I got a retwist and styling done here for my first professional retwist, and I felt amazing when I left. I was given a ton of compliments, the service was great, and it wasnt too expensive. Their leave-in conditioner works like a charm and kept my scalp and hair moisturized without a ton of build-up.

Really great experience! The staff was very knowledgeable about the style that I wanted to get done and were all very welcoming and inviting while I got my hair done! Their COVID-19 protocol made me feel very safe as well.

I have shoulder length 3c-ish hair and went in for a trim to remove dead ends. My stylist, Ciera, did an amazing job and even gave me useful haircare tips as she worked. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. 11/10 do recommend.

This shop is amazing! The owner Rueben, is very knowledgeable and helpful when inquiring about the various services offered. He gave me a trim and installed my starter locs and they looked better than I imagined. I will not be looking any further when in need of any hair service. I came in for a wash, deep condition, blow out and trim 2 weeks ago and Im glad I did. Everyone there was nice and my hair felt amazing afterwards. Ciera did my hair and I trust her with my hair and will be returning. Only downfall was how far I had to drive but it was worth it. Will be returning as soon as I can get in.

Went in today and got a cut and wash & go styled by Ika (sorry if that’s spelled wrong!) I have very thick hair and it was pretty long.. and a hot mess! But she is super talented and handled it quickly and carefully. She kept me informed of what she was doing the whole time. I love the shape of my cut and highly recommend her if you go in! I have been going to Mr. Naturalz salon for about 2 years now. I have naturally dark, curly hair and he has done wonders for my hair. From fixing a bad bleach job, to giving me a silvery blonde tone, warm blonde and now an ashy blonde color. I know little about color, but every time I’ve come to Rueben he has exceeded my expectations. I would certainly recommend coming to this salon!

I love Rue!! I moved here 2 years ago from Florida and found it challenging to find someone that styled my locs the way that my previous stylist of 10 years did. I came across him on IG and have been coming to him ever sense. I previously lived in Lacey and although it was a drive the hair care/customer service was worth the drive each visit! Additionally once a few stylists friends learned I moved here they mentioned he was a great stylist so I knew I had made the best decision!

Mixed review. The positive: Reuben was a nice guy, the shop had a neat vibe, service was pretty quick, and my retwist looked decent.The negative: I was charged $102 for loc maintenance (wash, condition, retwist, dry), which I found out when I went to pay. (Site does say $85+ but I have baby locs that dont take much time. I was told it was a head stylist charge.)The amount of product used for my retwist was unreal. Thick twist creme, castor oil, setting foam, and edge pomade. Im used to oil only retwists, so I was overwhelmed by how much went in my hair. Will probably have to wash and retwist again to get rid of all the product. Bummer.

When you walk into the salon, you are captivated by the art on the walls. Mr. Rue is warm and very inviting and he has started me on my natural hair jouney.. I have only been here two times... but I see this salon as being my forever salon...
