Just give us the new phone in the box already!Edited Review: we came back here to pay off our contract and see what better deal we could get for our four lines. The service from this store, and not Verizon themselves were poor. Omar did not seem interested in helping us when we informed him we were thinking of leaving. It was very matter of fact and no personal touch. Due to this we looked elsewhere and changed provider due to cost but more importantly the better personal service we received in the T-Mobile store a few doors down.

I have has the worst experience with this store. We switched over and were helped by angel i think his name was. We switched after being promised we would have a cheeper phone bill. They failed to tell us we had to sign up for auto pay to receive some promotion going on. Next we traded in 4 phones and somehow they managed to lose one of the phones and when we called to complain that we still hadnt received the credit for that phone on our bill they said to be patient and it would come, well 4 months passed and we were very angry paying $120 a month for one phone until they finally decided to look into the problem and see that they had in fact lost the phone. I was never able to get a credit and have to pay full price. Save yourself some time and go with a different provider. endless lines of issues that they want to blame you for to save themselves.

If I could give this location a zero I would. I bought my son a prepaid cell phone from this store on Monday, November 18. It was a birthday gift. We get the phone with a case and leave. Find out that night it wasnt working. So I came in today (11/20) to have them look at it. 25 minutes later and another sim card they are saying the phone is defective. Now I was told I can go to the Arlington Heights store and swap it or I can exchange it and its a $50 restocking fee. By this time my sons father is in the store. Hes arguing with the manager and they decide to call the cops. It was nothing physical or vulgar, he was simply stating that I shouldnt have to pay a fee when the phone was broken. So two cop vehicles show up and as they are talking to my sons father outside Im inside with my son and the employees are bashing my sons father right in front of his face.I end up calling corporate and they said what this store did was not Verizon Wireless practice. They told me to report this to their main office in New York, which I did today. We ending up solving the issue over the phone with customer service. Find out that the store gave us the wrong phone number with that phone. Thats why the phone was syncing up with the sim card.The employees there are rude and they refuse to deal with issues. They tell you to call customer service when they could of easily done this themselves and be done with it. Shame on you.
Amazing store experience. Store staff is very helpful and Alex went above and beyond to help me while adding another line and upgrading 2 phones. There was a little error on my bill due to something I clicked and I called the next day and store manager, Erik, resolved it right away. Love this store would recommend it to anyone.
These guys are the best! My story is a long one so, will leave that for another time.Danny the manager was able to straighten out an issue I had with porting in 4 lines, that telesales messed up and couldn’t solve. So I learned my lesson no more telesales for me. This store is my new contact....

Great place to pick up accessories for phones and make changes to your plan. There is usually some one to greet you at the door asking what you need. This is helpful if you know what you need. If you are there to browse for phones, it can become a bit annoying being asked multiple times if you are doing okay.
I received great service on 7/5/16 at this Verizon location. I walked in with a broken phone from an accident over the holiday weekend, and the employee that assisted me, Tim, and other members of his team worked hard to get my phone working to almost perfect condition. They then set me up with a new phone for a great deal, so I didnt run the risk of the phone breaking again.I was very impressed with the service and how well and quickly they problem solved. It relieved a lot of stress for me.
The sales associate Brittany was amazing. I had problems with my phone that had just been replaced a month before. And over the phone they were giving me a hard time and Brittany took over the situation and got me a brand new phone sent to me right away. Big thanks :)
I went in to purchase a phone on a Monday and paid 15$ to have it shipped to my house by the next day. The same day I noticed on my receipt that the 15$ charge wasnt on there so I called to confirm it. They said they forgot to enter the 1 day shipping in and would do it for free and guaranteed it would still be at my place tomorrow. Tomorrow comes around, still no delivery. I call the store again and tell them my package didnt arrive. I talked to the store manager, Chris, and he said again they forgot to enter it in. I had to wait 3 days for my phone to finally arrive. I let it go after he promised me hed help me figure out a financial deal after messing up. I went into the store the next day with my new phone with my mother and all he could offer me was 25$ off my next bill. My mom argued to him that I deserved more than just 25$ off a bill, like a car charger or even 35$ off the bill. The store manager again, Chris, was helping us and all he did was laugh in my moms face at her ridiculous suggestions. He kept saying were not a best buy, I cant do that. 25$ or nothing. After treating my mom with such disrespect, we accepted the 25$ and left. My mom told him that wed be writing a review about his store to which he answered whatever, dont be a hater. and closed the door on us. Once my bill did come in, I saw that there was no 25$ discount on the bill. I called customer service and they called Chris. Chris told them oh, yeah I forgot to put the discount on. What a jerk. If I didnt call I wouldve had to pay a late fee because this arsehole doesnt know how to run a shop. I will NOT be returning to this location and people who are thinking of visiting this one should go to another.

I dont live anywhere near here I got off of Interstate 294 Google Verizon Wireless store and it let me to this one and these are some wonderful peoples fix my phone fix my charger nothing like having a real phone thank you Verizon
The specific employee who was helping me seemed reluctant to help. I went to the store to meet with someone in person and then was directed to call the Verizon customer service number anyhow. They were not able to answer my questions and I felt ushered out of the store as if I was hassling the employee by being there.
My rep was more interested in selling me all the extras than the phone I needed. When I shut her down on the extras I had to ask for her to put the screen protector on

I was in this store on 5/1 to upgrade my phone. I walked in and an employee said hello but everyone was with a customer. I looked at phones for about 20 minutes, with no employee acknowledging me, signing me in, or assuring me someone would help soon. A few other customers walked in behind me, and finally an employee offered to sign them in. I walked out and drove to the Verizon in woodfield where I was immediately signed in/assisted with starting my phone backup while the employee was with another customer. If youre between both Verizon stores, I had a MUCH better experience with Verizon Woodfield and Neal!

TLDR: buy it online or at Best Buy and avoid the pushy used car salesman tactics and the attitude snark from the store.My phone died, so I went to the store to get a replacement. While the rep was pretty helpful, the manager Erik was rude, abrasive, mis-leading, and VERY aggressive. He not only insulted me and my intelligence (over buying a phone case that I didnt want) but then proceeded to tell me to go away. I went to buying a Galaxy S8 to walking out.If you pride yourself that I waited 40 minutes to get help, and then proceed to tell me that this is proof that Verizon needs brick and mortars such as themselves, I guess they dont realize Best Buy does exactly what they do, but at a lower overhead to Verizon than their own stores.In the end, I want to thank him though. I was offered a better deal (and service) at Best Buy up the street and I am debating on purchasing online directly from Verizon online or buying from Best Buy. Oh and lastly thank you for making comments about my face. It really added to the overall experience of your store.
Both my mom and I had bad experiences here. I was given the wrong plan and given false information when I got an ipad. My mom likes to go in the store to make payments and the past 2 times, shes been told to pay online or over the phone.. =/ thats upsetting.

So I dropped my phone in a lake and needed one fast, there are 3 stores within a mile from each other off Dundee in Palatine so no need to mention names. One had only one person working so I left. The other made me feel like I committed a crime. But at Verizon Kerry opened the door and welcomed me inside. Lots of staff on hand and lots of choices. Kerry new what I needed and I ended up with two phones one for me and one for my daughter for less then I was paying before! Take the ride to Palatine and see Kerry or any of the staff its worth it. Hands down the best customer service I have received in a long time, Dan.
I recently left the Verizon store on Rand and dundee. It was a very disappointing experience. There were 3 staff members onsite. We received a replacement phone in the mail and needed assistance swapping info. We had difficulty with logon passwords. Had to reset it too many times after just changing it. Our rep told us to work on it while she left to attend another customer. The other 2 staff members helped no one. She finally came back to us and basically told us we should go home and call tech support! That is why we went there, for help. After telling her we dont know how to do anything with it she said that is what tech support is, go. Go home and call them from the new phone. No help what so ever! Why go to the store for help if they are not trained. Basically was telling us it is above her pay grade and they two male staff members did not even try even though there were no other customers. Very bad customer service! If it wasnt such a Hassel to change all 7 phones we would be leaving Verizon. We are on the way to another Verizon store. If they wont help still maybe we will be changing vendors!
I came here yo buy 10 tablets for my office needs and they tols me that they will do $70 for each if im buying from them, in the final i received an bill with no discount. When i came bach they just tod me that they never promise to discount nothing.
Staff has no idea what theyre talking about. Had to correct them on current deals they had and about policys and basically anything you can think of.

I bought Iphone X and 2 months after decide to purchase the insurance and got confirmation that I have insurance and they started to charge me every month, after My phone broken I contact them and have been told that I dont have insurance because I can do the insurance only in first 30 days from the days I bought it, lol, What Do You mean I dont have insurance when You approved I did insurance and I am paying for it ?! Very bad costumers service not what I was expected from the most expensive company who charge double for everything.

Worst customer service ever!! Buyers beware! Bought a family plan on 7/31/2016 was told there was two different promotions going on one for switching from sprint to verizon and another if we trade in Puerto iPhone we get money towards our new phones... fast forward to October 21st 2016 we are paying 45.00 more a month and we received a 30.00 gift card and owe sprint 816.00 and since we are in collections there is a 10.00 processing fee. This was a bait and switch and everyone is now saying there is nothing they can do for us! Worst customer service if I could giclve them 0 stars thats what I would do!!
I would give Verizon a negative 10 star review if itd let me.Verizon Wireless is a garbage company. I used them for the previous 10 or so years, pretty much just out of inertia. It was a slide to the absolute bottom of value - originally, the actual product was fine (your calls wont drop often), the upgrade policy was reasonable if stingy, and the phone support sucked horribly. By the time I left this month, all three things sucked.Well, the Verizon network, the satellites and such, those are probably fine. But I had a decrepit, piece of trash phone that dropped my calls and couldnt hold a charge, despite paying an outrageous monthly bill that should presumably include routine upgrades.Meh, I upgraded to one of the small, independent carriers (Republic). I now pay less for a smartphone with a data plan than I was paying Verizon for a dumbphone without a data plan. I guess they have to pay for those commercials somehow!

Worst customer service ever. I simply wanted to return an OtterBox case purchased online with a new Apple 5s and two year service contract. After signing in I had to wait 20 minutes for my turn, which wasnt too bad, although simple transactions might be treated in a separate queue. But, it was the 40 minutes that it took for the associate helping me, before turning it over to a manager, that really boiled me. No explanation why it was taking so long and then the manager had the gall to ask me for a receipt! I told the first associate right up front that I didnt have one. Dont you think that a Verizon store could locate the receipt online?When I voiced my disappointment that it would take 1 full hour to be told they couldnt find the receipt on line the Solutions Manager was very quick to say, I think were done here!Never going to this store again and I will share my story with anyone who will listen.
This Verizon location is either the most popular or the most understaffed. In the 3 years Ive been in this area, the wait for customer service has always been over 30 mins. Waiting a little under an hour last year was the final straw. Ive been going to the Verizon on Rand in Arlington Heights ever since. Today, my husband and I decided to try this Verizon again. We were behind 3 people when we got there and 30 mins later we were still behind the same 3 people. Needless to say, we left. I rather drive the extra 15 mins.

Took a long time together some help on an early Saturday morning. One associate just stood around while we waited. Not sure if it was a manager or not, but if so it seemed as if he thought it was someone elses job to help customers.
