trimming. In the middle of my blow dry, another customer came in and Miny immediately took her to wash and do her hair as I could hear this customer thank her for getting her in. Needless to say, Miny never touched my hair, she let the other worker do it while she focused on the customer that came in after me. I felt so uncomfortable the whole time and it was clear that she does not value new customers or being honest. Once my hair was done, I told her I didn’t appreciate the experience I had and she didn’t even offer an apology. My hair turned out alright but I will not be returning here and if you make an appointment I say be sure that person is the one who will be actually servicing you.

I dont know where to begin with my experience at Abbyssinia Salon. I never wrote a review before seeing results. But being welcomed with open arms means everything to me and before hand I know my results with my hair will be good. I came in on time for my appointment and soon I stepped inside I instantly felt the good vibe from her . The salon wasnt busy at all with only one client that was already there. I came in with my hair a mess and with a bad hair cut. I just had a baby and I barely have time to manage my head full of curly hair. My hair was ruined by one of those hair salons you would think they know what they are doing but not at all ! Ever since I barely gave myself time to take care of my hair or even attempt to do something about the damage. But none the less after searching salons online I found Abbyssinias salon ; the amazing reviews pulled me in and Im glad I found this place which will be my go to salon from now on . I loved her warmth and kindness. She cares about people. She was mad someone ruined my beautiful hair like this. She did my hair so good and fixed a damage I carried for so long. I absolutely love the way Abyssinia does my hair! I am a black woman from CA and have always had issues with finding a stylist in WA that can get my hair smooth and silky without being too oily or greasy looking. Abyssinia knows what she is doing for sure! I am always so happy with how my hair looks and feels when I leave. She is knowledgeable about hair care and I trust her to take care of my hair as well which is so important. Her staff are also friendly, professional and you are guaranteed to be provided wonderful customer service! They can do all types of hair and styles. Thank goodness I was referred to this salon! I absolutely loved my experience with Abyssinia hair salon. The best customer service I’ve ever had at hair salon. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. They even offered me water or coffee while I was getting my hair braided. Bibi did my hair and I’ve never had anyone do my hair better than her. She’s really good at what she does. Her attention to details was amazing. She takes pride in her work. She took her time and did it perfectly. I’m very happy that I went to this place.

My partner and I walked in on the off chance we could get our hair done. Sure enough Miny welcomed us and made us feel right at home. I explained to her what exactly I wanted in my cut and she literally shocked me when she was done on how darn accurate she styled my hair. I called 3 places near this hair stylist, 2 of them didnt answer or call back, 1 had a voice message saying you need to set up an appointment online. I called this place and they had a spot available for me at the time I needed. Not a lot of places can style my hair the way I want it, for some reason a lot of hair stylists feel intimated cutting my hair too. I went in, asked them if they could cut my hair as I had it in a photo from a while back, and they did it just as I wanted, so thank you. 5 stars easily, I know where I will go from now on locally, hassle free, good prices, and fast.

My hair before was dark brown with a green tint to it and now theres no more green and I couldnt be happier!! Nini was great ! Loved her attitude ! Always making sure I’m ok with what she is doing . I walked in one day and made an appointment for today just to cut off two inches and a little bit of layering in the front .I dint even get my hair washed because there was no need and I was charge a total of 40 dollars !!! If I would have knowed that this simple haircut would cost me this much I would have skipped this place ! With that much money I could have gotten a hair still haircut ! Not coming back and I would not recommend ! Atleast not to ppl that work hard for their money and can’t affors such simple request to be so much ! Good customer service tho ! But they need to post their prices on the wall cuz wen I called after I payed the 40 and asked how much a haircut was they told me $60 ! So I guess I got a discount ?! Lol this salon prices is a joke !!! And they don’t post any prices ! By the way this only took like 7 minutes to do !
