You would think that this would be one of the better EWC locations but its not. I had a great waxer who I guess left. I called to get a reminder on my wax time since I had forgot and she proceeded to let me know that my waxer was no longer there and that there are no other available times for the day. While I did receive a text message about this prior to this phone call, I DO NOT primarily communicate via text msgs. Just like a text message to their automated system to cancel my appointment wouldnt have been accepted, I should have received a phone call. In addition to that, she was able to give me my appointment time before telling me this which means I was still in their system for today and was planning to show up. Do better.

The lack of consistency the estheticians have with following a waxing process is irritating. They all seem to know what they’re doing but the last few times I’ve gone they missed so much hairs in my eyebrows. They all have their own way of doing it—today she didn’t even wax the top or bottoms of my eyebrows, only the parts after the point where it slopes down (if that makes sense), and my eyebrows are also uneven. Is there no standard to how things are supposed to be done? Their services used to be better, it seems like the ones who know what they’re doing leave this business.I could have done a better job myself and saved the $36.

I went to get my first Brazilian ever at this place. The esthetician seemed confident and explained everything. It was a good experience until I got home. The were many patches left. So I called and they were able to get me back in to fix the problem. They gave me the same waxer. I let them know that had a lot of hair left. They say, well there is supposed to be hair left. I know the hairs were all the same length so why are they not gone, I wonder? I get on the table and the esthetician says, oh I see it. Shouldn’t they have been seen before? Anyway I didn’t get any type of prep the second time. No wipe, no oil, no powder. Straight to waxing this time.. I asked them to take a photo and I didn’t notice before, but when I got home there was still hair at the base! I don’t understand why after two times 24 hours apart there is still coarse hair at the base!! Just seemed very halfassed. I think I will try a another EWC next time.

I always get the full Brazilian Wax & I only go to Ariel & she does an amazing job!!! She’s wonderful & very caring & she takes pride in her work. I will not let anyone else wax me but Ariel!! You the best Ariel💞 Thank you for always taking care of me when I come in!!

I hate being inconvenienced and that’s exactly what European Wax Center has done. I LOVED this location and up until today, I was a repeat customer for 3+ years. My appointment set for today was canceled without my notice. I was told it happened because someone no longer works there. I was told someone called me, but I did not receive a call or voicemail if one was left. If you all really wanted to get in contact with someone, how about also following up with an email??! Or maybe even another phone call?European wax center will never see anymore of my money.

I usually go to the falls of neuse location and they are great (2 years) but Im about to give birth in few days and needed an appointment. This was my first time at this location. I did not feel welcome. I dont even remember the name of my wax specialist because she didn’t speak but to say your done. She was not friendly she rushed my appointment. When I got home there was still hair left!! Definitely not satisfied with my service here. I would really like someone to reach out!

If you have an important event/vacation, ALWAYS book a second appointment just in case because they will cancel on you when you get to your appointment and tell you they can’t get you in for another few weeks. Learned my lesson after the 3rd time they cancelled on me.

The table I laid on was clean and it had paper on it so customers can lie down on it. They obviously discard after every use, the employees were pretty nice and I would definitely come back here again

I had my first Brazilian here and Ariel was amazing I was so nervous at first but she talked to me the whole time and made me feel really comfortable. It was like I was chatting with a friend and it didn’t even hurt lol I would definitely recommend EWC and Ariel

I have been to this location before. Had a decent experience prior. Today I was 4 minutes late. When I came in, no welcome, no eye contact, the receptionist just rattled off some instructions to me so fast I could barely understand what she said. When I asked for the instructions again, she never even looked up, she told me to go outside and hoover my camera over a code taped to the door and wait until I am called from my car. I went outside, did as she asked and nothing. Returned inside where I had to wait 3 minutes for her to finish her call. I told her that what happened, she took my last name and told me I was late and my person moved on and I could wait for an appointment at 2:00 p.m. I declined. I never beg anyone or business to take my business. Quality service, customer service and common courtesy are my determing factors. This location European fail short.

I got my eyebrows waxed and I have very thick naturally shaped eyebrows and they DESTROYED THEM. They are so uneven and so poorly done, one is WAY thinner than the other and the shape is not even close to being similar to each other. I have never had a worse waxing experience

Amazing--5 stars every visit. I hands down recommend Chris. Shes phenomenal and will get every single hair. She will even get tweezers to make sure youre 100% smooth! Sometimes Ive waited till the last minute and shes been booked, so Ive had to venture out to 2 or 3 other girls but they just dont compare I absolutely recommend Chris, and the front desk girls are always friendly!

She not only waxed and shaped my brows better than I have ever had BUT, actually took the time at the beginning of our appointment to educate us on brow placement, shaping, filling in, etc....In all of my years having my brows waxed, I have never had anybody actually teach me what to do and what not to do with my brows to look their best!!I cannot say enough about her!! I would HIGHLY recommend Lindsey.My 19 year old daughter was there with me and Lindsey W. also took the time to teach her about brows as well. I will be bringing back my 13 year old to Lindsey so she can teach her too!!:)

Front desk was friendly..But Malarie... she was kind of rude she didn’t really wanna talk it was like she was getting frustrated..and this was my first time so I was nervous. And I was waxed properly.. when I got home there was still a little bit of hair left.. so disappointed!

They do a good job here with waxing. My only complaint is that every waxer is very impersonal. I understand they see so many clients a day, but just be yourself!

I purposely bought the ingrown serum and got an ingrown after the fact.

The staff are very nice. However, Ive been doing waxing my whole life and the Waxing service here is not that great especially for the price you have to pay. Its too expensive and they wont remove the hair completely. I would only come back if I had to.

I’ve came here 3 times and never left with a clean wax. I’ve always had hair left on me even though I pay close to $70 to get the hair removed so I’m never satisfied with the results. Also the lady at the desk wasn’t the most polite.

I visited today for a wax service with Ariele. She was very pleasant and her great personality set me at ease from the beginning. Not only did we have a nice conversation that took my mind off of what was going on, but her technique was as painless as I imagine getting hair ripped out could be. She was extremely fast, but equally thorough. If you are considering a visit, I highly recommend requesting Ariele. I will certainly return.

I’m here for the summer and can’t get to my esthetician of choice so I decided to try EWC. Can’t say the experience was good or bad. I work downtown and commute using public transit, it’s summer time in NC, TRANSLATION: it’s HOT. Pair that with this being my first EWC experience, I may have been a bit nervous. My esthetician today Patton seemed annoyed that my armpits were sweating. The vibe was weird, I wanted to hop off the table tbh. Lol I do thank her for working with my pits, for the sweat glands were doing their job. Lol anyways, everyone’s yoni area, thighs, buttocks area looks different. It was like she was also taken aback or something while going to the rear/performing her job. Maybe it’s her demeanor idk, I MAY return and change esthetician’s. Also, I was handed the serum as a “recommendation” no questions asked. So I bought it; could for sure find a cheaper option.

Tip: Find a waxer you like. Overall, EWCs are great: easy to get in and quick to get through. Excellent and cheerful front desk staff.

Im no stranger to brazilian waxes, however, I think the young lady who attempted my wax wasnt aware that you remove all of the hair - front to back. The good thing about this place is that you get a huge discount on your first visit. The bad thing about this place is that I expected complete hair removal, but found some unwanted hair when I got home. Im pregnant, so I couldnt see everything after the service was over, but when we got home, I had my husband check and there was still hair. I will not return to this wax center.

DO NOT COME HERE TO GET WAXED! CAMERON VILLAGE OR FALLS OF NEUSE (same owner)!According to them, you can be refunded for your passes. I fiancé bought my first package in Atlanta, Ga when we went for a weekend getaway! They told us that we can use the pass anywhere! GREAT, because I don’t live here!My passes were running low (or so I thought), so I decided to go ahead and get the Brazilian pass while they were buy 9, get 3 free. Instead of the people at the front desk using all of the first past when checking me in and out, before using the new one, they were switching between both every time I went in.When it came time for me to part ways because they decided to get rid of one of their best waxers (only great one left is Carson), I asked for my money back for the remaining passes.However, since the staff at the front desk decided to use both passes interchangeablely instead of using all of the first pass (as the promised they would), I was told that I could not get a refund for the “Atlanta” passes because they were not bought at the Cameron Village location. What?So I explain to them that I was told that they would use the first pass first, so they really owe me all of my money for the second pass.I spoke with the manager for the location and also another lady, maybe the director and neither one of them were willing to refund me for a mistake THEY made! I reached out to corporate and I receive an email saying that the issue has already been resolved, but it has not!I am still waiting for my refund and no one else has reached out!DO NOT GO HERE! All they care about is their money and selling their products! Customer service? Yeah, right!

I recently decided to try waxing for my bikini area as I was so tired of struggling with stubble, ingrown bumps etc and having to reshave every few days. I was especially nervous going in as the most Ive ever had waxed before was my eyebrows for special occasions lol. There was no need to be. Lindsey was fantastic! She made me feel so comfortable and calm, such great customer service, and gave me some amazing tips so I could have the best wax. Did it hurt? Hell yes haha but totally bearable (and Im a baby about pain) Take an advil before and youll be fine. The best part? completely smooth for like a week and in general lookin good for ~3 weeks. You go in once a month for 15 minutes and wow so worth it. Save yourself from having to rapid shave before the beach ever again and just get waxed. Itll be the smoothest youve ever felt and last longer than any shave. I have been waxed 3x now and theres no going back.Things to note: no heavy exercising or sex for at least 24 hours so plan accordingly. Please use the serum daily, a little goes a long way. Cotton only panties day of wax. Get the wax pass, itll save you money and time. Remember to exfoliate your body often.

OMG Lindsey is the BEST ! As soon as she greeted me and called me shug I was in love. I took the chance of getting my Brazilian done the day of my cycle...(I know TMI) but i say that to say we know thats the worst time to get a wax! Well my appointment was at 2:15, I went to get a cookie next door and was in my car by 2:34....That was the most painless and quickest wax I had ever received. Lindsey has the sweetest personality and made me a very happy lady :)

Anna my waxing technician was great!! Always courteous and friendly.vWas going here for a while and front ppl had always been Meh. Granted Im obviously complaining about 1st world problems but is it too much to ask for respectful/courteous service from the front desk. First they somehow canceled and I had schethey. They usually call a few days before for a reminder and a week or two i realized I never got the call (it was a rough couple of weeks). So I called and had to set up an new appointment. Then I schedule an appointment for 2:15 and when I call at 2:10 to say I am running 2 mins late they tell me that I called already early Im the day to move myOK Ill send it out appointment to 3:15. So I get there at 2:17 for them to say they booked my 2:15 an hour ago because I called earlier to push my meeting later. I proceed to tell them that I did not call. And then the girl started saying that maybe I heard wrong and that my appointment was always at 3:15. At that point I asked about changing locations and walked out.

The wax they use at European Wax Center is much less painful than any other waxing place I have been to! The environment is also extremely sanitary.

I usually go to Chris. She is extremely fast and makes things easy.

Got my first brazilian today, and I wasnt very satisfied. I still had a lot of hair left especially around my labia. I have dark hair so I cant say that was the issue. I will probably test out other EWC in NC since I dont have any near me at all. Pretty upset I made that 2 hour drive and still came home to shave my labia.
