They have soo many selections and the staff is actually helpful and honest. I have been shopping at this store for 5 years since I moved to Raleigh, I dont feel like theyre trying to rush me out or feel like Im being watched.I like this place. One of my fav. spot to shop for my hair.

Ive never had a bad experience here. The people who work there are nice and helpful. They never make me feel uncomfortable. Just about anything you can think to pick up, they have it! I think you would be hard pressed to find better prices.

The one star is for the lady at the cash register who had a great smile on her face, and answered any questions I had. I did end up buying a wig due to time constraints, but never again. The older lady in the back was rude when helping me try on wigs, sighing at me twice with disgust. Like I was a burden to her. She follows people around, which is creepy. No privacy trying on wigs, or a chair to sit in to look, and rushed to buy. Ive never had such a poor experience at a wig store. Buyer Beware!

I have been to this store a few times over the last 3 or 4 years. I have bought a hand full of things. I went in last week to look for a half wig, my hair is falling out and I wanted to try something new to lift my mood. After, looking at a few different wig and trying on just one. I asked for help from the lady who was following me around since I entered the store. She help me with the first wig, that was a little to much hair for my liking. My husband notice a wig up on a high shelf and just said to me Honey look, what about that? The lady looked up and said to us No, you cant try that on its $400.00 dollars you cant afford that. We were stunned to hear that come out of her. I drop what I had in my hand to the floor and told my husband lets go we will buy a $400.00 wig at a store that appreciates their customers and we both left. You have to let them know, you will not tolerate that disrespect . You don have to be nasty or mean, just dont shop there, and let them know why you will not shop there It is really that simple. Its suck because they are less than 5 minutes from my house.

Family owned operation from what I can tell. The isles are marked relatively vaguely, but they are marked. The store tends to keep brand stuff together which is great, but each time I go in (once every few months) my shampoo is in a slightly different place in the hair care isles. Selection in store is really impressive.

Great selections, very nice customer service and I am always able to find all the products I need. One of the best places in Raleigh that cater to all people. Come in with a positive attitude and don’t be frustrated.

They have some decent wigs and alot of products but they need to work on their customer service skills. Me and 4 others where here around 7:45 pm and they close at 8 pm and we was being rushed. I understand the time of closing but it’s not what you say it’s how you say it. We felt that the staff was being rude. I will not be going back here and I suggest y’all go to one of the best hair stores in Raleigh Lux beauty of capital blvd where they have great customer service and a whole lot more better quality wig choices .

I shopped here loyally for many years and had to return a product that I bought recently. Despite being a loyal customer and always being pleasant and friendly to the staff, the older Asian lady (I believe she is the owner) went out of her way to tell me that she did not appreciate my returning this product to her store AND JUST HOW MUCH SHE DIDNT LIKE IT. I did not argue back to her because I considered her age. At that age though you would think that they would understand the value of customers patronizing their stores and treat people with basic human respect. I WONT BE RETURNING OR SPENDING MY MONEY WHERE THERE IS NO MUTUAL RESPECT. THERE ARE TOO MANY OTHER STORES AROUND.

ATTENTION!! Please shop elsewhere!!! They wouldnt allow me to use my BLACK CARD to pay for my $16.00 purchase. No decline. They just refused to allow me to use it. Ive shopped here in the past and I used the same card on 4 different occasions.... WOW!!! Just lost another customer!

I love this place, everyone is so friendly, Ive been going here for several years. The little old lady always asks me how my son is doing when I go without him, and shes always very sweet to me! Great prices, huge selection.

They have everything here! Service is fast & friendly. I did find some products to be over-priced but overall the selection is great & the prices for most items are reasonable.

I frequent K Discount every now and then. They have a great selection of hair and products. Always greeted when I enter and most times the store associates are very helpful.

Just left the store and they are AMAZING! I read the reviews saying they were racist and I did NOT experienced any of that while I was there! Theyre SUPER FRIENDLY & they have the best selection on crochete hair! Definitely making this my go-to store!

Prices are high and they walk around following you or spying on you. If youre Black you know what I mean. Rather spend my money somewhere with no harassment and cheaper prices.

Ive been coming here for years. Im a black female and in my course of time of going to this establishment the ladies finally stopped following me around while in store because I always purchase and they began to recognize me. This should have been my first hint to never go here again. That type of prejudice is never okay and Im saddened that I help support a business who does something like this. My only excuse is that I love to kill people with kindness, + it was convenient/cheap for what I needed.Last weekend I went in. The ladies who normally run the back area were all off on vacation I learned later. The younger crowd was there and proceeded to tell me (after trying on 8 wigs) that I could not try on more then 3. I asked how I was supposed figure out which one I wanted (as each and every time I always try on multiple and buy one or two.) The lady shrugged and her co-worker then chimed in and said: If you would put them up correctly then yes, but I see a lot of customers like you who try on so many and they are put back horribly and they dont buy. I proceed to defend myself telling her that usually there is an older lady back here with me brushing each wig and putting them up... She concedes by saying if I brush them and put them up correctly I can continue to try them on. I then inform her that was all she had to tell me: That she wanted me to do her job (because lets face it, if it were a restaurant and after three plates you then had to serve yourself OR get out....the business would be closed) and pay her establishment. I told her that was a joke. I was angry, heated, and felt disrespected. Needless to say I will never be going there again after three years of business Ive decided I should have never had to prove I wasnt a thief to be treated kindly in the store to begin with. Only then to be told by a new younger face that I could only try on 3 wigs due to her not wanting to do one of her ONLY jobs while in the store.If you go there and have a great experience Im happy for you. I just wanted to tell everyone about my time here and while I will never be returning. Also: I returned so often because the wigs only last 1-2 months even the $89 human hair one. Which isnt bad, but you can find better online if you want to pay a bit more that last much longer so even out in price. Furthermore, last time I was there with this incident, I found weaver bugs in two of the display wigs and informed them and they just shook them out...didnt disinfect or anything. So thats my spiel. Please note you can find better places. I wouldnt wish any African American to support those who feel they shouldnt have to provide good customer service to OR that you have to prove yourself to so that you arent watched.REVIEW UPDATE: Please be very wary of random profiles that pop up here and there after my review claiming this has never happened to them. These profiles have no photos and have only written one review if you check out their profiles. They also popped up a week after a really detailed review about their service. Those profiles also have the very same writing style. Just be really careful and smart. Businesss will sometimes create fake profiles to band aid horrible reviews. The other majority of good reviews are from people who are not of color. I just found a great wig store with a marvelous lady! She was custom cutting another ladies wig on her head for her and didnt stop to follow me around. She made me feel so welcome and had the sweetest attitude. I normally like this store I been shopping here since 2012. However today I went back to the store to return a wig that purchased from this store just last week and they would not take it back. This isnt the same wig that is in display in the store, they tried to tell me the wig on display is flat because it has been out longer. These are clearly two different wigs. I will never ever shop here again nor will I recommend them to anybody else.

DO NOT GO THERE! THEY WILL FOLLOW U AROUND LIKE U ARE A CRIMINAL! I took my mom here to shop for a wig after her chemo caused hair loss. This korean lady followed us around every second. My mom felt uncomfortable trying on a wig while that lady was watching her. I said momma lets go somewhere else. And we are WHITE. I stopped these 2 black ladies coming in & asked them do they follow u around too? She said Yes maam the korean own shops do. I thought it was bc Im black. I said na they followed us around too . Disrespectful rude asian lady. I wonder if they would treat Asians like that if they shopped there. If you have cameras & alarms all in your store like this place does, WHY do you need to follow the customers around? Its rude. 👎

As I walked the door the first time EVER, the theft alarms sounds. Even though the B**ch who owns the store watch me walk into the store she comes over grabs my purse from my shoulder before I could respond and empties the contents. After finding the reason for the alert, a lipgloss previously purchases from another store, she attempted to explain to me that was the reason she had to grab my property and dump its contents. Rather than apologize, she advised I should make sure those are removed before I walk in a store. IF this proprietor is going to operate in AMERICA, should learn good business practices and how to treat customers. She should learn her LEGAL recourses IN CASE SOMEONE IS attempting to shoplift. She should also learn that grabbing property off a person is assult and she CAN get her ass kicked. I was caught off guard by her unprofessional behavior the first time but I WILL VISIT AGAIN and I will not be caught off guard by any form of her unprofessionalism. If she is suspicious of African Americans then she should try to succeed in a line of business that doesnt cater to us. She will need to learn to respect women of color and if not she will respect the money that is spent in her store. I would advise future customers to prepare for her racist shenanigans and to prepare, as I will, to respond in kind.

The only reason the stars are only two is because you cant shop like you may want to. The owners are on you from the second you walk in. They walk right behind you every where you go. Trying to convince you to go ahead and guy whatever you have in your hands and leave. I cant deal with that.
