Service is fine. Customer Service is a S#%t. These kids at the counter don’t take business serious. While they are bored inside and my car has been on waiting for service (2hrs before appt) there are some boys (employees) vaping and rolling their skateboard outside… I hope the District Manager can solve these issues.

I always use this U-Haul location and they always offer Great service. They also work on Sunday Recommended.

I recently rented a trailer from this location and after loading it, I realized I was having some issues with swaying and came back. Andrew was extremely helpful in determining how to reduce sway, and he spent a lot of time helping to adjust and distribute weight in the trailer and got me back on the road.If you find yourself at this location, I highly recommend Andrew as I don’t have enough good things to say about him!

My 74 yr old mother made a reservation for a large space. We moved her from hours away, driving through Orlando traffic and 94 degree heat. Arrive with the full Uhaul truck only to be told that they do have our reservation but no storage. NO STORAGE. So what are we to do with the items in the truck we are supposed to be returning there? OH WELL, was the response from these Uhaul workers. Nice. I called Public Storage down the road and found a space there. My mother was dehydrated by the time we were done. So, OH WELL, right Uhaul?

DUE TO ALL THE INCONVENIENCE FROM ONE STORAGE PLACE AT GATORLAND I WAS TO GET ONE FREE MONTH BUT THEY OFFERED ME ANOTHER FREE MONTH AND THEY KEEP BILLING ME AND PUTTING A LOCK ON MY UNIT. I HAVE EMPTIED MY UNIT AND NOW THEY ARE THREATING WITH A PRE-LEIN NOTICE I AM ALSO FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE

That online thing doesnt work, I needed the service by 10am and now is half hour after because I had to do the line. Terrible service, definitely never will come back to this location.

I will never do business here again. I rented a uhaul on 7/11 and returned it the same day, yet i was charged over $250 bc they claimed i had the rental from 7/11-7/19.they finally corrected it and refunded me the money but they are still charging my card for the tolls that were ran by someone else who had the rental after 7/1.I’ve tried calling them, they never answer at the store. it puts you directly to customer service which that takes forever bc the hold times always are long. Im about to dispute all the charges from uhaul on my card since they can’t seem to get it right!!!

Rented a cargo van for 24 hours and decided to return same day after hours. I put gas up to above from were I get it and cleaned the van. They never told me I needed to use my phone to check it out when I returned after hours. Is a new policy because last time I rented it wasn’t required to check out using the phone. So they charged me an additional $20 dollars when I went above and beyond to return ASAP and make sure everything was done correctly. I am a very responsible person and If The should’ve told me the process when I rented the truck I would’ve follow it with no problem. No a great customer service. I was charged $20 more than expected.

Yesterday I rented a truck in this dealer take me home and then I loaded the battery light on, I took it today to the dealer and notified it, I was attended by Cris Rodriguez not know if this gentleman had a bad day but when I checked the truck he only said he could lower the charge and ride it in another truck or take it like that and if they stay accidentally call the emergency of uhaul! I said please I go Texas can check it and the non-cordial way and practically scream I rent cars I am not a mechanic, even a little aggressive your reaction! always while I lived in orlanding I always rented on this site! but with a deal like cris! I wouldnt do it again! evaluate the people they hire!

Great customer service, the GM Chris was excellent.

Made an appointment in advance to have a hitch installed at 3pm. Dropped off the vehicle at 2:15 and asked how long it would take. They said 1.5 to 2 hours, once they started on it in about 30-45 min. I walked across the street to kill time, shopped at target, got something to eat. Came back at 4:20 (over 2 hours later) and my vehicle was still sitting there untouched. Another car was in the bay. They said other vehicles needed work, and they could not tell me when they would get to mine. I asked for my keys back and a receipt for a refund. They made no apologies. It was over an hour drive one way to get there. Wasted a good part of my day. So much for their appointment system. Very disappointing.

Returned a trailer and never received an email receipt, no one answers the phone at this location and I have been on the phone for hours with customer service trying to get this resolved so they dont screw me and try to say I never dropped it off. Lazy people inside who refuse to answer the phone.

The worst uhaul place in the area, the staff on 9/25/21 in the afternoon, are lazy and liars, I went for propane refill and told me after waiting for 20 minutes, that the guy that does the gas want there when I know every one there is certified on that matter.

There was one MAJOR and SPECIFIC problem I have with my experience with U-Haul and I am not happy with the resolution. The 15 foot truck I received was acceptable, however, the problem was with the auto trailer. I had made the reservation in-store with Randy, he knowing the distance we were traveling (Orlando, Florida to Dallas, Texas). My (senior) father specifically requested newer and the most reliable equipment we could rent because of our distance. Randy affirmed us that they specifically ensure newer equipment for these long trips. We arrived Friday to pick up our truck and informed the staff that we would return on Saturday for the auto-trailer. Saturday morning we receive a call from Jorge confirming the auto-trailer pick-up. He informs me that he is not happy with the low-quality auto-trailer and wanted to ensure we had a newer one. I appreciate his honesty and diligence to get us a new one. I am upset with the staff members on Friday that did not ensure a high-quality auto-trailer would be available for our INFORMED Saturday pick-up. Jorge offered a $50 refund for the inconvenience but I do not believe that covers the FOUR HOUR DELAY (10am to 2pm), which was especially taxing for the senior family members I was traveling with. There needs to be better communication and honestly, I have little trust in U-Haul to follow through their promises now.

So I came to buy a moving box today. My autistic son loves elevators. Upon checking out I asked Lylian jokingly if she minded giving us a tour. She proceeded to ask her fellow associates to make sure she was covered and made mine and Remys entire week. These are the things good managers do! God bless her and wins our business from Self Storage!!

I rented two furniture dollies for the day of an extremely stressful move and was told when I arrived that they didn’t have them, never had them and couldn’t offer a solution. Horrified by the customer service and now have to pay for a last minute dolly somewhere else.

I have done business with many U-Haul places and I find this place in Hunters Creek to be the best. Its very busy sometimes because they have so much to offer.The staff is always very nice and helpful. The gentlemen named Chris at this location is always very helpful. When anyone I know needs trucks or storage, I sent them to this location.Its the best one around.

This uhaul has gotten worse and worse. hard to even make a reservation now a days. they close at seven and was just on hold for 35 minutes until they closed and cant get a hold of anyone. all i wanted to do was confirm my reservation (which is their job) sure miss russ baldwin right about now. all the workers outside are so sloppy too.

Rented a van for 3 hours because i had to take a bunch of old furniture to the landfill. Went a little over 50 miles, put $10 in the tank at $2.39 a gallon. I didnt know this at the time but their trucks get 10 mpg, so i put 42 miles back in the tank. When i returned the van i was charged $28 for 7 gallons of gas. Even if i didnt put anything in the truck I was over charged by $6. I did however, put $10 in the tank so i should have only been charged $6 if anything. All because they inaccurately recorded the original meter at the wrong spot. I get that its a little my fault for not mentioning anything before I left but if they knew how to do basic math they would realize that 50-60 miles is not 7 gallons of gas. I paid for 11 gallons worth of gas just to go across town and back. The time before this when I went there I waited in like for over an hour when only 3 people were ahead of me in line. The staff is slow and incompetent. Do not recommend going to this location.

Parking lot is small and bathroom was a little dirty but Im there to store my stuff not go to the restroom. Climate control works great. We had no problem transferring from a small to a large unit they even tried their best to get us really close to avoid a lot of work. When our lock was stuck and hard to open they replaced it free of charge. I think the staff is slow but friendly. Im quite satisfied, after all its not a restaurant its a storage facility.

Service was amazing! Staff was so helpful. Natalie was such a delight. If I need to rent a truck again I will only use this location.

Went to this location to return a trailer. It was raining at the time and the employees unhitched the trailer and checked it in, I didnt even have to exit my vehicle. Great experience.

The rental and return process was fantastic! All staff work together creating machine like efficiency. Seeing this level of team work was inspiring and as a customer, that team work meant a delightful experience. The outdoor area was clean as well as the interior retail space. Would go back again!

Great moving experience. We had to upgrade from a trailer to a truck because we overloaded our car but the manager treated us right and gave us almost a full refund on the trailer. The trailer hitch installation was done quickly and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The online check in and key return system isn’t clearly labeled anywhere so it was a bit slow getting my move started. Now over a month later, I’m receiving my THIRD toll fee. They’re small fees but it’s getting annoying they don’t send a single bill. It’s turning into harassment.

Returned two trucks here in the last few weeks and could not have ask for better service. I ended up at this location due to the lack of service and professionalism at another location in the area. The staff in the rental office were very helpful and kind, even in my state of panic, and the crew outside could not have been more helpful. After a 30 + hour road trip it was fast and painless.The biggest surprise was the other renters who were moving stuff in and out, they saw me struggling with large items and jumped in to help.

I stopped by with my wife to have a 5th wheel hitch installed on our new Silverado. The bed of the truck came prepped from the factory for a 5th wheel hitch. I explained and showed this to the installer Gary so that he could order the correct hitch. We waited over a week for the hitch to arrive and when we brought the truck to have it installed, he told us that the new price was going to be about 500 dollars more than what he had quoted before. Somehow, he had managed to order the WRONG hitch and proceeded to order the correct one without calling us first to let us know about the price difference. Somehow, he thought he would just be able to raise the price by 500 dollars when we brought the truck for the install. I requested to speak with the manager, Jorge Mercado, but he was out of town and I was given his business card. I left a voicemail and sent an email but apparently he doesnt have the time or inclination to get back to me regarding the mess one of his employees created. They are running around like wild animals in there and the man in charge is nowhere to be found.

I reserved a trailer a day before and when I went to pick it up the manager informed me that he gave it away to someone else. The manager himself admitted to giving my reservation away. They had no other trailer there with a ramp which is what I needed. I was left with only a small motorcycle trailer. I then was told that I would not be charged for my troubles. The next day a saw I was indeed charged. Call in and spoke with the manager who said he would take care of the refund. Its been a week and no refund. Will never go back. Do NOT rent from this place.

Rental Period is for 24 hours. I get a receipt that confirms that the rental period was for 22hr (meaning I had the truck back in less that 22hrs)....I still get charged for 2 days????I called 3 different numbers to get some assistance.. still waiting on my refund.

I don’t understand this company. I’m being charged extra because their online system kept saying it couldn’t process my card, and told me to just put the key in the drop box and someone would contact me. I never got a call, and when I called to find out why I have multiple charges on my card I’m being told there is nothing they can do. I will never get a moving truck from this company ever again!

This is a huge place. People here are extremely courteous and friendly. Through professionals. I use Uhaul off and on for a long time and they have always accomodated and worked with me. This location is great, and UHaul as a whole is awesome!

Been here since 8:15. Its 9am. Made reservation three days ago. One person at the cashiers check in, and there is about 20 people on line. Are you serious!? This is horrible. They need to get more people in here. This is ridiculous!

General manager was verbally aggressive to my Mother, shouted at her, cussed as she left the store calling her effing nuts, quit job WHILE WE WERE THERE. Yet, the Florida Marketing President didnt fire her. It must be nice to have a job where you can insult, scream and curse at a customer, walk out on your employees and not get fired because lo and behold, today shes back. LOL When I called the FL Market President to complain about the experience he was rude, condescending, kept interrupting me, scolded me for cussing when I was repeating what his own employee said to a customer. Ive reported the experiences to the BBB and the state attorney general.

Made reservations for a 17 f truck and a storage the same size. The reservation man assured me that it was one two miles away. Perfect, I thought, I have it all.It was more than 10 miles away when I went to get the truck.No 17 feet truck, but they had a 16, I thought there was no much difference, well, I was wrong, was not able to fit it all, luckily a friend took some of my stuff.Got to the storage place, which ALSO was farther away from what I was told on the phone...signed the papers, very friendly lady took care of me, who walked me to the storage. To my amazement it was half the size of the truck, I thought I rented the SAME SIZE storage, I was very specific and the reservation agent assured me that. I explained this to the nice lady who found me 2 side by side storages but I had to pay over $200 dollars a month instead of $150 as originally contracted. You guess right, I took it out of desperation. I akso had to pay over $20 dollars for 2 locks, cheap locks that would not trust in any other situation.Everything wrong with this move, I wonder if U Haul did this on purpose, if is their strategy to get more cash, selling something and upselling the customers with all this trickery. I will certainly look into another truck moving company next time, they are getting way too expensive, dont they realize that the competition might overrun them one day? I will also look for local mom and pop storages, I am tired of dealing with big name companies that all they care about is how to get more money from you by deceiving and lying to you, just like it happened to me and beeing against the wall had to accept all their conditions at the last minute.The only reason I gave them 2 starts was because of the nice people who worked on those 2 front desks and tried to fix the problems created by the inept and or dishonest U Haul reservation agent. U haul is a NO NO in my book.

Very shoddy work, terrible technicians.It took 4 hours to get a trailer hitch put on. Took my car home, and 2 hours later got a call asking to come back, because they forgot to put a piece back on my car that they took off. A month later my car stalls out on the side of the road, wont start back up. Dealership found the issue to be that the wiring done by UHaul popped 2 fuses, which prevented my car from turning back on. Uhaul wires got pulled, car started back up.Still waiting on a call back from the manager, so well see how their customer service abd recovery is.

I was suprised seeing some reviews mention about good customer service as i was there today and couple times before, i never really had good experianced! My intention is in and out in 2 mins as i know exactly what i want and i grab it and ready to pay. I end up waiting almost 1hr for the customer infront of me chatting with the staff and even i politely ask her to handle my transaction, she ignore me and said i have to wait! I personally think other public storage offer better customer service then this u haul!

I am a repeat customer (I moved a lot) and the staff there are courteous and are always willing to take care of you. They were friendly even when I was tired and hangry from moving.

Rented a truck from here and bought a bunch of boxes, 2 times so far. One time the boxes had some sort of bad glue issue and kept coming apart but after I showed them, they replaced the boxes. Friendly and helpful staff.

The alarm goes off every single time I take the lock off my unit. I paid an additional $10 to ensure 24hr access. The alarm is so loud I panic and forget what I went there for. Hopefully this problem is solved in the near future.

They are outright frauds. They charged me hundreds of dollars in direct contradiction to what the U-Haul website implied.When I called them about it, they were very rude and dismissive, not even willing to look into the matter.They were also supposed to call me to work out the fees. They never did, just charged my card out of nowhere.Avoid them at all costs.

Worst experience ever getting the truck was the easy part. Dealing with the people at the u-hual was difficult, there was a young hispanic girl there that was rather unprofessional. She did everything from joke around with my trailer information and the time frame it had to be back to incorrectly typing all my contact information which made it difficult for them to find my information when i got to my final location.When i corrected her on both her errors in my information and immaturity she became very rude. I merely stated that she was rude and moving is already difficult please do no add to the stress by being like this had i still been in the area i would never rent from this uhual or deal with this ever again.Save yourself the stress and stay away from the uhual

Went to this location to buy boxes cashier rings me up and notices I’m paying with change and asked if I had dollars or a card because she can’t take $6.57 in change. I hope this reaches Mr Joe Shoen THIS LOCATION DOESNT TAKE CHANGE.

How can you install a hitch without installing wires at same time. ? (we did make an appointment for both) Whats the point ? Horrible Customer service and extremely rude. Nothing is their fault its all the customer mistakes. Never again.
