I went to Roll With It Creamery once and I havent stopped going. Its so nice to be able to choose basically everything that goes into your ice cream and watch them make it in front of you. Plus, the location is very nice! I love the tall windows that let in lots of light and the pop color vibe the entire place has. I think everyone should go at least once here.
In the Provo war of ice cream dominance, Id declare this the winner over Rockwells around the corner. I loved the ability to customize our order to our taste, and the consistency was great as opposed to other reviewers comments. It didnt melt very quickly, which I appreciated. Its the perfect amount to share between 2, which makes the price tolerable.
My favorite ice cream place to date!! I am lactose intolerant so to persuade me to eat ice cream it has to be overwhelmingly enticing and this place does the job! I love that you basically create your own flavor. Yes it sort of has the same base concept as other places (Cold Stone) but the way they stand out from the crowd is the delivery! Just watching them create it is an entertaining show. As well as the supreme customer service they provide like decoratively writing your name in the ice cream before rolling it up. Its just fun! The end result is a unique and beautiful piece of food art.
Fantastic, fast service. Such a fun process resulting in incredible ice cream! Everyone can get what they love and my kids thought it was so cool to watch. Really fun and delicious family outing!
We came here once and got our ice cream super fast. Then we came on a Saturday night and the line was out the door and it was pretty crowded. I understand it was a Saturday night and all the work stations were being used but the employees have everyone the stink eye and seemed like they hated being there. One was happy and smiley which contrasted heavily with the others. If you work in the restaurant business, you gotta at least fake it. Its a fun place but employee drama can sometimes get in the way of productivity.
I may have went here expecting a bit too much. The restaurant is combined with another, so the setup of the store is really strange. There was a really long line and the counter is directly in front of the entrance. It creates a really weird crowding around the front of the door.It took a really long time and was not worth it.But overall the taste of the ice cream was pretty good. I got a Vanilla Base with Raspberry Cheesecake added in.
Pretty cool process, allows plenty of mix-ins to be added evenly to your ice cream for a reasonable $.50, pretty similar to coldstone and more so to subzero, but you guessed it, the ice cream is rolled. The base only has 3 flavors, but there are plenty of mix-ins and toppings to pick from. I think its a good value, the only critique is the base flavor I got, chocolate, was a bit bland. Service was nice, located on center st across from the govt buildings
I love this ice cream shop. Best customer service and best lavender ice cream. All my gluten free needs were met and I’m leaving with a huge smile. HIGHLY recommend to all my friends.
Super fun experience. You pick your ice cream batter flavor and mix-ins and the employee mixes it together on a cold stone as the mixture freezes. Then with a flat blade the employee rolls up the thinly frozen ice cream into little bundles. Basically thin cinnamon rolls, except for ice cream. Just another way to eat ice cream but they have some fun flavors. I recommend giving lavender and honey a shot.
Taste isn’t too special, but definitely worth visiting for the experience. I’ve been a couple times and found it to be a bit of an overpriced gimmick. Worth going at least once.
Im very much a texture person when it comes to ice cream, and it is just too icey for me. It is fun to watch, and the customizing is nice, but in the end it feels like Im paying for a show. Which is fine, but Id rather just get better ice cream. Id recommend it at least once, try it, and see for yourself.
I waited an hour and a half for ice cream!!! When I arrived there were only 6 people in front of me in the line. This was the slowest line Ive ever waited in! And that was just the line to pay my money! Then came the waiting for my actual ice cream to be made. As I was waiting I kept thinking to myself that the ice cream here must be exquisite for these people to stand around for this long. It wasnt! The ice cream here isnt even mediocre. I waited an hour and a half! Incredible!! I would give this place zero stars except for 2 reasons: 1) I cant figure out a way to give zero stars. And 2) it is a novel idea. If you still insist on checking it out, because of the novelty, my suggestion is to do it in the next few months because there is no way this place is going to still be in business 6 months from now.
Great for dates! This is an incredibly fun ice cream shop to visit. You get to choose what kind of base you want, your mix-in(s) and your topping(s) and then the employees literally mix the cream into ice cream right in front of you on cold plates. Once theyve mixed it all up and its frozen, they roll it up into little ice cream tubes, put it in a cup, put the toppings you requested on top, and give it to you. Not only is it entertaining, but it is also delicious.Be warned, if you have poor taste in mix-ins and toppings, your sweet treat isnt guaranteed to be tasty. I went with a friend who chose to mix mint into an orange sorbet. BAD DECISION. If you use common sense and avoid pairings that sound bad, youll usually create a wonderful dessert. I typically run with pretzels, nutella, and caramel on a vanilla base.
The staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining how to order as I had never been before. I was impressed with the wide variety of options and flavors. Watching the staff mix and prepare my ice cream was fun. The product was very tasty but pretty expensive.
Love this place!! So much fun and soo delicious. Plus the toppings are free!!!!
Came here because a friend recommended it and was not disappointed. The workers were very friendly and helpful. The way they roll up their ice cream ice super unique. The ice cream itself was thick and creamy, and was a lot more ice cream than I expected to get. Id recommend this place to anyone!
Cute idea. Good ingredients and plenty of tasty options. Its all about the show. Its not like the shape makes it taste better but it is pretty. My kids loved watching them spread and roll the ice cream. Perhaps not the same flourish as subzero but equally enjoyable. $5 per ice cream which isnt unreasonable.
This is an experience. The ice cream is made in front of you by your special order the maker works hard to scrape together your order. Then it is presented in a cool rolled form. It tastes great. It will likely take some time because of the fact one person is making your ice cream.
Super entertaining food from the making to the eating. Roll with It has great customer service and a stellar product. You will not be disappointed no matter what you choose. Their lines on the weekends get long enough to have people waiting outside which goes to show how much it is loved.
This place is one of those places that you have to go at least once. It is such a different way of making icecream along with it staying sweet and delicious. Many of different varieties of toppings and other ice cream flavors. Definite recommend.
The ice cream rolls tasted normal which was about the only thing good about the place. The prices were overpriced for the amount plus the worker had absolutely no idea what she was doing, she froze mine and then let it thaw because she kept freezing it too hard and she couldn’t work with it. If I could I would ask for my money back
This is a cool experience if you havent tried it. But the ice cream is also usually really good!
Wow!! What a cool place. They make the ice cream in front of you on a cold plate. They put toppings in it mix it then roll it up. Really cool and was super happy with the taste. Crazy cool.
The staff is very friendly and I had no problem with the service. The selection of ingredients is good the quality of ingredients is average (it’s hard to screw up chocolate chips and caramel syrup) the concept is intriguing but when it comes to the final product it’s below average at best. If you put marshmallow in your ice cream they turn into freeze dried mallows that end of tasting like crunchy mallow dust. The ice cream just does t taste great after they finish doing everything they do to it. It’s just ok. It’s not bad. It’s not good. It’s just ok.
This is a fun place to go if you want ice cream and want to mix things up a little bit! The ice cream is good and its a fun experience to see the ice cream get mixed up and rolled right in front of you.
I love this place! This is my favorite ice cream in Provo, hands down. The texture is perfect and the flavor is on point. 10/10 would recommend!
Great concept and good quality food. Nice employees who are working hard but to few employees and very young all high school age.
First time here and it was great! The girl serving the ice cream was so nice to us. Got vanilla based ice cream with chocolate chips and it was so good! The only issue I found are the plastic spoons. They bend a lot and since their ice cream is a bit hard, it gets really difficult to eat.
BRING YOUR OWN SPOONS! The experience is fun and the ice cream was suprisingly hard and creamy. However we had to wait for it to melt because the dinky spoons bent so easily. For about $6 I think the Roll with It can get spoons that work with their product. In case anyone is also struggling the key is to pinch the spoon in half lengthwise (which is easily done) and use your index finger as an anchor for the bottom of the spoon. Other than that, its a fun place.
I took a date her and it was an excellent experience. The service was phenomenal they interacted well with us giving us the full roll with it experience. It was my first time and it wont be crossed off my list of future ice-cream adventures!
The ice cream tasted good but very inconsistent roll up pieces. My husbands was great but mine were small and melted very fast. It was so disappointing. Different people made our ice cream orders and mine was made without me there (while still placing our order) and they are supposed to do it with you. Wont be going back.
This place is fantastic. The rolled up concept if great and fun and its good ice cream. It is very popular and they have closed the ice cream line once on me because they were running low on ingredients. I havent tried the food here but I plan to.
Fun experience for kids but be prepared to wait. Typically always a line and it takes the crew some time to make freshly made ice cream rolls right in front of your eyes. The product is good but not the best ice cream I have ever had.
I used to really enjoy roll with it but recently the quality has really gone down and they have raised their prices through the roof. The last time I went it took forever for anybody to even take our order due to the immature staff and while they were making my ice cream, half was dropped on the ground and they did nothing about it. Also, you used to be able to go there and get at least one mix in and one topping for free but now all that comes with the base price is the ice cream and they have even raised the prices for the toppings and mix ins.
The cashiers were friendly and helpful. The ice cream was very good and they give you lots of toppings for no extra charge. Beware, though! There is the danger of too sweet if you take full advantage of that. ;)
The only place to get rolled ice cream in Provo. It was so fun to watch the process. Worth it for the experience alone, but the ice cream was delicious as well. My wife and I split one with Nutella and cheesecake, and it was great!
The ice cream is creamy and rich, and the service is friendly, helpful, and fun. One time the guy even wrote my name in caramel across my ice cream! I wouldn’t bother with the mix-ins, myself—the toppings are yummy and free.
Waited 2 and a half hours for my ice cream... it was my first time there, and the girl didnt know how to roll it. Less than ideal. The Ice cream flavor was good but I can get good ice cream anywhere else in a fraction of the time, and it looks prettier than whatever that girl did... Not bad, just not worth it...
The staff was friendly, interactive, and very quick. The atmosphere of the creamery is fun and inviting; great for young kids and adults alike. And the ice cream is creative, fun, and SO good!
Fun place. They prepare the food in front of you, and its fun to see them roll up your ice cream as if they were making some sort of delicious, diabetic nightmare omelet. The ice cream itself is no Cold Stone or Ben and Jerrys, but its still pretty good. Id probably go again.
Great idea, awesome location and delicious ice cream! My wife and I tried it for the first time the other day and we loved it. They have different flavors and good toppings. Recommend to anyone in the area!
Overall it was a little disappointing. We tried the sorbet and it lacked flavor. For some reason it tasted like that layer of crusted ice cream after a near empty bucket thawed and then was refrozen. Maybe thats what they were going for or my palate is simply underdeveloped, but it just wasnt up to par. Our friends had a much better experience sticking to the chocolate base. Ill know better next time and now you will too!
I really like this place! Delicious ice cream with a wide variety of customizable mixins and toppings. The only I would change, is the consistency of the serving size. Me and my friend went and ordered the exact same thing and hers was visibly way larger than mine. Other than that, amazing stuff!!
My 10 year old son says coming here was his best life choice. 😁
Really great service. Wish they had different sizes, instead of just the one. A little bit on the pricier side and not a lot of ice cream options, but what we got was super tasty!
Great fun place to come hang out with friends great service they were all so nice 👍🏼 definitely recommended
Super cool concept. Great people working there. Cool vibe. Yummy ice cream. Almond Roca was the best. Peanut butter topping SO GOOD. I dont recommend getting marshmallows because they get really hard and are a weird texture--or add them at the end.
Fun idea for ice cream. My kids enjoyed watching them make and roll it. I was a bit surprised by the price. $5 base, mix ins were ¢.50 each, topping was included.
Love it I always get the fruit sorbet with raspberries ❤❤ I crave this place like none other
Amy and Cassidy helped my husband and I for our first visit and they were awesome! They got the ice cream out and rolled quickly, interacted with us, and were sure to thank us and send us off on our way smiling. I will definitely return and send my friends to Roll With It Creamery! Oh, and their ice cream creations are delicious, especially the Salted Caramel Pretzel and Reeses. :)
Long lines but I think its well worth the wait. My date and I got great portions and extremely friendly staff who must be buff from scooping all of that ice cream. Operationally seems like it could use some work though. I would definitely recommend trying this place out.
It wasnt the best ice cream. It was fun. The sorbet was tasty. Not worth the wait or the price. But good service.
The ice cream was good but not phenomenal, but its really fun to watch them make it and also ice cream rolled into little sausage-like cylinders is a good thing fundamentally, so definitely would recommend checking it out once or twice.
Amazing place to get custom ice cream. And a little show to boot
Love this place!!! customer service is excellent in addition to a clean establishment you can’t go wrong coming here! The taste is tremendous as well! 😊
I know the guy who owns this place personally and he is awesome! His hard work and care reflects in the company which just happens to be a delicious and unique ice cream experience. Definitely will be back.
The first time I came the ice cream tasted almost freezer burnt, but the second visit was much better! The Peant Butter Paradise that they suggested was super good.
I love the Ice Cream here, has an amazing consistency and tastes great every time. The kids working are always friendly looking to earn those tips. Great atmosphere, and always the place to be on the weekends.
I would have given this place one star if the ice cream wasnt so damn good. Its a great idea, that was well executed. The only problem was the employees. One had his rag that he wipes the bowl out with tucked into his pants, and another girl was using a towel that she would throw in a corner. We requested that the cashier make ours and she did an excellent job. The ice cream was fantastic, I want to go back and give it another try. Hopefully I wont have to turn around and walk out.
Very nice and helpful with orders! the ice cream looks really cool when they’re making it! cute and fun environment!
Not only is the ice cream here absolutely delicious, but its entertaining to watch the workers create the rolls of ice cream. They work so hard and their work isnt in vain! Ive been here twice, and both times Ive been completely satisfied with how the ice cream turns out! I love this place!
Employees super welcoming and friendly, yummy ice cream and fast service.
A cool place with a great burger and delicious fries. You can taste the high quality of their ingredients and it seems that the proprietor truly cares about creating a robust, delicious burger that stands above other independent provo options. Would eat again.
The ice cream was slightly aboge average. I got it for free because someone kicked a field goal at the BYU football game, so I dont remember what it would have cost. If I recall correctly, the price was comparable to other places and you got to choose two flavors and two toppings for free.
Great experience and the ice cream was delicious! Tiffany was very helpful with helping me decide what I wanted and was very friendly. I will definitely be back next time Im in town.
This place sucks.the proper sanitation procedures were never given to all those that work here. gross washrags, people using their bare hands, girls were cleaning and then switched over to the machines without washing up or changing gloves. Their homemade ice cream is just liquid custard. I saw them pouring it onto their machines when they first opened.thats just the ice cream side.the food side is okay if you like the concept of a gluten free, dairy free, peanut free, taste free, satisfaction free cafeteria-style meal. their gimmick is that of an organic place that charges you more than you should be, for crappy tasting food. Their brisket is their only redeemer. But i would not go in this place just to buy handful of brisket for $9At least get some flavor!
Went in today for the first time for my daughters birthday and we loved it!!! Super yummy ice cream and the guy helping is was very friendly and explained to her how the ice cream was made... we had a great time!!
Calvin helped my friends and I with our first experience and he was so amazing! He has only been working for 2 weeks and it seems like he has been working here for at least a year. His rolls are so clean. We made tons of jokes, were really loud and he interacted with us. The price was a little expensive and the line was really slow but he made it worth it. Definitely recommend it. 100%
Really good ice cream. My husband said it was the best banana ice cream he ever had. But very slow. The employees didnt seem to be concerned about the backed up orders.
The workers were SO SALTY! We walked in at 10:45, fifteen minutes until closing, and I was taking a guest from out of the country to this new ice cream place. The moment we walked in we received glares from the two female workers, neither of them welcoming us to the company. The cashier was frustrated with some earlier transaction and said I just need this to go through or I cant clock out before we even put our order in. The blonde making our ice cream had so much attitude. My guest from Peru made the same observations when we left and we were both disappointed in our experience.
Could it have taken any longer? 2 young teen making the ice cream and another running the cash register on a Saturday night. Line was to the door and we waited 25 min for one order. One of the ice cream makers would leave and go into the back for several minutes between orders. Pulled a long hair out of the towel they use to clean the cold stones. We probably won’t be back.
Pretty fun unique experience to try at least once! Ice cream isnt amazing, but still worth it. Restaurant set up isnt the best, always has a long line, so maybe some sort of change or remodeling should be considered. Also the teenage employees tend to be slow and distracted basically every time weve come in
First timer and fell in love! Got the vanilla Oreo cheesecake with fudge and sprinkles. Great for a girls night out or a date;)
This place is such a fun atmosphere and the ice cream and sorbet was delicious! It is a great place to go for a fun treat for a date night! Except two employees had airpods in while working, one happened to be taking orders. Not sure how professional airpods are, but the ice cream was good! I just hope they can figure out how to make sure their employees are more present. I saw while waiting in line one of the employees who had an airpod in had messed up an order. But overall great ice cream!
My wife and I have given this place 3 chances, and it has striked out in our book. Ingredients arent fresh and the flavors are mediocre. Its simply average ice cream in a different shape. My recommendation is to walk around the corner to Rockwells and get some stellar and unique ice cream for a better price...cant go wrong there.
I didnt know you could be this creative just to make ice cream, but it was really good!
The flavour and texture is always fantastic and the experience of watching the ice cream made is so much fun. Perfect spot for dates.
Terrible service. The line was 15 feet long and took 30 minutes, and when we finally got to the front they told us it would be 30-35 minutes. When we asked why, the girl at the counter held up a stack of cups and didn’t say anything. We left to go get half price shakes at sonic, way cheaper and faster.
Anytime I come here the ice cream is always delicious and there is always a welcoming atmosphere!
Love this place! Delicious, fresh and all wrapped up in a Fun presentation! Highly recommend!
Honestly that was the worst service I’ve ever received, the workers here didn’t even bother letting us order, and for my first time this is going to be my last. Guess I’ll go down the street to Sub Zero now!
Sooo yummy! PSA: the marshmallows freeze and are unexpected crunchy. I definitely recommend!!
Roll With It Creamery is a nice place to hang out and be with friends or family! They’re ice cream is amazing and it’s a good serving size.
It was a very terrible experience. The reason for this terrible experience is it took us 1 hour to order. Then another 30 minutes to get our ice cream. And when one of my friends finally got her bowl it was only two thirds of what everyone else got. It was a rip off the people whom where working weren’t even trying to work fast they where just moseying around. The only reason I have them even one star was because it was tasty. And they said that 6 people were supposed to be working and there were only 2 so I felt bad for them but still very angry with this visit:(
So good!! I had vanilla and Nutella and it tasted like a kinder bar
Great dessert place but its pretty spendy for the portions.Worth a stop by tho!!
Delicious ice cream and a very fun atmosphere however the wait was long and one of the employees wasnt trained well. Overall the place had a very fun and unique vibe to it.
I had THE BEST time. The worker told me about the daily deal and I just knew right then that I didn’t even have to try the ice cream before knowing that I made the BEST decision of my life in coming here.
Great customer service, and such a fun date!! Would recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth looking to have a fun treat!
The employees are lovely and the entire experience is unique and pleasant. Love the lavender ice cream :)
I love it :) always have friendly staff! Delicious! I love to come here with my husband !
Cool place! Its fun and pretty good. Only downside is that it can take a long time to be served.
