Do not bring your vehicle here for out of warranty work. I had a mouse get into my car and I took it to the dealership. After they looked at it they called and told me there was “extensive” damage and I would need a fan blower motor replacement, which was $700. Agreed to the repair as they told me the damage was “extensive”. After the repair I picked up my vehicle and the service person showed me the old part which had very minor damage to the fan, but the motor was completely fine. I asked why they couldn’t replace the fan, which they replied it doesn’t come as it’s own part. Or why they didn’t offer to not replace the part and just clean the necessary parts. As someone who’s worked in customer service, you should offer the customer all the available options. Not force them into a specific option because it makes you more money.Needless to say I was extremely upset that I was conned into a repair that wasn’t necessary. All they offered me was a free oil change for my troubles, but as this car is leased I get free oil changes for 3 years anyway. I will never take my car back to this dealership, will warn people to their shady tactics with out of warranty work, and when my lease is up I’ll be going to another Hyundai.

Cannot recommend Tufunkjian of Plymouth enough. Frank was not pushy at all, was very honest and straight-forward, helped me find what would work best for me in terms of car/loan wise, and gave me an insurance reference (along with AJ, thanks guys!!) Frank even purchased touch up paint to fix 2 minor scratches on the used 2020 Elantra I ended up buyingAbove and beyond service!!!

Although I didnt end up buying my car from here because they didnt have the trim I wanted I did have a good experience with this dealership.Frank let me test drive two cars I was interested in, the kona and the venue. I didnt feel overly pressured to buy and he was very easy going, just a straight forward person. Being able to drive the 2021 kona here was probably in part why I bought my 2021 kona night. Overly enthusiastic salespeople are a huge turn away for me but his calm demeanor was great and a nice refresher from some other dealers I visited.I will likely take my kona to this dealership when its time for maintenance.

I just went in to ask about getting a replacement key for my sons car and I was greeted with an attitude before I even got in the door. The salesperson, or whoever he was, seemed annoyed that I just came in (to the Service & Parts department) for a key. When I told him what I was looking for he said for THAT?!, and pointed at the new RAM pickup truck that I was driving. I told him that it was for a Hyundai and he said that I needed to prove that I owned it. When I asked where the parts counter was, he repeated that I needed proof of ownership and called parts to tell them the same before I got there. I am shocked that a dealership would treat any customer in this manner and be made to feel like some sort of criminal for needing a key.

Went there on a Friday to look at a used car. Saturday morning I called and put a deposit down for $500. They called me Monday telling me I got approved but for 13.6% interest. I told them that that was too high that I was going to go through my bank to get a better rate and the salesman Frank told me that was fine. The next day on Tuesday morning I get a call from the sales manager named Steve saying that they sold the car they couldn’t hold it for that many days which it had only been 3 days. I told them they could not sell the car because I left them a security deposit of $500 and Steve told me that they never ran my card which is not my problem they should have ran my card when I gave them that information. I had plenty of money in the account to cover $500.I told them that this was very unprofessional and is very bad business And all he said was that is your opinion you’re entitled to it. What kind of dealership acts like they never got a security deposit when they clearly didn’t run the card themselves. I got scammed out of the car that I wanted even after dropping a deposit. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SCAM ARTISTS!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are looking for a dealership that makes you feel welcome, yet not trapped into buying a car the second you walk in, this is the place for you! We went there on Dec 29 and were looking into leasing an electric car. Frank helped us choose the right car for us, was patient, not pushy and very honest in terms of what might work for us. Above all, he had integrity and strong work ethics that stand out. It was during COVID, yet he and the staff did a great job at keeping with social distancing guidelines and safety, yet making sure theyre personable and friendly. Frank was so kind, he offered to come the next day although it was his personal day off to help us finalize paperwork. We love our Kona Electric. Frank also went above and beyond even after we bought the car to send us paperwork that we had misplaced. We will be back for sure!

So over the years I bought three brand new Hyundais from this dealership the first one was great and then the second one I started having problems with them doing service and such then they changed hands and said that they got rid of all the people that were the problems so we bought another vehicle new and when I brought it in to have the oil changed and things like that they would overfill the oil leave parts off the vehicle and just nothing but problems the last time I brought it in for a steering issues they kept it for a week and then when they finished with it I picked it up and it had over 700 miles on it and the steering issue was the same and I saw no new parts on the car that took the cake so I traded it in and went back to get my remainder of my extended warranty and its been 2 years now and many attempts and they still havent reimburse me for the remainder of my extended service contract and I call again today and get the same runaround this dealership in my opinion is the worst all they really care about is selling you a vehicle promising you all kinds of great service but once you sign on that dotted line its over youll have nothing but trouble with them

Ill go on record and say that up until my last visit I was less than satisfied with the service work at Plymouth Hyundai. That is based on several visits, not just one experience. I had planned on going to a different location for necessary warranty work but because of a busy schedule I was forced to go back to Plymouth.I went in to make an appointment in person and was greeted by the Service Advisor David Horwarth. His attention to detail and down to earth expectations changed my entire opinion of Plymouth Hyundai. He was honest, efficient and followed up with me in regard to the arrival of the part needed to repair my vehicle. I arrived on time for my appointment and was greeted promptly. The service was completed in a timely manner and to my satisfaction.Because of the experience with David I am now inclined to look at Hyundai again in the future when purchasing a new car or service for my current vehicle.

My husband passed away 10 days ago. I wastold how great you guys are etc. My friend loves her car. So, how come I have been attempting to call you and I hit 1 for sales, service answering machine comes that their closed. I tried and thinking I might have hit the wrong button.And once more get the service desk, not thesales department. Guess youre not interested in doing business. But somehow I am ok with it because I have 3 other dealers just waiting for me to come in. Also did try to reach the office. Again no response. If you have changed your hours because of the pandemic then I highly recommend you make a note of it on your website. PS. I did a map search so you are near the funeral home my husband is being taken care of. And please do not call me back.

This week Ive had two outstanding service visits at Tufankjian Hyundai in Plymouth, MA. The second one, in particular, made my day.It is always a joy to work with Jennine, who is not only efficient and personable but also customer-oriented.When I see her at the service desk, I know Ill be well taken care of.My first visit involved getting new tires and a sticker. It turned out that I had one of the older license plates that would not pass inspection, and I had to make a separate trip to the registry. When I returned the next day with the new registration and license plates, Jennine worked me in without inconveniencing others so I could get the sticker. What made a powerful impression on me was the fact that she had the new plates put on my car too. I had no idea how I would make the switch because the bolts holding my plate were badly rusted. Her kindness and consideration went above and beyond.I left the dealership yesterday feeling I had been blessed and with a smile on my face.Im sure Hyundai appreciates this very special employee. I know I do.

I made an appointment to follow up on a free software upgrade for my 2016 Hyundai Tucson. I was told they had the program software available and was given a date and time to arrive. I got there 10 minutes early. When I explained why I wad there,They knew nothing about the upgrade and denied having any information about it. They said others have been asking about the same thing. I showed them the mailing I received from Hyundai Corporate. Still nobody knew anything. This has been a well known problem with the dual clutch transmission for 4 years!I asked if they would also check the front end alignment because its been vibrating. 2.5 hours later, I was informed of several possibilities that were causing the vibrations. I had just bought new brakes pads, rotors and tires so, this wasn’t the reason. Instead I was told it could be in the steering wheel and it is out of warranty. The warranty for this problem ends at 60k. I now have 64k. I asked to have the 4 car wheels placed back on my vehicle so I could leave. I left very unhappy and unsatisfied. I mentioned to a manager in Sales that I felt that this was a “bait and switch” scheme. He took offense and harassed me for not wearing a mask. I had only removed it for a minute so I could explain my problem. Another gentleman came to speak to me about the upgrade. He said that I don’t need it. I am trying to get an answer from Hyundai Corporate but, I’m not too confident that this will lead to a better ending.

Best automobile service I have had in 56 years of driving. The service staff is exceptionally friendly, competent, knowledgeable and welcoming. They are also honest and pull no punches when it comes to the bill, which never exceeds their quotes. This is the one dealership service I have dealt with over the years that I feel totally comfortable with and never get the feeling they are taking me for a ride.

Called or visited 6 or 7 dealerships with a very simple question- Heres what I want, heres my trade-in, is it doable? Chris at Hyundai of Plymouth was the only one that actually answered the question and didnt try to get me to buy something else or, like most of the others, ignore the question completely and go into sales mode.Was in and out in about 30 minutes with a good deal on a new car, that I absolutely love, and a top offer for my trade-in.Will be going back for future service and for my next new car in a couple of years.

Leased a car 3 years ago and was a complete disaster. Took forever to get paperwork done with no other customers in the dealership. Took them 4 weeks to return my turn in plates after hounding and speaking with multiple people, they finally got returned. Then 3 years later try to return my lease because the quality of the Elantra I had was horrible. Was pulling teeth to get someone to tell me an appt when I could bring it back. Dont offer hours for people who actually work an 8-5 job. Never again.

I rarely comment on professionalism and customer service but I feel compelled to compliment both the Service and Sales/Finance team at Plymouth Hyundai. Living on Martha’s Vineyard presents challenges for driving as well as for routine service appointments. I had a 2015 Sonata that was hesitating and running rough. Coupled with reduced ferry service due to COVID -19 I was nervous about getting the car looked at. I had a two day window for a scheduled service. The service department went over and above to accommodate me and when a major mechanical issue was discovered they immediately helped me make a decision to buy a new car. I was doubtful that this would be possible and would be forced to spend over 5000 dollars for a new transmission . The sales finance team worked with me to secure a loan within 24 hours and I left Plymouth back to the island happy in my new 2019 Kona, a vehicle better suited to the driving conditions out here. My appreciation and satisfaction cannot be truly expressed.

I recently had to visit Tufankjian Hyundai of Plymouth for software update on my Hyundai Santa Fe. The service manager was very accomodating, polite and professional. While I was waiting at least 2 employees approached me and asked if there was anything they could do for me. After a short wait the service manager explained the upgrade and also pointed out a couple of small things that need to be repaired on my vehicle. No pressure to schedule and he gave me pricing incase I wanted to compare to my current general repair garage I use. Being my first time at this dealer I was impressed and will definitely use them again.

After doing some research online, I went into this place looking for a used model (a CRV). My wife and I bought a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport at this dealership earlier today. Our salesman, Tyler Ryan, was excellent to deal with. He was very cooperative throughout the whole process, essentially guiding us to what appears to be the perfect vehicle for us. There were no high pressure sales techniques, no let me see what else my manager can do, etc. I think they offered us a very fair deal for what appears to be a great vehicle. I have dealt with several auto sales people over the years, and Tyler was the easiest I have ever dealt with. Having come into the dealership recently I met Mr. Christopher Caulfield, one of the salesmen there. He was very helpful and discussed in-depth all of the different options as far as vehicles I might consider. He sounded very knowledgeable and was very accommodating. I just want to thank Chris and all the people at the dealership in general who made the experience very easy-going and comfortable.

My wife and I bought a 2018 Hyundai Tucson and the process was very positive and seamless. Michael Kelliher was our sales associate and was very informative and upbeat. He answered all are questions and we found this car buying experience to be the best we have ever had! Usually I throw away junk mail. However, enough is enough!! I cannot seem to get it through to these people that the new car we purchased 9 years no longer exists. It was totaled and sent to junkyard some 7 years ago. I am constantly pestered by emails, phone calls regarding extended warranty, junk mail, and the like. Now I get a potential check offering $2838 for a totaled, nonexistent car. Buyers beware what info you give them. I cannot seem to delete them, despite all efforts. Wish I could give negative rating.
