Repaired the air conditioning system in my 1986 Corvette. It was a difficult job as the parts are very scarce. They kept at it and fixed it to my satisfaction. I have been using Autoworks for years and they do excellent work and are honest and trustworthy.

I only used this place because it was nearby where my car broke down. They originally quoted me about $2300 to replace my head gasket since it broke and I get it because it’s not an easy fix and there is labor involved. When the car was finished i wasn’t available to pick it up because of my work schedule so my dad went to get it for me and they told him there was another $100 that I had to pay. I guess I should have gotten the original quote in writing or something. But then about a 10 days after coming back from the shop, the car started randomly dying sometimes when I come to a stop. So basically I paid a bunch of money for some new car troubles.

Very professional and kept me informed during the whole process. Even sent me pictures of my worn out spark plugs after running the diagnostics! I feel I can trust this company, and we all know how important that is especially in the automotive industry. Thank you for the good business AutoWorks!

My air conditioner quit working during a very hot time. they quickly diagnosed it and repaired it. Even have me a ride home and picked me up after it was finished. These folks know what theyre doing and gave me a really fair price. Dont hesitate to take your vehicle in to get it repaired

Unfortunately my truck started having problem a week before a vacation trip was scheduled. I went to Autoworks for a diagnostic to find the issue, they were booked so I had to return 3 days later. I explained my time crunch with Sierra and she said that she would speak with the mechanic. To my surprise they were able to get the part the same dame and fix the truck. The next day I drove 200+ miles without issue. Thank you Sierra and the team at Autoworks for quickly fixing my vehicle.

I came in with a broken steering belt and also needed a tire alignment after hitting a dip just right.They saw I was just passing through and made my car a rush order. I really appreciated it, and they got me on the road the next day. In the meantime, they lent me a loner car so I could find a place to stay for the night.I hope I never break my car again on a road trip, but if I do, I hope it’s by them!

The Autoworks team provided quality workmanship at a fair price, delivered the work more quickly than I expected, and treated me as if I had been a valued repeat customer in spite of my being from out-of-state. Thats the core of my 5-Star review, but if you like details, then read on. My clutch gave out on my Nissan Frontier heading south on I-17 between Camp Verde and the 169 cut-off to Dewey, which is not a great place to have any automotive problems. I was able to nurse the vehicle off of I-17 and along to Dewey before losing all pulling power. Having traveled from Texas, I was now stuck on the side of the highway Friday afternoon about 3 OClock before the 4th of July weekend. I was fortunate to contact Autoworks in Prescott Valley. While I never expected service during the holiday weekend, over the phone Autoworks (1) promised to break it down and let me know Monday what the cost and timing would likely be, (2) provided a contact for a local tow service that could get my vehicle to their shop before closing time, and (3) contact for a car rental service. We got the vehicle to the shop and I got my rental car before 5:00PM. True to their word, I was informed of the damages to my clutch on Monday. Damage to the flywheel could only be determined after authorizing Autoworks to replace the clutch and dropping the transmission. The next morning, I was informed the flywheel needed replacement (likely a result of the I-17 to Dewey trip). Rather than needing to wait on the part being ordered and delivered, I was pleased to learn that the part had been ordered by Autoworks and delivered in advance in anticipation of it being needed and with the awareness that I was out-of-state and had a schedule to keep. The vehicle was ready Wednesday afternoon. The cost for repairs was very reasonable - no out-of-state gouging. I appreciated the friendly and professional service and the clear communication as the work progressed. There was obviously a good bit of business at the shop before my arrival, and I felt they put in extra effort to get me back on the road in a short time. Parts and labor both were covered by a warranty honored nationwide, meaning if I experience a problem, i can have repairs effected by a local service provider (over 160 in my area to choose from). On my way back to Texas, I crossed over the Chiricahua Mountains on a seldom maintained dirt road - I dont believe a more severe test to demonstrate the quality of Autoworks workmanship could be devised. Upon my return home, i received a text from Autoworks to follow up on how the vehicle was performing. I cant imagine having a superior service than Autoworks provided.

Honestly after recent and past experiences with auto repair shops we were very skeptical. We are now feeling a little more comfortable and trusting thanks to the team here

I really wanted to like this place it seemed like a great shop online but unfortunately I was let down. I had asked the shop to do a throughout inspection on my bronco they had my car a total of about two weeks, they quoted me $5,000 worth of work. I decided to do the major mechanical stuff totaling around $1500, when I got the car back it was a disaster, my radiator was not secure and in crooked, major exhaust leak in the cab, check engine light was on when it wasn’t before. Engine was running rough, my ac was no longer cold, air intake wasn’t secure and various other things, it was so bad I had to have them tow it back, they kept it all weekend and I was without a vehicle and I wasn’t offered an explanation or apology as to how this happened. The following Monday no one called me, I had to call them and ask what was happening, I asked how this could of happened but they didn’t seem concerned how their techs messed up this bad. They put things back a little neater and basically said your check engine light is on because of the egr valve and just left me like that.Update: I was never offered a loaner car when my truck was towed back to the shop, as is claimed below. I had to take it back a third time due to it still not running properly. I did get the loaner that time. I replaced the egr valve myself and my oil pressure was still low. They said they would diagnose the cause and I told them what was causing the majority of what was messed up. My light was still coming on when I got it back. Turns out it was as simple as the oil filter being loose and the PGR valve hose not being on securely. Everything in this review is things even someone not educated on cars could figure out. This shop did not take the time or have any concern really at all to make it right and give me a properly running vehicle.

I thought for sure the starter in my truck had died, and that it was going to cost me a grand or more. $125 later, my truck was back on the road. These guys could have easily taken me for a ride, but they didnt. Honesty is EVERYTHING! I wont be taking my truck anywhere else for service.

TL;DR: fast, friendly repair that seems great quality (drove 300 miles since repair with 0 hiccups). Would definitely recommend, but like with every shop, bring your own parts.They were very friendly and very quick on the repair of my front wheel bearings. The markup on parts seemed very steep (right about 125% from advanced auto website, 80% from manufacturer website, 240% from Amazon) but Ive never had a shop perform a repair before (I moved and no longer have a stable work service to jack the car up on safely). This markup could be the norm, especially since they likely get direct from the manufacturer/distributor and need to pay for rush delivery. I will definitely be going back, Ill just provide my own parts.

This place saved us!! We had an oil pan gasket bust on us out of town, all of the shops within 70 miles we’re booked for weeks. Sierra was so helpful and was able to squeeze us in three days from the timeof our call. We had to get our car towed and they let us keep it there until the time of repair. The car was done in the quoted time. Upon coming to pick it up we were informed we did not need a new oil pan as we had been informed by another mechanic, which saved us over $200..we are from out of town and really needed the work done, it would have been easy for them to exclude that information and take the extra cash we had agreed to pay. A few days later Sierra reached out to make sure everything was going smoothly.I could not be happier or sing their praises anymore. If you want good, honest work from nice people this is the place to go.Thanks Auto Works, and thanks Sierra!! :)

Had a broken engine mount. They fit me into the schedule and had me fixed up in no time!

Car was not running. It turned out that I had to have the alternator replaced. It was difficult to diagnose at first but the mechanic did an excellent job resolving the problem. Everyone was professional and committed to doing an outstanding job. Very happy with their service.

So I went to have my car looked at. They were able to diagnose my car. It was a bit too much for me and had to wait to have it done at this time. They continued to check on me and try to help me every way possible by giving me information and ways for me to follow up with them. They really went the extra mile and even remembered my name a couple weeks later after one visit. Defiantly a service company who cares about their clients.

These guys are the most reliable and fair priced mechanics that I’ve found locally. I have a high doller Porsche SUV and usually get ripped off.Not at Autoworks, plus they’re fast and thorough.

I recently retired in Prescott Valley after a career as a service manager in Seattle at a marine engine sales and service facility. Ive tried many shops in Prescott and Prescott Valley looking for the kind of shop I tried to run back in Seattle but had no luck until Autoworks bright yellow building went up off Highway 69. I finally found a shop I can trust to do top flight work at a fair price. John and his crew are the best. If I wasnt retired, Id like to work there!

As I was driving to work, the front of my car started to shake, and the check engine light started flashing. i am new to the area, so I just drove it to the closest auto shop, and thank goodness that place happened to be Autoworks! John got me in right away, diagnosed and fixed the problem, and had my car back to me by the end of the day! John was also nice enough to offer to stay a little past closing time so I could make it back to the shop after work and pick up my car. These guys go above and beyond, and they will definitely be getting my business from here on out with any and all things related to my car.

One of the best experiences I have had with auto repair. Stopped by during a move to Montana when my car started acting up. Staff was very polite and checked everything to ensure car was running smoothly. After getting the all clear and some trip advice, sent me on my way without charging me a cent. Its a good feeling to run into decent human beings once in awhile.

They were honest, thorough, clear and fair in terms of price. I just wish they worked on diesel trucks! If they did, I would bring my truck there for more than the small stuff. They also were very easy to talk with and super helpful; Im an out-of-towner who had pets with her so at my request they dropped me off at a hotel I was staying at and then picked me up when they were finished.
