DJ Auto is awesome! They were able to get in my car in faster than any other shop. They were very efficient and made sure to take care of everything! I had some lights out and a broken door handle and they fixed all those for free. They are about their costumers and making sure they give good service! I will definitely be coming here for all my car troubles!

I first went to DJ auto because it is AAA recommended.I consulted DJ when my car was damaged in an accident and for a pre_ purchase evaluation on a used car which was right on. Dave repaired a loose part by gluing it in, made my tail light work and fixed my side mirror. He could have charged me for any of those things but he didnt.When he repaired my AC he asked if I needed a loaner car which I did. I have my car serviced there for about the same price as where I went before. These guys make it a point to know their customers by name and the cars that they depend on.Tell them Ann M recommends DJ auto.

We were traveling out of state when our car would not start. DJ Auto was willing to take the car last minute and promised to look at it the same day. They kept us informed by text and quickly responded to my inquiries. They very kindly allowed us to pick up our car outside of business hours.

We took our truck that had an electrical issue we had been trying to figure out for a year to DJ Auto and they figured it out quickly. They worked tirelessly to find a new part which they couldnt do, so they worked even more hours rebuilding the existing part! They were also super quick to get it done! I would highly recommend anyone with issues take their vehicle here because when the starter motor went out just a week after getting it back, they still took great care of us! I hope I never have vehicle issues again after all we have been through with our truck, but I am so glad I have someone I can trust and go to IF something does happen!

Amazing service and great price. They gave an honest opinion to not put too much money into my car because of issues it has instead of trying to nickle and dime me away with labor that would hardly help in the long run. Other auto shops would try to get me to pay them to fix as much as they can which would be a waste of money. They also gave great instruction as to what I can do to help keep my car going by myself. I will be honest, I usually feel that auto repair places are trying to cheat you out of money and overprice things. Because of this, I am very skeptical of who I go to when my car needs to be fixed. I was AMAZED by the work done at this shop! They communicated with me every step of the way, they did not overprice or rip me off, and they even stayed late so that I could pick my car up after work. Isaac was a great mechanic and I appreciated all their hard work. Even though they were short staffed, they fixed my car so fast. I am grateful for their honest service and I will definitely go back if needed!

My car stopped in the middle of the road and had it towed to the shop. David, the owner, immediately took a look at the car and identified the issue (bad fuel pump) and ordered the part. Even though the car is rather rare (Porsche 968), he immediately located the part and had it installed in less than 24 hours. Very pleased with the service, professionalism, and expertise of DJ Auto. I live out of state. My daughters car had some problems. DJs got it in right away, communicated with me promptly about the problem and had the repair done and done the same day at a fair price. I recently got my Toyota prius Diagnosed here for a second opinion. The first mechanic I used for diagnosing was Car doctor they informed me that the car AC compressor was bad, so I came to DJ Auto and told them I was told by Car Doctor mechanic and if they can give me a second opinion. I was told vaguely if the issue is same issue they diagnosedthey might not charge me.Long story these guys still charged granted with a small discount, so instead of $150 it was $100.My issue with them is right after I got the car out without getting any other work done specially when they told me some other things need changing, I took it on the highway and the car steering started vibrating hard above 50m/h speeds. Now I get my tires done at Costco and they provide professional service which they did within the past 2 months. I got worried eggs something bad is going on with the car like bearing our loose wheel. I took the car to Costco again and was shown proof with pictures that someone had deliberately added wheel weights and that caused the wheel alignment to go off. And costco only uses specific brand so it wasnt theirs.I would not trust the good reviews DJ Auto has and be extremely careful when dropping the car off to these guys. Its unfortunate for me but a lesson learnt that some people will cheat to get business at the expense of customers

DJ Auto has been a wonderful place to do business. They have been fast and honest and are pleasant to deal with. They take care of all our vehicles. The only issue I have is their parking lot leaves much to be desired - but theyre working on it.

This auto shop actually made me cry! I was on a 1,200 mile trip with my kids in the car, and towing a Uhaul. Approaching Provo, I had three lights appear on my dash and decided to get my car checked out before continuing on. I spent all morning trying to find a car place in Provo to help me. All other auto shops said that I would need to take off the full Uhaul before they would look at my car(which I dont know how to do). I pulled in to DJs and the man inside the shop told me that he could help me(WISH I KNEW HIS NAME!!). He told me they would check out my car and would take the Uhaul off themselves if they needed to. I mentioned to the him that my kids were in a hotel trying to get on remote school and were having a hard time with Wifi. Without telling me, he called around and found a library for my kids to do school from. He then offered me a loaner car to get my kids there! This actually made me cry. After a stressful day of travel, I could not believe the kindness from a complete stranger in an auto shop! I have never in my life seen customer service like this. I was so grateful for the offer and even more grateful when they told me that all I needed was an oil change! Which they did quickly and without removing my Uhaul. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes, and was able to continue on with the rest of my drive. Wonderful experience.

My car broke down in the middle of the Nevada/Utah desert while moving my family across the country. The team at DJ Auto gave us an appointment immediately and managed to get my car fixed in record time. We had a packed vehicle -- with my wife, 1-year-old baby, and many of our worldly possessions, so it was critically important that we get back on the road ASAP. DJ Auto gave us a complimentary vehicle to use while they completed the repairs, and even let us temporarily store our suitcases at the office when we had to check out of our temporary rental. Talk about going the extra mile! Id recommend this shop to anyone looking for a quick, quality, and professional repair job.

I highly recommend this shop! I took my car in to have DJ Auto replace both front struts and coil springs. Their quote was comparable with 4 other shops I contacted, and they provide a much better warranty on the service. I found a small problem with a lug nut when my brother was doing some further work on my car after the fact, and they promptly took my car in and got it fixed for no charge even though they were very busy.The shop owner, David, is very nice and a highly-skilled mechanic. Seth was also a pleasure to work with. You can trust this shop to give you a fair quote, to only replace things that actually need to be replaced, and to stand by their word.

Absolutely love this place. I went there because I needed to replace my oil gasket pan and my oil was running low. After the average priced diagnostic they gave me a quote of how much it would cost to fix it. To be completely honest, it was a lot more than I was looking to pay so I decided to go elsewhere after explaining my situation to them and not wanting to pay that much money. They were completely understanding when I told them I was going to go elsewhere. When I went to pick up my car again, they had changed and refilled my oil free of charge so I wouldn’t ruin my car while I drove to the next auto repair shop. I thought this was extremely kind and considerate of them, especially since I only paid for the diagnostic.Another favorite of mine is how they give you a loaner car while yours is in the shop. This is super convenient since I needed a car over the weekend while mine was in the shop.The friendliness of the people who work here is especially something to compliment as well. Special thanks to Forester and Chris for their 12/10 customer service. Yes, they do deserve the extra two points of extra credit.Im regards to their price, it’s only slightly higher than the average, but the value of their service is well worth it, especially considering the gracious warranty they provide with all their maintenance work.

My Nissan Rogue transmission went out while on vacation. (Not under recall yet) This was the closest warranty repair place. They were quick, only 2 days...but... on a $5000 job, they tried to upsale a $300 serpentine belt. Said it was badly frayed and I might not make it home again. Took it to another mechanic ($100 bid) who showed me it was nearly brand new. They also said they checked all fluid levels and lights. But a rear brake light was out and not replaced (or even marked). Transmission works great, cost me only my deductible. But will not choose to go back.

This shops owner truly amazed me. I am out of state, but needed a Pre-Purchase Inspection done on a vehicle from a nearby dealer. David the owner of DJ Auto handled my last minute call with sincere care and service, and invited me to have the car brought to him the next day for inspection.Im so glad that I did, because there were major issues with the cars transmission, head gasket, questionable milage accuracy, and more...which is why you dont always trust a dealers in-house bumper-to-bumper green light inspections that say the car is in A++ condition. Thank goodness for this shop and good people like David. Thanks

My family and I have always trusted DJ Auto with our vehicles. I even bought my car, from the owner Dave, at a really good price, and I know I can always trust them to give my car a good, full look-over (for any broken or replace-worthy parts) before they give it back to me. They always tell me if something is wrong with my car, how much it would take to fix/replace, keep me updated on how much time it will take, and offer me a loaner car, so that I don’t have to depend on some other mode of transportation while my car is in the shop.Some may say that they overprice their replacements, but in my 10+ years of experience with DJ Auto, they never give me anything but the most high-end, long-lasting, and best-warranty-guaranteed parts and service.Believe me, I drive a Lexus, and the high-end parts for this car are expensive, but they will also last me the lifetime of the car, so it’s a great deal!Finally, when your car stalls or is stranded on the side of the road, they will give you the phone number of a really good, trusted, and well-priced towing company, and (like I said) they will also give you a loaner car if you need it, while they examine and fix yours! This is an amazing company, and I would trust them with my own car and that of all of my family and friends. I seriously suggest them to anyone.

OUTSTANDING service! Im from out of town and dropped in with a used Jeep I was considering buying from a private seller locally. The DJ team gave the Jeep a thorough going-over and helped me identify the problem areas so I knew what I was buying. They took LOTS of time with me to review all facets of the Jeep, trouble areas, and realistic repair and maintenance options. They were SO PATIENT with all of my questions and gave me very sound advice. The information they provided helped me negotiate a fair price with the seller so I could make the needed repairs and stay within my budget. I was so happy with their service that once I bought the Jeep I promptly returned to have DJ Auto make the needed repairs. Result? They did EXCELLENT work and came in slightly BELOW what theyd quoted me with absolutely no surprises. If I lived in Utah these would be my go-to guys for all my vehicles!

Excellent auto shop. Every one of their employees are Master ASE technicians. They are very knowledgeable. They dont try and cheat you. They take good care of you. one especially nice perk is they have several motor vehicles you can borrow while your car is in the shop.

Don’t go here. I asked them what makes themDifferent then all of the other auto repair shops and they said they diagnose things that even the Audi dealership gets wrong. Well I had a $1400 job that didn’t fix the issue. Tells how they diagnose issues here...I would recommend going to another shop before choosing this place If you have a Audi.

It feels like a challenge to find a knowledgeable, reliable, honest, reasonably priced mechanic. Several years - and several cars - ago, we were lucky enough to find Dave and his team at DJ Auto. We drive over 30 miles to take our cars here because we trust them implicitly and value the service we receive. They are everything anyone wants from a mechanic shop!

TLDR: Very polite and communicative. However, another mechanic did the same work they quoted me, for 1/4 of the price. I felt overcharged for my ignorance, and thus cannot recommend DJ Auto. Details below.Very nice and polite people, gave me a complimentary car while they looked over my vehicle. The quote they gave me to fix the car problems was around 2000, which was more than I anticipated or was willing to pay.I took the car to a different mechanic, and he quoted me 500$ to fix the same problems. While he was fixing those, he found evidence that suggested to him that DJ auto might have cause one of the problems they had quoted me for (though I have no idea or opinion on that matter). While fixing that problem (replacing a stripped lug nut) he discovered another problem, a torn ball joint, that DJ Auto had completely missed in their original quote, and then fixed it immediately, free of charge. Im sure that had DJ Auto discovered the problem, they would have charged another 500$ to fix it.On top of that, there were several practices that suggest to me an unhealthy attitude towards placing profit over the customer: one of the problems I had was an oil leak: they changed my oil and charged me for that, despite knowing that I had an oil leak. Next, they were going to check IF I needed an alignment, and then align it if there was a problem. When I picked up the car, I was informed that the alignment was almost completely fine, but they had done the alignment anyways. Now, there could have been any number of miscommunications that happened (maybe I wasnt clear enough about what I wanted, or how it needed to be done), so Im not saying they intentionally performed and charged for unnecessary work, but these events contribute to a sense of pattern of questionable charges.While I was treated politely and kindly by all the DJ Auto staff, the severe difference in pricing between one mechanic and the other leaves me no choice but to conclude that DJ Auto was overcharging me for my ignorance. I cant in good conscience recommend DJ Auto based on my experience.

Best auto shop around.These guys know their stuff and their customer service is fantastic. They always try and make sure you understand what is going on with your vehicle by letting you know exactly what needs to be fixed, when it should be fixed, and how important those fixes are on a scale from 1-10.You might find slightly cheaper prices elsewhere but you definitely won’t get service this good anywhere else.

I rarely post google reviews, but DJ Auto has hands down been the best experience my husband and I have ever had with an auto shop. They’re very professional and respectful, and make me feel like their most important customer even when (let’s be honest) I’m a pretty unimportant customer in the scheme of things. They take the time to explain things very well, and to recommend ways to keep your car in better shape (like letting me know which gas stations put detergent in their gas and which don’t) and they’ll find ways to cut costs (Like coupons if you’re a AAA member). All around, they do great work and we’ve been really happy with them! I would recommend them every time. They go above and beyond for their customers.

I would just like to share what a blessing it has been for me to find DJ Auto.How comforting it is to have a mechanic you can trust. I am certain Dave and his staff care more about the longevity of my vehicle than I do. I have a Ford F-150 (need I say anymore)? I have had continues issues with this truck and even more with the local Ford dealership. DJ Auto has always provided me with sound advice (even when they weren’t the ones making the repairs). In fact, one time Ford was telling me I needed to replace my coils ($650) on a brand new engine “still under warenty”. Dave went so far as to take time out of his busy schedule to go to the Ford dealership and meet with the Ford mechanic. Dave asked the Ford mechanic to swap the current coils (to prove that there were no problems with the coils, and that the problem was in fact an internal issue) WOW!Side note: After several thousand dollars of needless repairs and many trips back to the Ford dealership, Ford ended up replacing my year and a half old engine due to an internal problem (Ford should have listened to Dave the first time)!Not only are Dave and his staff great mechanics, they are true advocates and honest to deal with.Not to mention, out of the 12 or so times I had to take my truck into Ford, they never supplied me with loaner car. DJ Auto was very helpful, nice and never spoke down to me. My car was towed there after a tire blew out on the highway and I dont know much about cars. They worked well with me and tried to get me the best deal. I will definitely keep going back and love how approachable they are and yet you can tell they definitely know their stuff. Ive had dealings with less than honest auto repair businesses before(in my 70 some years) And always felt I had to be on guard-until now. For a few years now I have been repeatedly surprised in dealing with D.J Auto because of A: their skills and thoroughness at doing the needed repairs right and quickly the first time! B:Their willingness to take time to explain why a repair might be necessary (especially where safety is a concern) and why it might not be. C: Very reasonable charges for work,and last but not least, the friendly yet efficient environment each time I go to them for the occasional needed repair.

Our sons car broke down on his way from Bellingham to Zion National Park and was towed to DJs.They checked it out and told us the car had blown a head gasket.A 94 Jeep with 270 K so wasnt worth fixing.We sought out a newer replacement and DJs did a free inspection.In the end recommending that we found a good used car.Honesty, knowledge and Integrity are strong points at this establishment.I highly recommend them !!!

DJ Auto is my preferred mechanic! Andrew has done some great work on our Subaru Forester and really knows the ins and outs of the vehicle. Excellent customer service- they communicate well, they are not pushy, and are easy to talk to and work with. They also provide a 5 year/50,000 mile warranty on parts and labor for what they repair- which is more than I could expect from any other repair shop. They also only use oem parts and manufacturer specific fluids which is very important in my eyes. These guys genuinely care about their customers and doing the best possible work on your vehicles. Go check out to this shop and you might just find your new go-to mechanic.

Friendly, honest service I have used for a long time. Not trying to be the lowest cost shop around because they care about cars and the cheapest solution often is not a good solution... Have been to DJ Auto a few times now over the past 6 months. I have an older Subaru and it requires a good amount of “maintenance”. DJ Auto has been more than helpful by not only fixing my car but helping me learn what is happening and including me in the repair process. I ask a lot of questions and they are more than willing to answer and show me. If there is something small wrong with my car they’ve taken care of me quickly and free of cost and have shown me what I need to do to avoid the problems. Definitely recommend.

We have been going to DJ Auto for 5 years and they have been amazing! After years of trying several mechanics, we found that DJ Auto always diagnoses and fixes our vehicles correctly, the first time. The floors of the shop are off-white and are kept nearly spotless. I like to compare it to a hospital when I tell people about it. The shop is well organized and has an atmosphere of quality and reliability. I went in during work to see if they would do my emission testing so I could get my car registered, and also because my breaks were squealing. I wanted to make sure that my vehicle was safe to drive. They worked around my work schedule and let me pay ahead of time for the services they provided. They didnt try to cheat me out of my money like most shops do now days (sadly) and were 100% honest with me.They were kind and didnt try to push me to fix anything (that didnt need fixed). I would/will probably go back for any car services I need from here on out!

I highly recommend DJ Auto in Provo. This shop was recommended to me by a friend from Salt Lake who said Dave was his most trusted mechanic. I first took a vehicle there last year and I was so pleased Ive been back twice with other cars. My wife has also liked working with Dave, particularly his clear explanations of issues a minivan had and alternative solutions and costs. Both she and I regard DJ Auto as extremely trustworthy, knowledgeable, and efficient.

They were very friendly and easy to work with. However, they diagnosed a problem with our a/c compressor and quoted me at $1250 to get it replaced. After calling around I got multiple quotes for a new compressor at around $700-$800. We ended up getting a new compressor installed for $700 dollars. Literally almost half the price of what DJ auto quoted me. Not only that, but they also told me that I needed to get the transmission serviced....which I had actually just gotten done the week before at Brereton Auto. The mechanic that replaced my compressor also checked the transmission and said it looked good. Im sure DJ auto probably has good mechanics, but they definitely are much higher priced than many other qualified mechanics in the area. And they told me to do some other maintenance on the car that I literally had just done. All in all, they were nice, but over priced and tried to get me to do more repairs that really arent necessary according to multiple other mechanics.

Great service. I did a used car evaluation and they found some serious problems that could have cost me thousands of dollars. They spent some extra time explaining and showing me the problems. Very helpful. Also, it was a last-minute appointment and they got me right in! Id go back to them anytime.

Shane who is in the front desk is amazing! He actually cares about the customers and makes sure that we are aware of each detail of the car. The people there will do anything to help you save money and have your car up and running with great quality! You can rely on them for anything with your vehicle. :)

Wow! I was so impressed by this Auto Shop! Very professional, straight forward, reasonably priced and quick service! So glad I found them.

The service is great, and the owner is honest and does a good job at explaining the condition of the car and what to do to keep it in good condition. Never had any reason to complain--they gave me a van to drive while my car was in the shop, and they were prompt at fixing things when something didnt go quite right. I would highly recommend DJ Auto.

These guys are super helpful and really reliable. Ive brought two cars to them, and they did great work each time. Funnily enough, both of the cars suffered from some electrical issues with the wiring being old and snapping. When I drove away, with both of them, a different wire wore out, but I called them, they got the car and quickly got me back on the road. These are my go to guys here in Provo!

I took a used car I was planning on buying to this place based on previous reviews. I scheduled an appointment easily, and was pleasantly surprised to find out that they wouldnt charge me to look at the car. The man that looked at my car was honest, easy to understand, and showed me what exactly he was looking for and why those things were important. He ended up recommending that I not purchase the car, but to bring any other car I was interested in buying to him. He also told me what to look for in a used car, and what Toyota/Honda models/years were best to buy. The place was clean, and everyone was friendly and nice. I will go back, and recommend them to anyone buying a used car.

David and Shane were super friendly and professional! They gave me a quote that was quite fair based off my research. No pressure to take care of other things that needed to be done. They even let me use their verrry stylish minivan as a loaner car to get to work! Fast, easy and painless!

I have been going to DJ auto for over a year now, and I have never brought them anything they have not had a solution for. They are always very kind and courteous to their customers, and they definitely know what they are talking about. One of the things I have loved the most about these guys is that they will go over your entire vehicle and give you a list of everything you need done on your vehicle and a 1-10 rating on how serious/urgent the problem is; then they leave it up to you to do what you can handle. Very professional, and very great people. I highly recommend these guys. :)

DJ Auto is awesome! They are very friendly. They fixed my car in a very timely manner and called me with quotes before they did any extra work to get my approval. They charged me a discounted price and were willing to go the extra mile for me. I will definitely be taking my car to them again.
