Way better than Tacoma location. Seems to be less turnover, too.Staff here are friendly and actually listen to your concerns, try to resolve rather than dismiss issues.Scheduling is good, its always nice when your 2 oclock appointment actually starts at 2. Lots of VW merch if youre into that kind of thing. The lobby is pretty small but its also walking distance from some restaurants if youd rather wait elsewhere.

Purchased a VW from Jose over the weekend. He had everything lined up for us when we arrived and made sure we could easily test drive several cars with our two kids in tow. The dealer was short staffed (covid related) and so we had a long wait to finish the transaction, but Jose found pizza and snacks for our kiddos so that we could wait it out. Outside of that, we found a crack in an external panel after we made it home and Jose got right to work to help get it fixed. Defitnely in good hands and would highly recommend! And we LOVE the car. Win win!

Volkswagen of Puyallup has a service department that amazes me every time I go due to the above and beyond customer experience approach that they provide. Stephen truly cares about his customers, helping me understand what is going on with my vehicle and providing me with options. Not only did he solve my vehicles issue, he also assisted with partnering me with a nearby company that was able to help with my windshield. The time spent attending to each customer, explanation of services, and willingness to walk me through and explain what is going on with my vehicle has created such a level of trust that I will never take my vehicle elsewhere to be serviced. If everyone on the team is as amazing as Stephen, this dealership has a lifelong customer that will utilize VW of Puyallup for servicing and when it comes time to purchase a new vehicle. I cant express my gratitude for finding a trusted dealership and VW employee that I know will take care of me and my vehicle. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Stephen Martinez was the best! Omgosh ! I literally had so much going on at one time(typical woman)...multi-tasking,mother, wife, etc... had to come drop my car off to get the speedometer looked at. Not really in position or wanting to leave my car, but I knew it needed to be looked at. I came in and was professionally greeted by Stephen. He took the time to come out to my car and asked me to point out the issues I was having. I pointed it out to him and he fixed it right there on the spot. That saved me so much time, effort and energy! He broke down everything I needed to understand regarding the issue and showed me how to fix it myself. Priceless! These are the type of people you need on your team!! Along with having such a great attitude and smile. He is a keeper !

Wow! What a wonderful experience my wife and I had at the Volkswagen of Puyallup. So glad we made the drive down from Seattle because it was definitely worth it. Shout out to Shawn Yi for the smoothest car buying experience ever. He truly cares about his customers and was so great at communicating. Summary: mistrust, likely lies, deception, blameIt really is kind of hit or miss. This past time...I asked them to check my ACC since my car would occasionally (KEY WORD OCCASIONALLY). Well, according to my multiple follow up calls...it was never checked yet my service advisor specifically told me they actually did check it during our final walk around before I left the dealership. She stated (while I admittedly dont remember WHAT she said the took off) they took something off in order to check it. I still dont know until this day whether or not they checked it, but it sure as heck seemed like it because, well, the problem got worse after I left the dealership. Not only did my ACC not work, but my whole front assist system didnt work yet they blamed it on me...even though the entire system crashed after they had it in their possession. I didnt have access to my car....but it was MY fault?! They invited me back in for a $200 - $250 front end check. Um, no. You almost positively caused the problem and now you want me to come back in and pay to have it fixed? I guess we can take a guess at how they pay for the free oil changes for life they offer with the purchase of all new vehicles.Jason is very pleasurable, always remembers us, and has a welcoming spirit. But thats the ONLY thing that went right on this visit.I dont trust them anymore after around three stories and three service advisors about what happened to my car on my visit. It means someone wasnt truthful, they are disorganized, trying to something up, or a combination of multiple internal issues. If my oil changes werent free, Id never go back.I do feel a little bad because I was short with them. So, if someone reads this from the organization, I apologize. Heres the thing, though: after multiple stories, being told I was going to receive a phone call regarding the issue (and never did...I had to call them), being told techs were working on vehicles more important than mine, and being blamed for the problem? And, after all that, not to think something is up and a cover up might be being attempted? Im pretty sure I was justified in being upset since I still dont have a straight answer.

Very poor communication with customers. Lacking customer service quality. Not timely.Brought my 2013 TDI golf with 58k in for a check engine light on an EGR flow P-Code. Car is still well under warranty. Was initially told that repair was thermostat failure and that my car would be done within 3 days. Never heard from my service advisor within that time frame. Called dealership and was informed that my parts had not been delivered. Asked about the parts list to find out that it was a LOT more than a simple thermostat, that it would be an additional 4 days, and that they did not have a loaner car to give me. 7 days later I still had not heard from my advisor. Made multiple attempts to contact my advisor, only to be told on the 4th attempt that it would be another 4 days. 14 days after bringing my car in and no temporary replacement vehicle - I go down to retrieve my vehicle after repair and my coolant light comes on in parking lot due to unfinished coolant refill.But I got a free drive-thru car wash, so that was nice.

So professional and an overall great experience! I went in looking for a specific car. I was helped right away and was able to test drive and get my trade is appraised. The color on the new car was not my favorite and there was another car in with less miles, different color, and cheaper, but not CPO that I wanted to look at at another dealership. I expressed this to Roman and he was so professional. He understood that they couldnt meet my needs due to personal reasons. Not once did I feel pressured, rushed, or Ill informed. So wish I could of boughten from them!I got another 2017 VW Alltrack S from another dealership, but I will be coming back for my services!

I walked into the dealership just expecting to get more information on what I would need to do to purchase my first car. At the most, I was expecting to figure out what car I would want to look into buying when the time got closer. What actually happened was I bought my first car!! I was immediately welcomed by Edward Siou. He helped me the entire process of getting a car. He made sure I got the best service and car possible. There wasnt a single thing I could complain about. From seeing what would be the most affordable to getting the car insured, I was taken care of. He made what I thought would be impossible for me, possible. Ive had nothing but issues with this service department. I pay for the extra warranty so I expected.....mmm better? They clearly dont communicate among themselves and they dont understand how to schedule appointments. They also dont finish their work and leave the whole engine cap in your back seat. Love VW, I have 2 of them and they arent coming here for service anymore.

I’m a man of my word and while this review may be long overdue, it is necessary. I purchased cross bars with installation for my 2019 Jetta online and scheduled an appointment with them the next day. The service was unmatched and great and since the VW in Bellevue recently closed, I will strongly consider taking my vehicle here for future service (even though I am located in Renton, it would be worth the drive to know things would be done correctly). 5 Star Service Department!- I brought amiable energy, myself and my 2014 Passat to VW Puyallup for routine maintenance. This Passat has seen several VW service departments from its inception at 10 miles to its current status of 108,876 trouble free(literally) miles. Im PROUD to say I can assuredly bring an aging Passat to VW Puyallup and they respect me as well as the machine.Heres the Great part- The staff makes the place! Jason M. was appointed as my service advisor. He thoroughly listened to comprehend the services that needed to be performed and delivered the best logical responses. I have this habit of dropping in unexpectedly to get fluids exchanged but it was definitely a busy week on their part, meaning I had to take an appointment a week later(Im easy going). A week elapsed, I arrived 1 hour early to my appointment(oops) and Jason was doing his utmost best to get me signed in (clearly he didnt have to but he did). I added on more services than I originally planned and he was totally okay with it. Since there was a bigger ticketed item added on, Id rather the technicians not rush, just call me whenever.My phone rang with news that it was completed. I drove away and immediately noticed an improvement of the cars characteristics. Before, you could slightly tell the transmission was shifting gears. It wasnt having troubles but I suspected a former dealership didnt perform a major service at 50k but charged me for it (I can fix my own cars, timing is calculated and I got the car back in 30 minutes which should have taken at minimum 1 hour) in which VW Puyallup actually DID the service.*Mind-blown and excited* Now the only way to tell its shifting gears is to watch the Tachometer rise and fall. Velvety smooth!My car will only come here for service, I trust and support you guys!Thank You Immensely to the entire service Force!::Roll the closing credits out like Star Wars opening crawl::

Harman helped me find the vehicle that fight me personally an stayed in my budget an had a blast watching me struggle to drive my new car. Their service department quite frankly the rudest experience today. We always take our VW to this dealership for service, but will no longer or purchase new car in future. They could not schedule an appointment in less than two weeks for urgent situation and then treat us as if our business is not needed. Poor customer service at its finest.

The service department at Volkswagen of Puyallup did an excellent job fixing my 2007 Audi A4. I had an airbag issue in the drivers seat of my car which was way above my comfort level to fix. They replaced the bad airbag in a few hours and managed to do it without any sign that there was ever an issue.

They have nice customer service skills and great servicing skills. Melinda was especially very helpful and friendly. My Passat needed a new clutch and flywheel as well as a timing belt, water pump and thermostat. All this work was done professionally at this location and they gave me a loaner car. Their cost was quite reasonable. They went an extra mile for me and fixed a few other issues at no cost; They fixed my non-working horn, non-working interior light and bad wheel bearings.

I have had really good service through Volkswagen until I went to this location. I was advised to get an unnecessary alignment and was told, after I was charged, to just get a check the next time. I was also told that they no longer do car washes so I was sent to an off-site car wash with a voucher. This car wash broke my side mirror and when I called Volkswagen Puyallup about it, I was told tough luck. I am very disappointed in how I have been treated as a customer at this location and feel disrespected by the service department. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

From the moment I drove up to Volkswagen of Puyallup, I noticed several employees on the way outside wearing the biggest smiles on their faces and this gave me a good sense that they must really enjoy working here!As I walked into the Service Department, I felt extremely welcomed, once again, with big warm smiles and an eagerness to help me, from Service Advisor Jennifer, Service Advisor Melinda and the Service Manager Ian. To top this experience off, the best mechanic of all “EILEEN” works here too!When I returned to pick up my car, Jennifer saw me arriving and opened the door for me and both her and Eileen explained in detail the work that was preformed on my Tiguan. Not only did they explain the work done, but they also took pictures in steps, to give a visual to a better understanding of the repairs.There is no doubt in my mind that Volkswagen of Puyallup is and will be my go to place from now on, when Im in need of car service or when looking for a new vehicle.Thank you all so much, for giving me the peace of mind, I have been looking for!!!

Service department will rip off the unsuspecting patron. Took my car in for warranty work and an oil change. Along with a few other things, I was told my brakes and drive belt needed replaced to a sum of $700. The mechanic wrote that my brake pads were 1-2mm and needed replaced immediately. I replaced the belt and brakes and neither needed it. They blatantly lied about my brakes. all brakes had 5-6mm left (approx 40-50% life).I complained and just got an arrogant manager that basically said the belt may not look like it needs replaced, but it does. Then said they never told me I needed to replace my brakes and i was probably reading the wrong inspection. I had to send him the email from the service department with quotes to prove it. Then he wanted proof of the brake pad discrepancy. So, I picked brake pads out of the garbage and delivered them. NEVER got a thanks for taking time to bring them in or sorry about lying and trying to steal money from you. I filled out a survey with my disappointment and the manager referenced above said he closed it out as resolved. RESOLVED BECAUSE THEY DID NOTHING EXCEPT DISH OUT EXCUSES?? I expected nothing but an apology!Worse all around experience, with a company, Ive had in a long time.

My wife was driving an unsafe vehicle for months because they couldnt diagnose a faulty fuel pump until her 3rd visit. Driving with a broken fuel pump is a severe safety risk and their negligence put my wifes life in danger. DO NOT go here if you consider car issues a severe safety concern!

I was having car problems, what started as what i believed was an oil change ended up being a major service repair I was actually needing and Puyallup VW took care of me and made sure my car was getting fixed and also made sure I had something to drive in the meantime. There was no waiting and the price of everything was very reasonable. They kept me informed the entire way through. I have my car back now and I am very pleased with how I was treated. These guys are very pleasant and helpful and I will definitely be doing my regular services here. Special shout out to the technicians, Melinda and Ian in service. This is a relatively new dealership with a mix of experienced staff, mainly from other dealerships. Several people were attracted to the opportunity to enjoy a promotion and the staff seems to do a good job overall.My sales experience was OK, with a knowledgeable sales person who was perfectly willing to let me pay as much as he could get for the car. Hey, thats his job people! So, no complaints here as I cant say he did anything under-handed or wrong.My service experience with a different vehicle was much less satisfactory. The car was returned to me dripping oil and required a second visit for the techs to mop up. I thought this indicated a poor performance on their part as the car had been serviced specifically to fix a significant oil leak. They really should have taken the time to clean up when the seals replacement work was performed.They also recommended performing a certain repair for nearly $2,500. When I questioned this, the price dropped to about half, based on using an aftermarket part. I declined to have the work done.The day after picking up the car I was able to confirm that the recommended work was not necessary. I was able to repair the actual problem by replacing a different part which cost less than $50 and only required about fifteen minutes of work to install. The car has since been driven over 1,000 miles with no check-engine-light and no stored fault-codes. Mistakes can happen. I just hope that it was nothing worse than that.

I wanted a spare key for my VW Jetta, after no responses from local VW stores I tried VW Puyallup. Immediate responses, accurate info and flexibility in appointment. Showed up on the day - great friendly service (Steve was Parts - forget the super friendly service writers name) they checked in to tell us progress and even gave the car a bath. Switching my service to Puyallup VW. Its a longer drive but 100% worth it.

I worked with Seva who was kind, professional. and helpful at all times and made the process of buying my traded in 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid a smooth stressless experience.They took my older vehicle that no other dealership would take and gave me some money for it. They fully inspected the vehicle and made sure there werent any issues, and replaced everything that needed to be replaced before I drove off the lot. While they were replacing the tires, cabin air filter, air filter, and wipers, they fully detailed the vehicle. They also gave me a loaner car to drive in the interim at no extra cost.My experience with Volkswagen of Puyallup greatly contrasts my experience at the seven other dealerships I visited. Those salesman swore openly, lied about their vehicles, would not give me a fair deal, would try to change the terms of a deal on me, or would try to nickel-and-dime me and waste my time. Tl;dr: three issues:* Dishonesty (not your typical car dealership salesman type)* Blatant disregard for customer decisions* Lack of care for customersFeel free to read the details below.Lets start with dishonesty. I purchased a car in Sept 2017 from this dealer, my sales rep was Ed (and he was awesome), the general manager Says on the other hand was quite a character. Let me backup a little and give some context. The car was a 2014 Audi RS5 (with 28k miles), not exactly typical for Volkswagen to sell, I find out that Says is actually selling this car for his friend through the dealership. I purchased the car and after being told on multiple occasions that it had never been in an accident (Ed likely did not know because the carfax was clean), I learned that it had in fact been in an accident as confirmed by Says friend, the actual owner of the car.Jumping into blatant disregard for someones decision and quite frankly insulting behavior. During the financing process, Thomas (the finance manager) asked if I was interested in purchasing GAP insurance, to which I respectfully declined. His response no problem, I like to do things right the first time, but whatever youd like. I was floored.My final point, lack of urgency or care for customers. Over the last year and some change, Ive dealt with dozens of problems with the car. I fortunately purchased an extended warranty (which is awesome and has taken care of all issues). Since dealing with approximately 15 problems and the car spending most of its life at the Audi dealership, I decided it was time to sell. Ive since sold the car and have requested a refund for my warranty (as youre allowed to do since the car was sold before the lapsed time period). I am now more than two months into waiting for my refund check and have left voicemails and messages - no response. Thomas/Finance team, I would still appreciate a call. Follow-up, I spoke with Laura and she stated that the paperwork was not filed. She seemed on top of it and apologized and would like me to process it again.Long story short, Im having to spend 15 minutes of my time to write just how disappointed I am in a dealership that prides itself in customer service.
