Another great hand crafted custom job from the team over at Orlando Jewelers! After having a great experience in the past I decided to stop by the store and see if we can come up with ideas for a custom made bracelet, once we finalized design we agreed to a two week turnaround (which I will add was completed before the promised delivery date)Needless to say I was completely blown away by the craftsmanship and the attention to detail of my new bracelet. Stopped in to have a third party evaluation of a diamond ring I purchased elsewhere. The process was very thorough and the person who helped me was very knowledgeable and helpful. I also received a very fair price for a gold ring I brought to sell, hassle free. About a year ago I brought a pair of specialty sunglasses here for repair and they did an excellent job and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely be returning here and recommend for future jewelry needs and repairs.

7/16/2016 = Dropped my prescribe glasses for repairs due to broken right side small screw. Young person there took glass and without any hesitation, he claimed they could repair it. Next day, I picked up my $500 prescribe glasses & the same young person; place the glasses on the counter. Immediately, I notice how filthy the glasses were. Finger prints & lint all over the glasses. Trying to look over the atrocious & deplorable conditions of the glasses, I took a close at the repairs performed. Didnt get any better - During the repairs, they damaged the screw loop all together. Orlando Jeweler used a bigger screw to hold the frame in placed and had to cut the screw since it was too long. During the cutting/drilling phase, they scratch the black metal frame. Now, due to modifications they performed, could not get top and bottom frame rails to match, so glass just moves in frame (loosely). The frame is damaged and the young kid all could say was at least you can wear them now. Luckily, I had two pairs of glasses. Kid was unprofessional and immature by his sarcastic smack responses. This is family own jeweler, so if Dad did the repairs, he screwed up too. If you want jewelry, Orlando Jeweler might be for you, but if you need repairs, STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! Advise to Orlando Jewelers - In the future, if you cant performed repairs professionally, just day NO, we cant performed repairs on your____.

Do not sell your gold here. They do not have the proper equipment to X-ray jewelry. Not only do they scratch test, they scratched the h*** out of it. Then they say they have to cut the jewelry 1/2 before they can do a proper evaluation and see what its worth. They will make you a low ball offer after your jewelry has been destroyed. Unfortunately if you know the spot price of gold and what your gold is worth, they will play dumb. Totally dishonest man and woman. Thats why the store is empty....

My husband and I decided to chose Orlando Jewelers to purchase our wedding bands. We received the bands before our wedding and left them in the boxes. The day before my wedding, I take out my bands to discover 2 diamonds had fallen out of the ring!!!!!!! Pictures attached. Yes, they refunded us, but the diamonds were 1/2 the size of which we paid for!! Good thing I was not a picky bride as the pictures of our rings together are now ruined because I had no choice but to use this band on my wedding day. SCAM! Do not waste your time.

I absolutely love this store! The family that runs it is friendly and accommodating. They do great work with repairs and are always prompt with finishing there work. The selection is great and store is bright and inviting.

My wife had gotten me a new Fossil watch for my birthday and i needed to have the band adjusted on it. We went to Orlando Jewelry to have them adjust the band and also fix my old watch which needed a new battery and pin. We arrived right before closing as we thought they closed @6:30 instead of 6:00. The technician had both watches done in less than 10 minutes and I was able to wear my new watch to my birthday dinner :)

So this used to be my go to jewellery store when it came to my 4.10 moissanite engagement ring. But after the carelessness this last time, we wont be returning.A few days before we left on our honeymoon we had another spring guard installed becausd the last one they put broke out.Saturday the day before we left on our honeymoon we picked my ring up it was around closing time for them.On our way home I noticed the top of my moissanite had burn Marks. So immediately I tried to contact themwith no luck. I messaged them on Facebook to show them the burn and figure out what happened.I was told to use toothpaste, well I tried that and it didnt work, so they told me when I get back from my honeymoon they can dip it in acid and get the Marks off.We get home from our honeymoon and immediately return to the store. The older gentleman tries to tell me he didnt burn my stone with the torch in FACT tells me my LOTION burned my stone!! The acid didnt work all the way.. they buffer didnt work, there are still burn Marks! and nothing can fix it! Moissanite stones can not be subjected to a jewelers torch but being jewlers you should know this!anytime a ring has to be exposed to high heat, you remove the stone from the setting and then put it back in!! They damaged my center stone and blamed my lotion! Now my husband has to order a loose moissanite to replace the one you all destroyed. I have text messages between us. And I feel we may need to file a small claims suit! Because we shouldnt be paying the cost of the repair when you all burned my moissanite. We even took it to other jewlers to see if it can be fixed and we were told the stone will have to be replaced!!! And I will be posting photos of my burned stone to this review.

My ring broke on me. About to have a meltdown, my husband brought me to the jeweler 10 minutes before they closed. They immediately asked me what I had in mind, I showed a picture, they matched it almost exactly to what I wanted, RESIZED the ring on spot, and within 40 minutes I had a ring back on my finger. I’m in tears right now due to my husband’s love for me and the jewelers for staying open late to make me happy again. I’m such a blessed lady and I really am the happiest woman on the earth right now!

UPDATE: Orlando Jewelers has been very accommodating and quick to resolve the issue. They were also very friendly despite my earlier, negative review. I take it back and would refer people to their business in the future.I was pleased with the work until I got home and realized that one of the opals in my ring was broken. I feel like the jeweler just waited to see if I would notice rather than owning up to it. Still, the work was done in a timely manner and everything else was good aside from that. Probably wont go back though.

Resized my engagement ring from a 9 to 8, which was fine. But then the gem itself (a created opal) was given back without any of its shine, with an explanation of “well its not real”. Wouldn’t recommend it for resizings if you care about the gem.EDIT: Forgot to mention, the I’m assuming owner actually dropped the ring on the counter instead of placing it down gently. He saw me take it off my ring finger so he knew it was an engagement ring. It might be more of a peeve but I’m still not too fond of someone just clattering my ring down like that.

Brought a ring left to me by my Grandmother, real yellow topaz set in gold, for repair. They returned it to me with an artificial topaz that wasnt even close in the shade of yellow. All I needed was the prongs built up because they had worn down after wearing it continuously for 30 years. It took them two weeks because the guy who does it was out, very sick. BS! They were waiting for the artificial stone to come in. Now, after only a little bit of wearing it, the ring looks like crap because the stone is nicked, chipped and scratched. DO NOT GO HERE. To the person who unwittingly bought my stone, hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Went to get a new battery in my watch. He was having trouble getting back off and in the process he put a huge indented scratching on my watch. It would be one thing if it was a cheap watch but it was a coach watch. Didnt seem like he know what he was doing. Then he couldn’t get the back back on. Once I left I also realized that one of the crystals in the watch is now loose and rolling around in the face.I wouldn’t go there agian. If you care about your stuff don’t go

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I went in to get an engagement ring sized to 5 and a half, and not only did he size it wrong but it looked like crap. After the proposal a few days later my fiancee took the ring in to get it corrected and he lied to her telling her that I told him 6 and then charged her double the price I originally paid to have it sized the first time!!! On top of that this time the job looked even worse!! She came home upset from the guy treating her like an idiot. Go ANYWHERE but this place unless you want a very bad experience with one of the most special occasions in life. This guy is a complete JERK

Today my fiance ring was exposed to a chemical that caused black spots on her ring. Her ring is made from platinum and silver mixed together. Today she went to a repair store at the mall and they said its unfixable and her rung is silver plated. Its not and I know because I bought it lol.. She was devistated and on the verge of tears when she was told her rings fake and unfixable!She passed by orlando jewelers and went in and within 2 min her ring was fixed. They dipped it in acid and the black marks dissappeard. Her ring looks brand new again. Thank you orlando jewelers for fixing her ring. Wish I could give you a billion stars

I purchased a gold broken necklace from elsewhere. Brought it to them to repair. I paid 60 bucks for one end of the latch and to make the repair. Come to find out what I bought was fake. but he didnt inform me and made the repair anyways. Dishonest?? I think so. Just be wary. Now Im looking to buy a a rolex, guess who wont get any of my business.

I went to Diamond Exchange to get a quote on my gold ring. He looked at it then he started to walk away .I asked if the ring will be taken where I cant see it he responded YES. I got ring back and left . I heard of how jewelers will scrap gold off rings where one wont notice like on the sides etc..His actions more or less confirmed what Ive been told . Maybe he thought I needed the money . Where as I was just bored and thought I would get his idea as to its value . Not that it would be an accurate amount.
