Paid on 10,000.00 for a Ford escape Left the lot and a popping noise a log with a scrubbing noise began coming from Left front tire area..went back to shop the guy said he would have his mechanic check it out and fix it bring in next day .took in kept all day then said it was fixed and I could pick up.got vehicle around 7:30 from mchanic. He said he replaced the sway bar and both tie rod ends ..left lot driving home from began making same noise .the shop was closed until Monday when I came in Monday was told after they drove it they heard the noise but I didnt have a warranty and they was not fixing anything for free..I reminded him that it was the original problem I left wit the first day and that it was as he could hear not corrected..I ask to speak with the person I bought it from and was told he was in a meeting for 2 hours and would call me that was 8:30 Monday it is now 5:55 pm Tues and no call back..I feel I have no choice but to file some sort of litigation against this business do if u buy you would be very wise to take it somewhere for inspection first as these people deliberately lied to me and mis lead me.8/27..as you can see by their comments they took the car and assumed repair responsibility,however they did NOT repair the problem when I returned there Monday the owner would not even come speak with me, said was in a meeting and would call ..must be one hell of a meeting to still be going on as I yet to receive a call.they also admit that the sound of popping in front well area is still there..so it was not repaired and it it still making the original noise . No one ever said it was different. Once again a LIE. I fully intend to persue this matter under the lemon law

Terrible!!!!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!! I had my car towed by them they tore the front bumper up and the way they have handled the situation is garbage. I couldnt imagine buying a car from there

My niece Heathers experience:Do not buy any vehicle from Affordable Auto in Owensboro. Bought the truck, paid in full in cash. Been waiting since September 3rd for the title. Tags are out so took Bill of Sale to have it licensed and proof of insurance. Found out he sold it to us with a lein against it. Found previous owner on fb and he had traded in the truck for pay off and got another vehicle. He said the loan still hasnt been paid off as of yesterday. We have contacted the dealer many times and now he wont even respond. Ive contacted Ohio co Sheriffs dept, Daviess counties, Both county attorneys, and several attorneys but no one has called me back. We also have filed a complaint through the Motor Vehicle Association. This is so stressful!!!!
