(see update below) Great equipment, TERRIBLE customer experience! We purchased about $9,000 worth of equipment from this location and are very happy with what we bought. However, the delivery and customer experience was just terrible. Our wall was damaged during install and we still have not heard a word from them about repairing it. Delivery was delayed, and trying to get anyone to call back or follow-up has been just about impossible. I have spent hours calling and following up and waiting for call backs with little result until I asked for the owners contact info. We also went to the trouble of trying to get the sales tax reimbursement and then found out later that the form and prescription was lost after we hand delivered it to the store. If you dont mind customer service problems then this is the place for you.UPDATED 5/21/21 (from 2 to 4 stars)- I just wanted to update this review to say that once I escalated the issue, our salesman was very, very responsive and is taking care of things for us. He has been extremely apologetic and went above and beyond to remedy the issue with the prescription even going as far as driving to our Dr.s office and to our home on his day off to take care of this. That was much appreciated.Now hoping to get the damage to the wall repaired in a painless way.

Highly recommend this location in Plano. Robert is very customer friendly and will work with you. He hooked us up with an excellent home gym.

We bought a treadmill in December and was told it would be delivered beginning in January. It’s now late Feb and we still haven’t received it. They offered to switch the one we bought with a lesser machine. I wish they would shoot straight and tell us what was going on with the treadmill we bought.UPDATE: Company made good and came through with an option for us while we wait for our new treadmill to arrive. They were understanding and communicated the issue (its not their issue), and accommodated our fitness needs immediately. Very professional.

Staff was great, not pushy at all and very informative and knowledgeable about their products. And as crazy as it seems to have something in stock these days... they did! I was able to pick up what I purchased the same day at their warehouse that was a short drive away. It was at least a 12 week wait if i purchased from the manufacturer online. Definitely recommend this place.

Superb attention to the customer, resulting in great value for me! Robert Morgan greeted me, listened to my preferences, and did not try to upsell me, but recommended an affordable item. The deal was so good, I bought an additional item I had planned for a future purchase. Delivery and installation was excellent. I love my home gym, and Fitness HQ made it happen!

Robert was very helpful and advised me on what treadmill to buy, even though the one that best fit my needs was not the most expensive model that I asked about. I highly recommend this store.

I had a great experience with the process of purchasing a treadmill. I visited a couple of times before I made my decision on what treadmill to get. With the COVID pandemic, it took two months before they called me to deliver the treadmill. (If you go on-line and look at different treadmill manufacturers website, they all have a minimum of 45 days before delivery posted on their webpage.However, I never took delivery. My wifes health had deteriorated before I took delivery, so I asked for a refund instead. NO PROBLEM was what I was told and what they did. They refunded the full purchase price back to my credit card on the spot, (and without a restocking fee).GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL AROUND. If things change in the future, I will go back to this store.(Tim was my salesman and Robert did the refund.)

Robert needs to be a little more friendly and a little less condescending to customers! I asked 4 simple questions and got answers from him but he answered them as if I should know the answers or like I’ve been hiding under a rock somewhere! I know you get tired of answering the same question all day from people wanting to buy equipment but it’s not my fault you’re relying on China to supply it. Disappointed to say the least and I’ve been here before and been treated very nicely.

I had an excellent time at Fitness HQ. There service was great. I was working with Rio one of the workers there, he was great and treated me like family. I am very happy with them and will go back when I need more equipment.

Amazing service! Even during the isolation, they were able to fill an order for us for dumbbells! They took our order over the phone, we met them at the door and they handed the box off to us. Really appreciate them helping us stay in shape while we’re stuck inside!

Called twice and they never answered as a matter fact on the second call I was placed on hold and disconnected. So I wasted my time driving to the inconvenient location and the one item I was looking for was double the price of anywhere else! No thanks

We went to this location for the first time ever, not knowing what we were wanting to purchase. Shawn helped us make the decision on purchasing an elliptical and water rower, meeting the needs of what we were looking for. He was able to explain what each piece of equipment would provide fitness/health wise. Consider Fitness Headquarters if you are looking for good equipment and no pushy sales people.

We can’t say enough good things about this store. They went above and beyond in helping us choose the right equipment for our family.... could not have been more attentive to our needs!! The prices are equally satisfactory. You will be glad you chose this store for your fitness needs.

We werent sure what to expect, buying our first major piece of workout equipment (since covid has forced us out of the gym)...but were pleased to find a friendly, helpful, no-pressure sales person (Robert) who allowed us to try everything we wanted and answered all our questions. Update: on purchase of Horizon Treadmill delivery, the left hand rail was badly scratched. Was informed by the delivery/set up team not to worry as it will not affect the operation of the unit; maybe so, but I did pay for a new unit. Sent an email immediately to headquarters and was informed they would look at replacement, as well as offered a $25 gift certificate for leaving a review. Now a month has gone by and never heard a word on the new handrail or gift certificate. The treadmill itself, I still like, but I guess the lesson learned, just purchase from the manufacturer and skip the middle man.I found the experience very professional, friendly, and informative; following is even an email I sent the owner:Hi Craig,I stopped by your Plano store today and I just wanted to thank you and your staff on very friendly and professional customer service. Purchased my Waterrower here. Selecting the one I wanted was more difficult than I had anticipated (spending this much on a machine I wanted to make the right choice) The manager was very patient with me and my over analyzing of each model. He was informative and not pushy at all. I left feeling confident in my decision and extremely happy with my purchase.

I havent actually been to this location, but Im extremely confused. How are 4 ratings, with the first one is just one star, equating to a solid 5 star overall? In my math, three 5s plus one 1 equals 16. Divided by 4 to get an average leaves a 4star as the only possible rating. Something fishy here. My rating is just an attempt to correct the math for the benefit of all.

My fiance and I went in here looking for a used elliptical. We found one priced at 399, the rest were double that and more. We felt like fresh blood in a building of sharks. I was looking for an elliptical that was reasonably priced, we were approached by 3 different people within the 10 minutes we were there. Then we get shown ellipticals priced over a thousand dollars and told that you arent going to find any proform or nordic track elliptical here, we carry products gyms use. Even though the 399 was a proform. We left and I purchased a 710e proform elliptical for $180 off facebook market, used 10 times. Thats a $700 dollar elliptical for less than 200. I dont like when people bash good products the average person can afford. I understand your $2500 elliptical is 4k brand new. But dont downplay affordable ellipticals to try and con me into spending more money. Its belittling and unprofessional.
