My vehicle had a repair done for some rodent damage on wires. Had to leave over night because the technician wanted to make sure he did an outstanding repair.Picked up vehicle following morning. Toyota employee, tried to sell me on other “recommendations “ that were NOT needed for this repair.When I left there, had another mechanic, not from the Toyota service center, look at the work. The repair was done poorly. Plastic covering on wires that were just taped together was not reapplied. Very sloppy job!This is the second time that I feel I was taken advantage of by this service center.I do NOT recommend going here

I was able to take the car out for as long as I needed. I then test drive two other cars before deciding. Austin was patient and very helpful. The buying process was easy. Minor issue at the front end due to system issue with extended service package, but Matthew and the other rep took care of it right away. The wait was longer than I initially expected, but given the time of day it was good. The overall experience was great. Just moved to the area and the representatives were very friendly.
2019 Tacoma off road with 28k miles shakes violently on the freeway. Went through a set of tires at 20k. New set has 8k and are wearing quickly. Was told the tires were out of balance. Balanced tires and was told it drives “as designed”. Shaking is still occurring on freeways Had to call an assistant manager to get the truck back in because the service advisor disappeared even though he told me they’d reimburse the cost of balance if that didn’t fix the issue.Truck is back in the shop. After 24 hours they said they couldn’t replicate the problem. Must have spoken to 10 people about this over 8 months. No help at all and I’m out a brand new truck until it gets fixed.***Update 9/16/2021***Dolan requested I drove their mechanic to show them the problem. After 5 minutes of driving the mechanic said “wow! You need a kidney belt to ride in thing!” Hours later, they tell me it’s a “Light Characteristic of the vehicle and there’s nothing we will do for you.
Had Jeremy as my dealer who was laid back but still knowledgeable and got me the truck I was mostly looking for. Times have changed with buying vehicles these days and Jeremy did a good job explaining how things had changed since I last bought a truck. Love my new Tacoma.
We went in to get a new key FOB and get it programmed, pretty straight forward request. The service department brought to our attention a safety recall that needed to be done and offered to take care of it on the same trip. What we thought would take all days turned out to be just a few hours. Emily from the service department kept us updated and brought in a service manager to answer questions she was not able to answer. Very professional service and a well equipped customer waiting area.
Eduardo was a big help. He not only helped us find the right car, but he also showed different variety’s of vehicles. His service was fast and efficient. We will definitely come back to Eduardo for our next new car

Dealership service department did not meet my expectations as far as doing their do diligence in checking out my truck. I recently went in to check out why my 4x4 is not working. And this has been an ongoing issue but last time I was in when my truck was under warranty they told me nothing was wrong and just cleared the faults. I have now returned for the same issue and NOW they are telling me it needs to be repaired. Note.. warranty is now expired on my truck.. what a coincidence!!
I drove 4.5 hours to get here from California, after going back and forth with two sales people about finances and options and specifying what I needed monthly payments to be, and along what I needed to put down to get there. Im trading in a lease for a new lease, something I do every 2-3 years. I was told I would need x-amount to keep my payments the same. I arrive today, and that number has gone up $3,000.00 in order to keep my payments the same. I was also told I would recieve docusign information to fill out online, to better see the numbers........ which I never received. This is Not good customer service. I do not recommend this dealership. This is exactly what I was doing everything possible I could do to avoid. Unfortunately this is the last available of the car that I want to get, so I dont have much option. Its not so much that Im mad about having to pay more. Im really just mad that they did not give me a heads up that it would/could happen, so that I could properly prepare. Bad experience all around. I do not plan to return here. They are not truthful.UPDATE 11-3-21: Steve from finance called me last Saturday to tell me they were giving me back my $500 deposit, did to everything being so jumbled. I called my bank today, nothing. I called Steve. I am seeing Red. Apparently it was something about the Numbers, not the Service, that I was getting the $500 back.... and he found out later that same day, Saturday, that it was a mistake, and I would Not be refunded. He Never Called to update me of this information. So, now Im $500 more in debt, because I was Told that refund would be completed instantly. Thats the word that was used by him on Saturday. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THIS DEALERSHIP TELLS YOU. THEY HAVE NOT FOLLOWED THROUGH WITH ANYTHING THEY TOLD ME. THIS IS SUCH BAD BUSINESS!
Great work except the workers could not find the wheel log nuts which were in a see through plastic bag in the back of the van. On the positive side, the work was done quickly and properly.
Came in for a new car after getting rear ended,dreading higher prices and fearing gouging as shown by some other dealers. Doug was efficient and helpful with us. Able to answer our questions and he got the measuring tape to see if the sheet of plywood would fit. Walked us boomers through the technology with our cell phones and was very patient with our questions. Love our new highlander!

I was interested in Trading in my 2019 Toyota Tundra for a 2021 Toyota Tacoma, but was worried I would have to negotiate and hassle for a fair trade in price and purchase price. This was not the case, Product Specialist Tyler Larsen at Dolan Toyota in Reno, NV was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in finding a Tacoma that fit my needs. The Tacoma I ordered would be ready in a month due to supply demands. This last Friday (9/24/2021 @2pm), I brought my 2014 Tundra to Dolan Toytota for engine oil/filter change, front/rear differential oil change, and transfer case oil change and air filter change. ($592 total). I thought this was a good idea since I now have 94,000 miles on this truck. Got it home okay but quickly noticed was leaking oil like crazy! I then climbed down and looked under the engine and lots of engine oil everywhere. I then noticed that they didnt bother to attach the skid plate back to the undercarriage as it now missing 3 of the 5 screws that attach it. Removal of this plate is necssary to replace the engine oil filter but they just didnt bother to put the parts back. I would think that the technician noticed some extra parts lying on his toolbox after working on my truck....who knows? I am sure he has excuses what ever the case. This is the second time Ive had an issue with Dolan Service Dept as the last time they didnt bother to tighten the drain plug and leaked all over my new driveway. NEVER EVER again will Dolan Toyota do work on any of my vehicles. Thanks, Dolan...BTW, this is probably the only non-fake review posted here. More importantly, you have to wonder why you don’t see any “Owner” response like you see with the fake postings.weird huh?
I have been a customer of Toyota since 2004 and I must say that JOHN MOHUNDRO, was in my opinion, the most efficient and professional representative I have ever had help meat Toyota. John was friendly and took time to explain things to me about any concerns I had regarding my vehicle.He also made sure that everything was done according to my expectations which they were. The service I asked for included, among other items, checking and offering to replace the windshield wipers if needed but that didnt happen because they are falling apart. I was also told they would wash my truck which also didnt happen. I dont care about washing the truck but I feel like if they say theyll do it, then it should happen. Im going to have to now do the wipers myself otherwise, as usual, the staff were friendly and the process timely which I appreciate..

Ive had good experiences with getting my car serviced at Dolan. The waiting room is well kept and the staff act professionally and talk me through the service options.I usually like to do most of my basic maintenance like brakes, filters, geasing and oil, but plan on keeping up with the 15k major services here even after its paid off.
Great experience working with Taylor Rusch. It all started with me thinking I had left my phone in the car. Not true, but everything, including that issue handled with professionalism. Glad I know who to go back to!

This dealership is amazing. We bought a car from them and a strange noise was coming from the front end. A washer was misplaced on the struts, causing the noise. The best customer service you could ever ask for. We previously had a bad experience at Carson Toyota and was hesitant to try Dolan at first. So glad we did, I would recommend them to anyone. Jesse was awesome and kept us informed every step of the way.
Had my car serviced at the dealership and customer service and their willingness to go above and beyond to help out really impressed me--this was exemplified at all levels, from the cashier to the service agent. I had planned this as a one time thing since I recently bought a used Toyota elsewhere and wanted it checked thoroughly at the dealership, but I wouldnt hesitate to go back.

When those didnt work out, he showed me another than seemed closer to what i wanted. They gave me a great tradein on my car even though it was over 150,000 miles. I dropped my car off for my scheduled appointment to get an oil change. After waiting two hours I went to inquire how much longer they would be and was informed it would take at least another hour. Obviously frustrated I asked for my car back and drove to Safe Lube. Seven minutes after arriving at Safe Lube I drove away having gotten my oil change, my windows washed, my tire pressure checked, and my radiator and wiper fluid levels checked. In short, the Reno Toyota service department is worthless.
The employees were efficient and welcoming! I felt like I was in good hands!! I stayed until my oil change was finished. The waiting room was full of people but there was always a place to be able to sit! I will definitely be coming back for my car’s next routine tune up!!

The drive manager, technician, and customer service coordinator were all very friendly, helpful and communicative. The issue with my Sienna’s auto doors was a tricky one and they took they time to completely walk me through the problem and solution. I left with a smile on my face.
So I buy a 2020 4Runner a couple of months ago from Dolan. Take it in for first oil change and ask them to mount the front license plate while being serviced. From Cal and need front plates. They say they need to order bracket and its going to cost like $100. Im like really? Over $50k for a truck and they wont throw on plates. Ugh. Stuck with 5 years of prepaid maintenance with them.
I scheduled service online. When we arrived the lady who was working the service desk had no idea what service I was scheduled for or what we were due for. I had to pull up my appointment confirmation.I received a text saying I could reply with any questions. I sent a message asking when my car would be ready, but there was no response, so I had to call. It was an hour after I was told my vehicle would be ready. When I called they said my car was almost done, but they were finishing up paperwork and I had to wait for someone to call me. When she did call, she couldnt tell me what was done or how much it would be, I had to wait for her to look it up. So what kind of paperwork was she doing? Customer service is lost here.The mechanical work was done well. They seem to know what theyre doing.

We came in to test drive a Rav4 last Tuesday and ended up bringing one home. Nicole was very welcoming and helpful throughout the process. She did really well in explaining the differences between the trims and packages that come with the vehicle. Gaylen was awesome as well. He did a good job in discussing the warranty and maintenance options that we have. Overall, it was a great experience for us.
There’s little I enjoy less than having to get my vehicle serviced but this one was more than painless! I enjoyed so many services at no cost to me, and I was even offered an Uber back to Dolan to pick up my truck. I thought that was the coolest thing I’ve ever had a dealer do for me. Jonathan was incredibly nice and helpful with all my questions and put my mind at ease about everything being taken care of in a honestly super timely manner. I work graveyard so it’s hard for me to do things like make a trip to the mechanic, but it was a breeze. I’ll definitely be back at 16k

I ended up waiting in the dealership which I normally don’t do. They are taking all precautions necessary during this time, which was very reassuring.
I’ve just had my Camry serviced for the first time at Dolan’s. John was thorough explaining the process, timeline, and auto status report. Facility big enough and with plenty of seats to allow social distancing. Positive experience. I’ll be back when the next maintenance is due.
Toby, Steve and Drew were all very polite and accommodating and made my experience at Dolan stress-free. I felt that I didn’t get everything I wanted from the deal we made, but they certainly negotiated with me and in the end we struck what I felt was a fair deal on a Prius. Had a great experience at Dolan Toyota due to Amanda taking car of scheduling my Sequoia in for maintenance. She produced for me some excellent reports on what was accomplished, what is my next pressing maintenance issues to tackle, as well as ones the previous owner passed on. I now know exactly where my vehicle stands and am scheduling it for follow on maintenance to get it to 100% up to date and ready for the great outdoors. First time for me to be using Dolan Toyota dealer for anything but I was really impressed from start to finish everything I mean they just took care of everything swept me through I just had keys made and and the alarm reset and a clicker made so they were just just very impressive everybody involved there in that huge dealer very impressed with their professionalism and courtesy to a customer five stars

It was a much nicer process than it was 17 years ago. I had to wait 2 months for my car but I was kept updated throughout the process by Cesar. The buying process was smooth and in the end, I love my car.
I worked with Nikolai and he did a thorough job of going over what I needed to have serviced on my car. I told him that I was in the middle of a 7000 mile western driving trip and that I wanted to make sure the car was in good shape for the completion of my journey. He listed what needed to be done and took extra caution to ensure that my trip odometer would not be reset. He even arrange for an Uber to take me to a local public swimming pool while my car was worked on. I give a five star rating to Nikolai and Dolan Toyota for their outstanding service. The car performed well for the rest of my journey and I made it safely home.
5 stars to the sales team - they did great addressing any questions that we had. Very helpful and professional.Although the service team is different story. The truck we purchased had tires from 2011 on them (which the truck was a 2011, so they were what came stock), had excessive tire wear on the left front tire from an alignment issue, and were cracking in the tread. When asked if they would replace them they said, “They passed our safety inspection, we can replace them at an additional cost”. When asked to see the safety inspection they stated that they could send it later on, which they did and it was after the vehicle was already purchased. No tire shop will service tires beyond 9 years old so I’m not sure how that passed their safety inspection along with the alignment wear and cracking in the tires. Also, the service manager was supposed to reach out to us regarding getting the alignment checked out but never did.

Was greeted with enthusiasm and ushered into a very comfortable room and my car was ready sooner than stated. Personnel were all very attentive and polite. I also love the fact you get a free car wash so was very pleased.
The service associate was friendly, courteous, and professional. My objections would be that she recommended a tire alignment without an inspection of my tread wear. Also service recommended new tires. I checked the tread and found that the tread was well within acceptable limits.

We were looking to buy another car and had settled on the Toyota Highlander. When we went in Alec helped us find the one that had the specs we wanted. Oscar, our sales person, was very informative and guided us through the myriad of options and features that we found extremely helpful. Everyone is super nice, they do a great job. The only problem I have is, it takes 2 hours to get an oil change. I could drive up to any jiffy lube and have it done in 20 minutes. Only reason I came here to get one is I had 2 free ones since buying my car.

I live in Carson City, but cannot get into service until October. I decided to go to Dolan Toyota because of availability. I am so glad I did. Erica was great and explained everything. I highly recommend her.
This was my first time buying a used truck from a dealership. Cesar in sales was very low pressure and easy to work with. I had a few concerns with the truck that he addressed before I took the vehicle home, but I got the impression there wasnt much he could do price-wise.Unfortunately the part where you say, I want this truck, get me out of here, is just as slow and painful as usual. The finance manager was pleasant but also asked me about the extended warranty no less than three times. I understand his motivations, but it was a bit much. I was also annoyed that he went on a credit-running spree with a bank I didnt approve of. Looking back, buying used even with excellent credit is a pain and I shouldve financed myself BEFORE walking in. (-1 star here)After owning the truck for three months, I came in for warranty repairs and routine service. I was admittedly annoyed when I received a post-inspection service email saying I needed new front brakes/rotors. As the truck was a certified pre-owned, Toyota promises that my truck received an inspection prior to sale and had marked the brakes green/good on a 3-rating scale. There was no way I ground the brakes down from good to shot in 3 months.My service writer, BJ, was extremely polite, understanding, and transparent. In the end I only paid for my original oil change and the brakes were taken care of without charge. BJ really saved the day for me and reduced the otherwise stressful experience. On my next service date, I will be asking for him directly.

#1) No car wash. #2) Power steering unit was covered with crud. #3) Not much improvement in the wheel balance around 65 miles per hour. #4) Everything was in hurry up hyper mode once pulling into the garage and interacting with the service manager. This visit cost $466.54. #5) The mechanic’s work reflected an indifference to me as a customer. I was very disheartened.

We all know buying a vehicle can be stressful so we prepare the best we can. I searched and scrolled through their inventory at their website, filtering what I wanted in my vehicle prior to going to the lot.I found what I was very interested in and then called and made an appointment. Oscar Bravo, my knowledgeable salesman, called me and said he had the Jeep pulled upfront and to let him know when I was there so he could meet me.I arrived and sure enough, there she was in all her glory. I met Oscar we checked out the car, I took her for a test drive and made my decision. The anxiety starts and the next thing you know…Oscar made me cry happy tears within minutes. The whole experience was smooth and I highly recommend you go see Oscar at Dolan!
Dolan Toyota has been so helpful for me since moving up yo Reno for college and buying a new car at the same time. Although I did not buy my Toyota Corolla from Dolan, they have done all the service on it and have been extremely helpful each time. Jorden was especially helpful this time. He made sure to answer all of my questions and discussed what I should expect for my future services (i.e. buying new tires and pricing for my next service). He went above and beyond with explaining everything to me (who knows nothing about cars), and everyone I have met at Dolan Toyota has always been amazing.
Jordan and the crew at Dolan run a tight ship. They get people in the door at the crack of 7 am, get your info quickly and youre on your way. An open warranty on my sienna was addressed in short order and done by mid day.
The folks at Dolan were great! We put a deposit on a car that wasn’t scheduled to be built for about 6 weeks. Dani (our salesperson) kept us informed on the status of the build and the car arrived as scheduled with all the equipment we expected.We were treated well by all (sales, finance, trade-in appraisal, concierge, and new vehicle delivery) and paid a reasonable price despite the high demand for our vehicle choice.All in all a very positive car buying experience.
Went in for a service and I had been very specific that I did not need my tires rotated because it had been done the past weekend, but they did it anyways. Now I have to go back to have them rotated again. Brought to their attention that my seat belt in the back of the truck was not working properly and they said it was out of manufacturer warranty. The truck only has 30k miles and I bought new and never had anything done outside of Toyota. Even though I showed them loyalty, they looked the other way when a safety concern on the vehicle was brought up to their attention. Will reconsider bringing truck back to their shop for future work.
I was continually lied to about when the work on my car would be completed. Took it in on a Monday car promised to be ready on TuesdayI actually went to get the car Tuesday, no one returned my calls asking if it was ready, silly me. Was told Tuesday while at the dealer that it now would be done Wednesday Wednesday I called and did get a call back that no it would be done Thursday same story on Thursday. Car was finally done on Friday I was so frustrated that I sent an email to the owner. Several days later his service manger started a half hearted attempt to reach me. He’d call, leave a voicemail but always be on the phone when I returned his calls. After a week we finally connected. He was clearly calling because his boss had told him to. No apology was offered nor real excuse give. The guy clearly needed customer relationship training. I’ve moved on but will not take my car to these guys for service nor will I consider buying a car from them.
Seems to me that this dealership is so busy that things get overlooked. There is a lack of communication between the service department and mechanics. There is not much if any supervision over the mechanics. The service employees doing the paperwork can only do so much. The actual mechanics need to step up.
The service was performed exactly as requested, and it was completed earlier than quoted. The shuttle service home and the Uber return were very convenient. Everyone I worked with was courteous and helpful. I was totally satisfied.
It was a good experience. Cameron kept us informed of the time line as we had several things done. We appreciate the great service.
They really made the process easy and fast. I was able to save quite a bit buying outside of California.
Leo, was very knowledgeable sales person who treated me with the out most respect. He was very patient with me and went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the vehicle I choose. He stayed with me until we drove off the lot. We went to Toyota Carson and I left super unhappy because the salesperson who helped was super rude and I didn’t think I was going to find anything. I showed up 30 min before the closed “just to look” but Leo hooked me with his great personality and awesome customer service!
