I had my water pump replaced and car serviced. The customer service was excellent and they maintain a very clean and professional looking office. My service consultant, Noel Rodriguez was very attentive to all my needs, answered all my questions and provided me with a loaner so that my day was not disrupted. Everything was done very well and I am a happy customer. If you have a Lexus or Toyota, there is no other better place in DFW. Definitely recommend.

Choosing to wait while the service was being performed was made easier by the workstation with free WiFi & coffee. Jamie kept me apprised of the progress and delivered a clean and vacuumed car 30 minutes quicker than expected.I will be back and will recommend Davenport Motor Company to my friends.

Too many tricks on the pricing. Watch your invoice carefully! When they did some promotion, you need to be specially careful. They may just reduce some service and provide you a discount to buy more service. When one of the owner promised you to match charges from Lexus dealership and they broke promises right away after customer called to confirm it is free. Their charge some time higher than Lexus dealership, definitely way higher than Honda or Toyota dealers. Just don’t know if their service is better.Definitely not recommend.

I’m extremely pleased with the excellent services provided by Daniel and staff. I was out of town and had my wife to take the car over which I normally don’t do. Daniel was kind enough to assist her over the phone with getting the car started since the key battery had died which made her late for the appointment. She was still encouraged to bring the car over although they were very busy. He immediately replaced the battery upon her arrival without her requesting him to do so. I thought we had an electrical problem with the Lexus as I was told by another mechanic and described to Daniel over the phone. He responded that would highly be unlikely but bring it in. Davenport examined the vehicle and corrected the problem within minutes. Additionally, Daniel did not charge my wife anything, not even the fee for looking at our vehicle. I don’t think that’s ever happened before with any automotive place I’ve dealt with. I highly recommend Davenport Motor Company-Plano, honest business. I’ve dealt with them in the past and always had good services. This time they went above my expectations.
As we were looking for a used Toyota van, it was very important to us to get the security of a professional opinion on the car we choose to buy. Dealer wanted me to invest in the 90,000 mile checkup package, which was north of $700 to do.Davenport gave Sienna the once over, changed the oil and filters and sent me on my way for $140. Theyve also been super cool and honest about fixing simple things that the dealer wants $$$$ for.Toyota owners - get to Davenport and stay away from the dealers. Davenport is great.
Great an honest service! I have a Lexus LX 470. All my dashboard lights, AC, mirrors stop working. First I went to Breaks Plus, which I used for several years. After diagnostic and $129, they told me that nothing they can do, only Lexus dealership. So I went there. After another two days and additional diagnostics I have received a call from assigned service man who told me that they have to go under dashboard to determine a problem. He also told me price. Once I heard the price, I took my car back home. Fortunately I Google and found Davenport. I told Even my problem and left my truck. Problem and some additional repairs has been done next day for 3 times less expensive what Lexus offered just for finding a problem. Thank you all again! Keep up good and honest work! I will see you all again. Hopefully not too soon.

In my 28 years of driving and ownership of over 2 dozen vehicles, I’ve never experienced a higher quality of customer service, honesty, value, and expertise. In the past I have used dealerships and independent shops both for my car repair needs for myself and family’s vehicles. Like most folks I always assumed that the dealership always gives the highest quality service, which in most cases can be true. With Davenport you get dealership level quality and expertise but with a significant difference in price and value.I cannot say enough about Evan (my service advisor. His honesty, integrity and communication every step of the way was unprecedented. I have also had the pleasure of working with the greatness of Jamie who is a former master technician and now a master service advisor. I was honored that before I even brought my vehicle in for the first time I received a call from one of the Davenport brothers personally. Everyone from the detail guys “Edwardo” and Mac are amazing. The tech’s are an all star team of some of the best in the industry. I found Davenport motors on one of the Lexus forums and and they came extremely highly rated so I decided to give them a try and I can honestly say I will not ever be take another one of my vehicles anywhere else. The honesty, the value, and quality of workmanship are hands-down the best in the metroplex if not the nation. If you currently take your Toyota or Lexus to any of the area dealerships from Park Place to Sewell I would without question recommend making the switch to Davenport. They offer courtesy vehicles, shuttle service, and everything else without the extreme overhead and inflated pricing. Every time I call in I am treated like family and to me that is priceless.
I went to Davenport to service my 2009 Lexus ES based on the recommendation of my sister-in-law. I went back in January of this year because my coolant was constantly leaking which led to my car starting to overheat and the engine sounded louder than usual when running. I called in and spoke to Evan and explained to him my situation. Their schedule was pretty booked up, but they told me that I could leave my car with them and that they would service it whenever they had the bandwidth. I dropped of my car and they proceeded to take a look. I received a call the next morning that my water pump was causing the coolant leak and that the thermostat would need to be replaced too. I asked if there was anything else that they saw that may need to be fixed and they only told me the drive belt was cracking and the wipers could use a change. I was very pleasantly surprised because my question usually leads to a bunch of unnecessary repair suggestions. They fixed all the hard parts for me the next day and I replaced my own wipers. Total cost was very reasonable compared to what it would have cost at the dealership. As a whole they were very courteous and didnt try to sell me anything more than I needed. When I picked up my car, it was washed and detailed, which I was not expecting. Hopefully I wont have to anytime soon, but if the need arises, I will definitely come back for my Lexus repairs.

The alternator failed on my 2011 Toyota Sienna (little red battery lite on the dash and car died shortly after). Davenport replaced it quickly, with a genuine Toyota part, and at the lower end of the price range mentioned on the internet. They also washed and vacuumed the car.Lots of stuff has to come out or be moved for this repair, and it looks like it all got put back properly. I check these things after getting burned too many times by shops that somehow lose caps to brake reservoirs, coolant overflows, etc. or dont fasten things back down.Ill happily use them again.

I first went to Davenport to have a parking sensor repaired that another local dealership replaced due to an accident that I was involved in. They were friendly, professional and transparent. Fast forward to today and I need a brake job done . The dealer that I purchased my car from didn’t recommend a brake job, just a flush of the system. Another dealer wanted to sell unwanted services. Jamie Smith gave me a tour of the facility, as I’m familiar with the automotive business, having been around it most of my life. The techs were all very friendly.I came in for an oil change but the tech working in my car saw that my front break pads were super thin and even toon the time to show me exactly how low they were. I appreciated the diligence and honesty they took to care for my vehicle. I’d rather support a local business than knowingly be ripped off at the dealership.Customer service was really nice!
I really like everything about this place, and only have one complaint. They are very professional, had great prices, nice waiting area. My one complaint is that because they were running behind (they told me that morning that a tech had called in sick), the car that I dropped off for routine maintenance at 8am was still not ready at 5pm. That in itself is fine (they warned me in the morning it would be afternoon), but since they close at 5:30 I got worried that they forgot about me and my car would be locked up for the weekend. I called and found out they still were working on it. In this situation I think they should have called me with status to let me know it actually was not going to be completed until after closing but they would get it done and not to worry about it. But that is not enough to downgrade to 4 stars, I think this is a 5 star business.
My second visit to Davenport motor company came after a morning of rain where I tried to roll my windows down to get the excess rain and dew off of the windows so I could see while driving. The back rear window apparently came off track during that process it would not roll back up. I immediately reached out to Davenport motor company a second time in addition to the dealership for price comparison. Davenport motor company came in at 50%. Less than the dealership. Parts were not even needed to be ordered for this situation. They were able to repair and reassemble the part that holds the window in place and controls the upward and downward movement. Again, Evan was phenomenal and his efforts. He took care of me, a second time and even provided a loan car and they took care of the work over Christmas break. I even forgot to fill up the loan car with gas due to a busy hectic schedule, and he took care for me this time. Very professional, very organized, very clean and nice facility. And for those reading this lets not forget they have multiple locations to take care of your every need. They wont hesitate to give you a recommendation if they could save you money. Ask for Evan. He is honest and fair, and works with you to pace repairs so the cost can be absorbed over time. I love their loaner car service and the car wash and vacuum service. They have always had my car ready when they said they would, and Evan does a great job managing expectations. It’s easy to feel like repair shops are going to rip you off if they can. I’ve never felt that at Davenport or with Evan, and they certainly could take advantage if they waned to because I know practically nothing about car repair. Have had the car in multiple times for a dead battery. Only now is the alternator identified as the culprit. Seems the time my car stays at the shop is getting longer and longer - i dont know what Id do if I didnt have a 2nd car. Not sure if it is my service rep or the shop itself. Service Rep seems uninterested and didnt even greet me with a hello when I went in to pick it up. Not comfortable with him. While in car to drive away and resetting seats and mirrors etc, noted that the tilt steering wheel wasnt working. Went back in and service rep was already AWOL so had to wait. Walked into shop to get a tech to come look at it ... and then Jamie came out to help. He was very kind, considerate and dealt with my frustration very well. He is a keeper!

Im highly satisfied with their customer service. Their quote for a routine maintenance service was almost half of what the car dealership quoted. When I took my vehicle in for service, I noticed that their quote over the phone was about $50 less than what their rep told me the day of the service. When I brought it to their attention, they honored the original quote and Im a happy customer.

Been using Davenport for a while now and I’m always satisfied with their service. I had a slow leak in a tire and they informed me there was a nail. They said because of where the nail was the tire had to be replaced. He advised me to go to where I purchased the tires because I may have a roadside policy. Sure enough I did have that policy and the new tire was free of charge. They were also nice enough to help me with the Bluetooth on my phone. Very satisfied and will continue to use Davenport for all my Lexus needs.

Ive used the DMC for mostly oil changes and tire work. My experience has always been positive. Expect honest and clear communication. I had issues with tires checked out at other places where I was upsold only to have the Davenports tell me the opposite when they looked at the same issues.
