Great deals on appliances. We bought a house and are redoing the kitchen, so we needed a full set of kitchen appliances. We found some great deals here, but due to my own foolishness, I realized that the fridge I got was too large for the space! The manager, Andrew, was incredibly accomodating and allowed us to exchange the fridge. Just a really cool move, and saved out butts. Thanks, Andy; I hope I never have to remodel a kitchen again, but if I do I know where Im coming for appliances.

Hello,Order number SO804546Store number 8279Date of purchase 10/19/2020I am VERY disappointed with american freight ans their services. I have purchased a wall microwave oven in October 2020 and had also purchased the 3 year master protection agreement along with it.Unfortunately, the microwave stopped working a month ago. You would think that it would just be a matter of calling them to have your microwave fixed but I am sad to say that it is not the case.For the last month, I have called american freight at least twice every week (so at least 8 calls) and I have been told the exact same thing every time. That is, we are sorry we didn’t have your information, we have updated our system, please call back in 3 to 4 days. Needless to say that I keep calling every 4 days only to get told that they have emailed the corporate office regarding the issue but haven’t heard back yet. And this is the same thing I have been told over the last 2 weeks. Then they ask me to call back again.At this point, my frustration has reached its limit as I am not able to benefit from the services I have paid upfront to americanfreight. To this day, October 28, 2021 which is over a month since I have placed my first call to americanfreight for them to get my microwave fixed, nothing has been done. I would thus simply like to get my money refunded to me as the service that I have paid for hasn’t been delivered.I require immediate assistance as the purpose of buying a protection plan is to be protected but in this case, I am sadly noticing that I am not protected.This is a nothing but a scam.

Placed an order online for an in stock item. Selected a delivery for 3 days away. Was sent a confirmation email that said someone will contact you with in 24 hours. After 24 hours I call the number no one at the store picks up. Called the 887 number Rachel told me “sometimes we forget to call customers” spokeWith a manger who informed me they do not have a delivery option forThe Philadelphia location. Pick up only. Horrible! If you want to be treated as though you’re invisible, then have it. The service is atrocious and I will be complaining to their corporate offices. By the way, the inventory selection is poor. If I were you, I’d go try Hone Depot or Lowe’s. What a waste of my time and energy. Never again.

Wouldnt recommend. My wife and I JUST purchased a refrigerator. 48hrs later and its broken. Thankfully we purchased a warranty, but even with that were now without a working refrigerator until it gets serviced which wont be until MID OCTOBER. Overall a horrible experience.

After getting spammed by adds for same day delivery, I ordered a love seat and a mattress. No one ever contacted me to schedule delivery. Once I called in, I was told that it was actually 10-14 day delivery and was reminded all sales are final and that no one can help me get my delivery as promised.100% fraud. Do not buy from here.

This is by far the most unprofessional store, I have ever shopped at. I spent over a $1000 dollars on the purchase of a fridge and explained to the girl who sold it to me. Please make sure the fridge is tagged as sold already because,I would be moving to another state and cant afford any mix ups. I was told it would be tagged and that was obviously not the case. In the system it would already show up as sold. Whoever resold the item is very dishonest and untrustworthy. I called the store to make arrangements to pick it up and was told that it was sold again to another person 2 days later. I spoke to the store manager Andrew on several occasions, who has repeatedly told me there is nothing he can do. I have called the store over the last five days and no one answers the phone. I moved to a state over 6 hours away and the store manager tells me to come into the store. I purchased the fridge for my new home and now we have nothing to show for it. The customer service is really bad and the lack of concern for my situation is very disappointing. I am stuck having to go out and risk my life again during a health pandemic in search of a fridge, I already purchased. Due to the Pandemic inventory is very limited (how unfair is that to me, after already purchasing the item).I need help to fix this problem asap. It has cost me way over a $1000 in additional expenses as I have to order food everyday for a family of 4. I dont have a fridge to store food in and the store has been aware of this issue for over a week now. I have even emailed the District manager Joel and after 3 days no response. I am really at a loss for words and need to have a refrigerator ASAP. The store makes a huge mistake and has no idea the inconvenience, stress and unnecessary cost this has caused my family. I have not gotten a refund for my purchase or replacement fridge options. I need to have the funds made available immediately so I can purchase a fridge ASAP when there is available inventory. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE! IT IS A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE.

Damaged products, poor sales staff and no better than a rent-a-center. If you want to lease to own, watch out, its just like rent-a-center which you pay way over the purchase price and no one tells you that. The staff know nothing of the products they sell. In this place you are totally on your own so be very careful with purchasing items in these stores, be very careful. Unless you are desperate and need something right away and just do not have the money, then fine, go there, otherwise, do not purchase items from these stores, really. Fair discounts, but for the nicer items that you really want, the discount isnt worth dealing with this type of store. You would be better off going online and getting your item at just as good of a discount, if not better, by doing that instead or go to rent-a-center because their items are new, not used or damaged items like these stores. These stores are not worth your money. Dont waste your money here, go somewhere else, trust me, you wont regret it.

This place is massive, wasnt overall thrilled with the selection on refrigerators. Most on the floor were lowest around $800. Struggled to find what I was looking for. However the gentleman who helped us was incredible. Asked all the right questions. He was also the ONLY employee present in this very large warehouse.

This store is absolutely horrible! I wouldn’t even rate it ONE star! They are unprofessional and are scammers! DO NOT buy any products from this store. I haven’t even received my merchandise yet and the promised delivery date was scheduled for the 16th. The store said they would notify me the day prior to my scheduled delivery of the two hour window they intend to arrive. I NEVER received that call on the 15th. In fact, on the evening of the 16th, I placed a call to the store requesting to speak to a manger. This manager explained to me that their system was down, therefore they were not able to deliver. I asked the manager why wasn’t I notified of this inconvenience; he replied, “I would have.” He then rescheduled my delivery for the following Friday after I’ve already reorganized my time and my work hours for the 16th. Friday, the 19th comes and the gentlemen that come to deliver the item, say that they are unable to swap out my old washer with the new one because they could not unscrew the hot water and cold water hook up. Needless to say, this is not true because I was able to twists the knobs myself. I believe that it was the end of the day and they wanted to finish early on this day. They didn’t feel like hauling the old item away and swapping out the old item. So yet AGAIN, they rescheduled the delivery. The delivery date was then scheduled for March 25th between 12-2. The store associate called me at 11:30 to notify me that the delivery has to be scheduled from 4-6 because “the truck broke down.” So I say okay and I wait. 4pm passed....5pm passed... 6pm passed. At 7pm when I didn’t received a phone call or anything, I called the store. NO ANSWER! I called corporate and yet they didn’t bother to answer the phone from corporate as well! And now it is after store hours and they have yet to update me about my delivery, pick up the phone, or even deliver my merchandise!!! No communication at all. No one has picked up the phone at the store! Do yourself a favor, save yourself the headache! It’s not worth the trouble!!

I would not recommend buying from this store. On 10/5/20 I purchased a living room set and dining room furniture. I was told it would be delivered on 10/8/2020. It was not delivered and I did not get a call to tell me it was not coming. Instead I call to find out that they blamed the sales person for not writing up the order. They said I would receive it 10/12/20. Again no delivery no call. After calling the store, I was informed the manager sold my furniture on 10/06/2020 to someone else and they were going to order me another set which would be delivered 10/14/20. Upon calling to confirm delivery I was told I was not on the delivery list and they tried to hide the fact that they still did not have my furniture. I contacted their corp office without response. when I asked them what they were going to do to make it right, I was told they would wave the delivery fee. Are they kidding. They promised delivery on a certain date, they sold my furniture to someone else and tried to hide it and now they are playing the blame game and trying to blame it on the sales people. Do Not buy from this company!!! After reading other reviews I would recommend going some where else.

So far I have nothing g good to say about this store. First we ordered a refrigerator, which was a scratch and dent. The website showed a few dent on the lower left side and right side. Upon receiving the refrigerator both handles were also busted to the poi t the right door wouldnt close and most of the inside shelves were broken. We immediately called to have it taken back but are still waiting almost 2 weeks now to have them pick it back up. On top of this, today we were supposed to have a Samsung dryer delivered. Instead of a dryer, they brought a washer of a totally different brand. This time we learned from our previous mistake and didnt even let them unload it. Im not sure what is going on with this place but it is ridiculous. Our next step will be to call the better business bureau, as this is appalling. So far we are out close to 3000 Dollars and have received no refunds as they wont refund until they get their merchandise back, but have made no attempt to pick it up, although we have contacted them several times.Update: 9-4-20We have been calling and leaving messages daily, and still have gotten no response. I have called the number given below in the response from American Freight, also no response.

If you are thinking about making a purchase online you want to read this horror storyOn June 20th I purchased an LG washing machine from the American Freight online store for pick up at their Franklin Mill’s location. The online store stated that it was in stock and available for pick up.I tried to call the store all day Sunday and never was able to speak to a person. I tried to call all day Monday,Once again no one answered the phone. After calling all morning Tuesday I finally drove to the store to see what was going on.When I arrived at the store I found 4 employees sitting behind the counter playing on their cell phones and the store phone ringing off the hook.At no point during my visit did anyone answer the phone. I decided to look around the store to see if what I ordered was there. After wandering the whole store I was not able to find my washer.After standing at the counter for well over 3 minutes someone finally looked up and asked to help me.I explained why I was there and asked if they could let me know what was going on. I was told that the washer was not there but would be on the following days truck.This made sense to me so I left. I tried calling everyday till the following Sunday, my only day off that week.Once again I drove to the store to find out what was up.Once again I walk in to find 4 employees sitting behind the main counter playing on their cell phones while the store phone was ringing off the hook.This time I walked directly to the counter to find out what was the status of my order. The lady behind the counter looked up my order and informed me that the washer was not available and the order had been canceled.I would receive a refund on my credit card in a few days.I was not happy but there was little I could do about it.After a week I checked my credit card and the amount had not been refunded. I called my credit card company and was told to wait a few more days. 2 weeks after being told I would receive a refund still nothing.I tried to call the store but that was a waste of time. I contacted the main office and spoke with customer service. I was told that the order had not been canceled and the money had not been refunded. I was told they would look into it and get the order canceled and refunded.Fast forward 2 weeks no refund. I called customer service again, much to my surprise the order had not been canceled. I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was told that was not possible but they order would be canceled and refunded. Fast forward another 2 weeks and once again no refund.I called customer service for the 3rd time. This time I requested a supervisor right from the start. The person put up a serious fight trying to not let me speak with a supervisor. After a 10+ minute battle and some heated words I was finally passed on to Kevin Extension 1035Kevin pulled up my order and not to my surprise the order had not been cancel or refunded. Kevin assured me it would be taken care of right away and he would personally see to it. I was also told I would receive an email showing the order had been cancelled and the money refunded.Fast forward another 2 weeks and no refund, order not canceled, no call back from Kevin and no email show that anything was done.At this point I have involved my credit card company, can’t wait to see how this goes down.If you are thinking about buying anything from this place you had better be in the store with your hands on it.

I have never been so disappointed with the lack of customer service. Today marks 2 weeks since I have been trying to speak to the manager. I am honestly starting to think that they have my number memorized and are purposely not answering it. The few times I have been able to get through, Im told the assistant manager Lou will call me back which has never happened. We purchased a new, out of the carton refrigerator which arrived with marks on it. Before purchasing, we spoke with someone in the store who verified it was in brand-new condition. We paid for the delivery and install, waiting 2.5 weeks longer (and was actually delayed a few days from when originally promised). That was also a waste as they did nothing and has actually forced us to pay someone else to come and hook up a new water line for this fridge, as they would not remove the old one and caused us to have to cut it since we were on the clock and did not have time to properly uninstall the old once which we were never told. We could have had our fridge 2.5 weeks earlier and saved money had we not opted to have them delivery and install it. I have not one good thing to say about the product nor the experience, which is unfortunate as I wish that was not the case.

Today 5/6/20 I went to the Philadelphia Mills location and the assistant manager Luis was extremely amazing! I recently gotten a front loader electrical dryer from this location, and when I went to turn it on for the first time it wouldn’t cut on. I drove to the store location today and spoke with Luis, and he was so patient with giving me the help and care I needed. He was able to get a service call to me the next day and was able to help me with the service call price. I left out more than satisfied. The store was busy with switching over to its new “American Freight” name and supplies and he was still able to give me his undivided attention. Next time you guys Visit please ask for LUIS. Great selection and very helpful staff. I was able to get a “floor model” dishwasher with no dents or dings for $150 cheaper than other stores for the same model. Dishwasher is installed and works great. Only knock on the store is there are only two employees helping customers and the store is at least 10,000 square feet. I had no issues getting help nor checking out.

Went there looking for a new sofa fell in love with one they had on the floor and needed the other piece which they had on display but couldnt sell, David were very helpful explaining the policies as to why and had me talk to Luis the store manager to see if there were anything that could be done. He was so kind to give the okay to sell me both pieces!!!!!!! This is out 3 time buying with them and no disappointments or regrets so far. We have been loyal Sears customers. I will never purchase from Sears after this experience. The only reason I gave them 1 star is because it wouldnt allow me to give 0! We purchased a refrigerator from the outlet in July 2015 for a rental property. Right off the bat the installers did not level it and hooked up ice maker incorrectly, water leaked all over - damaged wall and flooring. The install company made good and reimbursed us for damages. October was first service call for refrigerator not working, problem with fan.... Since then 4 more service calls for same issue. Sears will not replace the unit because we did not purchase additional warranty? This refrigerator is clearly a lemon! I will be contacting BBB and writing many reviews as I would hate to see this happen to someone else. I am taking my business elsewhere!

I purchased a refrigerator in December 2015 I did not purchase the extra warranty because refrigerators normally last up to 10 years I have had the same problem that Ive read other people have had in regards to the fan in the refrigerator not working causing my freezer not to work . Called the store and was told to contact Kenmore because two years is a long time stating that refrigerators dont normally last that long ! These products that are scratch and dent from this store are unfortunately, all lemons no one should purchase a problem appliance and that /apparently is all they sell. This is the second time I have purchased an appliance from this location and I will never do that again I will certainly take my business and I have told all of my family to take their business as well, elsewhere . No one should have to repurchase refrigerators every two years . What a rip off !!

Purchased an elliptical from Sears and had the WORST experiences! First, I paid upfront for delivery, who ended up not showing up. Then had to call for a re-delivery. Again, no show. Promised a $50 gift card (which i never got). Call AGAIN for a re-delivery and was told that I did not live in their area, so they could only deliver it in the middle of the day, so my wife had to stay home from work. OK, fine. My wife stays home for them only to show up after 7pm!!They drop it off, leave, only for me to find out that somehow between my purchase and them dropping it off, they bent guiding arm! So it doesnt even work!Called the Sears Outlet store who refused to take responsibility, saying that I HAD to talk to Sears. Spent over an hour being transferred back and forth, reaching a live persons each time, only for that person to put me right back into the queue or transfer me to another department. Each person blaming another. I got NOWHERE.DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM!!

I was little skeptical with buying a refrigerator from Sears outlet located in the Philadelphia Mills considering the bad reviews they had. So my husband and I decided to purchase one anyway.The delivery driver called me around noon and said that they will be at my house between 1&2.. They were at my door at 1:30. Did I mention today is Saturday.The only reason why I gave 4 stars is because my shelf was missing. Thanks a bunch for providing fast and professional service!

Bought a matching kitchen appliance set (scratch n dent collection) that included a fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave. Got it all for the price of the fridge brand new at a a department store. Also got warranties on everything. Still dont know where the scratch is on the dishwasher, fridge scratch was on the side (but it sits in a cabinet), and while the dishwasher had a small malfunction the warranty place fixed it with no questions asked. Its been 2.5-3 yrs since we bought everything and we still love it. Thank you!!!!

Overpriced, no service, the building is old and dirty. They were charging $800 for an out of box dishwasher returned for cosmetic reasons. I got the same dishwasher new at an appliance store for $300 less. Easy to see why Sears went out of business, even the outlet cant compete.

If I could give a NO star, I would. This store is selling refurbished appliances that will not be repaired by Sears Repair Services when it has been purchased with the appliance. Do NOT buy anything from this store! This is a NONREPUTABLE store!

Their prices are not that good. Be sure to shop around for better prices. If you want a high end appliance, you can find great deals. But no great deals on average appliances.

Our salesman J’Cashmere Stancil was generous with his time and support even though we thought we were just looking he answered all our questions. No matter how simple the question. He was patient in explaining the features and usage to us. That kind of service will keep me coming back when I replace the next appliances! I bought a refrigerator from here 4 years ago. All of a sudden it stopped working. I called sears and they sent someone out to do repairs ($300). A week later the same thing happened. I called again and found out that this particular Sears outlet is not affiliated with Sears. They are a third party company that bought the name Sears and sells refurbished appliances. I feel like if its refurbished this is something that shouldve been disclosed. They tried to work with me and refunded the $300 for the repairs because Id rather buy a new fridge. I was told i would have a $500 voucher towards a new fridge but the catch is I can only use it at this same outlet. I dont want another refurbished fridge. Im really disappointed in the fact that that info was not disclosed with me. Needless to say, I wont be buying another appliance from here.
