I kept my stuff here for 2 years. It was always clean, orderly, and everyone I encountered was both helpful and friendly. If I ever need storage again, this is where I would go!

We have been renting a unit here for a few years. The staff are always beyond friendly, professional and accommodating. We recently transitioned to a slightly smaller unit, better fit for our size needs at less than half the price in the same building. The honesty and help from the team here was much appreciated, as always!

Decent facility but they like to shoo the renters out 25 mins before closing at 6:00. Very frustrating for people who get off work at 5:00 trying to get in before 6:00.

While my husband and I lived overseas, we kept many valuables at Downtown Self Storage. The unit was safe, temperature controlled, and the staff was always helpful.

Affordable indoor storage. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have a good loading dock, recycling, and parking. Our treasures were safe and dry for 3 years. Its amazing how much stuff you can fit in a small storage unit.

The staff are very helpful and are easy to talk to. It was my first time renting out a storage space, and they were incredibly good at explaining everything I needed to know clearly and easily. The location is great and the prices are fair. Everything about this storage facility is easy and nice!

We had a unit here for 2.5 years before we were finally able to part with enough **precious** possessions to eliminate the need for off-site storage.The staff was ALWAYS very friendly. The prices were very reasonable and stable. No hidden fees, etc. Moving between units within the building is a breeze. Climate control is good and no leaks.Other pros:small store with all your storage related needs -- locks, tape, rope, etc.carts availablegood loading docks -- two small, one largeu-haul rentals (small vans)location, location, locationOnly negative:They did have a couple elevator outages, which I can imagine would be really frustrating if you get unlucky and experience this during a big move in/out.

The people at this place are so great at customer service! Im a dwarf, needing assistance with things like the freight elevator, and the people there are always very cheerful and willing to help. Yesterday, when I brought in a load and the elevator was out of commission, they helped me store my stuff in an alternative location until the elevator gets fixed. Theyve always been really kind and helpful, and the storage unit itself is in great condition.

Downtown Storage at Johnson Street has the best staff ever! They have been very accommodating in every aspect. Cant say enough good things about them!!

Highly recommended.One of my friends stored some things here after their move, and recommended the place. I toured the building with the assistant manager, Jeremy. We looked at 4 different units that might fit our storage needs and talked about their security and policies.Rates are competitive, large units have lights, the building seems very solid, and they focus on security of the facility. There are always multiple staff on-site, and they do nightly lock checks, plus everyone has to sign in and out. They have tons of hand carts and trucks, several loading bays, and a massive service elevator to use, making it pretty easy to get in and out. They sell basic moving materials & locks, and the sign up process took less than 20 minutes. Easiest storage ever.

Easy but secure access to units. Friendly staff. Really easygoing place. Have rented with them for a couple of years and I plan to continue using their business. Convenient auto payments and I receive the receipt via email the first of every month.

We really appreciate the friendly, positive and professional demeanor from the guys @ Downtown Storage in the Pearl district. Moving from Hawaii can be especially stressful, so experiencing that “Aloha” spirit upon our arrival was really amazing! Staff was helpful with reserving a couple rooms to choose from for storage. Everything went very well when it came to check in and payment. Found advice very helpful when selecting storage unit.

If you are in need of a storage space in the Pearl District downtown self storage is a great place to go. the staff are friendly and very efficient and the storage spaces are good sized and the entire facility is clean and easy to access.

Nice staff, efficient @ completing paperwork, property very clean and well maintained and appears to be safe. Its a very old building with large wood rafters, plywood walls etc on each floor so if it ever goes up in flames, dont expect any of your stuff to survive but its not something Ill lose sleep over.

Very friendly staff. My only​ complain​ is. The doors a very thin wood door. So someone if they wanted to can put their foot or fist right through it. But other than that. its a great place.

New conglomerate Seattle management company. Did not notify us there was a change in management, as well as a system change. Worse did not return my call after a new gal in the office would not acknowledge their system wasnt completely working. Even though I showed her on my phone what happened, she then logged me into her computer to get me signed into the new system, then charged me $20 late fee. Hmmm, what else will they do. Find one that is owned locally...
