I took my car here after a minor collision. The people I interacted with were very professional, an they did a great job on the repair. Bonus: The building is clean and well-landscaped! Pleasantly different from other shops I’ve been to.

We had had City Collision repair our car several years ago, and turned to them again this time around after State Farm listed other shops to use for claims. The other shops were way out of town, and they didn’t communicate with us in a timely manner. City Collision is conveniently located (if you live in the city of Pittsburgh) and close to public transportation. They got us a repair estimate quickly, dealt with State Farm on our behalf, and to top it off, finished the job 5 days early!! You can’t beat that for great service!

Ive never had the *ahem* pleasure of having my car hit and subsequently needing to go through insurance to repair body work. Our door was smashed in by a moving van while parked. We had options about who to work with through our insurance, and we chose City Collision. They did such a great job! I cant believe how painless the process was. They were incredibly friendly and professional. It took a bit longer than originally planned because the part that came in was not up to their standards. Id rather wait and have it be done right! My car looks great. I hope I never need their services again, but if I do, Ill know who to call!

Do NOT use this shop for repairs. I had read previous reviews on Google which are mostly positive and because they participate with my insurance company for easy service, I chose them. Here is a list of all the problems:1. They misquoted on the first estimate. They didn’t do enough research on the vehicle to determine what type of paint was on it and they underwrote the estimate for paint. I’m pretty sure this info is included in the VIN.2. They don’t communicate. Any communication about my vehicle while it was in repair was initiated by me. Originally this was a drop off Monday, pickup by Friday job. They never called to say they weren’t meeting that deadline. I called them and they had a parts delay. I get it. It’s a pandemic. But a call would have helped. When I called them this week, they decided the part they ordered (and my insurance company paid for) they decided not to use because they could fix it for less. They also broke a part disassembling the bumper cover. Not sure why I have to pay for that. Annoying. The car was ready for pickup yesterday.3. They added a service for a detail. I found out what was included in the detail (machine wax, interior wipe down, tire shine) and decided to leave it in. The car wasn’t detailed at all. Tires weren’t shiny. The inside was filthy.4. The work was shoddy at best. Dishonest at worst. The “repair” of the bumper cover wasn’t even done right. It’s cracked. You can’t repair a crack in plastic. Why they thought that would ever work I don’t know. See the pictures for more info. They also did a very poor job painting the bumper (the sensor cover hole is embarrassingly bad). This was a minor repair and they somehow made it look worse. Picture attached.5. The manager, Mike, got my email but never responded. Jonah, the employee I spoke to today, and throughout the process, told me he’s only been there since December — assuming that was an excuse? My concern was how this was missed in a quality inspection. I mean, it’s clear damage. Obviously no one looked at it.6. They bribe people for 5 star reviews by offering a free detail. The card is in your paperwork packet.The shop has agreed to replace the bumper cover (with the part they ordered and my insurance company paid for) and to refund the detail. It’s supposed to go back Monday. Todd was the technician who worked on it. If you do decide to use them, make sure you request someone else. I’ll update my review if they satisfactorily complete the new repair. Either way, I don’t have to pay anyone else. I can take it to another shop and my insurance company will do a chargeback to City Collision for all the work they poorly completed.

They are really good at communicating about the process and met their deadlines. They also cannot bring themselves to take a short-cut. Great at body work, paint and detailing. Very happy!

We went for Honda Accord bumper change quotation. The price was reasonable and also the crew were kind enough to make temporary fix until its replaced with new one. The work is done very perfectly in less time.

This was my first time here, and I had a great experience. The repairs done on my SUV were top notch. My vehicle looked totally brand new. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. The whole process went very smoothly. They even coordinated with the rental car company so that I didnt have too. My repair was also finished ahead of schedule. I got into a totally shocking fender bender that had me so mad and inconvenienced. It was filed as no fault of mine, but was still a huge stressor, as collisions always are. These guys made things SO much easier than I was expecting and it was just what I needed at a time of inconvenience. They worked seamlessly with my insurance and car rental companies. The body repairs are perfect and I opted for a detail too, which makes my vehicle feel like new! This was a meeting of unfortunate necessity, but I plan on using them in the future for all body or mechanical fixes. Cant say enough.

The shop, office and waiting area was well lit and clean. I was there for a wheel alignment and there was a problem with my car. It didnt take them long to diagnose my problem. They could have taken care of the problem but I preferred to have my own mechanic take of my car. They operate using insurance claims and warranties.

Is it okay body shop, that is if you want an unfinished product or one thats not looking so great.I picked up my car yesterday I couldnt look at it really because it was raining, go to look at it today theres chunks of paint missing the absorber horns for the bumper support werent even painted when theyre supposed to be the color of my car. The front bumper is not clipped in correctly and it has running paint down the right side in front of the tire The hood has a bunch of blemishes on it where they repaired I can honestly say I will probably be looking for a new body shop after this very very disappointed.

Took my car here in December of 2020 to repair my front bumper and some damage to hood. City Collision always does a great job as I’ve been here numerous times of the years and wouldn’t think of going somewhere else if I needed collision repair. Very professional and friendly, great communication, great facilities and fair and upfront about all work and fees. As an added bonus, if you have State Farm they are part of the State Farm select service network so makes the process even easier.

I had a bunch of front end damage. They put new bumper, new headlights and all the front wnd parts and painted the front 2/3 of my car. Looks decent. However they couldnt find a new hood so they fixed the current one. Not bad, looks decent, they left some dents in it and it doesnt fit perfectly but not an issue. To paint they must have taken off the doors and broke all the clips in the door panels. The speakers and everything just sit loose, dangling where theyre supposed to be. For simple paint and small easy jobs Im sure they can be trusted to do great work. They also were excellent at letting me know what was happening with it as the work progressed.

CC breaks the stereotypical mold one usually envisions when it comes to anything auto repair related. They were polite & affably professional. Did ALL the secretarial grunt work from start to finish. All I had to do was show up & sign. Junior, in particular, stood out to me as being interpersonally invested in my satisfaction in a friendly, non-invasive manner. Recommended, for sure.

I took my Kia Optima in for damage to the driver side doors. One of the panels needed to be completely replaced. The car looks like the accident never happened. Paint and body are immaculate. Also, City Collision was fully integrated with the insurance, rental car company, and the dealership for follow up issues from the accident. I was even able to drop my rental car there when picking up my car which saved me the hassle of returning it.

City Collision was recommended by the insured insurance company. This was my first experience with City Collision and I have to admit, I was a bit leery as I had never used them before. My front bumper was badly damaged due to road resurfacing that was being done in my neighborhood. I have used other repair shops in the past, however, I have never been treated better or had my repair handle by truly professional and caring employees at any other collision repair center. They replaced my entire bumper, the paint matched perfectly. I was a bit concerned because my vehicle is a 2017, WV convertible with a special color paint, called Habenaro. But, they reassured me that they could match the paint and seriously my new bumper looks like nothing ever happened. The staff is extremely friendly, professional and helpful, they turned this unfortunate accident into an amazing experience. When I picked up my car it was immaculately clean, they didnt miss one square inch of my car, it looked fantastic! I highly recommend City Collision and they have earned my business for life. City Collision is one of the most professional and well-run businesses that I have dealt with, not only in Pittsburgh, but across the country. Unfortunately for me, I have had to use their services at least 8 times over the years. Every time they have delivered first class work to my cars and quite honestly they seem to always have it ready before the date that they tell you at check-in. I have referred them to countless family members and friends, who are also very happy with their work and professionalism. The shop area and waiting area are always spotless, which tells me that the owners know everything about the full customer experience. And again, they make the vehicle look like new because their commitment to the highest quality repairs is so high.

Their work looks great but seems rushed on the assembly. My gas tank cover doesnt pop open on its own now and someone likely put my wheel lugs back on with an air tool because they were way over torqued. Besides that the work looks great. 3/5 for rushing and not using a torque wrench.

This was possibly the best experience I have ever had with a body shop. The shop is super clean and bright. The guys in the office are professional and personable. They got me in and out quickly. I opted to upgrade to a deep interior cleaning (along with the cleaning that they provide) and my car felt almost brand new. For a minute I thought I had gotten into the wrong vehicle, it was that much cleaner! I highly recommend City Collision (though I hope to never need their body repair services again!). I will be back for that interior cleaning!

This company is listed as a select service provider for State Farm insurance. I appreciate their promptness in answering telephone calls and in person customer service. Their lack of follow-up and failure to answer my emails lead me to select another company as I do not have time to go back and forth attempting to get a simple answer. I’m so happy with how everything turned out - looks brand new honestly. Not only that, my car was so clean inside and out. During the time it was at City Collision, they (JJ) would call to update me on what was going on with the car, etc. The communication was consistent and good.
