This group was phenomenal. I went in for a state inspection. I still had the temporary sticker on my vehicle and had just recently received my permanent registration and license plate which were sitting on my passenger seat.They did the inspection quickly and when I returned they had put my permanent plate on for me and I didnt even have to ask them to do it.During the inspection, my windshield wipers failed (which was absolutely to be expected based on the performance of my windshield wipers at the time lol)When the representative called to tell me I mentioned to him that I had been nervous about a vibration that I had been feeling as well. Despite the fact that they had already finished the inspection, he went and took another look just to assure me.The price was less than I had expected as well.

Ive always had a great experience here, the staff are friendly. Usually pretty quick service with reasonable prices too. The location is great for those who live downtown.

We’re from out of town visiting our son. We took his Jeep in for servicing and to replace a tire sensor. We noticed that this Goodyear store was rated as one of the top ten auto repair shops in Pittsburgh. After our experience with Harry at the desk, I understand why. Harry answered all my questions and I never felt that he was trying to sell us a service we didn’t need. The next time we need auto service in Pittsburgh, this Goodyear store will be our choice.

My front tire was losing air slowly but we didn’t know why. We called and immediately got an appointment since we wanted to leave that day for a long car trip. They checked out the tire (which had a screw embedded in the tred!), patched it for free, and got it done in a reasonable amount of time. Doug helped us through the process and was very nice and understanding. Recommend!

My car started having issues in the middle of a cross-country drive and the team at Goodyear took great care of me to get me back on the road extremely quickly (only 2-3 hours to investigate and repair and I did not have an appointment). Car was back up and running as good as new and at a reasonable price. The team was very helpful and put an extra technician on my car to make the fix quickly. Very grateful for the excellent team at Goodyear and would highly recommend this location.

This location is very convenient if you work downtown. Everyone who works there is amazing, professional and honest. Ive taken my jeep here for years as well as all of my previous cars and never once had any problems or questioned anything. Highly recommend.

Be careful. I was very fortunate to literally ”roll” by this location as my brand new, 3 week old tire was leaking air from a nail in the tread. I was grateful that they were able to accommodate me same day. Immediately, I was told that my Goodyear tire roadside hazard warranty would not be honored as I purchased my tires elsewhere - though I knew this was not the case. After a quick phone call with Goodyear I had a claim filed and everything paid for. Service was quick, but service providers told me I needed 2 front headlights and a rear headlight replaced. I asked them to hold off and when I inspected the car myself, every single light was fully functional. I’m grateful for the efficient service, but make sure that if you bring your car here you have an understanding of exactly what needs done, why it needs done, and what it should cost you.

I got an oil change service yesterday, I totally satisfied with the service. Especially, Mechanic Mr. Jaeyoon, his attitude was awesome. I strongly recommend to visit and fix your car at here.

We are from Columbus and were heading back this morning through snow. We needed wiper fluid and new wiper blades and Goodyear was able to get us in before our drive and fix that, despite them being primarily a tire changing company. They also topped off our tires. We feel much safer heading back through the snow!

Very convenient if you work or live in downtown area; I just dropped the car off on the morning and picked it up after work.Friendly staff, efficient service, and fair price.Quick advice: I do not suggest waiting there for your car to be ready even though their online scheduling system gives you the option. Inspection takes some time.I will be back every year :)Original review 2019:The review is mostly about the wait time. I was happy with the inspection service (cost $80 for safety and emission and I passed but I should say my car is only a year old). However, when I book an appointment online I chose the option that Ill be waiting for my car and it gave me an estimation of one hour wait time. Drop off the car about 10:15 am, the guy there told me it takes at least 3 hours and so I left, received the car from them at 4 pm that car is ready.Bottom line: Assume you dont have the car for a full day. I am new to PA, and maybe its a Pittsburgh thing. What is the purpose of making the appointment then if they keep the car all day??

I should have gone to the zoo and had a monkey service my car instead. Brought the vehicle in for a slue of issues, lights on, brake problems, etc. Mechanics claim they cant find the problem anywhere. Working like a charm they say. Take back my car and 20 mins later it breaks down on the side of the road. What a bunch of geniuses. Took the car to a local repair shop who said they cant believe Goodyear let me get back in the vehicle to begin with. Other shop fixed it immediately at a fair cost.

I have taken my car in for routine maintenance and thought something was wrong twice and both times they did the maintenance and looked at what I thought was an issue and found nothing. No charge, no selling me stuff, just make sure my car was safe! How many places do that!Great customer service, friendly HONEST staff!!

Told me I needed $3000 worth of work to pass inspection. Took it to a mom and pop mechanic. $174 out the door inspected.

Waited all day for inspection/oil change. Dropped off at 9am. Picked up at 3:30 pm. Was told still needed some minor brake work and would need to bring back. Couldnt take me until Monday following week and my vehicle would be past inspection date. Even failed to do oil change. Took to different garage the same week and was told brakes were fine. Will not be returning to Goodyear

Had 2 tires and an oil change done. There was a loose heat shield that the tech fixed for me and the mysterious rattling stopped! Awesome people and customer service. Highly recommend.

Easy to find and they have a good sized parking lot. They kept me informed and had my new tire on by early afternoon.

Got my car inspected, the oil changed and brakes serviced last week because it was close and convenient to work. Clean bill of health, but then the last two days my engine started overheating, and this morning my car gave me three service warnings and wont go faster than 2 mph. Im not sure if its something as simple as they may have used the wrong oil when they did the oil change, or what happened. At any rate, I would never recommend this garage no matter how close or convenient it is.

I just moved to this city and got a bolt in my tire with all the construction going on so I need a tire repair... Im 0-2 with business listing their incorrect hours.. this place closes at 530 not 6 and they stop accepting at 430... oh how I miss hard work and customer satisfaction from the west coast they would take cars in all the way up till close and sometimes work after to accommodate customers which kept people coming back

The service I received was probably fine. The price for the parts wasnt great, but the price that was charged for labor was ridiculous. I took my car in to get new brakes & rotors. The entire job was done in less than 3 hours, but I was charged $400+ for labor. When I asked how this is possible, even after I was told that their hourly rate maxes out at $96/hour, I was met with a blank stare.Very disappointed with this. I understand how hourly billing works, and that maybe their system is set up to bill for X hours per each part of the job, but this is still crazy. Maybe its not a unique business practice, but I definitely wont be going back.Some local shop deserves my business more, and will get it next time.

My cars tire unfortunately ran over a nail, called GoodYear up, they got me into the shop super quick and didnt charge me a penny! Great people. Oil changes here are great prices as well!

I have had trouble in the past finding a mechanic or location I can trust. I have always feared I am being taken advantage of. This Goodyear is the best place I have ever been to. They found an issue with my car and called the dealership to find out there was a recall on that part. They had it towed for me because they said it was too unsafe to drive and did not want me getting into an accident. They went above and beyond to help me with my car. I will never go anywhere else.

Ive been using this shop for two decades for all of my tires and some of my state inspections. No real problems, good service, nice guys. Very good track record over time.

Two times this week I just wanted this nail out of my tire. They cant even find a few spare minutes to help. They offer to help me five days later. Never mind Ill go elsewhere

Took in for inspection and was told brakes rotors needed turning and truck cap brake light wasnt working. I had them do the brakes but was told it would be $96 to diagnose the light, even though I told them it was a loose wire that could be easily spliced . I took it home and fixed it myself and brought it back to get the final OK. That took another 45 minutes just for them to check the light and get the sticker info completed. Bottom line is avoid this place and save yourself lots of money and tome.
