Breakfast sandwich was stacked!! Great potatoes with green peppers and onions too... definitely will revisit them... A lot of places give you small amounts of sausage and egg but not them, sandwich was excellent..nice surprise 👍🏽😁👏🏽

We are from Cincinnati & we vacation in Philadelphia we from this diner on google good choice the food was so damn good. We ate there twice once with my niece & the second time with just me & my husband. Our new favorite place to eat. And if you go there please try their smoothie❤❤❤❤❤.

Me and my friend came for brunch and were STUFFED when we came out. prices are super reasonable and servers are very nice and understanding. can get a little loud, but personally i don’t mind; it just adds to the lively atmosphere

This place is small but the prices and food are good.My partner and I had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. We arrived shortly after 10am and after checking in at the counter, we sat down at an open table.This place only takes cash but there is an ATM inside that charges a fee of $2 or you can go next door to the Credit Union to use that atm.It was very crowded so it took the waitress some time to get to us to take our order and then a bit of a wait to get our food but it was worth it.We plan to come back and try other options on the menu.

I was looking for a breakfast place this morning and I stumbled upon this diner. I ordered something very basic even thought the items on their menu looked really good. Not only did the items on the menu look and sound good, but it had the taste to back it up. To add the cherry on top, I had left my wallet in their restaurant and they kept it safe for me. When I called them about it, they even offered to meet with me to get my wallet back even thought the store had closed. I’m so thankful for the owners for being so kind and I will 100% be eating there again.

Great little cafe on Germantown Ave. Popped in here for breakfast and was glad I did. The staff were friendly, and the food was delicious.

Ive missed this place since Covid, the service is attentive and kind. The food is good and the Mama Tea/ sick tea is worth two cups. Definitely give this place a try.

My husband and I dinned-in on a Sunday around brunch time. We could tell that this was a popular spot as it was busy with locals coming in and out for pick up orders and dining in. The food was delicious and the waitress was great, however we were very disappointed when our coffee and hot tea came out in styrofoam cups and were given plastic utensils that I could barely cut my waffle with. I understand getting these for a to-go order, but this was different. These things are obviously so wasteful and it didn’t make sense when we normally get real glassware and silverware at any restaurant that is easily washed and reused, even during covid. Despite the food and service being great, the single-use materials were a dealbreaker and we will not be returning. 😕

Love their portions and freshness. French toasts and turkey bacon and eggs over easy are my favorites.Their ice coffee is also delicious and the home made chocolate cake is a must to have.They have delicious korean food on Tuesdays.The owner is super friendly and it has a family atmosphere.Great place to eat casual american foods.

Got here at 7:00am. Ordered Sul-lung-tang Early Morning Special. It was great. Comes with kimchi, kkak-doo-ki and side of jalapeño and onion in wasabi soy for dipping meat. Just a great combination of all. Will be back!

Wow! Great breakfast. I wasnt expecting the food to be as good as it was. They prepared everything just the way I requested. Hash perfectly crisp, over light eggs just right, the grits were full of flavor and the fish was delicious. literally tastes like it was made in my kitchen. 😋💫

Wow, just got a cup of coffee and something small to eat and the staff was nice. My food came out fast as well. So fast that I was confused. My coffee was delicious. Friendly waitress who helped me while I was waiting in line for takeout. Also, they offer fresh fruit which is a plus. Some people want something healthy to eat and not a plate of cholesterol.

Stayed at an Airbnb in the area. Was looking for a neighborhood breakfast place. It was great. Not too bad to find street parking. You can sit at the counter or the table. Food was amazing. Friendly servers. Classic diner feel, where you can see all the food being made.

Googled “breakfast near me” and this was the closest one so I came here. Immediately got good vibes from this place. Staff was very sweet and accommodating. I got western omlette and extra crispy home fries. BEST. HOMEFRIES. EVER. They cooked them perfectly and all the food was amazing. I also love that they gave me a Louisiana buffalo sauce. Great great food and very cheap!! Highly recommended

Extremely unorganized and rood staff there is a line out the door with people still pushing through and going to the counter and the owner and staff give 0 details on where to order or pick up it’s basically a battle royal for some French Toast and bacon.

Staying in Philly from out of town for a convention. Really got lucky finding this place. The food was amazing, great portions, great taste, and you cant beat the price. The place was pretty busy and I can see why. If youre anywhere in a 10 mile radius of this place for any reason I recommend you stop in. Oh and get the burrito!

A quaint little diner with smiling, friendly faces and fast-paced service. It was a joy to visit this eatery and I would highly recommend our server, Joelle to any hungry patron. They use to be good. My French toast was so soggy with butter, my eggs wet from the bread. And I know I said plain, no butter, no sugar. I guess the grits were fine cuz they were in a separate container.

Love this spot - the cute barrel front is just the beginning. They have indoor seating and then a back patio that is killer (string lights / the works). Our server was Braxton and he was great - super attentive and friendly. We came for happy hour (which is 3-7) and had wine ($6), an old fashion and fries. We will DEFINITELY be back. The patio is great for groups. Amazing ambiance and great service.

I been going here for a couple of yrs and the food is good. The only two complaint that I have is that, I always order the grilled salmon breakfast platter with home fries or grits and eggs. I noticed awhile ago that the price went up and the size of the salmon shrunk. My second complaint is that they need to be a little more organized when it comes to their seating arrangements; either you show the customer to the table or they can walk in and sit where there is a spot. I went there with a friend and a child and after we made the waitress aware that we were eating in this guy walked in with his kid and sat right down and the waitress didnt even do anything when I bought it to here attention. I havent been back since.

Totaling ~$14 Got burned wings, a single pickle on the burger the size of your finger nail, and 4C Lemonade powder for their Fresh Lemonade.Used to be a good shop. But now its utterly garbage.Do not recommend but the Asian cashier made the service a bit better by reducing the price a bit after we complained.Overall. Service was a 3/5cooking was a 1/5

I have visited this locale several several times. I may need to take out rather than eating as its always a little crowded and its not really designed for crowds as there is not appropriate seating. Upon my last visit I dont know I felt like the person that waited on me was treating me a little indifferent. as I watched several people order after me and then receive their food and depart before me was a little concerningI sat for a little while longer finally getting up and asking the owner okay where my lonely sandwich was you know I had ordered it about 30 minutes ago she said she called it out I heard nothing as there was so many people within the place it needs to be managed a little better than it is with big crowds. Horrible horrible horrible! I ordered from Door Dash and when I called the restaurant to confirm my order the line was either busy or no one answered. It took them over an hour to get my order together. They lied and blamed everything on door dash but the driver was sitting outside waiting for my order for 40 minutes! when I got my order part of it was missing. My husbands sausage was undercooked. They cooked my eggs wrong and our grits were hard and cold. When I called and spoke to the manager he was rude refused to hear what I had to say and talked over me the whole time. He says he giving me a refund and I will NEVER eat there again. Absolutely disgusting food and service.

I come here with my 5 and 8 year old granddaughters. They love what they get, which is almost the same each time.The fruit covered waffle is their go to, most mornings. The wait staff is generally very attentive, even remembering to give me a black coffee as soon as we arriveDid I mention that theyre 5 and 8?With the coffees help, I even get to read to my 5 year grand from her chapter book while we wait.Dont need pictures for these memories.

I live in the neighborhood and I have been eating it for years they are courteous kind and will go above and beyond to make sure that you are satisfied some of the waitresses to have better attitudes but if you speak to them about it they always apologize and do a better job next time

I really want to like this place.Just attempted to eat a grilled cheese with bacon and tomato. The bread was as hard as a rock. I coulf not eat it. The bacon was not cooked. Last week I stopped in to have breakfast with the hubby and has the same issue with the bacon . I enjoy supporting businesses in our community but, oh well. Pros The woman who took my phone order for grill cheese was polite on the phone.

Not a horrible place, but definitely doesnt deserve to be close to 5 stars. Prices are good. Ive only tried crab cakes and breakfast burrito, and it was probably the worst Ive ever had of both. Waitresses are nice and do their jobs good. The decor is tacky. Hand made menu signs from printer paper. I will most likely try the place again, but I wont be recommending it until it redeems itself to at least 3.5Try for yourself and prove me wrong!

Very busy neighborhood lunch counter. Breakfast menu with lots of familiar favorites ; waffles, pancakes, omelets. My egg white veggie omelette was a nice serving size and veggies were not overcooked. Worth a trip for a very casual meal to start the day.

The food is good, but I contracted contact dermatitis on the back of my legs almost instantly after sitting down in the restaurant. I have no idea what was on the chair that caused the reaction, but I had to be prescribed a steroid medication to stop the rash. I would not recommend the dine-in experience. But if you do dine-in be sure to wear long bottoms.

I used to be a regular here. I would come from Upper Darby just to get their cheese egg platter with turkey bacon and home fries. I just went in there last week and was disappointed. The eggs were still good. But the homefries were extremely bland and like they may have been from the day before. The turkey bacon was ok. I just wasnt satisfied with it as I normally am. They are very friendly though but I just wouldnt go fighting traffic for this food anymore 🙁

It was suuuper busy, which is to be expected on a Sunday for brunch. I had a waffle, turkey sausage patties, and grits. The waffle was disappointingly just okay - it wasnt anything to write home about, which surprised me cuz mom and pops are usually really good. I liked the sausage and the grits were okay also.
