Normally I enjoy subzero and their unique way to do a frozen treat. However today I just wanted to leave. The person helping us was nice but did not put any gloves on when touching everything even the register. That wasnt the only thing that had me wondering if I should even eat the ice cream I was getting, he kept flipping his hair around, as well as drooping it down towards the ice cream he was working on. No hair nets, no gloves, I guess I should be happy he had a mask on.Not happy. Not happy at all.

Awesome ice cream place. We like to save dessert for here instead of at whatever restaurant were eating at. Fun to watch, even more fun to eat. Lots of options like full fat or low fat base, tons of flavors and mix ins. Some locations even have dragons breath.

Sub Zero is always a treat. We like to come here every so often. Our last visit in particular was very cool. Not only was the service and ice cream delicious, but the staff turned the visit into a learning experience.My wife was not familiar with liquid nitrogen. All she had to do was show a little interest and the staff started showing her some neat stuff with it, let her video the experience, and explained each step and how it worked. We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend taking children here. Its a science lesson and a treat rolled into one!

My friend and I came to this location from Pleasant Grove and it was closed! We got there at 6:45pm and they aren’t suppose to close until 10pm. The lights were on inside, signs were up, but the gate was down so no one could come in. Super disappointed because we came to the mall for Sub Zero.

Ive almost always had a problem when Ive visited, and I dont think Ill be back after this. They are usually out of at least one thing I want, and theres never more than one employee working despite a steady stream of customers. Their sizes are smaller and slightly more pricey than other Sub Zero locations Ive been to. The large I ordered was comparable to a childs scoop anywhere else, but only at this location. I get roughly three times as much ice cream when ordering the same size at Center Street and spend less money for a Sensation there than for a plain old base and one topping of the same size here. Save yourself the hassle and drive the twelve blocks to Center Street. I love Sub Zero, but this location stinks.

My husband is vegan and so he loves coming here, since he can select a vegan base and have any flavor that he wants.As fun as it is to watch them create ice cream out of liquid, I still prefer normal ice cream. However this is a fun experience that has to be tried at least once.

What a horrible experience. My husband and I were standing the counter waiting for our order to be taken for a few minutes before two employee, who were sitting in a back room talking, finally came and helped us. We ordered smalls and when we received our ice cream it was half melted and the cup was only filled halfway with ice cream. The employees didn’t say anything when they gave us our ice cream they immediately went into the back room again and started talking. Horrible customer service, a rip off for how little ice cream filled the cup, and such a disappointment that the ice cream was so melted. I usually love sub zero but I’ll never go to this location again. I love and recommend the sub zero in Provo on center street. Much better service, you get ALL the ice cream you paid for and it’s still frozen, not melted.

The girl that helped us did a great job and was very friendly despite the fact that it was late and she was the only only one working and there were a lot of customers.

Depends on who serves you. I have gone when the server is great, entertaining, and move your Ive cream well. I have also gone when it isnt mixed well before frozen. One thing is for sure, the ice cream is always nice and cold. Just make sure to ask them to mix extra well and you should be good

Sub Zero is delicious! We love to go with the kids so they can watch them make it. Yum!

The ice cream is so good! One of my favorite places to go after a dinner date! I do feel like the staff could be a little more outgoing, but they are never rude, just very quite.

This ice cream shop, follows the traditional name of Sub Zero. Though it is tucked away in the western corner of the mall, on the top level. It still offers a cold refreshing ice cream in a scientific way. My only regret is the variation of milk and creams they use to make it. Honestly it has so much more potential with the right culinary touch.

Lauren and Joe were amazing. They got to know us while making some amazing ice cream, and by the time we were leaving we had made two new friends. If youre looking for good ice cream and an amazing experience, come to this place.

I’ve come several times this week and they’ve been closed early, and online the hours say 9pm. Today I got here at 6:15 and they are closed. I never post bad reviews but honestly this is really unprofessional. They could at least post a sign up with their new hours or something. They also are almost always out of a lot of their products, and the customer service is really bad.

Lots of excellent options for someone with a sweet tooth! Ill definitely have to keep this place in mind!

Will not go back to Sub Zero. Saying customer service was bad is an understatement. The college aged employees working there were discussing with customers that their jobs were temporary jobs (seemed as if job wasnt important to them) without care of who was listening. After waiting 15 mins for them to serve their customers, seemed as if they were friends, both employees went to the back without notifying me theyd be back. After a couple mins of waiting again I walked towards where they went into the back room and both employees were on their phones. I called them out asking if they were on break, Im sure they had seen me and my family waiting for some ice cream. They finally helped, only to tell us that they didnt have what we wanted, only reason why I stayed and bought the ice cream was because my wife and daughter wanted ice cream. Ice cream wasnt anything special. I wont be going back again. Owners should have pride in their business and train their employees more adequately.

Ice cream is great. Employees are sub zero. I went to go get some ice cream tonight shortly before they closed, but the girl didnt want to do it. You are open until 10, not 9:45. I understand the place is run by busy college students, but it would do them well to up the professionalism.

This is a fantastic place! The manager we saw and the one employee that was there as well, were incredibly sweet and funny and there was excellent customer service! Overall the experience was better than any other ice cream store ice been. Thank you sub zero!!

The Ice cream is very good. It was so new to see the technique it is used to prepare them. Kuddos for that!

Their normal ice cream is great, but I was here with a lactose intolerant friend, so we explored some of those options and were VERY disappointed. We threw it away after eating a little less than half. I used to work here. The potential is awesome, but that one time took it down to three stars.

Ice melts to fast so eat it faster... we still enjoy every now and again.

Staff were extraordinarily unhelpful and unapologetic when they overfroze one of our orders (seriously, it came out with a texture like shards of plastic with freezer burn). My own order, which was not over-frozen, was just generally gross.

Love this place, will forever be fascinated with the fog and little skittering beads of nitrogen as they make my icecream

I finally decided to try this place. I had no idea all the ice cream was artificially flavored with syrups. My strawberry ice cream didnt get mixed well enough and halfway down I got a bite that tasted like cough medicine. Needless to say, I threw the other half in the trash. My kids, 8 and 5, thought it was cool how they made the ice cream, but they didnt finish theirs either. Never going back here. Coldstone is 100x better.

Sub Zero? Try sub par. I have been going to Coldstone Creamery for years and they do an amazing job. I had heard of sub zero for quite some time, people raved about how good it was. So we finally went to one. It was terrible. The price was several dollars more than going to Coldstone and the quality wasnt even close. Making ice cream with liquid nitrogen is pretty neat looking but it makes terrible ice cream if you are used to anything with quality.

Watching the ice cream be made by blasting the liquid cream with liquid nitrogen is definitely a gimmick, but I love it anyway. If it werent so pricey Id go more often.
