Bought a mustang was in it for a month before the engine light came on and started losing power. I had the vehicle code read by a local shop and the established issues with the catalyst system. Which I was quoted a couple thousand dollars to repair. Due to it being such a short time of having the vehicle I was sure the Susan Schein staff would work something out to where I could be accommodated for my troubles especially since I had to wait days to see someone and even then the manager never came to even acknowledge me or my situation. After being belittle and tossed options of cheaper cars that I had no interest in purchasing I was told it’s nothing else they would do. Fortunately, for me I had a friend that works for Hendrick Chrysler Jeep Dodge(buy your next vehicle there!!) that spent all day working to get me taken care of and out of the horrible car they had given me. I would recommend steering FAR away from this place as possible. Horrible management staff. The salesmen are just kids being used by the the managers to make sales even though they truly want to help their customers they aren’t allowed to because of the greedy management.

The sales manager was very rude and condescending. He neglected to help with damage the vehicle they sold me had a previous accident. I was told the vehicle had a clean title. Also only had the car for one day at that point. My salesperson Zach was very friendly and helpful as was the vehicle service team which offered to help against the dealership manager’s wishes. However, will not be buying from this dealer again.
Bought a 2014 Chevy Silverado on Friday. Drove it very little and by Sunday it had a major engine issue. Dealer was only willing to knock a little labor cost off of a truck I just paid 21,000$ for. When they say “ as-is” they aren’t kidding. Took the money and ran. Very unprofessional and greedy. Bad business. Funny thing is it was making the whining noise when I got it but it was mistaken for power steering, so I planned to fix that myself. Not what turned out to be a 2,000$ oil pump replacement. So it needed to be fixed before but was overlooked or known and given to me intentionally. You have lost my respect and future business. Never again.
Just purchased a 2016 Kia Soul and I have never been so happy with a vehicle. The people here are amoung the friendliest and most helpful. The cars are amazing and the prices are excellent. Would highly recommend.

Thanks for the reply, however, There is a difference between and signature and initials! The point is, I understand this did not happen at your location, but your location is the head location and after I purchased my vehicle from the McCalla location, couple of weeks later, they closed down! All of their paperwork came to you guys as it should, because you’re the main location. The fact that you are not trying to do anything about the situation is what’s horrible! And to think that I would lie about a signature/ initials is the other crazy part. But you guys have found the right 1, and I have tried to be nice. But just like you guys have Paperwork, I have all those documents as well! I feel that, you guys sold me nice trash, and knew the outcome, got your money which was 5,000 down, and now that I’ve found the problem, you guys want nothing to do with it! That’s not fair and not healthy for business! Also, it’s crazy that there are other reviews stating the same situation on the Carfax thing and more. You can try and delete them, as tho they have already been saved into my documents list! Again, you’ve found the right guy this year. I definitely will be staying in touch!Public, look at what was sold to me ( the passenger door was a whole other color than the rest of the car ) also, look at the signature/ initials ( difference )on the Carfax!

Vehicles are overpriced, and some even have wrong milage posted. Salesman called to schedule an appointment only to cancel it hours after confirming it. When all details were brought up about the vehicle they stopped responding to me. I have never had such an unpleasant experience when trying to purchase a vehicle.

BOUGHT AN AWESOME TRUCK!! .but NOT from Susan Shein.I went to SS to purchase a truck for my husband as a welcome home from his deployment gift and they were horrible. I had a specific list of requirements-Ford F150 4X4 Super Crew and Tow package. Truck that brought me in was a low mileage 2017, but I couldnt tell from the description if it had the factory added tow package. It did not have a hitch, but Henry insisted it did have the tow package,and the hitch just was not added because it had been a rental and they did not want the car towing. (BS!!) They couldnt produce proof that the truck had a tow package other than Erics (CEO) word that all Ford trucks can tow. Henry then showed me a 2015 that definitely had a tow package-had the hitch, tow brake and button on the steering column to activate tow mode. The truck looked good, but was priced high. I told them my max price and felt confident we were in the ball park. Henry told me to bring it home so I did and I called my most favorite, honest auto mechanics in Pelham, The Garage. They looked at the truck and said it had an engine oil leak, but that would be an easy fix because it was still withing warranty. When I brought the truck back to SS and told them about the leak, they denied it saying they had already looked it over before they put it for sale. I told Henry that SS would have a reason to convince me that the Truck was perfect, my garage had nothing to gain by telling me the Truck had an oil leak. (In case you happen to be looking at this truck, the VIN 1FTEW1EP3FFD02260..have it checked!) Since the leak was under warranty, I again told Henry what my bottom line price was and left. When I went home I researched the same requirements and found a same year, similar mileage, F50 with more options for several thousand dollars less, but an hour away. I told Henry about the truck and he asked me if he could meet their price out the door would that work for me. I told him yes. He asked what time I could come in to hammer out the details. I went in as promised. He said he was just waiting forEric Musso to approve the deal. After 45 minutes, I told him that if this was not going to happen I was going to leave and gave them 10 minutes. They waited the whole 10 minutes and I got up to leave a new person brought me into his office and said,look at this - He brought up a photo and said this is the deal of the year! and started rattling off some info as he scrolled through the photos. I could see that the Truck was didnt have a Tow package. When I said it doesnt have the make or break Tow package, Eric again started giving me his line about all Fold Trucks can tow. I had lost my patience. I turned to Henry and told him if he wanted to sell me THAT truck that I had test driven for the price that we had agreed, then I would buy it. Then Eric said Oh, you told her a price? Blank stares and silence for all three of them. Done letting them play this woman by lying to me, telling me things were included that werent, offering prices only to rescind the offer, and denying needed repairs on their perfect truck. No more wasting my time and walked out the door. I drove to the dealership that had the better, less expensive truck with the bigger engine and more options and bought it that day. SS sales people and management were dishonest, tried to take advantage of a woman and most of all were trying to take advantage of my amazing hard-working 29 years of service veteran husband. **Update** This happened 2/23. A month after I was in their store, after seeing my review SS sent me a letter that I was not approved for credit. My credit score is excellent and I WAS told approved while in the store, but now they have paperwork to lie to prospective customers and say I wrote this because I didnt qualify. Either they lied to me about being approved while in store or the wrote a false letter later -Deceitful, Unscrupulous Dealer. BTW I have called them per the reply and below but they wont return my calls.

He was very laid back and let us make our own decision. He was right there if we had any questions but did not pressure us in any way which we truly appreciated. My wife and I went in there yesterday looking for a used truck. We found a Nissan Titan that we liked and subsequently made the purchase (cash). Made it exactly 26 miles and the transmission went out. Im currently waiting until they are open in the morning to see if they make this right. Car was bought as is, but,you would expect it to last longer than this. I will change my review if it is handled correctly. Update. They towed the truck in and are replacing my tranny! Absolutely wonderful Highly recommend! Addendum...changing my rating. Service department is garbage. Giving me the complete run around. Steer clear!
The people at Susan Schein are nothing short of amazing. It has been a couple of months since we purchased a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder from there and it is perfect for us. Chris Godwin was our salesman and was super helpful before, during, and after purchase and kept us informed every step of the way. We werent even going in to buy something as nice as this - we originally wanted an older SUV for less. On their advice we applied for this one and got it for less down and smaller monthly payments than we originally intended even for an older SUV. They will work hard to get you into what you want!

We really enjoy trading at a Susan Schein Automotive. Everyone is professional and friendly and not high pressure. We found the perfect truck except it had no trailer hitch or tow package. They worked with us until we reached a workable deal which included having the hitch and tow package installed. This is the second truck that we have purchased from Susan Schein. Still loving the first one bought 3 years ago and looking forward to lots of miles in our newest purchase.

I didn’t have much time on the first visit, so they had the vehicle I was interested in ready when I stepped in the door. Also, let me take it home overnight to really get to look over it. If you decided to go here which I recommend, ask for Henry and tell him I recommended him.
We were referred by my sister in law to Susan Schein. The sales reps there took really good care of us and we left with a car we love! They really worked hard to keep us within our budget and get us an awesome car. We will definitely be coming back for our next purchase and will recommend to anyone needing a vehicle. I forgot to mention that this was all done with little electricity as it was the wonderful snow weekend. The reps there were all very friendly and fun and didnt seem to mind being at work on a snow day! Wonderful people!

My husband & I were in the market for a new car (with a trade in, I might add). We called this location at 9 a.m. this morning (7/30), to set up an appointment to test drive & possibly finance a 2013 Dodge Charger SRT8. The listing advised that the car was going through inspection & price was subject to change.. (One would think this would indicate the car is new, if it is listed as going thru inspection). However, that was not the case. We drove over 100 miles to our appointment for the associate, DeLorean to act nonchalantly about the car & ultimately tell us the car is no longer at the dealership due to a motor defect. Also, associate Kayla tells us that the vehicle was sold over 2 weeks and the listing is trying to be removed. I say all of this to say, the information given was contradicting and very UNPROFESSIONAL. The associate had a 5+ hour window to cancel our appointment or give us a courtesy call to let us know the vehicle was no longer an option.

I was a bit skeptical about buying a car because it had been years since my last purchase. The salesman we met was Corey Farnetti. Corey was so friendly and helpful that we had no problem in settling on a great deal. My son and I were impressed with the whole experience at Susan Schein. Terrible auto service department! I had a brake job done and it lasted only for 15,000 miles but I didn’t notice that now my rotors have grooves in them! They kept me waiting for 5 hours and I wasn’t able to watch them do the work but I did look through a window and my car looked like nothing was being done one it the wheels were on the van! Very bad service people and will never go back there even for a oil change! Buyer beware!!
The salemans was good. The management team totally different. I never receive paperwork to get my tag. I call many time requesting paperwork only to get lied too over and over. Bad experience!! Will never purchase from there again.
Was excited to see that they had a 2018 used hellcat for 48k. Came from Atlanta to see if I could trade in my 19 Daytona Charger. Figured I would be upside down because I bought my car brand new. From reading the good reviews, I didnt think to check the CARFAX on the hellcat charger they had. I was close to financing the hellcat but gm wouldnt work with me on the price. The car has cosmetic flaws. So I went home to think about the deal and something said check the CARFAX. I did and the car had been WRECKED. Of course its my job to do the research but I would think the dealership would at least inform the customer. Them you have the nerve to not provide any discounts on the car! Wow! Do your research people! On a good note, Delorean was a great salesman but the gm is funny business!
I couldnt give a good review because I did not deal with anyone who is advertised on on the website the ppl I dealt with was unorganized, unprofessional and just not friendly I have second guessed my purchase since I left the lot I did purchased the car I wanted but I wish I would have had better sales ppl my advise listen up really hear how they converse with you the interaction read your paper work and have someone with you🤷♀️ I know several ppl looking for good cars but I just dont see myself sending business to them after my experience I always value good customer service,professionalism, concern,quality and care the staff I had the displeasure of buying my car from lack them all (will gladly give names )I never even got a follow up call to see what my experience was I recieved a text in which I gave a 1 and still no follow up
Ive been getting my oil changed at Susan Schein for about 4 years.They sent me a coupon for a 16.95 oil change.When I went to pay they had charged me12.43 labor,12.50 parts,1.24 shop supplies,1.00 charges,1.13 sales tax on 12.50.This comes out to 28.30.They subtracted 8.00 off for the coupon.Not sure where they came up with that.My total ended up being 20.30.There is no sales tax on labor and they charged me sales tax on the oil,which is not legal.(Sales of Exempt Items: Some of the more common items which are exempt are: prescription drugs, gasoline and motor oil (kerosene and fuel oil are taxable), fertilizer/insecticides/fungicides when used for agricultural purposes, seeds for planting purposes, feed for livestock and poultry (not including prepared food for dogs and cats), baby chicks and poults, livestock, sales to the U.S., State of Alabama and other governmental agencies of the State of Alabama, labor to repair or install property is exempt as long as it is billed as a separate item on the customers invoice (labor to fabricate an item is not exempt). Note: cigarettes and beer are not exempt from sales or use tax.)My total bill should have been 16.95 plus tax on the filter.This is not a lot of money we are talking about but I get tired of getting scammed regardless of the amount.Susan Schein lost a customer today.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! They sold me a car that was damaged from the start. No mention of the severe damage to the vehicle. Nor did they mention the transmission was bad. You call and get absolutley no help whatsoever. You cant trust them and they are horrible. Only had the the vehicle a few months....definitely wont happen again, now Im stuck!

I must say, Delorean is by far one of the best salesman ever..... Unfortunately the management is by far the worst Ive dealt with! True, dubiously clever, salesmen that will find ways to get your money from the moment they run your credit.... within 5 days, my credit score dropped 72 points...! I investigated this issue to find that they shotgun my credit score by running it 9 times through 9 different companies...! Apparently this happened after I mentioned that I wasnt going to finance inhouse and would be talking with my back on the following Monday! Truly disgusted by their actions and I wish I was a lawyer just so I could ripping them a new one! Shameful people!
I’d definitely say to not pay too much attention to the negative reviews on here from a year or so ago. This place is recently under new management and has an AWESOME team. Had my pickup towed to dealership because it would not crank. Three weeks later and $686.00, still does not start and they dont have any idea what is wrong?? All they know is to try this, then try something else, then something else, etc. All the while I am paying for parts and labor... Makes you wonder about their capability to fix any problem. Taking to another place to get fixed.

Found a vehicle my wife wanted here but we live over 4 hrs away. I spoke to the director of sales, Simeon Williams, and he answered all of our questions and even made a video of the automobile. We decided that we were going to get it the following day and they reserved the vehicle for us. Simeon got a few of his co-workers and the owner involved to make a fair deal for all involved. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone! The first vehicle we purchased from them had so many issues they allowed us to return it back but only if we traded it for something on their lot. I really preferred after what we went through on the first vehicle to go elsewhere, but the general manager wouldnt give me that option. We got the other vehicle less than a week ago and it has issues as well. The door locks are not working on any door except the driver door, and the maintenance vehicle light is staying on. We called them last week and have yet to receive a callback. Me and my husband are both done dealing with them!! To make matters worse we got a terrible deal on the vehicle. The worse deal I have ever gotten on a vehicle in my life! In addition the finance manager lied to us and told me the extended warranty on the first vehicle we purchased was only going to cost me $8 extra per month. However when I got the paperwork I noticed I was charged $2200 for the warranty which definitely does not equal $8 extra per month. When I questioned him about that not adding up he told me since I purchased the warranty they lowered the sales price of the vehicle. In reality I had actually qualified for a better interest rate and instead of telling me that he pushed the extended warranty for only $8 per month. I probably should have seen an attorney about that since he lied to me when signed the paperwork. This car buying experience was a true nightmare and I would steer clear of this dealership at all cost!!!!

Drove on the lot, walked around, no one came out to greet us😖. We were serious customers, but I guess when you profile people, you miss out! Thats why theyre small time. Every experience is different, but you know what, it should be the same for everyone looking to buy!

So I purchased a 2013 Dodge Dart SXT turbo back in March of 2018 and the carfax report stated that it had just had the transmission replaced in January 2 months prior. I fell in love with the car and was very happy about it. Took one trip to Florida in June and it and started having transmission issues. Susan Schien did do the right thing and towed the vehicle to have the transmission replaced. They had it a little under a month. I picked it up from dealership on July 4th exactly and didnt make it 5miles up the interstate and the trans went out AGIAN. The agian towed it and since then have put in 3 transmissions in 8months still have yet to get my car back!! Today I find out that it needs ANOTHER TRANSMISSION!!! This will be the 5th transmission since January of last yr. Im hoping to hear from them soon to see if they will allow me to do some sort of trade in and make this right. I will keep you updated. But as of right now Im not a happy customer, the only person at that business I have any respect for is Emily which has been very kind and patient with me as far as answering my questions and giving me updates.
Susan Schein offers the best service in town. They are honest and dont try to sell you things you dont need. Their tire prices were the best I could find.

Susan Schein is unprofessional they let me get a 2015 Chevy camaro and I had to keep constantly coming up there everyday about the paper work it took at least a week to get them to stop calling me to come up there they also told me several prices about everything but when I came in nothing was the same the prices went up or something didn’t go through on their end. This place let me have a car for a whole week and still didn’t get all the paper work done why did you let me get this far ? I could have easily gotten a car from some where else.
They are a total waste of time. I tried to do business with them but couldnt get anyone to access any keys to any cars. After wasting a couple of hours on several different occasions I went to Drivers Way where they took me all over the lot in a golfcar several times over a week to 10 day period and I purchased my wonderful Hyundai Sante Fe. Cameron, Edwards Chevrolet and Susan Shein were just phishing for my financial information which is none of their business anyway since I bought my vehicle outright.
We had a great experience buying our car here. Henry was our salesman and he was exactly what we needed. He gave us space when we wanted it and was there to answer any questions when we needed. We were quickly approved and in our new car within a day.
