Just like the last time I came here, always a great experience here, extremely professional, they let you choose the kind of glasses and contacts you want and dont try to push the most expensive most costly versions of them but are extremely knowledgeable and helpful for any questions about any of them that you have. Got my prescription with no issues and is still, hands down, the best prescription and experience I have ever had getting contacts and eye glasses prescriptions and products. Would 100% recommend them to anyone and will be coming back every time in the future to this location when I need any prescriptions or products.

I was estatic to find out that I could get the BOGO offer on my no-line bifocals. Beth was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. Never felt like I was being pressured into buying anything.

The staff were all incredibly helpful and understanding of my specific needs. All of my prescriptions were correct, and the line on my bifocals was PERFECTLY placed. (Super important, ya know?) They have been complying with all social distancing and mask guidelines. Staff was friendly, and accommodating, especially Jenn, the store manager!

The exam portion was so easy thanks to Sean. He is friendly and easy to talk to as well as very professional. He explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable. Then I was assisted by Beth, who helped me pick out the frames that I wanted. She was genuine and kind, and I trusted her opinion. I’ve been to 3 different locations in 2 states and every time I come in the staff are welcoming and exceptionally helpful whether you’re getting an eye exam or trying to find specific phrase types or both. The prices are more than fair and they usually have good deals going on. They tint lenses too.

This was the worst customer service experience in my recent history.The eye exam person handed me a tablet and told me to fill it out.The tablet was super glitchy and I was having trouble seeing it. My glasses were broken and I couldnt see the print. I asked for help and she rolled her eyes and said she wouldnt do that . I told her I couldnt see the print and they were asking for information that I didnt have answers to.Questions like when was my last eye exam and what brand was I wearing now ? I didnt have answers for those questionsI asked for help on how to answer those questions and she walked into the eye exam room and slammed the door in my face.She refused to help me.The music was loud .I left without getting an exam and I will never go there again .Terrible customer service from a rude lady with a bad attitude

They are truly amazing!-They have excellent customer service. Jennifer worked so hard to make sure I got the package I saw online, even though they hadnt notified the store. I left with an even better deal.-They really thought out their patients comfort, even while adhering to Covid regulations. The final exam with the Optometrist is in a sanitized room where everything is automated. You can even remove your mask for an accurate reading because the Optometrist is working remote and is on a large screen.-Speaking of comfort, you dont have your eyes dilated! They have a machine that flashes a bright light and takes the picture instead. I have migraines and I didnt think the light was that bad... especially compared to the alternative.This is a long review, but they deserve it. This is the only place to go.

Was a great experience. Every staff member I interacted with was super friendly, very nice, and made what I was assuming going to be a very awkward trip trying on glasses during Covid much better than expected.The exam was quick, the telemed doc was a really neat experience, and the price was great.Jennifer ended up helping me with a pair of glasses and was not pushy but very informative on cost and options. I ended up right within my budget and very happy with my choice. Cant wait to pick them up.

Im an electrician and i had broken my previous pair of glasses. I called the store and Jennifer directed me to her store which saved me several miles and time trying to get across town. My experience there was excellent. Her and Jamie were so helpfull and i was able to walk out the door with new glasses and not miss anymore work which was priceless. Went to the Tigard location mid-week. Staff was nice... but it ended up being a Worthless waste of time & money! 2 hrs there, virtual Dr... recommended a contact lens similar to what I had been using (which is what I need) but gave me another, daily disposable, for the trial lens (because they didn’t have the others in stock - understandable) The problem is they wrote the script specific to the trial lens (dailies) and now I can’t order the lenses I need with the prescription unless I return for a recheck exam!!! Apparently they can’t access the doctor or notes to simply re-write the subscription... Another 2 hours??? Should have gone elsewhere!

I dont know why people are rating this place amazing. maybe its just the experience we received from them. But, this place is not great and not amazing at all. this year we paid $800 total for 4 eyeglasses and this included $200 insurance. ($100 each for our eyeglasses). Came in because the hinge in one of the glasses broke. All that is needed to be done is screw it back on there. NO! they wanted to replace the whole entire frame. We told the lady that we will take our business somewhere else. Not that it mattered to them. I think also because its during this pandemic that they are not making enough money/business that our insurance didnt matter and they just wanna charge us or people more.Apparently even though we gave the money for insurance still want us to pay for 20% of any cost which means the money we paid for insurance makes it to where they only pay for like 20% themselves and we pay 80%. No point getting insurance at all. This is a scam and a rip off!

Matt and Vince at the Tigard location were awesome. Vince answered all my inane questions. He made sure I understood everything on my order. They were so friendly and patient. They truly made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I watched them with other customers, and they were great with everyone. I will definitely return.

After reading the reviews we were a little leery about going to Stanton Optical, but liked their prices and the location was convenient, so we made an appointment for eye exams for myself and my husband.We were very surprised at the level of professionalism and the technology they used. They still do all the standard eye health testing, but without having to dilate your eyes, which is a huge plus! The vision testing is done remotely with a live technician on a screen. The Covid protocols made it a very safe experience. They were also very gracious about letting my husband use his own frames. Although I didn’t choose their 2 for 59 frames, I was very pleased with the price I paid. Due to Covid they are not making lenses in house right now, so it will be a few weeks for delivery. I may update this review after we receive the glasses. The only negative experience we had was setting of the appointment with the call center. Because of severe background noise on their end, it was difficult to communicate. Vince gave us their direct number, so we can call them directly in the future. Both Vince and Matt (I think Matt was the name of the tech who proctored our eye exam) were very professional and knowledgeable.

My glasses are good, my contacts are good. The staff is super friendly...until you have paid. After that you are on your own. My glasses came in and I had to go to the store to ask for them; no one called me. And I have yet to receive the prescription for my contacts, even though the store manager took my email address and assured me that he would email it. I tried calling the store but get rerouted to their customer service call center. When I select the option to request my Rx I am immediately disconnected. When I try another department they transfer me to the correct department where I sit on hold for an hour before having to hang up. I have been caught in this loop for 2 weeks with nothing but a headache to show for my efforts. And now I am back home on the other side of the country and cannot just go back to the store.0/5 stars would not recommend.

I have had to take my glasses back to them three times its still not right in the third time they didnt send my glasses in to be corrected again because my eye doctor didnt change the date from the original prescription so the manager Jennifer just figured that they already had it done and that the prescription matched well guess what it doesnt and they never bothered to even call and tell me and its been a month that will the prescription is Right according to the date of the doctors prescription and I have been spending four days trying to get this taken care of and I get no response do not go to the Tigard Oregon location. I will be filing a complaint with the main office and Oregons Attorney Generals office

I really wanted to like this place... the only reason why its getting two stars is because of the service of the staff.My only pair of glasses broke and I had run out of contacts. It had been just enough time that I needed to get a new prescription anyways. I just had moved to the area so I wasnt sure where to go. I called around to multiple places to get in right away and everyone was a week out. I literally couldnt see so I was terrified that I had to wait over a week to be able to see again. I finally called Stanton Optical and they could literally get me in right away!! I rushed there literally in 15 mins so that was fantastic. The guy on the phone was wonderful and nice. I was so dang stoked to be able to get in so quickly knowing Im gonna be leaving with a pair of contacts.The whole process was extremely easy and quick. The lady at the front was nice enough. Plenty of sanitizer and everyone was wearing masks. It seemed very clean and organized. I felt safe.The coolest part was the virtual appointment with the doctor. He controlled the machines from somewhere else while we communicated over video. That was pretty cool.However, Im super frustrated with my prescription. I bought 6 months worth of contacts without knowing my prescription was so off. Before this appointment, I had -3.50 contacts. I left there with -2.75 contacts and everything was blurry to the point I couldnt read street signs until I was right up on them. Thank goodness I didnt buy glasses from them. I just thought maybe my vision got better since I did just have a kid and Ive heard that Womens vision has gotten better/worse with pregnancy. But boy I was so wrong.Im extremely frustrated that my prescription was so off and now I have 6 months worth of contacts (over $200 worth) that dont even give me good enough vision to drive safely. And on top of that, they didnt email me my prescription until a week later (I buy glasses online and couldnt buy any until they sent it to me) even though the guy said it will be emailed to me within 24 hours. And it wasnt even my full prescription. It didnt have my axis or cylinder only the sphere. So they didnt even give me my full prescription. So in all, I paid $318 for contacts and the appointment to get a new prescription that wasnt even right. I dont even know how to complain about it since I bought all these contacts and dont think I could get anything back or refunded. But I wanted to make sure others know. Make sure your prescription is correct before paying or leaving. I still cant believe how off mine was.

Lost my glasses and Im from out of town. Scheduled an eye exam for the next day. Received glasses in nine days. Five days earlier than promised. Reasonable price for two pair. Very satisfied.

Took over 2 hours to just get a contact exam becuase last one expired. Cheap exam price becuase of how long you have to wait. Large glasses selection yet none of them look nice. I’d spend the extra money to get frames from somewhere else, exam too. Don’t waste your time.

This is unacceptable, I spent 45$ in good faith to have my eyes accurately analyzed and not only did Stanton Optical give me the wrong prescription they refused to make it right by providing a new appointment to correct their mistake. I now have 400$ worth of worthless lenses and STILL dont have any glasses. I would not recommend Stanton Optical to anyone.

I came in to get an eye exam. I had to wait past my appointment time because they took two people ahead of me that actually should have been after mine. I overheard them tell their appointment times to the guy at the desk. I was sitting right there so I really dont know why they chose to just skip over me like that. Also, you dont get an actual in-person eye exam from a doctor here. You just talk to someone on a monitor while they show you pictures on a screen instead of a legitimate vision test. I really doubt they are as accurate. Once Id picked out my frames, I had to wait around another hour and a half to get the order finished up. They again seemed to be helping people who came in after me. It took 3 hours in all.In addition to that, the staff can be rude and dismissive. I asked if they had a frame I liked in a different color. The guy just shrugged and sighed and said Probably not. He didnt seem to be willing to actually check for me.

Stanton Optical delivered professional quality and services on my two pair of glasses at half the cost I paid last time at another major glasses companies. THX for delivering what you said! You would do.
