They say their replace your part with new ones and they dont. They use old part and dont make sure that they are work properly before re-using them. I went in to get my solenoid replace they called me and told me that the truck still wasnt working right that the next step was to replace the transmission. I went to go get a second opinion and the guy told me that they didnt replaced the solenoid with new one they used old ones. I would have paid them $1,800 to get my transmission fixed. When that wasnt the situation in the first place it was a solenoid.😡

I thought coming here would be a good idea!!! Big mistake! I was quoted a great price for a transmission rebuild. I was quoted around $2500.00. I wound up paying almost 2k more than quoted. HUGE difference. Now I have a transmission leak and I took it back up to the shop and it has just been sitting there for about a month now. When I call to get an update on my vehicle, I am given the run around. They were already paid for my job so I guess I am placed on the back burner. I drive by there and see that my vehicle hasnt even been moved out of the spot they parked it in when I first dropped it off. I guess my next move will be to contact their corporate office as their manager thinks that putting people off and lying to them to get business in the first place is ok. And then to treat me like this after I paid for a job you obviously didnt do correct in the first place. BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION FOR SERVICES.

Brought a company suburban in today and within an hour and a half they had already called me with the diagnosis. This will be the third transmission they have replaced for me on three different company suburbans over the past few years and I have never had any issues with the vehicles once they worked on them. You can trust them for an honest evaluation and their prices are very fair. And they back their work. They have earned my companys business for the long term!

Been coming to this place for years and years probably replace 15plus transmission with this guysHad an issue with one they Rebuilt it lasted for 15000 miles now that is broke again the price it’s back to regular my only hope it that this time it will last me longer than 15000 miles. Not happy as a business sometimes you need to look at it from the customers view what I do know is that this will be the last time I’m going to give them my businessMy advise is to look elsewhere 1st and give your business to someone that can accommodate or be fair with their customers

Had transmission rebuilt back in May of 2019. Everything was working great for over a year and then it started shifting hard into second gear. Took it in and owner made sure repairs were taken care of again. I would definitely recommend people to bring their vehicle here for service. Owner stands behind what he services in his shop. If needed I will bring my other vehicles here if they ever need service.

Iv used eagle for yeas for the reason that they are always honest, do good work and stand behind there work no questions asked. I took my silverado to them yesterday morning and got the transmission rebuilt and got it back this morning . Great turn a round time I will say they did scratch one of my rims bringing it into the shop but to be fair my truck has a 8 lift kit with extremely wide wheels that stick out about 4 on each side. I noticed it and told the owner and right away he took responsibility and took care of it. Most places would have denied it or gave some BS about it being a custom truck. Out of all the vehicles iv takin this is the first minor accident. I will always use eagle for as long as its under the same management. LIKE I SAID, REALLY HONEST PEOPLE . If I could give more stars I would ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Was referred here by Anthony from Texas Motorcars in Addison. Called up there and spoke with Bruce about having a shift solenoid pack replaced and he quoted me $700!! Every other shop I called was quoting me $1700-$2300 and said the whole transmission needed replacing!!!! Brought it in to them and they had it fixed the next day!! I’d highly recommend Bruce and his shop to anybody looking to have transmission work done. They are friendly, fast, and above all else FAIR!!!

Im not the guy that normally sings high praises in reviews but what else is there to say... For nearly the past 10 years Eagle has been my go to auto repair shop. From my old Chevy Suburban to my newer Lexus vehicles, they have repaired them and stood behind their work. Bruce and Joe as well as the Eagle Crew have been fair and honest with the repairs needed and the price charged for said repairs. I even took my LS460 FSport to them with a quote from Lexus of $3500 for a repair and left Eagle paying ~1500 over a year ago with no problems. This was for a known brake issue at Lexus. From engine swaps to brake actuators to headlamps to torque converter servicing to brake pads to fuel pumps they have done it all for my family and now my friends cars. Trust me when I say you can trust them. Go see for yourself and tell them Big Mac sent you.

I had a seemingly unrepairable issue with my Jaguar S-Type. Although the transmission was replaced properly by Eagle, this elusive problem would not allow the transmission to perform as it should. After numerous trips to the dealer and to several other repair garages, a Jaguars expert, and a diagnostic shop, the problem remained for a period of several months. All the while Bruce hung in with me and did everything he possibly could to help me solve this issue. Ultimately through Bruce’s perseverance, he found someone who solved the problem. Eagle did the recommended repair and my car is running beautifully again. I will forever recommend this Eagle location to everyone. Best service I’ve ever seen.

They FORGOT to finish repairing my car. Owners own words.I brought my car in last on Wednesday last week. They I needed new vacuum hoses for my EGR system and said they could have it back to me later that day or the next day. Thursday morning I got a call that it was ready to go. I went to pick it up and was told to drive it around until the check engine light turned off. On the way home I noticed the charger I just bought to control my radio had been stolen. Could not find it anywhere in the car, and I never took it out. But it was a cheap charger so I decided to ignore that it was stolen while in their care because it seemed like a small thing. Should have been my first warning sign. I drove 120 miles and blew a whole tank of gas super fast. Engine light did not go off. Called Friday morning to say the light was still on and they said to bring my car back in. When I arrived the owner was there and told me “they forgot to repair my car”. I had paid for those repairs they “did” Thursday and drove 120 miles only to find out they took out the bad hoses and forgot to put the new ones in. Who forgets to finish the repairs and has a customer pay for it? They did end up actually finishing the repairs Friday. And I hated to be that person, but I asked if they would be offering a refund or compensation because I drove 120 miles with a missing part to my car (which could have damaged my engine according other mechanics) and also caused my car to blow through a tank of gas. The owner told me well it’s fixed now so they wouldn’t offer a refund. That’s fine because I understand paying for repairs (though I expect the repairs to be done when I pay for them, not to be forgotten until I call saying the car still isn’t doing what it should). So I asked about compensating for the gas I lost when I drove it around to get the check engine light off (under the assumption they had done the repairs I paid for). The owner asked how much I paid for the repairs, so I told him. He said well that’s cheaper than you would have gotten elsewhere so that’s compensation enough. I’d rather pay more elsewhere to get the repairs done the first time than to pay for repairs they forgot to do. His not caring attitude over them forgetting to repair my car and letting me drive it without the part in it was not what you’d expect. What mechanic forgets to put the new parts in the car and lets the customer pay and drive off with the car? Not to mention having stuff stolen from the car.Honestly it’s a shame. They have good ratings and were recommended to me by other mechanics. But after having stuff go missing and having them forget to repair my car, with no compensation for the full tank of gas blown and time wasted while driving my unfixed car, I would not go back. I waited a week to post this review to make sure my car was running fine, and I will say it runs well now that they actually did the repair. But I won’t go back. My mind is blown that a repair can be forgotten and them charge me for the “repair” without having done it the first time. I should not have had to go back a second time to get my money’s worth. The two stars is because once I came back saying the engine light was still on, they did admit they forgot to put the new hoses in and did fix it the second time, and I appreciate them being honest about forgetting. But I still rate low because I have never had a mechanic charge me for repairs they “did”, only to find out the next day that they forgot to do the repairs.

Wow, where do I start. Ive been going to Bruce for over 10 years after being referred to him by my mechanic down in Lake Highlands. We needed a new transmission & my mechanic did not do them. All i can say is that Bruce, Joe & the mechanics are all LIFE SAVERS. Big city business but with small town values. In other words, they take care of you comes heck & high water. My mechanic in Lake Highlands retired so ALL my business has been done by Bruce & his boys for 10 years now. They have done about everything with our cars, van, truck & suburban. From tune ups, putting in a New Engine, Front end, rear end, breaks, electrical, etc. You name they have done it. If they dont/cant do it, which has been rare, they tell you where to go to get it done. Like redoing my leather seats or some body work. Joe knows everyone. Whos good & to go to and whos not so good & stay away from. He tells it like it is. His word is platinum. THEY STAND BY THERE WORK. I have had a couple of repairs go bad, not because of there work but because the part they got from the parts house was bad. I cant & wont fault them for that. Heck, it happened to my old mechanic plus my fathers mechanics. Thats life. It happens. At times when they have been slammed with business & I needed my vehicle done like yesterday & they couldnt get to it for a week they have referred me to someone else. Like I said, they take care of you & back it up plain & simple! Good People!!! Good Values!!! I wont go any place else unless Joe refers me or wont accept my $$$ (Not). See you all on the Highway & Byways. Stay safe out there. Brian

If I could give this shop zero stars I would. DO NOT take your vehicle to this shop! Shady tactics to try and rip people off. First I was charged $200 for a transmission service I did not get, when I got my vehicle home I crawled under it and the seal had not been replaced, there was mud still in it, there was no way a transmission service and filter kit was done. The original problem was still there so I took it back and then I figured they were not being straight with me so I took my vehicle out of there, they knew I was coming to get it and when I arrived with a trailer they had drained my battery down to erase the codes to cover up a lesser repair because they wanted to get me for a bigger issue than what I had. What should have been a $500 repair cost me $1,750 and they wanted to charge me $2,000. CROOKS

This is the BEST place to get honest and quality service. I met the owner Bruce almost 15 years ago and he is the most trustworthy person I have ever come across when dealing with my vehicles. Every Time I call, Joe says, bring it in and hell have my vehicle checked and they always get back to me in a timely manner. They are very good at finding the problem with my car(s) and have never tried to find things wrong that werent (like almost every other shop does). If they find something else wrong while fixing my car, Joe always calls to let me know instead of just doing it without my knowledge. The wait time, prices and customer service is above and beyond perfect. I would not recommend any other place than Eagle Transmission because it is the only place you get complete honesty and is not out to screw you.

Please please do not go here. I would not want anyone else experience the costly nightmare Ive had to endure over the past year. Last summer the motor in my car needed to be replaced. Eagle replaced the motor and got it running again but it sounds horrible and leaks so much oil. When these additionally issues were brought to their attention they advised it was just an older car. The car makes more noise and leaks more oil now than it did before. Additionally, when the car was taken to them my AC worked great. When I got the car back, it was completely broken. When I brought this to their attention I was told it was just a coincindence. Ive had to spend an additional $1,000+ to have another shop correct problems they caused. Its quite heartbreaking that a business would operate like this. Its been an incredibly stressful experience and I would hate for anyone else out there to have to go through what Ive been through. Please go somewhere else.

My problem with these auto repair shops is that they try to lure in the customer to get some cash, no matter how. I had a problem with my recently bought Honda Civic 2002 and upon some research on internet I came to know that it was a well known problem in almost all the Honda Cars from 1999-2004. I got it checked from one famous auto repair shop and they told me that its transmission needs to be rebuilt. They gave me a huge bill so I thought not to proceed. I then contacted Eagle Transmission and they said to send the car to their place. Just like many false advertisements done over TV, internet, they tried to act very professional and told me to get my car towed. They did not tell me EXPLICITLY that these are the charges you will pay after you will tow your car to our shop and if you do not get it repaired, you will have to pay this much money ( and why would they tell....) !! Just because they know that if they tell this to customer right away, he may not choose to bring his car towed to their place.Anyhow they checked my car and told me that my transmission needed to be rebuilt which was no different than what another famous auto shop told me to do. What they told on the phone was that we have some scanners and blah blah that others do not have and we can root deep into your problem and it may be a different issue.Anyhow I got my money wasted on towing. They charged $160 for just 13 miles of towing !! Totally reprehensible. I do not care how they do their work or how good is their service. I am only concerned about how they treated me. What I hate the most is the fact that just like many other auto shops they do not CLEARLY inform the customer that if we are towing your car, we will charge you this much amount of money. If they do that, it will help customers make a more informed decision.

Have used these guys in the past, but this time was not a good experience. After getting the transmission rebuilt for the 2nd time in 6 years, I had to take it back the next day do to a major leak. That was quickly fixed, but should never have been allowed out of the shop. A week later though the transmission is completely gone and having to get the car towed to the shop. While this shop is usually a little cheaper than others in town, its not worth having to spend several days back and forth to get it done right.

Took a 2001 Mazda Protege in several times due to transmission going out. They said it need and overhaul kit but not a full rebuild. Was still around $2K. A week later it stopped working again, same symptoms---sitting at a light and wont go forward. Eagle continued to insist it was an electrical issue and not the transmission. Never got it fixed right. Sold the car to a friend who is a Mechanic..wanted it for his son. Transmission started slipping again..took to a good Transmission Mechanic and found the entire Transmission was shot. He replaced it himself with a kit he bought and now the car runs great. I spent over $2,000 on the useless transmission from Eagle and got $500 for the car. The car had not been driven more than 100 miles since I started the transmission repairs with Eagle, some time in 2013.
