I wish I could give this store double 0 stars. First and foremost I am licensed hairdresser for over 10 plus years so know hair and how to care for hair of all types and kind. I have purchased hair from the Beauty Supply Outlet on Sunday the Janet Collection and the hair became knotted as soon as I installed it. So I called the store and spoke with mimi she told me that there was nothing she do that I need to speak with a supervisor and they were not in and that I needed to back in a couple of days and I did and spoke with Florence today and today is Wednesday and she told I needed to come in and speak with the store manager and I went the same day into the store and spoke with him and as I am telling him whats wrong he kept talking over me telling nothing doesnt look wrong with my I showed him how knotted my hair as he told me that he cant do anything about it. I am a faithful customer I travel over 45mins every time if I need to purchase any kind of hair or products. everytime I am spending over 300 dollars with no problem but as of today I will no longer be supporting this beauty supply.

Its well stocked. Prices ok given the rising costs with everything. Pandemic is the cry for all the merchants..

This establishment was clean, the workers was very helpful and there were tons to choose from and the clerk was nice and helpful with the policy and procedure.

TL:DR Heated out while spending my hard earned money! Spent around 30 mins shopping. Did not have all the items I was looking for or prices on the hair. Had to ask. Unfortunately ended up having to get items priced at the register. Staff on the floor was friendly but not the indiviual at the counter. Noticed as I stood in line to make my final purchase that I began to feel a bit dizzy. I thought it was just me until I noticed people fanning and leaning as they stood in line. The store was sweltering. I mentioned this to an employee and was informed that the heat is turned up to get customers to leave when the store is close to closing. I was shocked! I dont have to shop in places that disrespect their customers to such an extent. Will not be back.

This place is a good place to shop for beauty supplies but you need to know what you want beforehand because they have a lot of stuff. A lot to choose from you can spend a lot here.

This store is ridiculous. I was shopping there with my daughter the other day, I was in the store maybe five minutes. I have an implanted medical device, the metal detector went off they demanded I stay in the store while they reviewed the video for more than 10 minutes like I was a criminal.

I came in here looking for nail polish and manicure tools. I dont know if there was another section of the store that I missed but from what I saw their selection is small. I was disappointed with their lack of polish options. I wanted to get gel polish and a UV light for gel polish but I didnt see any. They did seem to have a decent selection of hair care products and accessories.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. They have a great selection of items here. All the items to choose from can be overwhelming sometimes but the have friendly staff that are always around to help when needed.

Not only is the store very disorganized, the selection is limited and service is poor. On my final trip in the store’s windows there is a large sign that says, “Entire Store 20% off” but the promotion was not honored at checkout. The cashier indicated that the promotion doesn’t apply to items already on sale. The crochet hair I purchased typically costs $4.99 (I was here before the promotion began) so I know that wasn’t true. I didn’t press the matter further but I just know I won’t be back.

I love this store. So many things I cant find anywhere else. Great prices also. I love that they carry Nicka K. Cosmetics which I really like and they are very reasonably priced. Nail polish very unique colors also! They have cute earrings at the checkout counter very reasonably priced and they dont turn my ears green or make them sore. People are very helpful and nice also. I dont get to visit very often but when I do it is a very special occasion 🙂

Great prices. Lower than other beauty supply stores in the area however only go here if you know what you’re looking for. I’ve been here twice and on both occasions I needed help searching for braiding hair. Both times the clerk was super rude and it was as if I was bothering her. The first time she pointed down the isle of a hundred types of hair instead of walking to show me. There were multiple workers so she had ample time to provide decent service. Went back today and same thing. Same clerk same bad service. Won’t be back. I’ll pay higher for better service.

This place has a ton of accessories and makeup which I love!! BUT, I came for wigs. Tell me why all the wigs are out for display and they are SUPER OLD, so I ask for wigs in different colors, hoping I can get one in a box, but noooooooo We dont have that color. The prices are high, and the wigs look like they have been recycled. I would only recommend the accessories and braiding hair.

I love this place I never have an issue when I go here great customer service and the prices they got everyone else beat. I just wish they was open on Sundays like now I ran out of hair for my client and have to wait until tomorrow, but otherwise then that this place is great.

I stopped here for something quick, it was packed with a bunch of merchendise. A lot of these types of beauty stores have way too much stuff in them. It all looks like junk at some point, just stick to hair products.

I was in the Raleigh area getting my hair done and needed to pick up something my loctician had me come to this beauty supply Outlet and I have never been to a beauty supply store this big. There were so many things they are felt like a kid in a candy store. Employees were very friendly will definitely come back when Im in the area.

Always find the specific items that you would not find in the regular store. The people are always nice. I was offered a 20% on one product, even though it was not advertised.

Staff was not rude to me at all. They were actually very sweet. Only 4 stars just because its very cluttered, but Ill take cluttered variety over neat and lacking variety any day!

These people do not understand how to treat customers. If you go into this store wearing a coat in the winter time as most do or carrying a handbag larger than an envelope, be prepared to be followed around and treated like a thief. I even witnessed an employee accusing a customer who had just walked in the door with an exchange, of stealing the product. That was the last straw for me. I have never gone back and will never do so. The good reviews have been written by employees and family members. Do not waste your time being disrespected and demoralized. These people need to realize that without African Americans, they have no business. We can shut them down in a weeks time.There are numerous new beauty supply stores in North Raleigh and the vast majority are friendly and respectful. If you live on the West side of town, there is a beauty supply store on Avent Ferry road where the employees are very, very friendly and welcoming.

I can literally send hours in this store...so clean and big and there is always someone to help maybe because they are always watching to see if you will steal but non the less great store...prices can be reasonable if you know what your getting but a all in one shop for your beauty needs

Terrible customer service . Went in to exchange the hair color i bought that had never been opened i realized once i got home i bought 3 bottles but one was the wrong color. I went back up there to just exchange it for the correct color with my receipt in hand and the lady behind the counter was extremely rude and told me they wouldn’t let me exchange it because i probably used it already then she proceeds to open it up herself (keep in mind she’s the person who opened it) and examine it . I was not asking for a refund just an exchange on an item that was never opened and i also showed her on the receipt that it says it can be exchanged within 10 days...this place is a joke and i will never return

The hair Sennsetional was absolutely horrible. I got 24in that needed to be cut down into a small bob because of tangles.. The hair also has a very nasty oder to it.. I didnt notice it at 1st but once it was on my head it smelled like plastic. The store itself was filled with lots of options but based on this hair I bought, which was $214.00 for a bundle w/a basic closure not lace. THEY DO NOT CARRY QUALITY PRODUCTS!!

Dont even bother to go to this store. I witnessed how they try to make my sister look like a thief when she was trying to exchange something. Dont take my word for it go there and see it for yourself.
