Called the dealership looking to do a trade in.Received the pleasure to be speaking to Jim Triggs.Brought a trail boss down before I even arrived looked at not the correct size for me informed me one was being shipped to the dealership showed me all the pictures and even showed me one that was very similar to what I was getting. Very helpful the whole time when I was out of state for work sent me all the papers and pictures I ask for over 2 months even held it at dealership till I came back very helpful the whole time all ways got the information I needed 5/5 would recommend to a friend Jim Triggs doesnt play games and is honest.
I never write reviews but after my experience with this place, I felt it was worth it. This was my first time financing a car and I have no credit. So you can imagine how stressful this experience could be. If you want a good experience financing a car I HIGHLY suggest coming here and speaking with Ryan Watson, the finance manager. This man was up front, straightforward, communicative, and very attentive to to me during the whole process. He even went above and beyond running all over the parking garage/lot looking for the best deal for me. All and all the experience couldve been much more stressful but thanks to Ryan, I didnt have to worry so much and now Im riding around in a beautiful Mazda6.
(Update)I was also told my Engine Oil Cooler lines were leaking. Quoted $575, but I reminded the service advisor this should be covered under my Powertrain Warranty, which they confirmed was true. Since my experience with Puyallup was terrible, I decided to drive 45mins to Evergreen Chev and have them fix the “leaks.” They raised the truck, took off the skid plate and found NO FLUID LEAKS. They sent photographs of the oil/cooler lines via text (see attached photos). I dont know what Chevy of Puyallup is doing, but I wouldnt trust their Service Department or any recommendation they provide. I contacted Keith, the General Manager, about the situation and I asked to be compensated for my time. The only answer from him was to bring my truck back so they can take another look under the hood. At first, I agreed, but after a few days I decided I wasnt comfortable with that. Since then, I emailed the GM and provided pictures, text screenshots and the invoice from Evergreen Chev showing an MPVI was completed. I explained via email there should be no need for another tech to look over my truck when texts, pictures and an invoice, with an MPVI from another certified dealership, was provided. The GM has not responded to my last email and at this point, regardless if the dealership does anything or eventually decides to respond to my email, Ill be filing a consumer complaint with WA state. It is not about the money, it’s the principal. If a business is acting with honesty and integrity then these types of problems should not happen.(Initial review)1st time customer. Moved to the area and was looking for a new dealership for service. I have a service contract and when I made the appointment the receptionist assured me the Service Advisor would be able to figure out how to submit a claim, etc. Well, the advisor was not willing to wait on hold. They tried, but consistently gave up due to hold times. So, I asked them to submit a claim through the website. The claim was denied. I called the company (waited on hold, but got through to representive) and found out the submission was missing crucial information, which is why the claim was denied. It should have been approved. I asked Brianna (Service Advisor) to call the company and she refused. Regardless of how many times I said it was a mistake, she would not call the company saying we cant spend this much time on the phone. Ended up paying for everything out-of-pocket and had to submit a claim for reimbursement. Sent an email to the GM and Service Manager about this experience and crickets, no response and no resolution. Hope the Harnish family/ownership looks into the Service Dept because it needs help onboarding new customers who have existing Service Contracts. Especially, when the contract is accepted at EVERY Chevy Dealership. Image how much money this dealership has lost because of a Service Advisors unwillingness to trouble shoot a Service contract issue.
This was my first experience buying a car online without seeing it first in person. My wife was looking for a very specific certified used GMC Terrain and we finally found it online at Chevrolet of Puyallup. Nick and Ken made car buying a great experience despite stressful circumstances! My old car had just broken and I needed to get a new one ASAP with a strict budget. I went to another dealership first (that was a mistake) and they did nothing to work with me to find a car in my budget. Then I came here, already flustered to find out the car I had been interested in had just sold, but Ken assured me they would find me something and Nick was awesome, finding me another car that I hadnt even considered. The car was a good deal and I feel very satisfied with my purchase, it rides like a dream! Nick was SO patient with me, even when I was having difficulty with my bank and felt so bad he had to wait around while I was on hold trying to sort my end of things out. But he was nothing but gracious. My family and I will definitely be coming back here in the future when its time to get a new car. I was helped by a salesperson, Reggie. He came in on his day off to help me. I showed up 15 min before the dealership opened and a manager was out making sure I was being helped, even though it was raining and he was in a short sleeve. We Weren’t able to make a deal happen yet, but i would highly recommend both Reggie and the dealership in general.

Whats the point in having a scheduled appointment when the claim for warranty isnt sent in till 4 days after the appointment. Only get reimbursed for 5 days for a rental. Thanks to this company. It is now past 5 days and vehicle still hasnt been touched

I bought my forester from here in June 2019. For some reason the mirrors keep turning dark blue when it’s hot out and becoming covered in hairline fractures that completely obscure the view. I had them replaced at my own personal cost, and the new ones immediately had the same issue within a week. I called the dealership for advice and they made an appointment for me to have them “take a look”. After driving over an hour, they informed me they could not “take a look” at what would be causing the issue without paying a $130 diagnostic fee. Why would they not tell me that on the phone!? They refused to look at the issue without paying $130, even though that’s virtually the entire cost of brand new mirrors. I am extremely dissatisfied with this situation.
The service I received was prompt, professional and personable. I did not feel the pressure to buy now so often pushed at dealerships. All my technical questions were answered with appropriate detail. It was a hassle free experience, one of my best in buying a car. Salesman Reggie Foster was absolutely delightful to work with.
Once again, Chevrolet of Puyallup does not disappoint! I bought a 2021 Silverado 1500 LT Trail Boss Crew Cab, an upgrade from my 2020 Silverado 1500 Custom Trail Boss Double Cab. I had to upgrade because I adopted a 4.5-year-old Alaskan Malamute; I needed the extra room a crew cab provides.Anyways, I digress; although I had a different Sales & Leasing Consultant this time around, Jason Young was tremendous. He answered all my questions. Jason and the Sales Manager, Dean Reilley, found all of the rebates and discounts available. Dean worked with me last year, and he was as phenomenal then as he was this year again. Another big hitter that I had the pleasure of working with is Billie Langford; she was my Finance Officer last year and again this year. Billie is excellent at explaining everything you are getting into with your purchase simply and efficiently, so you are not in an office signing paperwork like a zombie all day. GM employees BEWARE!Clearly this dealership is out for your money and that is it. My GM employee discount was refused. Apparently it is more important to get the full commission then it is to ensure customer satisfaction and safety. As a GM employee daughter, it is very sad that I must take my business to Toyota.Regardless of any other crisis, shortage or recession my family has never experienced a dealership actually refuse our discount.

This place might be fine if you are just looking to buy. But be prepared if you have to use the service department they leave your interior looking like they put toddlers in there with sharp screw drivers to poke around. I dont care if they vacuum it or not but there is no reason to lie and say they did. The young guy that brought my vehicle to the front was definitely driving it like he stole it for a joy ride. Not respectful (or safe) Hopefully they make it right. Ill be sure to update my online reviews accordingly.....
Absolutely horrible experience. This dealership refused to honor (or even come close to honoring) my military TrueCar offer and lowballed me for my trade by a margin of $4,000. I get that its a hot market right now, but treating people like this is an unacceptable way of doing business. Highly recommend against using this dealership, and dont count on them honoring third-party generated offers.
I have purchased many cars in my life and I must say I have never had a dealership go above and beyond as much as the sales and finance department did with my recent purchase. Doug, Bill, Billie and Angeles worked tirelessly in putting a deal together that my wife and I felt was fair and decent.
The salesman will manipulate you to make it seem the car you’re wanting is still available, only to tell you about the other options they have. Wouldnt go to this lot. Dirty business. Liars. They paired us with the only black salesmen on the entire facility out of all the others, yes we’re black but that doesn’t mean we can’t communicate with the other salesman. Overall weird experience.

Upon calling to confirm my appt with the service dept since we live over an hour away our appt wasnt even in their system. Then I was told our product was damaged and we would have to come back once installed have repaired since the repair man was on vacation. I asked for a pic. After a few hours I was told my mirrors couldnt be found. Had I not asked for a pic I would have shown up to appt and there would have been no mirrors for my truck. After a day of searching i was then informed they had missed quoted the labor cost for installation and it was gonna cost me 3x as much and wait even long as they had to reorder the product they had lost. I had called 2x to make sure I was being quoted the correct labor and product pricing. They even sent me the final price through message. Very unprofessional and will not not do business here again

I would not suggest chevrolet puyallup. they were trying to sell me a 2014 overpriced suv with high miles and were asking way to much for a down-payment and the finance lady was talking to me like I was dumb and this vehicle for this price was the best they can do and was straight up disrespectful. I went to auburn chevrolet and they were all respectful and professional. the sales person was good not only to me but to my family and every single person treated us good and we walked out of there with a 2021 chevy equinox with no miles. also puyallup chevrolet ran our credit through like 7 credit inquiry and were still getting rejection letters and its been 3 weeks now I would highly suggest not going through puyallup chevrolet.

I literally just received the best service there is in car business. I was first passionately greeted by Issac, which also spoke to me as I was leaving as well with such great hospitality. My dealer was Troy, this guy was amazing. He was cool, not all up tight like most dealers, but honestly just trying to help. Just a real genuine guy, very laid back and passionate! This is the stuff I like when dealing with customer service man! Then I was brought over to Ryan in finance. Ok, this guy topped it all. Not only was he going above and beyond, he was motivating me and giving me wisdom and motivational words that really sat place in my heart. It wasn’t just a business deal, it was real, it was humble, it was more than a hand shake and business-I love when people treat customers like they have been knowing them for life. That to me is the best customer service ! I felt comfortable, I didn’t feel out of place, it was the best experience I have experienced in customer service in a long time ! I wasn’t even able to leave with a new car unfortunately, but my experience and time with them was just so great that I had to come here for an review. We went to Chevy of Puyallup just to get an oil change for my 2016 Chevy Silverado which I also bought there brand new and ended up buying a 2019 Subaru Forester from Juan in sales and Mike in finance. This would be my 3rd vehicle that Mike in finance has helped my family purchase. Mike has always gone out of his way to make my family and I feel at ease when making such big purchases. Being a retired veteran with a set income, mike has always made sure that the payments were within my family’s means and that the payments won’t put us in any financial bind. I recommend Chevy of Puyallup to anyone and everyone who wants a great vehicle from a good honest dealership! I usually put good reviews but, I have to put this out to warn other buyers!I purchased my 2021 Chevy silverado 1500 with them & few months later I decided that I wanna trade & buy a new chevy 3500, the sales person was nice, Juan & Ken, but as soon as their manager told me the trade in value of my 2021 chevy is only $36k which I spent about almost 5k on improvements, to me that was an insult especially on a hot market & he tries to come up with bunch of nonsense excuse. But other chevy dealership are offering me 6k more. Question is what makes them so special that they are offering way less, I think thats a rip off. Ill just buy at sunset Chevrolet since they offered me way more & they also have lifetime warranty & lifetime oil change. If youre buying & wanna trade in your car I recommend to go somewhere else, since they are usually 5k lower than other chevy dealership.

My story is all too familiar, no customer service AFTER the sale, no communication, and all the same issues.I’m writing this as I sit at the dealership waiting to talk to Kieth the general manager, who will not see me. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. Even when they were a Lincoln Mercury store. I bought a new 2016 Silverado ltz duramax from them and it has been a great truck. I’m in the market for a new one. They offered me $5000 less for my truck than Larson Dodge offered me and are trying to sell their vehicle for $2000 over sticker. I have called 5 times and left messages for Keith to find out what is going on. No return phone calls for three weeks.I’m here now getting my truck serviced and he wants to cook a BBQ instead of talking to me. This is ABSOLUTLY a putrid situation. They have lost their customer service which was very good in the years past.Not sure how they can continue in business by not taking care of repeat customers. But judging that their lot is full of cars and Korum is empty speaks volumes.You lost a two decade customer over your greed and lack of caring about your customers. I truly hope Shannon the owner reads this and wonders what is going on? Then again maybe she does not care either.Also people complaining about the damage in the service department, absolutely, I still have a scratch on my windshield where the tech put his laptop and scraped on the inside. Of course they said, it didn’t happen there.Stress free buying? I think not. Shop elsewhere.

I found the car I wanted through thier website on a Friday and was able to test drive and get approved that following Saturday it was very quick and painless. I love the Chevy trax I bought. I was given an estimate of time to replace the 3rd tail light. This is a Buick dealership and my car is a 2012, so its not like they have no experience. They underestimated what the book said on time. Of course, I was charged the additional time. How do I even know they spent the entire 2 12 hours I waited actually working on my car? I dont.

Have now had 3 instances with the service department here at (COP). Last instance resulted in damage of my vehicle which they decline responsibility of and I am now forced to repair it on my own out of pocket. I have purchased 3 vehicles from this location and serviced 4 vehicles over the years. I have had negative occurrences on 3 of the 4 vehicles serviced over the years. The recent damage to my vehicle leaves me no alternative but to move my business elsewhere. The purchase experience being good does not make up for the poor treatment of my purchased vehicles after the fact. I will be doing no further business with COP or the Harnish auto family going forward. I would not recommend or trust the service team here at COP to anyone that takes pride in their automobile.
They are not pushy there at all. We bought a 2020 GMC Acadia. John, Our sales guy spent as much time with us as we needed. We were originally looking at the Traverse and Enclave, but decided we liked the Acadia. He was very informative and proud to share about the company and family values. At the signing, they worked with us until we looked what we saw. That was very nice as well.
Tiana and Juan worked together to make sure my deal was complete before I made the drive from Eastern, WA. This was the easiest purchase I ever made! I was very excited to get the warranty for life on my new car!!!
Isaac the BEST sales guy ever! He was friendly, professional, and emulated the Aloha spirit! No pressure or hustling at all. I came looking to trade my truck for a new one. He recommended just the right truck. Left a happy customer with my new ride. It was a joy working with Isaac and would recommend him to all our family and friends seeking a new ride. You won’t be disappointed. Mahalo for making this process smooth & easy! As for the Finance department, it was smooth sailing until I got home and realized I was missing some important documents such as service contracts. Recommend to check and re-check everything you sign before leaving and don’t feel like you need to be rushed out! Still gave these guys a 5-star because they resolveod the issue the next day. Other than that the process was pretty efficient.
Overall service experience was fine. The service tech was great with communication during my service. What I don’t appreciate is making me go through all sorts of online coupons in order to find the “one” that works for my type of service. If you know I consistently go to the same place and I’m a loyal customer, just give me the benefit of whatever coupon is out there so I don’t have to do all the work and ultimately feel cheated. It’s just a pain and seems like a way to easily make your loyal customers feel appreciated.
Troy Anderson did a great job figuring out my wants and needs. He was patient, shared several options, and gave me honest information. The finance team did wonderful offering several affordable programs for me to choose from. Will love the free oil changes. Overall, this was an exceptional experience. I highly recommend.
Juan was great to deal with. I found the truck I was looking for online and contacted Juan. He bent over backwards to help answer some very picky questions about the truck, as I tried to decide on making an offer from over 500 miles away. We quickly determined this was the truck we wanted and Juan came in on his day off to help me seal the deal so I could get there the next day and pick it up. When I arrived, the truck was better than expected and I am extremely happy with the service I received from Juan and the team at Chevrolet Buick GMC of Puyallup. Thank you!

Thank you to the parts department for the help on a 07 chevy avalanche. They were able to supply with the information on torque specs that I could not find online or in a mechanic forum site. They had a metric bolt in stock for a oil pan that other dealership around puyallup area do not keep in stock and only special order. THANK YOU AGAIN.

I went in to purchase a car under unusual circumstances and explained to Ryan Watson what I wanted and what I wanted my monthly payments to be. Ryan was very polite and helpful. He explained everything in detail. We were able to get me out of there in my new car in just a few hours with my payments being within my monthly requirements. I would recommend Chevrolet, Buick, GMC to anyone. Ryan Watson did a fantastic job.

My husband and I were looking for a car pretty quick since our old one was wrecked in an accident. The day after the car mishap, we called these folks to see if we could come in to test drive one of their cars the same day. I spoke with Khrysten on the phone, who was very pleasant and happily scheduled an afternoon appointment. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly and attentive staff. They connected us with Joe, one of their sales and leasing consultants.Joe was awesome. He was not only genuinely friendly and eager to help, but honest. We had some tricky questions during our test drive with him, which he was able to help answer when we got back to the office. Because my husband and I were keen on doing our research for the best deal out there, we were transparent and said we would look at another offer we were considering elsewhere but may return. At the end of the day, we came back to the Chevrolet Buick of Puyallup because they really did have the best deal, and, service.Throughout the whole process, even us walking out after test driving our future car, the staff were super nice and supportive in our decision. They made the whole process very easy for us (from test driving to signing off financing) and actually an enjoyable one - Joe was especially great, and even took a picture of us by our new car before we headed home. I would highly recommend coming here for anyone looking for great deals and almost as equally important great service.
My husband and I have taken our vehicles here for service for years and have spent thousands of dollars. More recently we took my 2016 Yukon in for a brake recall. When we picked it up there was a clicking in the steering. My husband didnt realize it when he picked it up from the recall repair. I took it back the next day for them to diagnose. They told me they would order the parts and work with All State (my extended warranty). After my service rep successfully dodged my calls for 3 weeks I called and left messages for the service manager who also never returned my calls. Out of curiosity I called All State and lo and behold they never called in the repair for my steering column. I guess these people have no problem taking your money as long as you pay cash but dont ask them to go above an beyond like dealing with your extended warranty. Luckily there are plenty of other GM dealerships in the area who have no problem going above and beyond for their customers. Really disappointing too because my husband is in the market for a new truck.
Sales guy was friendly and I had a good experience until after I left the dealership. Paperwork wasn’t filled out correctly by sales guy twice so my husband and I had to come back in. Also still missing license plates.We had requested that they be picked up at dealership but was instead mailed to our home and USPS would not deliver it because a fee is required to deliver. Called the dealership twice to find out where the plates are as USPS can’t find them. Dealership never called us back. Very disappointing customer service.
Jim Triggs did a very thorough job of demonstrating my new 2020 Denali Sierra pickup truck. He was very knowledgeable about all the features. Any question I had that he didnt have an answer for he got help and then was able to explain to me answers to all my questions. Scott, his sales manager, also did a very good job of treating me with respect and did not waste a lot of time in difficult negotiations. Showing me the service area was an additional bonus! Definitely a five star experience!

I want to thank Mike for helping me purchase my first new car. He treated me like I was a family member, ensuring I got the best of care. He was very patient and answered all my questions and helped me with On Star set up. I am a single mom with two kids and he made sure they were included in the excitement of the new car. They had free snacks and hot cocoa/coffee available to us. I appreciate that there was no pressure in accepting any offers. I was the boss of what I wanted to get and what I didnt want. Kim was also great in helping with explaining all the paperwork and package included with my sale. She was super friendly and made sure I understood everything before signing anything.
