Good clean store... was good experience. just wish I couldve bought more. Next time.

Not shopping here again after the customer service from a manager I received today. She called my company to have one of my guys move their trucks so her delivery could get by. No problem! We have to do this all the time. We park out of the way so their paying customers never complain and sometimes we have to move. Its as simple as calling me and Ill make it happen right away. We are never mad or upset its what it is. But this lady was extremely rude about it. Not only was she rude to me but she was also rude to my guy on site. As a manager to another manager you have to have customer service in every situation. There was no reason to call in already being hostile. I already informed my husband who is a member here that we will not be setting foot in this business again. If you treat people that way I do not want anything to do with you. I understand having a bad day, we all do but this was ridiculous. I was very upset after I got off the phone with her and was furious when I called my guy and could hear her screaming at him the background. All she had to do was politely ask him and it would have been done right away. This is too bad as I did enjoy this store but I will not help places that treat others this way. I hope she is better to her staff and customers.

Called and asked the manager if the tools I needed were in stock she assured the tools were in stock after driving 100 miles she advised me they don’t have them,, this store is a joke..

Good prices as always, but they were out of a couple of power impact wrenches, so hopefully they come on the next truck and are still on sale.

Needed help trying to find some specific tools and all the lady did was write down idle numbers and give me my list. Didn’t find everything she wrote down. Left empty handed. Wished your employees would help people look for what they needed.

Alwsys a bargain to be found. Staff are friendly and always there to help find what your looking for.I found and outstanding deal on a GREAT Tool storage cabinet. The Quality is OUTSTANDING, very heavy duty, drawers slide nice and have a latch to lock, very large heavy duty casters, with a good barrel lock!!

Prices are great, just make sure you block off some extra time when you shop at this location. My 3rd ( and last ) visit to this place was painfully slow at checkout( as were the previous two) One checkout person was struggling to handle all incoming phone calls and also trying to special order a tool for a customer while the rest of us watched as numerous other employees walked by us without offering to help at check-out. Four customers in line and we just had to wait it out.

If youve never been into a harbor freight store then I highly recommend you do so. They carry and offer competitive prices for a wide variety of tools necessary for construction work down to the person who does DIY . The Rapid City store is quite clean and very concerned about people safety and regarding to the COVID virus. Overall my entire experience with this store and Harbor freight as a whole has been very very good some of the tool prices and offers that they do come across some are cheap but by cheap I mean getting a 20 piece screwdriver set for example for $5 . Great value probably not a lifetime set and if you want to buy Snap-On Tools this is not the place to go .

Dear Lord save your sanity and do not enter this store. Tried to use a 20%off 1 item coupon. First the employee argued with me and told me there was no such coupon. I finally found coupon in my email. Then the employee couldn’t figure out how to use it.Asked for the store manager to come over and honest to God he told me he didn’t know how to work it. It’s not rocket science guys it’s a coupon.I explained they could give me my 20 percent off or I was going to Lowe’s and they told me ok.Save yourself the frustration and start at Lowe’s

Staff is always very helpful, availability of products can be hit and miss.

Do not buy tool boxes if they are not in stock at the store. I bought a toolbox at Christmas and I was told it would take two weeks to get there. I called in town weeks and they said it wold be two more weeks. After that they said it would be the first of February. Then it was the 16th of February. And now they r telling me that it will April before it gets here. Will be getting my money back as soon as possible because this is absolutely ridiculous.

Good place to get cheap, single-use tools.. Hit and miss on whether the tool you get will last beyond, but it has been there for me when I needed a tool to get through a project.

The store its self is great. Its a Harbor Freight, not much to say. The place is 2 star worthy because of the guys working there. Not very friendly and when you try to warranty a tool they are A$$ H&!#$. And thats putting it nicely. They act like they are offended that your even asking for a warranty to be honored and then treat you like it comes out of their pocket. Easily a 4 star store if the employees who hate honoring the warranty on wrenches didnt work up front with the customers.

Very poor quality merchandise. Made in countries where there are no human rights, benefits or decent wages. And no oversight 2 prevention of pollution either! Its no wonder corporations wont higher American workers in this country because they can get it so much cheaper elsewhere. We need tariffs and 200% import taxes and fees to compensate and set up a fund for the damage it is being done in the name of low prices.

My garage looks like a Harbor Freight showcase. Most of my tools at work were purchased from Harbor Freight, as I can buy an entire set of ratchet wrenches there for what ONE or TWO identical ones at work would cost. And probably came out of the same Chinese factory. In recent years, the overall quality of most HF items has improved with minimal increase in overall priced. HF also asks for consumer feedback and suggestions, and demonstrates apparent desire to improve to meet acceptable expectations.

Wide variety of tools. Good warranty policy and friendly staff.

I stop in every once in a while to check out any good sales on items there, they do carry some good tools and supplies on hand so I stock up when I can. Staff are usually pretty knowledgeable on some products, typically I research stuff on-line for more in depth information. Best time to come in is on the weekday on the mornings, never had to deal with a rush or long lines during their big sales.

Plenty of inexpensive tools, gadgets, gizmos, and stuff. Not the highest quality but definitely worth a stop, especially if you need a specialty tool for a one-time use. They do have quite a bit of stuff that nobody else in town has and their prices are fair. Finding help in the store is sometimes tricky but that allows extra time to wander the aisles and fine some more stuff that you didnt even know you needed. And if you get on their mailing list, theyll send you flyers that always contains a coupon for free items. And who doesnt need a free item?

Many products here are true junk, so be careful. Bargains can be found though for the inexpensive project or job. Shop with coupons and sign up for their store card account for mailed coupons and email receipts to make things effortless for return or warranty. Staff has always been helpful and friendly.

I cant stand places where every single item in the store must have a coupon to purchase or be a member. Whats the point of having them at all then? Explains why the checkouts take forever. I didnt feel like the employees were knowledgeable either. I was sent in the wrong direction twice!
