Helped when my insurance provider (Liberty Mutual) or previously used tire provider (Good Year) couldn’t pass muster. They were courteous, prompt and went out of their way to help with excellent service and reasonable prices. They will have all my car maintenance business from here on. No more dealer or Good Year for me.

I was towing my boat from Florida to Minnesota when I had an issue with one of the bearings on my trailer. They got me in immediately and back on the road as quickly as they could! If I lived in the area I would 100% be using them again!

I had taken my BMW in for the first time here at this business on a recommendation. The last place that change my oil did a horrible job. My oil was gelled up in my oil cap and gelled within the filter. They flushed the system gave me the oil my Car required, which is not what the other guys put in it. They were very punctual, friendly, and made sure to educate me on the work being done to my car . Very cost efficient . Very impressed with this group of guys. I will definitely be bringing my car back to tuffy for all future services. I live 46 miles across town, however, this is the kind of service and care I have never received anywhere else.

Dropped the 2014 toyota 4runner off for wheel alignment. Came back 2 hours later pick up the car. When check out they didn’t give me the report of the alignment then when i asked to give me one they printed one out with blackout the year and model Which i still see is a 1994 toyota 4runner. Go inside talk to the owner he said the machine is out of date that why and the only thing to get the report again is redo the alignment which i let them they it and guess what their machine is not out of date. Clearly they didn’t do anything to the car at all except park it at the different parking lot and said they did. I still got the report with the blackout marker. Sketchy business

Tuffy is a amazing automotive service center. Ive taking 3 of my cars there to get stuff done including oil changes, transmission serviced. And I will continue to keep going back. Great business always really helpful, really professional, and always does quality work. They have Very Very reasonable prices on everything.

Oh my gosh- I have lived in BHM for years and I wish I would have found them sooner!! They have been THE ONLY place that will tell me “hey, everything looks great! There is nothing that needs to be done right now!” And I am so use to people (other places) trying to lie to me telling me “well.... if I had a daughter I wouldn’t let her drive on this thing without getting x y and z fixed because it’s a serious thing. Who really knows when it will give out” trying to scare me into $2000. They are SO honest and I love chatting with them. Very friendly and very upfront. They will not lie to you and try to get you to pay for something you don’t need. I love in Moody and I make the 45 minute drive just for them to service my car.

I stopped into Tuffys to get an oil change based on the really great reviews on here. Their customer service was top notch, and the prices were incredible. They didn’t pressure me to get unneeded things, and to spend more money than needed. I will never go anywhere else!!

Every time I go to Tuffys they find something wrong that needs to be fixed. They do work cheap then try to up sale for more work. Do what you want but just expect them to try to talk you into spending more money.

I was told by another tire company that I needed a new tire. I went into Tuffys and they discovered that all my tires were good. Not only were all my tires good, they also checked the alignment, which was also good.They did not charge me and I find them to be very honest peopleR.R

My initial visit here was a good experience. They got my vehicle in within 15 minutes. They performed the services I requested and had me ready to go quickly. I do plan on returning for future service.

I stopped by Tuffy last week to have a lic. plate light bulb replaced on my car. Every single person that I interacted with was genuinely kind and helpful to me. I really appreciated all of the help I received from the new owner, Kim, and the mechanics. The shop was clean as well as the waiting area. The chairs were comfortable and there was a place to charge my phone. I will definitely return for additional car services. I recommend you give them a try. Your car will be well taken care of and youll have the opportunity to interact with great people while you wait!

Tuffys is quick and the staff is courteous. They will not try to get you to get something you dont need.

Ive had a car broke down since last month and the extended warranty decided to replace the engine it took awhile but tuffy got the job done and they did a great job its like I got a new car its like new agian so I recommend tuffy to anyone with car problems

I don’t often leave reviews but I felt Tuffys deserved a good review! My drivers side window stopped working! So I called around to get quotes. Most places quoted me over 500 dollars but always said they would have to look at it first. But Tuffys gave me a better quote and William was extremely nice. As a younger female, with limited knowledge of mechanics, I get a bit nervous that I will be taken advantage of. But William made he feel very comfortable when I made my appointment and I felt like he gave me the better price. When I arrived I was not disappointed, I was greet by Kim, instantly I felt like I had known her for years and that nervousness went away! While they change my oil and fixed my window they also checked several other things without me asking . I do need a few additional things but they assured me it wasn’t urgent and never pressured me to do it that day. I can’t express how pleased I was with my experience, they made me feel like family, great prices, friendly staff, and a clean waiting area. They have my business for this point forward!

Tuffy Tire and Auto Service is a new service center in Pelham, Alabama. It is super nice and clean! Tuffy has great people working for them at this auto center. They do great work! I highly recommend this service center.

After calling around last Saturday for local garages & repair chains that change brake pads & oil, I found this place to have the lowest rate on brake pads per axle, & a special on basic oil changes to boot. Probably because they are new in town & trying to build up a customer base, because they certainly didnt try to pressure me into other repairs outside of my budget or cut corners on anything. Well they sure made me happy, & did my vehicle right, within an hour or so. I barely had a chance to enjoy the clean, comfortable & convenient waiting area complete with WIFI, new coffee maker, HDTVs & a digital charging station, when Kim told me they are just testing the new pads & my SUV should be ready in a moment. I drove out in a well maintained vehicle after paying a bit below average national price for full brake pad replacement & less than Walmart price for the oil change. I will for sure be back to them next round of brakes, rotors, tires, & oil too.

Has to be the cleanest mechanic shop I’ve ever seen. Very satisfied customer and will be for a long time.

Took my daughters car to get the power steering fixed. It worked about a week before starting to leak. The fluid needed to be refilled every week. Took it back to have them refix it and they say its a different problem. It was taken in for a leak so how is a not fixed leak another problem.Update: Yes, that review was for Pelham Automotive which has since closed or moved. This was not for Tuffy! In fact, I had to edit my original review because my husband got a threatening phone call from the owner telling him I better remove my review or else. Very glad those people are not here anymore.
