Ive only been here a few times but this is one of my favorite study spots. Espresso drinks are great, the food is tasty, and staff is very nice and professional. Jubala has great atmosphere to meet a friend for coffee, or get some study fuel and hit the books. I recommend the London fog (pictured) or a flavored iced americano!

The shop has coffee of a variety of kinds as well as food, such as drop biscuits, waffles and scones. The items were reasonably priced. The drop biscuits were very well done and the coffee was smooth and flavorful as well. Theres indoor and outdoor seating in a relaxed atmosphere. I would recommend for a cup of coffee.

The menu options were a delight (something for everyone). The food was delicious and the coffee was just right. The service was friendly and accommodating. Both indoor and outdoor seating options and the location with free parking was key. I highly recommend this restaurant for a pleasant and satisfying breakfast or lunch.

We had the pumpkin spice latte with oatmilk and it was delcious. Not overly sweet and the espresso they use is divine. We also tried there drip and its not something i personally would get. It was a light/medium roast so to acidic for me. I am more of a dark roast bold coffee drinker. The avocado toast hit the spot and the biscuits you must try.

Love this place! It has such cute vibes all around and is located right next to the NC State Bell Tower, which is cool. I dont drink coffee, so I cant comment on that (but my friends like it), however I get their egg and cheese biscuits every time because they are so good. Its also a great place to do homework, but can get busy, so get there early to get a good spot.

Limited indoor seating can make out difficult to enjoy this place in the hot Raleigh summer months; but, if youre lucky youll be able to squeeze in Im their communal table.Good snacks all clearly made in house as you can see from the kitchen in the back. Good outdoor seating right across from the campus.Update (2019-10-20):Went back recently and this place continued to be as wonderful as it was the first time. I grabbed a banana bread, and a mocha. The mocha was more bitter than a traditional mocha, but still good. The banana bread was delicious, but had chocolate in it (just in case youre not a chocolate person).Fantastic cashier was very sweet and helpful.

Having visited Jubala twice I can now say it is amazing! The workers there are so kind and make everyone feel welcomed. Me and my friends loved trying all the different drinks and food they have there. They have an amazing honey latte that is so delicious both warm and cold. Their almond latte is so sweet and tasty! The hot chocolate and pumpkin spice latte are lovely to enjoy on a cold fall/winter day. I would high recommend trying one of those drinks with the chocolate chip banana loaf! One thing that is cool about this place is how almost every drink can be served hot or cold! I love the vibe of the place and how rustic chic it is! It is also a great way to see the NCSU bell tower with enjoy a great breakfast! 10/10 would recommend!!

Literally in the cutest spot on Hillsborough. I ordered the campfire mocha and banana nutella waffle and they were absolutely delicious. The staff was so pleasant in guiding me through their shop and had a very kind manner about them; just a wonderful atmosphere. They brought out my order as I sat outside and were very sweet. Couldnt have had any better of a start to my day. Such a beautiful morning and experience to kick off the day.

After discussing how much he will miss good biscuits after moving away from NC soon, I just bought myself and my employee biscuits for breakfast here.Now I love a good biscuit, but this guys a biscuit connoisseur.Let me just say, my ice coffee was perfect and hit like rocket fuel, and the biscuits... perfection. My employee says, No joke, that was the best biscuit Ive ever had in my life. That right there, is extremely high praise.Curbside pickup was great!

Nice place for studying. Free WiFi which is always great. However, I didn’t like the taste of coffee ( I took flat white and americano). Also, I ordered a yogurt which was great. Overall, it is a good coffee place.

Good shots, great service, the baristas need to wand the milk a bit longer to create a warmer micro-foam that yields a better rosetta design. I would also love to see the history of the shop’s name somewhere on the premise.

We were traveling and the coffee shop was below our hotel. The coffee was awesome and the people who work there are REALLY awesome. We ordered drinks and I had a small conversation with my son about how we werent getting a cookie before breakfast. The drinks were brought to our table with a gift from the kitchen for my son. It was the most delicious, giant chocolate chip cookie weve ever eaten in our life. It made his day. 😍🍪🤤

Located on the ground floor of the Aloft Hotel structure. This is one of many shops in town that use Counter Culture beans, but these folks know what theyre doing. Ive especially enjoyed the Free Espresso Fridays for several years (here and at the original location in north Raleigh). Its not totally obvious, but there are several retail parking spots for Jubala and Gonza customers, behind the hotel!

Bought coffee here five days in a row. Perfect every time. Biscuit sandwiches (I had many) were all perfect. Try the yummy chocolate chip cookie or the banana bread! Good outdoor seating.

The biscuit saved this poor experience. Blaring music, had to raise my voice to order. My wife said the coffee was gross & curdled. Over priced mud. Biscuit pretty good! I would implore the mgt to lower volume of music, any autistic person would be triggered.

Jubala has the best iced chai latte in Raleigh, hands down. Also, their sweet biscuit sandwiches make for a bomb breakfast, and the prices are totally fair. My husband has gotten the tea and drip coffee and both come in these cool glass pitchers. A very cool vibe for a very cool place.

Food and coffee is always delicious. However, recently ordered 4 bacon/egg/cheese biscuits for pick up and 2 of them were done incorrectly. One was missing an egg and the other missing avocado. Upset they messed up 50% of our $35 order.

I am a regular here, and felt compelled enough today to write a review. Food is consistent here, they go above and beyond to make their drinks perfect for every customer, and I have been coming here for years. Customer service 10/10. They have online ordering and additional curbside pickup at this point in time and everything has been timely and professional. Thank you Jubala for getting me through the day!

After a long morning of classes or just before a long day begins, Ill find myself here sipping away on a delicious coffee. The ambiance is nice and relaxed even when the crowd rolls in and the places really picks up. The food here is wonderful. The biscuits are slightly sweet and the eggs are cooked to perfection. The staff are super friendly and the coffee is always fresh. My only qualm with this place is the lack of power outlets. If youre coming here to do work, make sure your battery is fully charged.

This is my favorite coffee shop in town. I usually get their egg and cheese biscuits it never disappoints. Their coffee is amazing too and the staff is vary friendly and welcoming. Totally worth a visit.

I love this place - good coffee and usually friendly folks working at the counter. It gets real busy on the weekends, and I wish they opened earlier, but otherwise its good. If youre planning on having a meeting or something, plan on doing it outside because inside can be really loud with music and other people.

I’m sitting inside right now eating the most heavenly waffle I have ever eaten. Seriously, is this stuff baked in honey? Crispy on the outside, sweet on the inside, and basically melts in your mouth. Don’t even get me started on the coffee. Everything here is absolutely DELICIOUS. I will definitely be back tomorrow and any time I’m in the area after that.

Jubala is such EXCELLENT coffee and breakfast/lunch spot! All their coffee is meticulously sourced and brewed to perfection. Their food is unique to them with a really tasty spin of some of your favorite biscuits and sandwiches! Bacon pimento biscuit will have you slap your momma is so good! If you are looking for a great local coffee spot Jubala is always worth a stop!

Great coffee and food

Coffee was good and the biscuits was a nice mix of crusty outside and fluffy inside. The foam heart design in the drink is cliche, but unlike a lot of places it lasted the whole way down the drinks. Nice clean place for a local coffee and a great environment to get out and do some homework or thinking.

Regional coffee chain with above average execution. Good malt waffles. They get most coffee drink orders right. Pleasant patio tables as well as indoor seating.

While the food is good, it is expensive and usually they are always out of what you want to order. I really like their desserts and will get them on occasion but its a 50/50 chance that they will actually have what you want. The last time I went with my husband and they were out of muffins after I already paid. I was told I would get refunded back on my card, though it never happened.

This is my favorite coffee shop hands down. The staff is always in the best mood, and ALWAYS so nice! (That goes for both locations, Hillsborough is just my usual). They are going the extra mile with curbside pickup right now! If you can get out, please support local business like Jubala! Great biscuits - when they have them.Ive gotten coffee/eaten at Jubala a lot over the past year or two. Their biscuit sandwiches are some of the best Ive ever had and the coffee and vibe are great too. But 4 out of the last 5 times Ive been theyve been out of biscuits. I dont know if its because theyre so popular and are over capacity or because theyre inefficient, but either way it sucks to walk all the way over there from campus to find that theyre out. Definitely wont go back again.

Breakfast sandwich was amazing as well as their coffee. If you eat bacon, that is a must as well.

Great, fresh coffee with a variety of options including french press. The food is amazing. We tried two of their biscuits and the banana Nutella waffle. The biscuits were very good, but the waffle was amazing!

I believe darn good cafe covers it as well. Mind you, I only had a cappuccino and a yogurt w/granola, but they were both rather good. The complementary water with washable cups is a nice touch.

I know Im biased because J1 is my original/favorite location. Doesnt help the staff typical wont make suggestions or are very helpful, their coffee is more experience or the cashier charges me extra every time and the coffee doesnt taste the same...Ill go the extra mile to avoid this location and to to the one in North Raleigh.

Sam does not sell coffee, he shares love. His passion, attention to detail, and service is unparalleled. People come from all over the world the coffee, and stay because of Sam.

As always these guys are friendly and make the best lattes in town. The environment is youthful and alive. Its a perfect work or study spot. If you havent been there you should check it out.

My absolute favorite place to grab breakfast. I usually get a regular coffee or one of their seasonal creations (its not a BS PSL from starbucks, right now they have a Coffee Old-Fashioned which is good, but this summer they had a coffee lemonade which I was skeptical of but then absolutely fell in love with) and a ham egg and cheese biscuit. You cannot go wrong with anything here. It can be crowded, but that just means its good. Again I cannot stress how much I love this place. My girlfriend and I ate here 4 days in a row for our anniversary because it is just THAT good!
