I was assisted by Dave when I went to transfer an out of state title- he was incredibly helpful! Not to mention he was so friendly and made a task that people dread not seem so bad. He also explained everything he was doing and every document that he handed to me. I had a great experience here because of him
Thank you for your assistance. I was able to sign up an utilize the Roadside Assistance after midnight. However two Representatives may not been aware that the services were needed Immediately and advised me that the full AAA plus was available. Actually I was only able to get basic until the 7 day waiting period. Otherwise everything went just fine.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS AAA BRANCH!!!! Was doing a simple transfer of title, purchasing a car from a private party. IT TOOK 2 HOURS!!! I was herded from station to station and made to wait for a simple process that shouldnt have taken more than 20 minutes. I had gone through the same title process at another AAA branch in the area where it only took about 20 minutes a few months ago. Terrible, terrible system for dealing with the public. In addition, I renewed my membership and now I am getting unsolicited email promotions from AAA and there seems to be no way to opt out of the emails as there is no unsubscribe link.I now wish I had taken my business someplace else.
Very good experience. Friendly organized staff.
Well-maintained system for notary and passport services. They don’t take passport photos in another dimension other than US standard size even though photo printing machines have the option to select a different country/ dimension.
My daughter and I needed to renew our drivers licenses 8/9/21. “Eugene” at PennDot at AAA East Liberty had a remarkably nice and welcoming presence and was very professional. Encountering a positive employee makes a huge difference in people’s days.
Usually about a 45 min wait whenever I have gone but overall great experience with the staff.
No matter the weather or location, or length of membership, or age, or type of membership, it takes 4 or more hours to get roadside service. It wasn’t like that a few years ago but the change in service was abrupt. Cold and snow, 6 to 7 hours, nice sunny day with no traffic 4 to 5 hours. Better be by your car when they call or…The phone technicians have pleasant voices once you reach them after navigating through an annoying automated sequence of choices. I have one but a number of people who need emergency roadside service do not have smart phones or access to the website. So it’s a phone loop of no real service. Prompts like, ‘some one is on the way’, or ‘you’re next in line’ or ‘you will get a call as soon as someone is available’ fill in persons name…avoids giving out any real pertinent information.I’m guessing that because the dispatching is all cattywampus, the actual workers are overbooked. There is a breakdown somewhere and it is unfortunate for the customer. Maybe it’s regional and other areas are satisfied with their service. It seems dangerous to wait in certain circumstances especially depending on your age or health or gender. It shouldn’t just be a money grab for some and a constant overbook for others. The rate is the same whether you get a clown or great service and the odds are not in the customers favor.
Had to check in a few times with various people which was slightly annoying then had to wait for the travel agent who happened to be at lunch. He was kind and helpful despite being new to the position. I was able to take care of the things I needed to but I was there approximately 2 hours. Also there were NO PUBLIC BATHROOMS, that was the most frustrating part.
Ive renewed my license here. I highly recommend it. Staff is friendly and I was in and out within 20 minutes each time.
They were great! Great technology to say when the tow truck will arrive. Super friendly driver! I have been a member ever since I got my license and the piece of mind knowing they are there when I need them is invaluable!
It was a difficult place for a handicapped person but the staff were so helpful and kind and more than understanding which made the visit delightful.
Pleasant and professional as always. Love being a member.
Went in for a drivers license renewal and was out in less than 15 minutes. Lianna was really nice and efficient.
This AAA branch and division is frankly terrible. I had AAA for years in California (10 of them!) and was never treated as poorly as I have always been treated here. The DMV services here are especially poor. The employees here have no idea what theyre doing. They have multiple times given me wrong information and sent me to another AAA office that was closed. Theyre utterly incompetentTypically wait times are long but you can enjoy the view of manyemployees behind the counter doing nothing. Why are they not helping customers? Why is this place so poorly managed? Do they get paid for being there? Are they perhaps holographic projections? Who knows! Its even the head regional office so I can only imagine how bad the other offices must be.My best advice is go to a real notary and get roadside from someone other than AAA. I dont think Ill be renewing my membership.
Too many new employees, never received text to get waited on, people who came in hours after me got waited on quickly while I had a 2 hour wait, female said I will wait on you now but waited on someone else while telling me to be seated. It will be a while before I go back to East Liberty Triple A. Almost messed me up for going to my next appointment elsewhere, so I had to leave to get there on time. Never got what I went to Triple A to get.
NEVER stop at this AAA location! I went here to title my vehicle a year ago and I am still dealing with issues from the employee typing in the wrong plate number. The plate number they typed in was already registered to a driver in DC so I started getting his speeding tickets in the mail. After that to fix the issue they dead tag his registration without his consent! Which is not only illegal but also puts him at risk since he is now driving with no registration and can no longer register the plate he owns!! And for me they never took care of his speeding tickets so I am now in collections with Washington DC trying to call AAA and they hang up on me and refuse to answer the phone until the store closes. This place is a disgrace to the AAA company name! Since they make it impossible to file any issues with the store I came here to warn you! Save yourself time, money, headaches, and your very driving record by going straight to the DMV. I have talked to others who have also had AAA incorrectly enter registration information and screw them over too! I asked for them to simply put in place a check that prevents them from making these mistakes and a year later they still didnt do anything to even show they care about preventing these issues that happen so frequently as they still make the same mistakes today....
It was a long wait, but our Customer Service Rep, Dave, was outstanding.
The staff was friendly, and courteous.. And i got what i needed
Services is pretty efficient once youre permitted to go to where the customer service reps are. Someone meets you at the bottom of the steps to directs you where to go, but while you were upstairs you have to register, hopefully they ask you all the relevant questions, then wait upstairs to be called downstairs this is where it gets a little hairy theres not enough seating people are standing everywhere and youre not quite sure where the line starts but again that all depends on the time of day you go
Lines were long but moved quickly. Good service
Very helpful and friendly. Even went out of their way to help you
Tow truck driver Andrew was extremelyPleasent and knowledgeable.
I dont know. I wasnt there.
Great service and very little wait time.
Very coordinator with there services highly recommend for all aaa services
Very helpful. Was fast and easy. Very friendly people.
Called for roadside assistance and they sent the tow truck to the wrong address. Not sure how this happened being that I gave them the address and zip code and they also confirmed near by streets. I waited hours for nothing. Had to cancel my appointment. Can’t get my tire changed until Monday since the shop is closed on Sunday.
Quick fast easy. Driver license renewal and AAA membership in out ten minutes service people on point very nice
They went out of the way to help me. Very pleased with the service and professionality of everyone working there.
Good place for travel plans and help me to get the best hotel and rental car
Very good Covid procedures. I was lucky and there was no wait. They have you wait upstairs socially distant then call you downstairs. Very orderly and efficient.
Convenient place. Neat dome, COVID aware, handles auto paperwork rapidly.
Quick and easy very nice AAA+
The AAA is doing the best they can under the circumstances. They only take walk up appointments and its first come first served. The staff is friendly and efficient. They strive to provide exceptional service. They transferred my title and registration efficiently & effectively
Except for the mean security woman who did not even work for AAA, every single employee was not just perfunctory, they all went above and beyond to make sure our experience was good and painless! Poster children for customer service!!
Efficient and helpful staff
I was there 2 days ago and its still on my mind. The woman at the door greeting people was RUDE. Its not always what you say but definitely HOW you say it. I showed her my insurance info on my phone and she said You expect me to see that? I bit my lip and enlarged the image. Shortly after an elderly man came in, confused about what hes to do right then & she snaps at him telling him all she needs to know is why he was there, then said really nasty Put your money away, I dont collect anything here! I normally have a quick & positive experience in your offices, which is why this {2 days later} is still on my mind.
They process peoples’ request so slowly. No sense of urgency.
One check-in desk creates a long line and wait to get to the service desired
If every worker actually worked as if they were a customer this place would run a little smoother and faster. Too much social talking not enough hustle. Its an like oh well atmosphere
Efficient, quick, friendly service. Pandemic rules strictly followed
Fast and friendly.
Very good fast pace and understanding staff thanks
Have to say... I usually come out of there thinking it wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. People here tend to be pretty friendly. And their system seems to get you through quickly. They all seem very informed on policies and procedures so that is a big plus for me!
RUN! RUNAWAY FROM ANY MEMBERSHIP WITH AAA!!!AFTER YEARS OF MEMBERSHIP,. AND USE OF ITS SERVICE BUT TWICE,DEAD BATTERY LAST NIGHT, SERVICE MAN SHOWED UP, JUMPED THE BATTERY, RAN A TEST AND CLAIMED BATTERY IS DEAD & GONE, BUT, HE COULD INSTALL A NEW BATTERY AT INFLATED PRICE! i DECLINED.TODAY I CALLED AAA TO PURCHASE THEIR EXPENSIVE BATTERY! AFTER 2 HOURS OF PHONE LABYRINTHS & PIPED COMMERCIALS, BUT NO REAL PERSON, ANOTHER SERVICE MAN SHOWED UP & DECLARED BATTERY GOOD, NO PROBLEM! FORTUNATELY I WAS NOT ROADSIDE AT NIGHT OR IN A BAD AREA OF TOWN!I HAVE JUST CANCELLED MY MEMBERSHIP. THERE ARE OTHER ROADSIDE SERVICE COMPANIES. CONSIDER THEM!
Have had AAA for years, when I was involved in an incident they handled their business, I also have AAA member ship which they come right out to you if you need a jump or towed or battery they will check your vehicle before its towed ...cause it could be just a simple fix....Thank you AAA
All the staff were polite and skilled in helping me Title and register my new car. Bravo!!! A happy and proud 30+ year Triple A member.
These folks have no idea what they’re doing. They wrote all over our title, later realized that they couldn’t complete the registration, then said we might have to redo the title they wrote on.Go to an actual notary who know what they’re doing.
Excellent service, especially during this pandemic. Everything was clean and neat; agents were orderly, polite and helpful.
Because the workers are nice and they try there best to help you out
Services (duplicate title) werent available when I visited AAAs @ this location.
I would tell you to just go here instead of the DMV, but then everyone would know my secret. This place offers almost everything a typical DMV does, minus drivers tests, permit tests, etc. if you just need to get a photo taken or restore your license, go here. No wait. Super friendly staff. It was insane. I was there for a total of 20 minutes
I went here to transfer an out of state vehicle registration. I got it done right away, no appointment needed. They also inspected the VIN themselves, so I didnt need to go to the dealer for the verification paperwork.
Very long wait.Great service though.
Personal experience with the AAA outstanding!😉
COVID-19 protocols in place, before you get to the office. I appreciate that. Once in the office, service was prompt and efficient.
Very helpful with everything fir me and my husband
Came in to transfer a title and they were very quick. Check in at the door and texted us when we were ready to be called. No complaints
Because I didnt want to be here all day I arrived an hour early. It has been two hours and I still have not been served. The young lady at the desk checking people in was slow and rude. I have asked to speak with a manager only to be told there isnt one here today. I was also told that I have to wait because of the service I am taking care of. This is not the process I was told yesterday. I was told to arrive early so I could be sure not to have to wait in a long line. In this day and age they are not being customer sensitive nor are they courteous. This has been a horrible experience....and I mean horrible
Very helpful and friendly staff
Absolutely ridiculous wait times. 1.5 hours to go inside, and can’t leave or risk being removed from the wait queue. Unable to give any sort of accurate wait times. Closed bathrooms. I really don’t have anything positive to state about this experience sadly.
They are the greatest, every time I needed them they were Johnny on the spot 🦾🦾
Very disappointed in what AAA has become. After being a member for many years, I doubt I will renew after my recent experience that involved getting help.
There was a 2 hour wait time for such a large place. I chose this over the North Hills branch because I thought it was easier to get service. I would go back but I might call first..thank you...
Treated me good
People here are very nice and I went along with a friend.
50 years of service i fine them to be very ifishance and reliable
I would give 0 if possible. Warning! Dont go after 4 because they will not give you service even though they are open until 5. We called to check their hours and no one warned us.We drove 40 minutes, the rude woman at the front said she would get her supervisor and never did.The people here are so ignorant, look and act unprofessional & disgusting. Most were on their phones, not working.
The food was terrible. The service was good. The drink was terrible. I will never go back there again
Even with covid restrictions I came in and renewed my ID, got a new picture and I was out in less than an hour!
I locked my keys, phone, Id and wallet in my car.. the woman on the phone was so nice and understanding and calming while I was in a panic, and the man that came out was so nice as well. he was here in 15 minutes and had my car open in 3. the lack of hassle today alone was well worth what I paid for membership. thank you!!!
Unfortunately i got a presigest helper. Really ignorant.
Under Quarantine restrictions wait times are longer
I also go to the site, because of the kind of customer service that I receive there they are number one with me.
We went to get our passport photos taken.
Very good! Battery replacement was a bit slow in arriving in the South Hills but they only had one unit do thats understandable. The tracking device for your phone is awesome!
My AAA east liberty, PA experience can only be described as above and beyond!!! Because of covid 19 the procedures were a lil different but I felt like they took positive extreme measures to make us feel very safe, which I did. The girls to check us in were extremely nice, welcoming, and knowledgable. They told us how many people are in front of you and ask you to wait outside. They text me within 15 minutes and I was on my way. Once I was social distanced for bout 7 minutes I was called up to a glass separated window and I was helped by 2 wonderful, knowledgable, intelligent woman who went way above and beyond my expectations. Chris Kailin and Judianne Marshall need to be recognized for being very helpful, informative, and making a confusing situation (for me)run smoothly and quickly! I am a 20yr service industry worker, training and managing persons on proper handling and speaking of the public and they get an infinite % (100%) on all aspects. AAA and the world need more people like them period!!!!, but definitely need more like them working with the public! These two women Chris Kaelin and Judianne Marshall need to be recognized more often and I hope this review goes along way!!!! I was there on Thursday Aug. 14, 2020 and had a great experience!!!
You have been sending me these mailings with wonderful deals in Plus membership, auto insurance and, more.I am a supporter of the paper work reduction act. If my annual membership is due send it. other than that if you have a great deal on plus membership trails, auto insurance, cruise to the islands or anything not directly pertinent to my membership plan I now have just open your window and whisper it to me. If Im interested in it Ill call YOU but, please dont call, dont write, just do the job that I paid for and, no more.If by chance I need something Ill call YOU.
Awesome people security guard ms Robin is the best
Staff at the main entrance Very Unprofessional and Nasty
AAA at Baum Blvd believes a VIN tracing document must be accompanied by a mechanic or a notary must inspect the vehicle. This is 100% false as clearly stated on the PA DoTs website:A tracing is obtained by placing tracing paper against the VIN plate and applying pressure with a lead pencil, stroking left to right across the entire surface of the VIN plate to produce on the paper an image of all information which has been embossed on the plate. If you are unable to locate your vehicles VIN plate or you are unable to secure a legible tracing of the plate, contact a certified inspection mechanic or notary public at a motor vehicle dealership. These individuals are authorized to inspect and verify the VIN when a tracing of the plate is not possible. The certified inspection mechanic or notary public must list their name, dealer identification number (DIN) or mechanic number and signature in Section A. (NOTE: A photograph of a vehicles VIN plate is acceptable if the photo is signed and dated by a certified inspection mechanic or a notary public at a dealership.) The certified inspection mechanic or notary publics signature indicates that he/she visually inspected the VIN on the vehicle and it matches the VIN on the out-of-state title. If the vehicle is located outside of Pennsylvania, the VIN must be verified by a police officer, a mechanic employed by a motor vehicle dealership or an armed forces installation provost marshal or motor officer.Avoid if possible.
Went there to get international drivers license. They were very efficient I was in and out in about 15 minutes. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. And they have free parking. The building they are in had beautiful designed, I think this is the nicest AAA office that Ive ever been in. And Maddy be the biggest.
I went to get my Drivers License renewed, and all things considered, my wait time was not all that long (about 20 min). Theres the obligatory extra fee if youre not a AAA member, but I cant complain about policy that I simply didnt read up on. Everyone there seemed like they were there to do their job and maintained a fairly professional atmosphere!
Signed up for AAA,awesome service
Necessary services like notary and registrations, but customer service is underwhelming.
Staff very nice and professional
Great ppl, quick service. No wonder the wait times are longer, everyone comes to this AAA branch
I had 2 wait for almost 2 hours to get my pictures taken for my ID when there was no one ahead of me 2 wait for & I was told that there was 1 person ahead of me
Usually pretty busy and a bit of a wait thats to be expected. The workers I had have been nice and deal with kids well. Clean building . Even with being busy still usually somewhere to sit and they got a charger station
Very nice service. I like that place . Friendly personal.
I called at 3:40 asking if they had notary services and was told that they did and they were open until 5. I showed up at 4 and was told they had hit their work capacity and they couldn’t help anyone else because they had too many people waiting and they leave at 5. If I was told that 20 minutes earlier on the phone, I would have gone somewhere else. This place is a joke.
Fast
Pleasant Hills AAA, has a wonderful, caring staff. I know because I was a former employee. They work hard, branch specialists for all your Penndott needs except the real ID, insurance, travel and ERS emergency road service. Will always be a member.
Friendly service.
Staff was knowledgeable and courteous. Wait time was short and request was handled expeditiously
Took a long time to get a document notarized, but people were very nice.
Worst experience ever! Not only was the wait to be seen over 2 hrs, I finally got my 85 yr old grandfather to the camera card area, and the machine stops working. Neither of the 2 people working here know how to fix it. So we are sitting here, waiting on the picture, and they are about to close at 3pm. For whatever reason they can’t get any support over the phone, and can’t log back in. And of course they only have 1 screen. So 2 people staring at 1 screen with no idea what to do.
Staff at the notary side moves a such ainslie pace something simple as getting a registration for a vehicle takes 30 mins
Very well run.
