Have had my car inspected hear for 2 years no problems had oil changed for the 3rd time i always check it when i leave this time the oil was brown as soon as i left synthetic i called the next day and told them the oil was brown the response was it gets that way as soon as you start driving it one day come on i got charged for a oil change that wasnt done and lied to .the next trip was inspection i needed brakes which i knew got those done and paid 2 days later the low brake fluid lite came on with 4 other lites i called they said its probably rusty RUSTY !!!! you just changed them 2 days ago he said he would have to see it i took it to another garage which fixed it in 15 min a leaky brake hose not rusty no hole loose wow !!!! never returned you request butch the expert this is what you get shady business practice so long

Mike in particular was wonderful. Hes a genuine guy that will truthfully answer any questions your unsure of. He also stayed 15 minutes after close to replace my battery. Will definitely be back.

Receptionist was very rude. Old man sitting eating donuts without a mask, chimed in asking if I had a problem. Next thing I know, he goes into garage telling someone I wanted a piece of him. North side lowlifes. Stay away, they want to fight

I called early this morning with a screw in my tire and they were able to get me in and fix the problem (in this case there wasn’t one) within a matter of a few hours of me dropping my car off. Very polite and respectful, I would definitely recommend!

My family and I love Mel Bagley. Its a smaller operation, but they have helped us so much over the years and saved us some money! Not the best place to wait with your vehicle so plan on dropping off, but we have always had great service and honest feedback from them.

Highly recommended. Honest and trustworthy people. Ive been taking my vehicle here for at least five years. Ive recommended them to multiple people. My vehicle is twelve years old and its in the shop for repairs probably twice a year along with inspections and oil changes. I trust these guys. The prices are affordable. Ive even had them check my work when Ive done some DIY (replace alternator, belt, master cylinder, etc.). Great people and Ive never had a single issue with a repair here.

My check engine light was on and I had taken it to 2 different chain auto repair shops only to be charged and the issue not resolved. I saw the reviews for Mel Bagleys and they participated with my warranty company so I went. I will never take my car anywhere else! They were efficient, inexpensive and honest. I recommend Mel Bagley Auto to everyone.

Top notch service. Always get me in quick and get the work done on time, for a fair price. I do a lot of my own work but take the car to the shop for things I cant handle such as tire mounting and state inspections. Last time the car was in they discovered it needed major brake work, which couldve resulted in a nice paycheck for them. But instead of trying to upsell me on it, they told me exactly what was wrong and said We know you do your own work, we just figured youd like to know whats up so you can fix it. A+ in my book, that move earned my trust and my business for a good, long time.

DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP. It is unorganized, unprofessional, unclean, overpriced, and I feel bad for the secretary in the office because she has to make excuses for Butch and the other mechanics who are overwhelmed, and unexperienced. I had a horrible experience where I ended up having the police involved. This shops BBB rating is poor, and I do not recommend this place to anyone. (Id rather put up with Pep Boys than bring my vehicle here)

Bagleys Auto Service is the tops in auto repair. Its easy to find (right on horseshoe bend) and they do what needs done and dont do what doesnt need done. Prices are reasonable, and its pretty easy to get the exact appointment you want if you call about a week in advance. HIGHLY recommended.

Since moving to PGH, husband and I have tried a few car places for inspection. This place is by far the best weve found in North Hills!
