Stopped in by chance on a rainy Tuesday night.What a gem we found!Excellent personalized service, delicious food, delightful owner and authentic decor. We will definitely return. It is down to earth, quality restaurants like this we need to support.

Food was absolutely amazing, but the lack of staff was a little concerning. There was a young gentleman working as hard as he can trying to attend a party of like 20 as well as other tables upstairs by himself. Also there was only 1 cook for the whole restaurant. The wait was a little long but it was worth the wait. The food was delicious and the hookah was great. Definitely will come back

The falafel wrap with eggplant is AWESOME!! Can’t beat this price for baklava. By the time I ordered they were out of tabouli but replaced it with a tasty salad I had never had - happy to try something new. Friendly and clear on the phone.

Not worth the $$. First they bring instant coals, not coco unless u ask for it. Second, a double Apple hookah should last at least 1 and a half hours, not 20 minutes. For people who have smoked in KSA and Kuwait, don’t waste your money.

I love the food here it’s amazing it’s hard found Arabic food and Hookah in same time in Philly with this quality the Chicken Shawarma it’s amazing test . Hookah perfect 👍 and they are Professional I am from Dubai and this place like there I recommend it and they have Bellydancer night on Saturday I will come back soon 🥰

Delicious Jordanian/Mediterranean food at fair prices. Our server and the owner were extremely pleasant and attentive. This is the perfect place to go with some friends or a date, bring your own bottle of wine, and order a bunch of fun appetizers. We ordered the baba ghanouj, spicy labneh and Greek salad. The tomato kufta entree, and kanafa dessert were also fantastic. There’s a lounge on the second floor also for hookah/performances. I’ll be back here for sure. They take great care of you here.

Was a great place, great hookah i’m a starbuzz blue mist fan, just prefer natural coal than the fast igniting ones they use but that didn’t really affect my experience, drinks was great, and the surprise was the belly dancer show on the weekend.They just need more help with the orders as the guys there was going head over heals and things was going kinda slow, but still was good and one thing work for another.

On June 5th a group of us visited this establishment for a night of fun. Our group consisted of 7 people and we ordered hookah along with food. My particular order was a salad and the other group ordered wings, lamb chops, grilled shrimp and another salad. Lets just say that people who came in after us were being served before our food even came out. Additionally it took our hookahs at least 30 minutes to be brought out to the table and I requested coconut coals for at least 45 minutes before the server finally came to replace my coals. Additionally it took at least 1 hour and 30 minutes for all the food to be delivered to our table. I have never waited that long for a salad. Additionally he forgot my friends salad so overall she waited at least 1 hour and 45 minutes for some lettuce and olives. When we originally arrived at this location, their was only about six people inside. It also seemed as if the one server was responsible for waiting on all the tables which was unacceptable. The only reason why I am giving two stars is because of the belly dancing entertainment. The belly dancer hyped up the crowd and helped to ease the hunger in my stomach for waiting so long to get my salad. This place probably would do really well if they had adequate staff. However because of this particular experience, I probably wont return any time soon.

Stopped here on a trip to Philly. Excellent food and great hookah. Ive been to hookah cafes all over the USA and even in the middle east, and I was thoroughly pleased. Free wifi and chill atmosphere on a weeknight.

Large portions with lots of choice, lovely staff very welcoming, had set menu which gives you a taste of everything. Best Hookah at 2nd floor with good music . I will make my birthday party there soon also on Saturday night they have Bellydancer .

Its located in a really nice area, however parking is hard to find. The food itself was ok. It didnt have enough seasoning and the tahini sauce tasted a bit watered down. The dessert was delicious. The astomosphere was really nice though as was the waitress and the gentlemen who took my order. All in all I may visit again to try something else, but not anytime soon.

I am so looking forward to coming back here. These guys were so nice when I went in a few weeks ago. I got takeout. Firstly, I had a true feeling of surprise, a true extraordinary experience when I tasted the labneh appetizer. Just an extraordinary flavor. Felt similarly about the dessert, a sweet dessert made with cheese with a name that escapes me. Very, very good experience.

So I grew up eating beef and chicken shawarma in the middle east. After middle east so far better shawarma I had was some place at Philly . I’M think I will rank this place after that. I love it so much here .Also Mixed grill with vegetables so yummy super Delicious and I was order to go always but Today I try Dine in super clean and Professional Middle eastern in philly you feel you eating with Jordanian culture not same anther restaurants, they was not fully stuff but they do the best to get best Service . I support this restaurant because you can’t found this kind and best menu in here .don’t forget to order Mix labnah for Appetizers.

We ordered Smoked Beef Shawarma. From the description on the Alamodak menu, one would think that the main ingredient is beef. We were wrong! The main ingredient was onions, while beef was the topping. All my bites had onions instead of beef. I have been eating shawarma for over twenty years. This shawarma was the most rip-off shawarma I have ever had. Two stars because the bread tasted good.

It is not easy to find a good shawarma and Falafel place in the philly area. When I found this place and finished my falafel pita bread I knew I’ll be back again. Hummus, pickles, fries, etc best Service and very friendly Recommended 100% Thank you Alamodak To be in Philly

Had a fun night here. Patio was initially full but they made quick arrangements to accommodate us by adding an additional table for hookah. The owner, Francisco, and the chef delivered excellent customer service- we enjoyed our complimentary cake! Looking forward to coming back to this spot in our neighborhood.

Alamodak is great. My personal favorite hookah spot in Philly. Its one of the most relaxed atmospheres to sit with a person, alone, or a group and simply converse without feeling crowded or rushed. The staff is truly immersed in the art, culture, and spiritual aspects of hookah. Though you cannot bring outside beverages you can bring food in and aside from the aspects of conversation and relaxation - you get a great energy and education if you so please. My family and I are new to the neighborhood and are so lucky and grateful this place is right around the corner. Second time in less than 3 weeks we come to have dinner and the menu has been consistently delicious with awesome service as other reviews had mentioned. Would highly recommend the fried cauliflower app and the hummus is very authentic. Atmosphere is very cozy, a little escape with great food in the neighborhood.

My favorite hookah spot! I drive from New Jersey to go here and always love the new flavors I try. If you haven’t tried their hummus or cheese fries, you’re missing out! The inside is beautiful and the new addition they added upstairs looks awesome.

The food is not the greatest or good at all. Nearly an empty restaurant and took about an hour if not more to get my food. The waitress kept bringing the meals separately. We went as a group and it would have been nice if everyone got the meals at the same time. Not a place I would recommend to go out and eat. Food was very bland, a couple pieces of chicken on a giant plate of rice....

Great experience with a knowledgeable waitress to assist us through the menu. We started off with the pitcher of sangria, and took our time picking through the menu. The menu is clear to read, with all tapas categorized in meat, seafood, or veggie. They also had entree options, but we stuck to the tapas side. Definitely try the scallops! You wont be disappointed.

Hands down the best hookah bar in Philly. Great customer service and people who genuinely care about your experience while there.Parking is great in the area. Prices are great. BYOB and great for group meetings. Just stop in and youll see first hand. I popped in once and it quickly became my favorite spot. Definitely a hidden gem.

Horrible experience, if you’re going for food please save your money and go elsewhere. Absolutely tasteless, no one was there we should have known better. The lamp chops tasted like plastic will never return, way over priced for what they offer, there are much better offerings in the area.

We just had my first birthday party at Alamodak. To begin with, the place meets my number one requirement: clean. Second: the concept of the place is so wonderful. There are so many different themed rooms and activities for every one. We opted for the birthday package with buffet that gave us exclusive use of the entire facility. This was FABULOUS. I had about 15 adults . I have ever been to this place and all of my guests agreed. While the food can get pricey, it was probably because I over-overdered as I tend to do for large gatherings. The good news is that the food is actually good quality and delicious. The staff was on top of everything for service and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place and would definitely have another private party here again. The first birthday party is a big deal to me and this was so special thanks to the great venue and helpful staff. I went to this restaurant last week with my friend from Jordan. To surprise this is the best Mediterranean food that I have ever tried so far! Never had such a tasty hummus, stake and salads. They also have a very entertaining hookah place upstairs with great music, really nice environment for friendly get together. Staff was very nice & professional. Highly recommend to those who wants to have a great time either during weekends or weekdays! 👍👍👍

I was there on Wednesday and I had a good time there. Their food was good. Im also giving 5 stars because of the girl who was serving us I believe her name was Asel, she was really nice, she makes some real good hookah and even tho it was real busy but she still can handle it, work hard and be so helpful.

Great new menu items, the first floor great for family time and kids they have tv down stairs and will let you watch anything you want for the kids, they enjoyed the Disney+ while we ate and they are BYOB. You must come in and try the food the staff is amazing the the prices are reasonable for the amount for the portions they serve you.

The food is awful price is expensive for food that isn’t great and not fresh our food tasted like it was from yesterday honestly disgusting. The only reason this restaurant even has any good reviews was because they give you free dessert if you give them 5 starts don’t fall for it and don’t waste your money if you wanna go smoke hookah it’s alright but the food is not fresh and takes forever they need a better chef.

Its a very authentic restaurant with a basic Jordanian selection of foods, The hummus is amazing, fresh, warm and served with delicious pita, olives oil. The small hummus is more than enough for 1 person and they have large hummus .They have English menus and Arabic as well and have a nice indoor area to sit and enjoy your food at first floor! If you want a taste of Middle Eastern, this is the place to go! 10/10 would eat the hummus again and Falafel .on next week i am going to order food for my event because also they catering .

Great service and delicious food! I got the mixed grill dish, which was delicious and definitely large enough for two people. The sauce on the rice and the meat really made the meal. The hallom salad was a little salty for my taste, but the lamb hummus and matabel were tasty. The staff was very friendly.

17 SEP 2017 a wonderful experience for my family. The food was outstanding - I had a meal primarily groats and lentils with fried onions woven masterfully within the foundation. It was topped with a few roasted slivered almonds. A side of yogurt and a salad. Every bite was a delight. The other dishes that my family ordered were equally delightful and the coconut based desert was to cry for. I will be back.

The setting is pretty nice, but the food is mediocre at best. And the staff is best described as indifferent. Even though we were the only ones in the restaurant, they didnt check in on us. They also brought out our two main courses 15 minutes apart without warning, explanation or excuse.
