I’ve been here a few times and will continue to come back, despite the long drive, because it’s worth it. The drinks and snacks are delicious (and all vegan! 💚), the cats are adorable, the ambiance is really nice and welcoming, it’s clean, there’s something cute or interesting to see in every corner of the cafe, and the people who work here are friendly. Most importantly, this cafe is supporting a great cause: finding forever homes for kitties who need them!

A cute and fantastic little cafe! THEY HAVE CATS YOU CAN ADOPT AND FANTASTIC DRINKS. They also had a really awesome vegan food truck outside and Im very carnivorous but I loved everything about it. Five stars all the way for this little spot.

Yesterday was my 2nd time reserving the cat room, it’s always so nice and chill. The staff is great, the drinks are insanely good! We got wine this time, instead of coffee— which was also fantastic. We ended up hanging out on the back patio after the cat room reservation ended, drank some more wine, it was a beautiful day to be outside. My partner got a cup of their cold brew and WOW it was so good. Best cold brew I’ve had. 11/10 would recommend!

I have been here a lot for drinks and snacks (once to visit the cats). Drinks are great and I love that they have some sweets, too (Dees Kitchen fudge is the best. Seriously). I would love to see some breakfast items like muffins or scones. Staff is very friendly. And they have cat-related items to buy in the store and some eco-friendly items (reusable cups, etc). Support them and help cats find their forever homes!

Delicious drinks, adorable cats, cute cat toys and themed items -- what more is there to say? Love this place. They have great monthly/seasonal specialty drinks too. Highly recommend!

Don’t even bother going to Starbucks or dunkin, this cafe got everything you’d need! 😻 everyone is super friendly and all the drinks are amazing!

I popped in here for the first time this week and loved their pumpkin spice latte! Also really appreciate that everything is made with vegan options, and there are lots of spots to work. Ill be back soon.

Love this place. Tasty drinks and snacks (Fiction Kitchen, Little Blue Macaroon, Dees Kitchen, Union Special, JPs Pastry). Friendly staff. Easy online ordering (sign up for bonus points). The owners have worked hard to make this an essential destination for locals and visitors.

I’ve been here multiple times and I definitely will be coming back! The cat room is kept nice and tidy and all of the cats are so sweet! Not to mention the iced lattes are great, and a great selection of dairy free options. Thank you guys for being so great!

My partner and I went with some friends for the first time a few months ago. The whole experience was amazing and fun! I’m not even much of a cat person and I really enjoyed spending time with the cats. After this first experience, I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with Purr Cup alongside the nonprofit I work at. They are always willing to donate coffee to events and programs. They were also very excited about trying to set up an event at the cafe. Unfortunately it didn’t work out, but I now know that future events could happen with fairly easy planning. They are LGBTQ+ affirming and have had sales of things with proceeds going to really amazing organizations. Love this place!!

Raleigh’s first ever cat cafe! And it’s 100% vegan. It’s on the corner of Prospect Ave, and the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because of the parking situation. Thankfully, there was plenty of street parking available, and they make people aware that they don’t have a lot of parking on their website, but still. Either way, I was worried that the place would smell like cats... NOT AT ALL. It’s a redone office space, and it’s so cute and quaint! For now, entrance is in the back, where you’ll also find a nice patio area - lots of road noise, though, but it’s a pleasant spot for a morning cup of coffee. Which is fantastic, by the way. I got a hot latte with pumpkin flavoring and almond milk - so good! With our 2 large coffees and 2 Lenny & Larry’s cookies, our total was a little over $14. Will def come back with a reservation to play with the kitties. They’re in a separate room, with plenty of space and toys. When we were there, there were about 6 people inside the cat room. Such a neat spot overall!

I love this place! I’ve gotten several of their iced drinks and they’re all amazing. They also have cute cats that are available to be adopted. Highly recommend to everyone!

Of course the kitties are adorable, sweet and playful, but the play room is comfortable and sunny. Very nice. The coffee was excellent, and I love that everything is vegan and gluten free treats as well. Fun little gifts section. I look forward to going back with others to enjoy a glass of wine out back, and another visit with the cats!

Went here this morning with a few friends and had an amazing time! The staff here are so friendly, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the kitties are adorable!! We all got an art print from a local artist and also tried some snacks with our coffee. overall a great experience, can’t wait to come back :)

This place is a gem for Raleigh. They do so much for both the cats and the community. The facility is clean and safe, especially during the pandemic. The drinks are also delicious. Highly recommend stopping by for drinks or to hang out with the cats.

I love Purr Cup! My boyfriend and I try to go any chance we can and we actually adopted one of the kittens from there 💕🐈‍⬛💕 It is such a fun, SAFE, inclusive space ♥️ and the coffee is amazing!

I understand the appeal of this cafe and I was hoping our family would enjoy it. We enjoyed the look and decor of the cafe. We enjoyed that we could reserve the cat room. The board games and coloring books were fun.However there were a few things that we didnt enjoy. I understand that the rules about the cats have to be stated, especially around children, but it felt very aggressive and wasnt done with kindness. Our kids were super excited to go and spend time with the cats and that put a damper on the experience as it felt like they were being told off before having done anything. I think it could have been handled in a better manner.Everything is plant based which is fine if thats what you like. They charge extra for whipped cream which we were not told, and its $1 extra per cup. The drinks are pricey. They suggest a $10 fee per person for the cat room but its actually really awkward to have to tell them you want to pay a different amount. I wish it could have been prepaid for our you could enter the amount without having to say how much you were paying.The cats were cute, sleepy but cute. There was one we were told not to pet because it didnt like it. That seemed unusual for the situation.Overall, I am disappointed as I was expecting it to be more enjoyable. I dont think its worth the price if youre taking kids.

We recently discovered this place. We did not schedule a cat room visit (though we would definitely like to soon!) however the cat room looked clean and it was still cute to see all the cats lounging as they please. The coffee was VERY good and despite being on a very busy road, they have a great little back patio to relax. We cant wait to go back!

I watched another group play with a cat, it looked lovely! The coffee & sweets look great. They are fully vegan, so I could not get regular milk; I ended up trying oat milk, which was not bad at all.

We made a reservation to play with the cats for an hour- it was a lot of fun. The play area was very clean and was stocked full of toys and playthings for both cats and people. The store front was also very clean The staff was very polite and got us our cafe order quickly- the drinks were very good! I highly recommend giving this place a visit!

Had a great time at purrcup when I brought my husband and little cousin to visit! The staff is very friendly and the kitties are such a joy. As an added bonus, the drinks and snacks here are top tier, too! Theyve got absolutely amazing Little Blue Macarons on hand, and how can anyone say no to that?! I will absolutely be back at purrcup in the near future!

Going to Purr Cup Cafe was a wonderful experience! The staff are incredibly kind and friendly, and you can tell that they really care about the animals. The inside of the Cafe is super cute and the drinks are amazing.

The coffee was so good and it’s handcrafted. My latte was cheaper than Starbucks and it’s completely vegan. I’m absolutely coming back as soon as I can.

Absolute 5 star local business!! The owners are incredibly awesome and are helping get a ton of cats adopted via their cat cafe. For a small donation, you can drink their delicious coffee while hanging out with some great kitties. Even if you dont want to visit with cats, you can enjoy your coffee or tea outside on the deck or on the back patio. The decor is really cool, impeccably clean, and organized. Their kindness towards animals extends to their menu as it is 100% vegan. Sarah comes up with unique drinks like the Glam Rock shake, Tortie Mocha, and other matcha delights. Theres even the cutest gift shop with lots of cat items like masks, pins, postcards, magnets, etc...

Just visited for the first time and it won’t be the last! Latte was great, very clean, staff friendly, and of course the kitties are amazing. Very much needed 1-hour therapy session for my family and I couldn’t think of anything that would’ve worked better! The kitties had great temperaments, very loving, and we enjoyed every second of our time there. We will definitely be adopting this route when the time comes, hopefully in the very near future.

The cafe is really cute and quaint. It would be better to reserve it earlier in the day, as the kitties get tired of being handled towards the end of the day.The desserts are all vegan and taste great.The cats are all adoptable and some may already have been adopted by the time you get there.They are nice and respectable people. And they are enforcing masks. So please dont bring anything political here. Its for everyones protection. You can have your mask off while eating. But keep it on otherwise.Please adopt the cats here too. They all are from local shelters from what it seems.Leave a good tip if you come.

Our family had such a fun morning hanging out here! There are very few places we can take the kids safely right now; we loved having the cat lounge to ourselves. Our 6 and 2 year old boys liked petting and watching the five cats play with an assortment of cat toys. There were also cat themed coloring books and games. Coffee and snacks were great, too. Completely worth it! Well be back!

I visited just to visit with the kitties, so I cant comment on the drinks or goodies. The staff was helpful and helped me get some interaction with the cats by bringing me some treats to help them stop napping for a bit.

It was so nice sitting in the cat room and the cats were so sweet. Coffee was really good also. They also have a small shop of coasters, cat toys, pins, etc.

Went with my husband, chilled with cats and had a wonderful Pink Matcha Latte. 10/10. Wish I caught the hosts name, but the whole place has immaculate vibes. Gonna try and stop by again soon.

We made a reservation for the cafe and came to meet the cats, and fell in love with a one-eyed cat named Vinny and also the location itself. While we were with the cats I was too distracted to remember my coffee, but when I finally got to it, the coffee is also amazing! Everything was super sanitary, the staff is so sweet, and now we have a little pirate cat to follow us around all day ^_^

This place is awesome 😻 We had an amazing time! It was so much fun playing and cuddling with the kitties. The coffee was delicious, and the place is so very cute and clean with lots of toys to interact with them and take pictures. Book a room, you will not regret it!

THE BEST PLACE! The Tortie Mocha is my favorite drink and the gf brookie is my favorite sweet treat! The soy whip is SO GOOD! Owned by a wonderful family who take pride in what they do and go above and beyond. Theyre exceptional people and make you feel like youre visiting an old friend even on your first visit. The outdoor seating in the back is very nice, dog friendly, and the patio heaters do a great job of keeping the cold at bay on chilly days. They have a shop inside, too, filled with super cute merchandise from local businesses! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! $1 drip coffee from 9 to 10:00 am and sweets go on sale at the end of the day on Sundays!

Incredibly cute and welcoming spot with a lot of thought and intention behind everything they’ve done and continue to do. The coffee is delicious and very effective! The staff is very kind and friendly, one of the owners was working behind the counter along side another barista which really adds to the connection you feel with this small business. The cats are as cute as can be. Will be visiting often.

Really enjoyed my time here! I got a vanilla latte and it was really good. All the snacks and drinks are made vegan but you wouldnt know it at all unless you asked/noticed the stickers. I would recommend coming earlier in the day cause the cats were a little grumpy when I arrived which was in the evening. Mightve been a bit peopled out. Still really enjoyed our time with the cats and love that this cafe is a thing. 💜

Purr Cup Cafe is very pleasant and the staff is helpful and courteous. The location is great since it is close to I-40 and is not in a congested area. There was also parking at the Cafe.

Went here for their pumpkin carving event/fundraiser. Super friendly staff, good coffee/tea (I had an Americano and my friend had a rooibos tea), adorable cats (of course). We didnt actually go in to play with the cats but it was fun seeing them through the window. Im looking forward to another visit in the future!

I had expectations of 5 to go but it ended up being 3. The drinks did not meet my expectations too watered down and with little flavor, the attention was good if you want to be with the cats you will have to book and I think you will pay 30 dollars for the visit.
