Unethical, unresponsive, lacking customer service. Do not bring your car here. I am sure the mechanics and service employees are amazing and this has nothing to do with their hard work. It has to deal with the service representatives. We brought my husbands car in back in May as his sync function in his car wasn’t working. For MONTHS we got the run around from John. I always had to call and get an update and was told “oh the part is ordered and will be here next week” called after 2 weeks “oh now the part is on back order but should ship next week” called 2 weeks later “oh sorry, John no longer works here and we have no record of your file or what part you are waiting on”. So for 5 months, runaround after runaround with no proactive communication from their end. I am the customer and they need to understand that. Finally today the car part was installed. Go in to pick it up and we were hit with a $131 bill for “charges that increased since we first brought it in”. The audacity for them to ask ANYTHING from us after we have been waiting for them for 5 months is unacceptable, Shawn refused to waive anything or cover the deductible for putting this through warranty and instead lectured me on how essentially they were loosing money on this repair job. No care or compassion. I’m a marker where you can take your car anywhere else my strong recommendation is to do so.

Ive been a ford owner 20+ years. My wife and I love the ford explorer. We found the one we wanted online at superior ford. We live an hour and half north of there but we were willing to give them a try. I work on the road and am only home on the weekends so I dont have much spare time. My wife called them and set up an appointment we already knew we were gonna buy this car so we asked to have everything ready. They did a decent job of getting us in and out quickly with our new car, but it was advertised as ford certified meaning a 172 point inspection. We did not get an owners manual the door code or a spare key. Keys are expensive. They told me they could make me a key on any Thursday morning but I cant take 3 hours out of a Thursday morning to get a dang key. It shouldve been with the car when we purchased it. My wife has been trying to deal with them about this key but they dont even respond to her. It was advertised as ford certified long story short very poor customer service after you purchase. We have given you the price of the key but you didnt respond. Im sorry I slipped one f bomb thats my bad but this is getting frustrating. Also the door code does not work but dont worry Im sure a different ford dealership will help us out because your dealership is too lazy to respond to my wife or come up with a reasonable solution that doesnt require 3 hours of driving.

Waited over an hour and a half for an oil change and tire rotation. There was only 1 other car there. When I communicated with the cashier that the situation was unacceptable, she informed me there was nothing that could be done. I will not be back. I can do it myself faster and cheaper. Pathetic experience!

We went to check out some trucks and when we asked what they inspect on used vehicles, we were told they don’t check them out at all unless they are going to be “certified”. I’m not talking about a cheap $500 car here. If I spend $20,000 on a truck, I at least want to know the brakes work and I’m not going to crash and hurt someone (or something along those lines, you understand what I’m getting at.) I asked if they at least do a basic safety inspection and was again told “No, we don’t do that. It’s a used car, if it breaks down on the way out of the parking lot, too bad. Legally we don’t have to inspect the cars if they are for sale ‘as-is.’ and we don’t want to spend the money to fix them.” I’m not asking for a warranty, I understand what “as-is” means, but I would at least expect a very basic safety check. Also, how do they know how to price their used vehicles if they don’t know what’s wrong with them? A vehicle with a bad motor isn’t worth as much as the same vehicle in excellent condition. Just because it’s legal not to inspect them, doesn’t mean it’s ethical. Don’t buy a used car from them, they don’t care about the customer if they are letting them drive away in unsafe vehicles.

Was disappointed today when I read on their website that no appointment was necessary for an oil change. Needed an oil change on my Expedition. Not really convenient location for me, but they are my dealer and the vehicle only has 11,000 miles on it. At the Quick Lane there were 2 vehicles inside being serviced and one waiting outside. An employee started the check in process with me, very nice guy, and I asked how long to get the oil change started. He stated 45 minute wait due to an issue they were having a car ahead of me. OK, I understand that issues happen, but the space inside is huge, and perhaps they could have more staff available? Anyways, drove back to Golden Valley, pulled in Valvoline Rapid Oil Change, and had my oil changed, fluids topped off, tires checked, etc. in 15 minutes for $75. Gentlemen at Superior did apologize for the issue and was quite nice, but my service expectation on this outing certainly wasnt met. Ill be hesitant to go back for an oil change.

Poor customer service. Especially bad if you are trying to take care of a recall on your vehicle.Very bad with phone calls. Endless holds, transfer after transfer, and random dropped calls after 20 min of waiting, or even worse, getting transferred by someone, to a voicemail machine. Horrible. Get your stuff together “Superior” Ford!North Country Ford is definitely better. Took my call. Scheduled my safety recall very quickly.

I told salesman ronald that I needed my payments to be around 200/month. He showed me one vehicle and said this is for you. Come to find out, payments ate over 400. When I asked him to put me in a vehicle I could afford. He refused to work with me. I called the manager and he was quit rude refusing to work with me also.Ronald sent me rude texts. Calling me names. Very unprofessional

Never will I spend another penny at this place. No customer service at all. Purchased my vehicle from them with less than 20,000 miles and a year old. They sold me a vehicle that was previously in an accident, I was told that it wasnt. Very shady practices here. Unwilling to rectify the situation, in any way. Basically told me that they would not do anything, its my problem. They dont care because they already got my money. I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

I would not recommend Superior Ford for service and if their Sales department is run anything like the Service department I wouldn’t buy here either! I brought my car in for repairs here and on my third drive the exact same issues I brought my car in for were back. I called Superior and asked for the guy that had been helping me, he wasn’t in which was no problem so I asked for his boss the Service Department Manager. I was given his voicemail and left a message early in the day. Late afternoon/early evening that same day I had still not heard from Superior so I called back and this time spoke to another service representative. He offered no apologies and scheduled an appointment for two days later, at this time I asked about a loaner/ride home after dropping off my car. I was told the representative I had been working with would call me the following day to arrange something. The next day by mid day I had NOT received a call from the representative or the manager I left a voicemail for. So I called another dealer and was immediately give to their Service Manager who asked me very specific questions about my Ford and about the receipt/invoice of work done at Superior; I was also asked about the outstanding recalls on my VIN and whether Superior took care of them. Superior never mentioned the recalls on my car and of course did not repair them. The Manager told me he was surprised/disappointed to hear this and told me he thought Superior misdiagnosed my car and should have taken care of the recalls while my car was there; he also told me that based on the error codes on my receipt and my description of the problem that he thought the correct repair would actually be free to me as the car was under an extended warranty. He told me he always tries the repairs that are free to the customer first! He offered to personally drive my car after the free repairs to make sure they were the correct repairs. I took my car to this new dealership for repairs where it was completely free to me and all my recalls were taken care of too. I think Superior owes me a partial to full refund. I still have not heard from Superiors Service representative or their Manager. No follow up on my calls to them or my appointment. I would NEVER recommend this Service department and if the Sales department is anything like the Service I would never buy a car here.

These guys were super helpful. No pressure but walked out of there with a car I love at a great price! Jimmy wasnt able to be there when we could but made sure he let Kevin know what we were wanting. The car was pulled up and ready for us when we arrived. He knew his stuff and was an amazing help in making our decision to buy. Rich made the paperwork a breeze. Went in for a Safety recall chemical reaction dot 3 brake fluid. When I got my car the seat was broke and I had no Brakes. I spoke to a worker and he told me the car was old anyway. I will be taking my car to an honest mechanic to fix the damage that they did. We bought the car from them new in 2009. We wont make that mistake again.

I made a spot mistake and was in a hurry at the gas station when I put gasoline in my diesel truck. Luckily we were 2 miles away and I drove the truck straight there and turned it off. Knowing gasoline floats on diesel probably saved me thousands. The guys here at superior ford took real good care of us and my truck, thank you guys for an outstanding job!

Very poor service. Dropped car off for service appointment at 8:00 a.m. and car wasn’t diagnosed until 12:30 p.m. and was charged $215 for just the diagnoses. The estimated cost for repair was outrageous so I took it somewhere else and they said that a wire had been left bare and a fuse had not been put back after it was removed. Called to speak to a manager who was not available at the time and never got a call back. My car was fixed at another shop for half the price. Will NEVER take my vehicle to Superior Ford again!

I’ve had multiple bad experiences here with service and quick lane. For one service issue I had to come 3 times because the part came cracked one time and completely incorrect part another time, they could have opened the box before my appointment.. I’ve had one decent experience, buying a vehicle. Today I went out of my way, during a snow storm, for a oil change and the quick lane was closed over an hour before closing time.

I would definitely steer clear of this dealership, my wife and I were searching for a 2012 Ford fusion SEL with a V6. This establishment had the car we were searching for My wife sent an email and we received a response, I physically called them myself and spoke with the salesman I told him I would like to know the condition of the vehicle even though it only had 34,000 miles on it. The sales person told me he would go out and check the condition of the car and call me back, my wife came downstairs and said he sent an email because he did not have my phone number, so I called him back again I have the email of the condition report in my possession and he told me there was a few minor scuffs in the interior on the center counsel in the rear and a couple of minor scratches on the paint. Being satisfied with what he had told me about the car my wife and I drove over 60 miles one way to take a look for ourselves. The exterior condition of the car was absolutely atrocious, all four rims were damaged the clearcoat was completely gone on all four rims, the rear bumper was damaged from backing into objects or whatever ironically it had back up sensors so whoever owned the car certainly couldn’t negotiate maneuvering the car properly in reverse. The front grill was also missing it’s finish as well. I had also asked him over the phone if the engine bay was clean and his response was yes it is. That statement was apocryphal. The engine bay was dirty there were leaves and debris throughout. For what they were asking for this vehicle and the condition of the vehicle that I seen with my own eyes was absolutely unbelievable. Do yourself a favor find another Ford dealership on your next vehicle purchase these guys are wolves.

We bought a new 2020 Escape in October of 2020.Along with that we got the Bumper to Bumper additional service Warranty.When we purchased it we were promised EVERYTHING COVERED! definitely worthwhile, peace of mindSo we were very surprised when we were on Vacation and we got word that our front tire blew out with our odometer having less than 2400 miles on it. Yup, the front tire had less than 2400 miles on it. We had it less than 6 Mos. Ford would not Warranty the tire. We found out our Bumper to Bumper warranty excluded tires. According to the person driving the Vehicle she didnt hit anything.Still, They would not warranty this product.But, what really upset us was this was the 2nd incident with this Escape.The first one being a piece of the car itself over the upper back passenger door flew off. We had to bring it in and have Superior Ford Order the piece under Warranty. It was the way they did it. The service side had no idea that the Body side had ordered this part. This did seem to cause alot of confusion when I called each time.We did finally have it replaced.We were told this wasnt the first time these panels had flown off other vehicles.So, we have had 2 incidents with this Escape before we have put 2400 miles on it! Before the first Oil Change. Neither one of the first impressions at Superior Ford were impressive.In fact, the Sevice area people really acted as if we were an intrusion on THEIR day. Instead of asking us how they could be of Service to us, the Customer. Believe me, we do not want to be there either!We have to being our vehicle to the dealership because of our Bumper to Bumper warranty.I hope the service gets better!

I have never dealt with such terrible customer service in my life. I will never buy a Ford and work with this dealership again. They wouldnt work with me on a recall and were charging me the full price if 2,333. They charged $182 for a diagnostic that you could have literally read from the dashboard powering steering and they never communicated this charge before hand. When I expressed dissatisfaction and that Id take my business elsewhere, they couldnt care less and originally gave me 3 hours to pick up an undrivable car. They deleted my comment/review on their Facebook page and blocked me. Never buy Ford. Never work with this dealership.

The customer service was terrible. The text messaging communication with the service staff was atrocious. Multiple questions went unanswered. Promises were made that were not kept. They ended up having the truck for nearly two whole days and I had to initiate each status update.Brought my truck in for some warranty work and they diagnosed a supposed misfire despite there being no audible indication of a misfire, nor was the engine light on. Then, when I said that I was going to hold on making any repairs they said there was a minimum check out fee of $189. Claimed it was for their diagnosis into the misfire, but they never informed me that they would be charging for that, nor did I ask or approve for them to proceed with any work. I would strongly encourage anyone considering taking their car here for service to try a different Ford dealer.

Went in for an oil change and a tire rotation & check. Ended up buying a new set of tires, because of a non repairable puncture puncture. When they were replaced a full alignment was done and then thats where the problems began. Not the dealerships fault, just a series of items needing replacement to complete the process. Jason worked diligently to get the work done, but I ended up paying more than I expected. And again my problem not their fault. They do good work, and while expensive, I felt the necessity to complete the repairs.

I made an appointment last Friday to replace my truck tires on Tuesday. Arrived in time for my appointment at 10:00 and was told they had accidentally sold my tires to someone else that morning. Asked if I could stay until they could get replacements in (sometime in the afternoon). Left, called a competitor, and had the new (same model) tires put on within an hour and a half. As a “loyal” Ford customer (on my fourth Expedition), i wanted to give the dealership my business; even paying a premium for the product/service. I am very frustrated/disappointed.

When our van had major problems this morning, Joe at Superior Ford got us right in even though they were backed up because we are traveling through. They figured out the problem and fixed it in about two hours. Another Ford service place in the area couldn’t guarantee they could even look at it today. I dont know about the dealership but I can tell you the body shop is a joke. Had my car in there for some insurance work, they never inspected the car for mechanical issues that have now cost me around $2000 but I have now found out from my mechanic that they never replaced a part under my car that now is costing me almost another $1000. If your insurance company ever suggests this place say NO. Find anywhere else to go. Wow thats the third different excuse you have given me even thought I specifically asked you about the part that is missing and having it inspected.

Bunch of bogus here, first told me I needed to make a 2 week out alot for a tpms sensor. Wait the 2 weeks than sit in the lobby and wait for the service to be told they dont have the parts. Was told the part would be in tomorrow. Wait a week and hear nothing. Call back and get told they have the part and to come back. Than ask for a rotate and tell me they cant because of my exhaust which is in the stock location and have never had issues lifting in the past. Than after the tpms was replaced they attempted to overcharge me by 75. How pathetic.

I had a great experience with the body shop at Superior Ford, and was so pleased with how everything was handled. Lucas was my contact and he was able to locate and get necessary parts in a matter of a few days, and then quickly got me on the schedule. I was able to wait in a comfortable waiting room while the technicians did the work, and delivered my SUV back to me in 90 minutes ( ahead of schedule) washed and looking great! I realize that some body work will require an overnight stay, but these are polite and professional people to work with.

The car I ended up buying began to fail at shifting gears to the point of being undrivable, not even two weeks after I bought it. We had a great experience with Superior Ford. Don was extremely helpful answering questions about the vehicle we were considering and there was no pressure to make an immediate choice. When it came time to buy, Don and Jeff were very easy to work with. Once all the paperwork was completed, Jeff spent a good 45 minutes or so just going over all the tech features in the vehicle to make sure we knew how to operate everything. A really good experience all around.

We were sold a car with a bad head gasketWe bought a Toyota Camry from Superior Ford in February 2018. We had a local mechanic look at it shortly after the purchase, the mechanic said the head gasket was bad. We brought it back to Superior Ford hoping they would have integrity and help a new customer out. They said they would diagnose it at no charge. After the diagnosis they assured us it was not the head gasket.We just replaced the head gasket on our own August 2018 and it now runs great. Either they lied to us and said the head gasket was not the problem or their mechanics are not competent.Update:Are you saying 112,138 miles is well over 100,000 miles? We did buy this vehicle As Is, but there was a lot of information not shared with us. We were told the car had no problems and would give us many years of driving.We hoped a big established car dealer would have integrity and sell only vehicles they could proudly stand behind or tell us the problems with the car and have the price reflect the problems. We paid a fair price for a good Toyota Camry, not one with many quite large problems.A/C didnt workno heat on the passengers sideno heat or A/C to the floorbad head gasketpaint badly peppered with chips in paint (snow and road salt prevented us from seeing this)

Claimed they were “already loosing money, best we can do is fill it with fuel”. I drove the truck off the lot with 1/8 tank of fuel. We had a plan for what we wanted and were able to see different models that fit our needs. We worked out the financing to match our budget and plans perfectly. The vehicles were either in stock or found quickly and brought to the dealer. Within a couple days we had them all and were able to pick them up. We took our time in finance to pick the best balance between service and value. Everyone was extremely helpful, courteous and honest. Plan to do more business with this team very soon.

I bought a used f150 from Superior Ford I had it 3 days and check engine light came on I brought it back to them and ended up I had a 600 dollar repair that they would not take care of I would recommend not buying from them bad customer service

I went in for a oil change this evening. I have always brought my 2014 Expedition here for this. I have a suspension part that requires that requires greasing at every oil change as it is not a sealed part. I was informed that they no longer provide that service as their grease gun broke and was not going to be replaced. They state (and I agree) that all newer vehicles do not require that service.After a conversation between Jeff and Shawn (service mgr), they made a decision to replace the broken grease gun. I am happy to do business with a company that goes the extra mile to provide superior service!

If I could give 0 stars or negative stars I would. I would never refer anyone to this place. My husband and I went in to purchase a vehicle, found a van we wanted to perhaps buy took it to get checked out and went back to let them know it wasnt worth what they were asking. We said wed purchase it for such and such amount and the guy (Ronald Powell) got aggressive and rude. He offered no counter offer, no other vehicles to check out instead, or anything. He was simply unwilling to sell us anything or even be courteous to us at all. I have never experienced anything like this mans behavior in my life. We have purchased many vehicles before and never had a sales men this disrespectful and rude and unwilling to get a sale in my life. Horrible customer service! So we went elsewhere and found a great deal, we purchased a vehicle twice the amount of the one we looked at here and gave that place the sale instead, but the van was worth it. We dont mind spending the money on something worth it.

Sales office was great - very prompt in selling me the car. However, car was dirty (even after I requested they vacuum it) and there was only 1/4 tank of gas in my car when I went to pick it up. Its the little things that matter and Superior didnt pay attention to the details to make this a positive customer experience.

This dealership deserves a -5 star. I brought my truck in for a recall that was sent in the mail and was never informed about being charged for work that was never performed. Im not a satisfied customer and will not be bringing my vehicle here ever again. Avoid Superior Ford of Plymouth at all cost. They lost another customer.

Warranty recall work was done as scheduled. As a retired dealership auto tech I was surprised that my vehicle was not washed after the work was completed, like we did to every vehicle that came into the dealership where I worked. Its always a nice touch to keep customers happy and coming back.

Contacted several weeks ago about getting assistance in finding my door code as I bought my first Ford used. The people I bought it from bought it from Superior and they bought their new one from Superior. Thought maybe this is where I would take it for service if they provided good service. That doesn’t seem to be the case though as I heard from someone right away but no follow up with the actual code. Disappointing.10/1 - Despite the hostile response on here, I am changing my rating from 1 to 3 stars based on a conversation with both the sales person and the general manager. Looking forward to my first service at Superior.2/28 - Upping my rating again to a 4. Made it in for my first express oil change a couple of weeks ago. I interacted with two employees, Tim and Jeana (sp?), and both of them were most excellent. Took care of my vehicle efficiently and warmly. And then last week I had it in for recalls. Joe took good care of me as well. The facility is very clean. The only reason I cant give them a 5-star is that the facility is getting a bit tired and there are little details missing such as napkins at the beverage station.

I felt zero pressure and got a good feeling right from the start at Superior Ford, Rob Martin was very informative and honest with me through out the process. I bought a used vehicle and had a couple concerns/questions about my the vehicle I was interested in. Rob followed through on everything and went out of his way to find information for me. I was financed for my vehicle as well and Ali was great to work with, extremely fast and explained everything thoroughly. I will definitely recommend and shop at Superior Ford in Plymouth, MN again!
