Longtime regular for this ACE Hardware on St. Patrick St. They have very kind and helpful staff, a wide variety of loose bolts and Hardware. Highly recommended.

Good little store. Unfortunately the high theft rate in rapid city has these guys a little to on edge. There is a fine line they sometimes cross. Nobody wants to be asked if they need help four times in a visit. Its a small small store. I think I got this. Let me shop

What a great store and great staff! We have used this hardware store many times in the short time we have lived here. Always friendly, helpful staff and can find what we need or ask for help. I just found out they sharpen scissors/send them out for a very fair price - surprisingly so! While I dropping off the scissors this past week, I asked about an item I was looking for and the employee told me they didnt carry it but I should try another place in town. Now, that is service, just like the movie Miracle on 34th Street! Great store.

I went with a couple questions and although I was given some erroneous info by a young man he was courteous person. When I went back I got help from a guy who was extremely nice and helpful and on top of that gave me the correct info very nice staff.

The store is small compared with the larger chains like Lowes and Menards but it has everything the do it yourself person or contractor needs. Friendly people from help in the back to the checkout area

Went to buy a smoker/grill. Not one employee spoke to me. And when I trtied to find a restroom. Found it to state no public restroom. So I left. Its 2020 and you have 40 customers in your store. Its tine you have a restriom for your customers. Menards is cheaper anyhow

I have shopped here for almost 2 years. Built a relatively decent portion of my garage & shop tools through this location. Today I was greeted at the door by an older gentlemen with a scowl on his face. As he opened the door for me he said in a grumpy tone “you got 2 minutes” & waved me by.K.First of all that’s the rudest comment any person has ever greeted me with as I entered their place of business. WOW! How about a smile & a “hey sir, due to protocol we will be limiting customers in store. Due to this we ask customers hurry in store. Thank you.”Taking in current world affairs & economic downturn as factors. Protocol posted makes complete sense. However the appalling nature in which this employee greeted a long time customer. Who has literally spent thousands!!! Welp! Guess from now on it’s hello Menards. 👍

Its always a good place to go looking for things. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Ive never had a bad experience here. They might not have everything but its still a good place to go find items that might be needed for a project. And they had other locations they can look at for items too.

Nobody seems to know where the things I needed were, I was sent all over when they did find what I needed they said it would be awhile before they could get it due to the fact that another person had to get it and they werent in yet. There interactive store map for inventory was all wrong also.

Mike, the Store Mgr. & his awesome Staff run such a nice, bright, clean store & have a great variety of anything you need. Everyone is friendly & inviting & very helpful.

Some employees were rude. I was looking for certain sizes brass fittings when an employee and another customer walked into the same area. The customer read off a list of what he needed, and like I wasnt even there, the employee continuously jumped right in front of me to help the other gentleman. After a few minutes of this, and not being able to find what I needed, I put the few parts I had found back and walked out of the store. I most likely wont do business at this store again.
