I needed quick service at a moments notice. They fit me in and got it done by the end of the day. Hyundai couldn’t help me for two weeks. What a blessing to be led to Meinicke on that day! The front counter guy was very helpful and informative, and called with my estimate in a timely manner.

Patrick tried hard on a difficult situation finding a near extinct fuel injection spider assembly for a 1995 Blazer. There wasnt one to be found in the country as is it was a discontinued part. They were very fair with the price for the work done and I was actually was pleased with the experience even though the car could not be repaired. We all gave it an effort trying to find the part. I would recommend them again due to their honesty and professionalism of the staff. Again thanks for your effort.

I had a stalling issue to a no start issue. I was working on it myself to solve the stalling issue. And when it wouldnt start, I was so frustrated that I said #$*! it and called them.They was able to take my car in right away and give a proper diagnosis. The only complaint I have is that there was no communication between employees as they did not know what to do with my car when I left it after hours. Otherwise from that they found the problem and fixed it fast. Even though they told me that it was one of their most difficult diagnosis to find the problem.

Was buying tires at Costco and two lug nuts on each rear tire would not come off. Costco said if they force them and they break we would have to call a tow truck. Costco sent us to Meineke as they could do the repair if they broke. Luckily they didn’t break! The folks at Meineke were super friendly! When they forced the lug nuts they came off with no damage. They removed the tires and inspected the threads. Meineke did not even charge me. So Meineke now has a new customer and I will spread the word!

I walked in not expecting the worst. My husband usually dealt with car issues but he passed last year and dealing with any kind of repair since then whether on the house or the car hasnt been pleasant or easy for me in most cases. The young man that greeted me was pleasant and professional, walked me through the process and possible costs and made sure I was clear on what to expect. They worked quickly and very professionally. This will definitely be my go to place from now on !

One of my windows was stuck down. Called these guys and they said they could fix it and to bring it in. A couple hours later they said my window needed a motor and switch and said they needed to order them and it would take a few days. I came to pick my car up and told them no thank you on ordering parts. Then they charged me $180 to do nothing, but pull the window up! Good thing I didn’t listen to them. I went to another mechanic to find out both the motor and switch can’t go out at the same time and I only needed a switch done for $40. They wanted to charge me hundreds. I used to come here all the time, but never again. They just tried to rip me off when I’ve been a loyal customer. Maybe it’s just me or they do it others, I would just get a second opinion. I guarantee it’s not what they say.

Called the day before to schedule a time for a prepurchase inspection. When I got there I was told it would take an hour to an hour and a half. So I went and got some food. I came back an hour later and the car hadnt moved from the parking spot I left it in. I went in and talked to the guy behind the desk and he got some people on it. I watched them take another 20 minutes to pull the car into the garage and do a quick 20 minute inspection on it. They did save me cash by finding stuff wrong with the car, but very unprofessional time management.

No BS, good communication, got the job done. Couldnt have asked for anything more.

They use fear and intimidation to compel you to accept their offer. I refused to be pressured so I left and went to Firestone. The guys there are 300% nicer and for the same service (with lifetime warranty) they charge 50% less. Please check Firestone before you go to Meineke.

Went in for a 10 o’clock appointment. They called me at about 11:30, after performing the inspection, and told me I needed two new calipers, two new rotors, and a new set of pads on the rear. I happen to know how to do brakes and actually installed them, myself, only about 4 months ago, but the caliper seized and I needed it replaced. I’m not allowed to do work on cars at my apartments, so I tried this store. This all being said, they quoted me $1100 for all of that, but the parts only cost about $400…. AND I didn’t even need any of the parts they recommended except for the one caliper and pads. The rotor with the bad caliper has a very, very shallow scratch from the old pads that could have very easily been turned instead of replaced. They also left my brake fluid cap off after the inspection.1/10 would never recommend.

I have taken my car here to get some general repairs done and to get my car checked up, they hit me with a quote over $2,200 the last time i went saying i needed all this work done even though i just went to them and they said i was good not a couple months prior so i get a second opinion to find that they tried to lie to me about work needing to be done on my car they said i had an oil leak, my control arms were on their last legs, etc. The next shop i went to showed me and explained to me why that was not the case and that i was not only safe to drive but the issues they gave me were straight up lies. This is extremely upsetting, i would not recommend using this shop or generally the meineke brand.

Set up an appointment online for an A/C check because mine was not working right. Dropped it off, they called shortly after my scheduled appt time and told me it was already fixed! Cost was under $200 and it works great again. Only disappointment was how long I procrastinated taking it in, and that’s on me not them.

Got an oil change here. I was a little nervous about coming as the reviews are kind of all over the place. But I took that WI a grain of salt, as people are normally angry when they show up with a car that is having issues. I watched a young man care for several customers, one of which was clearly a repeat customer that had a lot of needs. The guy helping him was super patient and attentive to his needs, even though it was clear he wasnt going to get a sale of any kind out of him I appreciate good customer service. Its hard to find, and can make a day incredibly annoying when you dont get it. This team clearly treats all people that come in the same, and even though I was just coming in for an oil change, they have earned my loyalty. Yall are pretty great!

Dropped off and diagnosed Friday afternoon. Morgan had everything pulled apart and cleaned out by early Saturday afternoon. Super nice family run shop. Happy car, happy owner!

The employees were very helpful and considerate. I went to get the tension tightened on my serpentine belt and they fixed it in less than an hour. I was really happy that the mechanic who worked on my car was the one that spoke to me to tell me what was done to fix the car. I had squealing sounds and they are all gone. I was very pleased with this service and I will be going back to get my oil changed here.

Booked online and got a conformation email for booked appointment time for 5/26 Sunday @ 1200pm. Took a day off work and missed pay to get my AC fixed. Showed up ontime for appointment and the shop is closed. Really?? So called them on tuesday morning since Monday was a holiday and spoke to the lady that answers the phone ( did not get her name). Only to be told its not their stores fault as the website is managed by corporate. That may be true but wouldnt you make sure that your store hours are correct on your company website and that way your future customers arent being mislead to false operating hours plus its your Brand.Anyways she basically told me she will speak with her district manager about it and beyond that she wouldnt offer me anything for this big inconvenience. I called their corporate phone number and they are suppose to get back to me. So I will update this review if or when I hear back from them. Pending.. so far not impressed.

Bad news delivered with honesty and care

I took my truck here because the oil light was on. They told me that it was because I needed a new fuel pump and fuel pump housing. I paid for the repair and when I received my truck back, the check engine light was on. When I brought it up to them, I was told they couldnt figure out what the problem was and basically there was nothing that they could do about it.

We walked in, they offered a free general inspection, it took like 20 minutes and then they explained me the list of services recommended to be performed.They were professionals and they explained me with patience because I dont know about cars.I do recommend it.

Honest and upfront. They did an entire suspension inspection and still couldn’t find any issues. Come to find out the sound I was hearing was from the company that put my tires on.

Im not saying current staff is incompetent year an a half ago had brakes calipers and rotors replaced and already need replaced for the same reason I brought it in for, real problem was not addressed is why they need replaced again warranty no longer valid nothing I can do. Was offered full price for repairs not going for it.

I drove 30 miles to this business with an appointment. Both times manager set my appointment for muffler installation. He did not have muffler. The place is filthy inside and out with things like old BBQs, tires, old pallets and spilled oil. The office area is filthy too.

Was very disappointed. Service was terrible and parts were overpriced. Seek business elsewhere. When they give you a quote shop around for other rates. They quoted me $400+ for a part that cost $150 at autozone. Seems like they just pick a number and ask you to pay. They will let you know things they recommend you fix, take their recommendations to another place to fix or research if its necessary. They recommended wipers to 5 people after me and charged $50+ for it. Do your research and ask for the name of the parts to find less expensive, good quality parts.

If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Brandon is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. He was the reason I left the spanaway location and turns out he is the district manager. He lied SEVERAL times! Told me at the spanaway location to pay 3k in cash. When I refused he said he would have a tech drive me to the atm. I again refused and his card reader magically started working. I took my car to this location and they over charged me $150. Then, they installed a faulty power steering pump that went out a few weeks later as I was driving down meridian. During this process to now get it fixed he told me that as a $0 paying customer (The part was under warranty) I didn’t matter. After several more lies he told me that I could call corporate until I was “blue in the face” I’d still be dealing with him and he didn’t have time for it. Corporate emailed him telling him I requested the owners contact info. To which he stated “yeah that’s not happening” and again refused. 2 days after I got my car back from them fixing the faulty pump I took it to another shop to have them check on a rattling noice. This shop found a handful of took pieces Brandon and his team left in my car!!! Then when brought yo Brandon’s attention he said “ that’s your opinion those came from us” and stated that if it was making more noises I should of taken it back to him. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!

I brought my car into Meineke because my son was treated so well when he brought his car in for his breaks. I had a great conversation with the manager Brandon and arranged for the multiple issues with my car to be fixed. I showed up they did the work that they could do, however due to a shipping issue all of the work was not done at the first appointment. They let me get my vehicle and take it home. Made another appointment for when the rest of the parts were to come in, I ended up getting there late and they still took my car in right away and got the work done quickly. They stayed late to finish my car this last time, have always done a good job, front counter person is very kind and personable. I like this place because they understand what I mean when I say I have limits to what I can spend, they seem to always be very honest and upfront, and always meet the price i was quoted. My dads been going to them for years, since they were a different shop.

The work done was warranty work. The brake tech did a good job fixing what another Meineke Car Care shop did wrong. I will go to this Meineke shop again.June 24th 2021I went back to this Meineke Car Care Center in Puyallup. This time I had clutch and flywheel replaced. When I called the shop, I was told that they offered free towing. I was contacted by whoever schedules the towing. Free towing is only for 5 miles, over 5 miles the tow is on you. This was during the heatwave we had in June. After I called the shop to see they did clutch work (they said did) I sent an email to them early in the morning. I posted that I had to clutch replacement work in one day. When I got there (it was about 8:30AM, the manager said it would take a couple days to replace the clutch. I was really disappointed because then I would have rent a car or stay in motel locally. I had no friends or family that could help me. So, I rented a car, then I had to get to the rental car, that cost $70.00 using Lyft. The rental car cost me $211.00 for two days. The tow truck left and I could not tow again to another shop. I was trapped. I dropped off my Jeep on Thursday, it was repaired on Saturday morning. When I pick my Jeep it was 105 degrees. The tech went over the bill with me. The bill said I owed $1600 + for the repairs. I looked over the bill and said, there is no discount for being a senior. The tech gave me a 5% discount. The next day, I researched the cost and discounts. On the Internet there was a coupon saying there was a discount of 10% any work over $100.00. I wasnt given that discount. The ad on the Internet said that offer would expire June 30th. The work on my Jeep was June 24-6. Clearly, I was entitled to the discount. Especially when the manager said (when he did over the estimate) I have gave any breaks I could regarding the repairs. No, he didnt. He did not give me the senior discount which is 10% not 5%. He didnt mention the discount 10% if the work was over $100.00. I wrote the manager and laid out the questions I had regarding the cost and discounts. There was no response to my letter. Then I looked up the time (labor) to replace the clutch and flywheel. I read that an estimate to replace a clutch and flywheel on my Jeep would take 5 hours +/-. So, if you work done in this Meineke shop, before you agree to anything, look up any discounts and research the repair cost on the Internet. This repair should have cost me, $1200.00 not $1550 dollars and could have done in one day. The total cost to me was $2006. The cost to me should have been $1200.00. The work was quality work, I am questioning the work, but the overall cost.

I have been using Meineke for all of my car repairs for a couple years. They always do their best to fix my vehicle in a prompt and professional manner. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I recently had to have my battery and alternator replaced. They got me right in, made the repairs, and had me back on the road in less than two hours. I definitely would recommend Meineke Car Care Center...

I needed to get my lights fixed on dads jeep so I pulled into their shop there, they were ready to pull me in rite away and also let me watch them which everybody likes to do. Bought my transmission almost a year ago, the manager Jesse and the regional manager Brandon were trying to be cost effective and did not reprogram my car which caused my transmission to malfunction.blamming the shortcut on me, saying i denied it. I dont know much about cars, but if its required to fix the transmission, i think id want it.Now my car has since broken down two months after the origional service, they refuse to replace or refund my transmission, but they did replace the starter they broke while servicing my car. I am now forced to get a lawyer for being out of 20k+ for my car and parts.Worst. Service. Ever.Ive spoken to the new regional manager, coorporate, The leadership team. meineke clames to not specialize in transmissions. Its been an 8 month battle so far.Edit:Ive been asked to contact the customer service team...again...which is where i went after Brandon was demoted to manager and the new regional manager Miguel had both refused to help me.Later i refered to the leadership team where i was again dismissed and my transmission is still broken, and i am still paying for it.Upon speaking with Brandon, in person, he called the cops and refused to help me, even after LITTERALLY BEGGING to fix my transmission in the lobby (on video) he still refused.5 cops showed up because he said i was irate.I was emotional and desperate.

They were very good at getting me in and out since I was broke down. They are very very overpriced calipers were 3 times what I could pay for them pads twice as much brake fluid way to spendy . Now I know why I usually do my own work. Hope I never get in a bind again. They were courteous and did give me a senior discount

Work performed was very good, but I was charged $496.12 to remove my old muffler and replace with a FLOWMASTER 42541 muffler which I was charged $189.99 retail from the factory is $84.00 so Im sure they paid less.

Where has customer service gone? The manager, who is the regional manager, was the guy who was a typical shop manager A hole, Brandon Cruz was the name. I had some choice words after being spoke to like I was worthless, and made to feel like my value for the service I wanted wasnt worth their time. Ill never do business at Meineke again!

All the guys there took amazing care of my car. They were all very friendly and polite. My car was going over the time they estimated and I had to get my boys from school so one of the guys offered his car for me to get them intime. Thankfully it did get done right when I needed to leave but the fact they offered that was definitely going above and beyond my expectations. I will continue coming here for any of my car needs. Highly recommend!!!

I went in for oil change. The manager really takes the time to understand your needs and doesnt try to over sell you something you dont need. While I was waiting more then once he worked with customers to find them the best deal. He really cares and that is worth it!

I went for an oil change at the Meineke on South Meridian in Puyallup today, Im a U.S. Military Veteran on a limited income so I was using their coupon because its a good price, I spoke with Brandon, he tried to pressure me into buying some wiper blades and I politely declined, he then got more aggressive and said that if I dont get another service done besides the oil change then they will no longer service my car. I seriously felt that if I didnt buy something else then I would be concerned what they would do to my car, there was no way I would let them touch my car after that. He was very unprofessional and borderline hostile, I will no longer reccomend Meineke anymore. I found out that Brandon is the District Manager, unbelievable that he would treat a disabled veteran on limited income like that, pressuring me to buy service thats not needed. I went to Valvoline in Sumner today, what a difference, they were very professional,courteous, and thorough, they checked everything with you in the car. Never again will I go to Meineke, and I will tell everyone I know to go to Valvoline.

I had a horrible noise coming from my car brakes, I was scared to drive it. After a check off my brakes they found rocks behind the rotors. After cleaning them out and a test drive, they found out I was good to go! And with no charge to me for their service. They had no idea that this small kindness made my whole day. Great experience with very friendly and informative staff. They didn’t try to push extra things I didn’t need when I came in for an oil change. They did inform me that my car needed new tires but didn’t try to pitch anything and left it at that. It’s super refreshing and I know my car was well taken care of. I came in, they asked me my needs and concerns, did what needed to be done/what I asked for, and I left. Will definitely use again.

I started taking my car here because I had a coupon. The first oil change was ok, but the last one was horrible. After driving all the way back home, I realized that almost all the oil had spilled out. I went back and they told me it was my fault. The band on the oil filter broke. I was like are you serious. Then they tried to make me pay for another oil change.

I purchased a Groupon for break service and an oil change. I was greater by Tim (typically works another location) who was absolutely great. He was managing the other employees as well as creating a great experience for the customers. He went above and beyond and answered questions and even helped with a key problem. He was great and deserves a raise.
