Went for the first time. It was very interesting. I love all the unique flavors. In the end I got the GOAT flavor that’s goat milk based with almonds, blackberry lemon jam and rosemary. It was surprisingly good. Reminded me of cheesecake. I also had the honeycomb flavor. It was good, but not as good as the GOAT. My only complaint was no water cups. Yes they sell water bottles and yes there is a very warm drinking fountain in the hall outside, but after paying $4 for 1 scoop of ice cream, I think a .05 cent cup of water is in order.

This is a fun ice cream place with lots of unique homemade flavors. We enjoyed the family feel of the place. All of the staff was very friendly. The ice cream scoops are super generous. We got the three scoop for three of us and we really weren’t able to finish it. You can tell they make the ice cream because you get things like giant bites of peanut butter (not delicious in that quantity, but not complaining bc it’s house made). For me, I would probably stick with no more than one scoop because it just gets to be too much too sweet too rich and I felt pretty overwhelmed by the time we finished it. Not sure if that’s bc of the ice cream taste, quality or quantity.

Have you ever had the Honeycomb ice cream here? The creaminess, the crunch of the honeycomb, the merging of these two textures just pop. We shared a bowl of two scoops honeycomb and 1 scoop strawberry. Anytime we are in Provo, we will have to go to Rockwells for their ice cream. There are so many ice cream shops around but this by far is our favorite for their pure quality. Wish they had one in Davis county (hint, hint, wink, wink).

Amazingly delicious ice cream!!! Wow! Everytime I have to try several flavors.... But I almost always get the Honeycomb...I cant even describe how sublime that ice cream flavor is.... Just .... Incredible. Plus each time Ive been there the service is great --just really friendly and quick 😊

I just tried the fall seasonal flavors today and the Ghost in the Graveyard is incredible. Their ice cream is served at the perfect temperature.Had a great experience today because of Nick scooping behind the counter! He was very friendly.

This place never fails to please. I love how they experiment with different flavors and allow you to try before you commit. Generous helpings and pure ingredients. A fun place for a date or the whole family. The decor is fun and adds to the experience.

I like that you can get two flavors with the single scoop! The potion is pretty big though, I wish they had one size smaller.The biscoff and honeycomb flavors were tasty. I just wish the flavors were a bit stronger.

Ive been coming here since it opened, and it never disappoints. I bring visitors, roommates, friends, everybody here, and they all love it. Simply the best.

Seems like a local hangout for the college kids but staff was nice and the ice cream was good. The waffle cone was a little bit soft towards the bottom.

Good ice cream with some interesting twists to classic flavors. Some of our ice cream on this trip and a previous one had a slightly freezer burned texture (although it didnt stop anyone from eating it). Flavors are rich and I was glad I didnt get a double. It gets a little crowded in the small seating area in the evenings, so you may want to take yours to go.

Friendly service. Ice cream tastes excellent. We had honeycomb (9), brown butter pecan (8), and muddy buddy (7).I dont think I will ever get used to the crazy prices for ice cream shops these days though.

Love this place so much it’s worth driving down from Salt Lake just to get ice cream at here. The lavender honey was amazing and unique. They make real flavors so don’t be surprised when your mint icecream tastes like your mint plant. That’s real flavor. So don’t get disappointed when you taste the real thing. The cookies are amazing too. Great quality and great employees. I’m amazed by the student workers here.

The best ice cream in Provo. No contest. I came here for the first time on my first date with my wife. Years later, we are still regular customers. Quality ice cream, great flavors. The GOAT and Muddy Buddy are a couple of our favorites, but everything they make is delicious.

The ice cream here is delicious although a bit on the pricey side. Honeycomb is unique & one of my favorites. Its hard to get a seat at a table here though, because its steadily busy throughout the week, (& more on weekends). They try to space the tables out, but there isnt a lot of room because its a smaller room. Sometimes its easier to get your ice cream & leave, but you some days you can get lucky & catch a table between groups who are leaving & coming.

Weve been trying different handcrafted ice cream in the area. The place was busy the afternoon we visited, the employees nice, the ice cream was good, but not the best weve tried. The prices are a little higher than others weve tried, but Im sure the high rent district plays into that. Still a fun shop to try when in old Provo City.

I love the muddy buddy ice cream here! It is so thick and creamy and layered with peanut butter and plenty of muddy buddies. This is what the meaning of dessert is! There is always a line outside even during corona I guess that tells you it’s worth the risk!

Rockwell is truly the most unique, quality ice cream shop Ive found in the Provo/Utah area. It doesnt matter if its a basic scoop of cookies & cream or the legendary kumquat sorbet--the flavor will be just right, the ice cream will be quality, and the mix-ins will be the perfect amount.Plus, they have the kindest workers! I ran in one night to pick up a pint before surgery and mentioned it to the worker. She wrote a cute note on the pint, so whenever I took it out post surgery, I saw her encouraging note.

Much like lots of shops along this road, the front of Rockwell ice cream has a neat vintage look and style to it. The style carried somewhat to the interiors. But that aside the flavors of ice cream and cones were awesome. They had an interesting selection with flavors like muddy buddy and honey comb (pictured below.) The flavors are complex and interesting. The honey comb was sweet but had a bitter nuttiness to it as well. The serving size was good for how much it cost. Overall I was impressed with the quality and would return to try some of their seasonal flavors.

Thought I had a negative interaction with these guys on social media, but it turned out to be a hacker and not at all their fault. Went in to try some ice cream and it was quite delicious, super rich and creamy. I tried the honeycomb and the GOAT which won best ice cream in the USA a few years ago. Everything is homemade, even the waffle cones!

Absolutely Incredible ice cream, the best we have ever had. High butterfat so its creamy and they are very generous with the mix ins. We are hooked on the Rockwell Road and Honeycomb.

Great handmade ice cream. The best ice cream in Provo in my opinion. Usually long lines because of that, but worth the wait. Not your typical flavors either, so you have to be a little adventurous. Flavors like blueberry basil brittle. But there are enough varieties anyone should find something that sounds good. And they let you try generous samples to help you decide.

Wow talk about scrummy ice cream. This place has fantastic flavor combinations. Its probably a good thing they arent closer to home or I would be going there more often and adding to my waist line. 😉😁

Audrey was wicked helpful! This was my first time coming to Rockwell, and she was welcoming, energetic, and kind. As you can see in my picture, she helped me sample many favors and let me taste the divine graham cracker sauce. The ice cream was DELICIOUS. The service was sublime. Am I coming back? 100% yes.

Ive been going to Rockwell for 3 years now and I have always had great experiences there! I recommend it to everyone I know because the employees are always helpful and the ice cream is top tier. The honeycomb is absolutely to die for, but there are so many fun small batch and monthly specials too. Its always worth keeping up with them on social media so I can know when there are fun, new flavors to try.

This is by far the best ice cream place in Provo. But not the cheapest! There are still other great places with a slimmer price. But at Rockwell you really pay for the quality. Recently I tried their new blueberry rapture flavor. I would have never put those flavors together:cinnamon, basil, blueberry, oat brittle. But WOW. honestly my new favorite ice cream flavor... Ever.

I absolutely love the honey comb ice cream. My wife and I love to come visit here with friends. The ice cream is high quality and pretty dense. The flavors are varied and strong and with some like their G.O.A.T. are complex. Would highly recommend.

I love this place! I always get the same thing when I go. Their muddy buddy ice cream is AMAZING. They dont have a huge variety of flavors, but Im sure there is something for everyone. They are always coming out with limited time flavors which is cool.

I sadly wasn’t too impressed with this place. I’ve heard amazing things but I guess I ordered the wrong thing. I got the Biscoff and my husband got the Muddy Buddy flavor. We both agreed that there was too much cookie or “chunk” and hardly any ice cream. I felt like I was just licking Biscoff cookies. We both couldn’t finish our ice cream and threw them away 😬 I did ask for a sample of the Honey ice cream afterwards because I’ve heard that ones good, and it was in fact really good! I’ll order that next time and update my review

We tried Rockwell ice cream for the first time yesterday. After sampling the biscoff and the G.O.A.T. flavors served to us in adorable silver spoons, I chose the G.O.A.T. and my husband chose the biscoff. The flavors were amazing! My husband liked his fresh, soft waffle cone, and we appreciated that the ice cream wasn’t too sweet. Rockwell ice cream is very thick and rich, a bit too rich for both of us and not worth the hype. I’m sticking with Farr and BYU Creamery ice cream, but Rockwell was a fun experience.

Rockwell Ice Cream Co. makes one of the best American Style Ice Cream in Utah. I love the Rockwell Road and the Biscoff flavors. It is appreciated that they make the waffle cones in store. The Vintage setup of the shop matches with the building environment which makes a great experience to walk inside of the building as well. Sometimes the servings size vary too much between employee to employee. Some employees serve a really good amount of Ice Cream in the scoop and some others a relative small amount of Ice Cream. It is great that we can taste the flavors before ordering. I like that this business is not afraid of closing late.

High quality ice cream in a wide variety of custom and standard flavors. Always a must stop when we are near the location.

Not sure what all the hype is about. Plan to wait as it is very busy. Ice cream was good but not amazing. I had the salted chocolate and scoop of smores. Service is very friendly and patient. We went around 8pm and they were sold out of everything I really wanted such as honeycomb.

Ice cream here is super thick, sweet and creamy. Ice cream is my favorite food- and this is my favorite place to get it!!! It’s usually busy on the weekends (but that means it’s good just saying....) Comparable in texture to cold stone, but definitely yummier with more unique flavor options. (fyi biscoff is SUPER YUM)

My husband and I stumbled onto this place a free years ago when it was new. It is a GEM! They have SO many delicious flavors that are unlike any other place you’ve been. A few of our favs include the muddy buddy, Rockwell road, burnt butter pecan, and cookie dough. We’ve taken lots of people there and everyone has loved it! We don’t live in Utah anymore and miss it hardcore, but we try to make a point to stop here when passing through. If you love ice cream, do yourself a HUGE favor and go here! Good assortment of some delicious ice creams. A little popular and can be hard to find a seat at times. Had the goat it was good but about half through the flavor was overpowering. The other flavors were more traditional and well made. Clean store with minamalist feel. Friendly staff and easy to find with plenty of parking.

Good ice cream! Found the selection a little limited. I was hoping for something with peanut butter, but closest they had was a muddy buddy flavor. I personally felt that the prices were a little on the expensive side. With that being said, though, the serving size was good. 1 scoop was probably more than your average 1 scoop. Love the pizookies they have! If you dont know what that is, look it up! It is the best combination of cookies and ice cream. The one thing I did find suspicious/odd was the BYU ice cream container in the back room.

Ask for a cone on top of your ice cream in a cup--less messy. If theres no room to sit inside, walk half a block south and enjoy your ice cream in the pristine park on the corner.

Rockwell has AWESOME flavors and awesome customer service! It is a little pricy (granted Im a poor college student with a tight budget), but its ALWAYS worth it. I love their snickerdoodle and GOAT flavors, and theyre always bringing new things to the counter! I also really love their instagram page, they post fun videos and mouthwatering pics! Highly recommend for date nights and spontaneous ice cream runs!

Delicious! The goat ice cream is so different & refreshing, well- deserving of its award. The browned butter pecan is a personal favorite, I love the unique sundaes, and the pretzel cone is the perfect way to indulge in the magic that is salty + sweet! Im not usually a fan of cookie dough and Rockwells is really good. I only have good things to say and would highly recommend a visit!

Rockwell has *HANDS DOWN* the best hand scooped ice cream in Utah and its all made fresh in-house about 20 feet from where you sit to eat it. It’s total worth it and freaking delicious!

Just recently came back for the first time in awhile last weekend and I don’t know if had something with getting COVID and losing my taste this past November but man... I think the ice cream flavor improved! It tasted great and also the employees were super chill. I’m a big fan of the pizookie here, especially as a Californian it’s great to see this getting more popular out here 🙏🏼
