Would give it 6 stars if I could. Nice people that work hard on your vehicle with fair prices. My brakes went bad and I showed up without an appointment. They told me they were booked all day but they still squeezed me in in-between 2 of their appointments even though they didnt have to. Great shop all around

They did some brake maintenance for me, and it came out a lot less expensive than I was expecting. That was ~2 years ago and everything is still working great. More recently, I needed body work that they werent able to do, and they gave me a recommendation for a local body shop, which turned out great. All-around trustworthy place.

I came here a couple weeks ago to have my front brake pads and rotors replaced. I brought my own parts and the younger gentleman who I spoke with when checking out was very nice and respectful. Throughout the next week after having my brake pads and rotors replaced, I noticed my brakes were till screeching like they were before they were replaced. I brought my car back to the shop, but this time it was an older man there who I spoke to. He was horribly rude from the beginning, asked to see my receipt, tried to say that they only changed my rotors and not the brake pad to which I pointed out where it said rotors and brake pads on my receipt. He told me to bring the car back the next morning and I didn’t have time to so I brought it back the next week. He again told me to bring it back the next morning which I did. Today when I brought it back he asked me for my phone number and told me to give them an hr to an hr and a half. I said that I would like to be there when they’re checking it. He threw an entire fit, yelling at me and telling me he didn’t want to do it anymore then proceeded to tell me to sue him. This was horribly uncalled for and makes me think even more that they know they did something they weren’t supposed to when replacing my brakes. My friend also had a bad experience here with the rude older man and I should have listened to her when she told me not to come here. I would NOT recommend this place at all — extremely rude and definitely not to be trusted. I’m a 23 year old girl, so I’m assuming they thought they can take advantage of me. I will be taking my brakes to be inspected elsewhere and will bring that report back to them at bash. Absolutely ridiculous.

I was referred here. I only did emissions today. I would say the staff was very polite and friendly. He provided his excellent service from the moment I entered the shop to the last minute I left. Efficient and fair price. I appreciate that he pulled my car from the shop to the road, which is one way and narrow for me to back a car. He got everything ready for me to leave. Thank you!

The brakes in my car were not working this morning. They got me in and out super fast and were nice and efficient! I’m a 22 year old girl so typically people don’t expect me to know anything about cars but he didn’t dumb it down for me and he still helped me understand what was happening with my car. Very reasonably priced.

I have been going to bash auto repair for over 2 years now and have never had a bad experience. As a single girl with not much car knowledge i can honestly say that bash has always been honest with me and has always done jobs for me with the best possible prices. I love the folks at Bash auto. They are always honest and fair with me. Ive sent several friends and co-workers to them who receive the same curtesy. They are reasonable with pricing, and they dont push repairs that are not necessary. At each inspection they let me know if they see anything that may need adjusted in the near future, or immediate. They also give me options, with pricing, of things that I might want to get done right away. A fine group of mechanics here, folks.

Everything that they told me needed replaced or repaired I knew needed it, definitely a very honest crew. Bash Auto Repair fit me in at the last minute on a Saturday when my serpentine belt was fraying and about to snap. They were so helpful and quick, and the price was reasonable. Couldnt be happier with this experience!

Best mechanic Ive ever been to. Quick, fair and above all - honest. It was the only mechanic I trusted while living in pittsburgh. I had to move to a different state, but I plan to time my next visit to Pittsburgh with the next time I need a check up so I can drop my car off here. No one has taken care of my car better than this place. Highly recommend!

Passing through town and the alternator went on my car. Holiday weekend and nobody but Bash was open. Fixed everything quick and at a fair price. Could have taken serious advantage of me but didnt. Honest guys, good mechanics.

They always call before they do any work and give a complete explanation of what they will do, then when you pick up the car they show you exactly what they did. They are the reason my old car is still running, I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I have been going to Bashs for as long as I have a vehicle. I was in there today got an oil change n checked my fluids. I will never go anywhere else unless he cant do the work. Prices are reasonable they do what theyre supposed to do and if they think you need other stuff done they will let you know. They dont just say it to make more money. Most places take advantage of women when it comes to car repairs, Bashs does not. You cant say anything negative about this place. If you do theres something wrong with you period!

Ive been going to them for a few years and I have never had a problem with them . If I had a problem with inspections on my car or truck they have called before any work was done. The work was done promptly and when I picked up the car they showed me what was done and what the problem was. I will definitely keep going to them for any work that needs done

The people who work here are extremely rude and disrespectful. Specially the lady who works here seems to be always Intoxicated. The try to over charge you by telling you all kind of stuff and if you say you don’t want to get it done then they will all together start misbehaving with you and start using abusive language.Would never recommend any one to go there.Look at the kind of reply “An Owner” is giving to customersReally sad

Terrible service. Do not go here. I ended up spending more money to repair their mistakes. They assembled my catalytic converters incorrectly, along with frying my DFTP switch, plus I had to get new vacuum lines after they destroyed the originals. My car sounded terrible after going to this shop. Im pretty sure my brakes were never fixed after going to them for new rear brakes. Actually, they are probably worse. After going to a professional, it was brought to my attention that the exhaust was leaking terribly, and they forgot to put gaskets on it. Never go here for anything other than an oil change, but they will probably mess that up too. Bash Auto does not even deserve a star.

I had to get my car inspected, I was in and out rather quickly. They checked everything, and I will refer Bash Auto Repair to my friends.

I used to be a big fan. However, I recently had a car issue they gave a disastrous diagnosis of needing a new engine. On top of that they berated me to my boyfriend when he went to meet the AAA tow, saying the repairs were all my fault. After taking my car to another repair shop, I found the repair was a simple engine coil causing a misfire -not good but 1,000s less than a new engine. After getting a new windshield replaced I needed my car re-stickered. I was yelled at for not calling (they were out front smoking, no cars were in the garage - very busy day) then told I needed to pay for a whole new inspection when THEY inspected the care three months ago. I called several other garages, and all of them said they would just re-sticker the car.

Ive used Bash a few times, and each time the service has been fast and well-priced. I had some belts changed, and he gave me a discount because he had some extra parts in the shop that he used.

1- very disrespectful people.2- I changed 2 break-pads and 2 desks at their shop and they installed it incorrectly which caused it to damage in just 1 month.3- I came back to their shop with the (receipt) to let them fix it and they refused to do it and also they did not give me a refund.If this is the only shop in the world... I would fix my car by my self.

I was referred to this mechanic by a Veterans group that paid for the repairs. Five months after the repair I went back with the same rattle to find why. The joint he repaired broke off. When I inquired why he did not fix the entire pipe from the start, he started yelling for me to get the F*** out of his shop. I did immediately! I later learned he had done a hack job on my car and to get it fixed right, it will cost double what was paid to him. No matter how cheap the repair estimate, take your car to a reputable automotive repair shop. This is not it!

If you want to get yelled/cursed at, and smoke puffed in your face...consider bash autos. Hes very good at that.

Sketchy & Lazy - I knew I had made a mistake when the tech called me and told me he couldnt inspect my car because he couldnt find the diagnostic port on a 2006 Mazda 3. Avoid these guys, they are lazy and incompetent. Flat out refused to do any work on my car even though I had made my appt days in advance; they called me after dropping it off and told me I needed to take it to a dealership - for an inspection and new struts, unbelievable! I took my car to Alberts Tire up the street and they had my car (and my money) done in 3 hours.

Service was prompt and fairly priced.

Broke down, called this shop ... we specifically asked if they could see us that day. We were told bring it in so we can look at it... We arrived at the location and we met with the only mechanic that was there working in the only vehicle in the lot. At the point we are told We are really backed up leave it overnight so we can look at it tomorrow Total waste of time, we specifically called ahead to avoid this, but they didnt care. Consumer beware

Rude, unprofessional, and sloppy. Scheduled an appointment that the receptionist messed up. When I called to confirm the appointment, she had an attitude with me. Eventually called me back and told me that her boss said, and I quote: We dont want to work on your car, take it somewhere else.
