SCAM. Quite possibly the WORST AUTO CARE CENTER ON SOUTH SIDE. Prepare to be swindled at the highest extent and pay a premium for low quality work paired with extremely poor customer service. Manager working 11/3 AM showed no level of expertise in service.Brought car in for routine oil change, en route my check engine light went on. Relayed they would take a look while changing oil, no problem. 30 minutes later I was told they did not have adequate parts to resolve engine light but the oil change was done & ready... Charged me $200 total for the oil change, $150 for diagnostics. Absurd. Called every major auto care provider in the area, none of which will charge you a dollar over 20 bucks to take a look or diagnose prior to servicing. This place is a scam.
Ive been here before & although it was a long wait. I was satisfied with my service. Today however, I got up early Saturday morning. The only customer there at 7am. The place is open until 6pm. Granted they may have cars there already scheduled to be worked on....BUT...all I needed, was a simple Tire patch. A TIRE PATCH. The guy said they wouldnt be able to get to it today. To hear that was so disheartening...because I want to like this location from my previous visit.
They put on a tire I purchased from them with no problems and good service in a timely manner. They kept my tire I had replaced that I paid for, when I got home I noticed that they kept my tire. I will be going back to get my tire!!
Brought my car in to fix front brakes that were grinding..they said it was rear brakes and charged $800+..2 days later, front brakes still grinding..also told me my battery needed to be replaced, even tho car starts and runs fine.
I was at this place for a simple diagnostic test to see why my check engine light was on. When I found out that my insurance wouldn’t pay the $1200 to replace 2 sensors. I picked up my car and they had left my cover to my diagnostic on my car seat and they didn’t put the screws back on my engine on. They left my engine screws in my engine and didn’t tell me until I went to some one else. This was June 16, 2021 went I left this place and now it’s July 3, 2021. I have been driving in my car not knowing that my engine screws was left in my engine. This is the kind of certified service they give their customers. This tells me that they didn’t care because I could not pay the over price service.
They were so accommodating and got me right in to replace my tire. Grace at the front desk was just awesome—helpful, kind, and had a great sense of humor! I would highly recommend!
This used to be a professional place. Now all about more money. There is never one thing wrong with your vehicle. They will always try to sell you something you dont need. Taking my business elsewhere

Giving them one star because I cant pick zero. Reason is for the rating is slow service AND because they will not mount used tires on wheels. For what reason you ask? Because they want to sell you new tires. I asked before I even went there and they gave me a price and never once mentioned they wouldnt mount used tires although my used tires are in new condition...I should have lied and said they were new but anyhow...after waiting there for 10 minutes I was told they cant mount used tires onto wheels. Everyone else will do it, I came to Firestone thought because I live very close to them. I ended up taking the wheels and tires to Car-X and theyre going to perform the magical task that Firestone couldnt do because of greed.

Poor customer service.Do not take ownership of what they fix.My tired was fixed at this location but continued to leak air. I brought it back and left my car for 5 hours but they were too busy.I brought it back with an appointment and left it for 6 hours but was not looked it.

This place is the worst .dishonest and unethical .they try to pad the repairs and balloon their prices.they broke my tire Houston and charge me for it. .brake work was terrible my front pads were replaced and now my stoppage is worse then ever Please do not take your car their. before I brought my car their a previous time they did shabby work I thought they have improved. Do not bring your car their for service you will regret it. After all the money I spent car is running worse then before. I will never patron that place again.

Very good service! They couldnt help me completely bc I have discount tires, but they went above and beyond for the 15 dollars I spent. I wish I had went with them originally. I thought I couldnt afford them but their quote for new tires was almost the same just a little more than discount tire who are closed on Sundays
Been using firestone for over 10 years in oak lawn and this location has been run to the ground by piss poor management, who couldnt run a petting, or, let alone a business, multiple issues over the last year or 2

My first impression was amazing! Eddie was very helpful and explained the process very well. I needed 2 tires changed, a wheel and an alignment. As far as I can tell, the work was done great! But there was one detail that made me give them only 2 stars. I got my car back and it reeked of weed. (I do not smoke weed nor does anyone that enters my car.) It was unbearable. I had to buy a scent fogger and the smell is still not out. It is pretty embarrassing that whenever someone enters my car they asked why it smells like weed. If it wasnt for the weed smell when my car was returned, Firestone would have gotten a 5 star review.

This store is wonderful! I called at the last minute because my daughters tire had a bulge in the side. This store was very busy but was the only place that would see us at the last minute. We called just a couple hours before closing and explained what had happened to the tire and they said just bring it in an theyll get it done. The service associates were very professional and understanding. I was worried about her driving any more on that tire. I am extremely satisfied with this store and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a car repair shop that is trustworthy and makes an effort to take care of your needs. They get 5 huge stars from me!
They walked me through the shop to pick up my car in the alley which was strange but whatever. My car was facing forward and the sales guy walked me to my car and opened the door for me to hurriedly get in which is even more strange. It turns out that they hit my car on the rear bumper and they refused to acknowledge it. They claimed that my bumper was caved in before I brought it there. They conveniently have no cameras facing the lot. I went through their customer service to make a claim and they denied it as well. An extremely sketchy place. I would give it a 0/5 if I could

I come here now because the one on 95th & Western has gone way down in service. Hiram is my guy. I will not come here if he is not on site. I read the other reviews but I can only go from my experience. Like I said I only come when he is present. I get the service I want and need. It is sometimes a little more expensive depending on what it is but I will pay a little more for the service. So far oil changes and tires has been the most I have been willing to swing. I am fair though I will give Hiriam a shot if he is fair and convenient. I will also send my mom and sister here because i know he will do right by them. So far i have not felt the need to change course and will continue to use just this store as long as Hiriam is there.
There honest and straight shooters. Been bringing my car here for over 12 years. Im not a mechanic by no means. If something is a simple fix, they wont try and overcharge. Theyre straightforward.

I had a very plesant experience yesterday.I spoke with Eddie (not Ed), and he explained everything Id be paying for, the warranty, and benefits of everything. I got 4 brand new Bridgestone tires, the best they offer. They didnt have them in stock but they were able to get them within an hour. They got me in right before 6pm after I arrived at about 4:15. They were very professional, courteous, and friendly. For me, its not enough to receive good products; the customer service must be on point in order for me to do business with them again. I am extremely satisfied with the quality of my tires, alignment, rotation, etc, AND the service. Save yourself the trouble and ask for Eddie. I am a very happy customer!!
Horrible service, sent a work truck for tires, we have been there before. I spoke to grace on the phone Thursday to order tires and set up time . I asked if the will take a credit card over the phone!!! Sure no problem she said. Employee went to pick up his truck and was told he can’t have it until payment it made. I called and was told.... Nope, we don’t take credit cards over the phone. We will NEVER go to any Firestone shop again
3 hours for an oil change.. dont even have the decency to give refreshments when its almost 100 degrees outside. Had to drink water from the bathroom sink so I wouldnt die, which had no soap, and a broken soap dispenser. Bravo 👏

I went for a alignment here and they never even called me back i had to call back at the end to find out that they couldnt do my alignment because I need $1100 worth of work done for it to be aligned that was on Friday, so Monday I took it to my mechanic who so happens to take his shops cars there for his alignments and he told me there was nothing wrong with my tie rods which they told me had to be replaced and such so I gave him back my car on Tuesday and he took it to the firestone on 103rd and they aligned it perfectly no problem. The Guys name at the front desk was Mike, and the technician who looked at my cars name was Andy.
The most polite and experienced technicians and employees in industry in my opinion!
Feel so grateful for these guys. Oogy came out in the rain to fill my tires that I didnt purchase there and was very kind.

SCAM ARTISTS AT WORK HERE!They charged me for services I did not ask for and I did not need. They will scam you into paying more any way they can. Nitrogen to fill the tires? I watched as they used the same air hose to inflate the tires as they use with the air tools.IF YOU GOT MONEY TO BURN, THIS IS THE PLACE IS FOR YOU.

Went to get 2 front tires put on and when I pulled out I had to push the brake pedal all the way to the floor board to stop. Some how the back brake line was bad. Called and spoke to a manager who told me I had leaking calipers and need them fixed, brought my car to another shop and they told me my calipers were fine. Been to other firestones that treated me great, this location is full of crooks, NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION.
Gave a great review 2 years ago and was incredibly disappointed with my last visit, was turned away even though I had a reservation for over a week for a simple oil change. Will not be returning there ever again and highly recommend everyone avoiding this place absolutely no professionalism or customer service felt like I was a bother to them just entering the store.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE to this location!!!. Was at this location back in Sept. 2017. Brought in my ’02 Trans Am so they can redo the alignment. When I got my vehicle back there were yellow marks on the front fascia. The marks looked like the car was hit by the yellow pillars that are found in parking lots. The general manager was not in when I was there in the evening. Was speaking with the service manager and showed him the marks on the car, he stepped back into the service area to speak to the tech who performed the alignment. He came back outside and informed me that he witnessed the tech taking video and that he had posted my car on snapchat. I asked him why is my car being videoed and being put on social media. He had no answer for me. I came back the next morning to speak with the GM. The GM told me that his techs did nothing wrong and that I should go down to the nearest parts store and pick up buffing products and buff out the marks myself. Great customer service Firestone, really good job. The car also had a separate issue. The transmission started acting up. I wasn’t able to down shift gears. When I pressed the clutch in and put the car in 1st gear, without moving you can hear the transmission rattling. Obviously with the issue with the trans, it was likely that the tech took the car for more than just a road test. Went through firestones claims dept, they paid for the tow to have the car brought to the Chevy dealership so they can have a 3rd party come and inspect the car. The mechanic at the dealership found in his inspection that the output shaft was broken and the trans needed to be rebuilt. The inspector from Firestone said the Trans was fine. I’ve called 3 different trans shops and spoke to them about the trans issue. They all agreed that the output shaft is broken. I asked them under normal driving conditions can the output shaft break. All 3 shops said the same thing, NO. Firestone denied the claim. The mechanics at the dealership were shocked that firestone denied my claim. It is now going to cost me over $2,000 to get the trans rebuilt. The only reason it took me this long to write this is because I was trying to take firestone to court and it’s not worth it. I’m going to have deal with it and pay out of my pocket for a technician that gets paid maybe $14 a hour and who decided it’s a good idea to take a customer’s car on a joyride. My recommendation to anyone with a sports car automatic or manual. Install a camera next time you take your car in for service. It will save you time and money.

Friendly staff however they keep my vehicle longer than promised and actually broke my hood latch requiring me to have to wait even longer to get car back after all repairs were finally completed.
I love coming to Firestone I always get excellent customer service and quality work on my car but whats the point of making an appointment when the wait is an hour and a half to two hours, its ridiculous.

Left the interior of my truck full of grease/oil. The tech pretended to clean it after I complained, but the manager ended up having to come out and do it himself. This wasnt just a smudge. My door panel, steering wheel, fabric seat, and center seat all have grease/oil on them. I never even got an apology. I will never be back.
