Great service! Everyone here is very kind, and despite being short-staffed (like everywhere) went the extra mile. Even had multiple people apologizing for it taking awhile to get my car out while the lot was being re-paved. Which is no one’s fault, but kind of everyone to acknowledge. Service is not pushy with unnecessary repairs, which we really appreciate.

Can’t Say Enough Bad Things About This PlaceShort Version: Imagine buying a new vehicle from Matilda’s DadLong Version:Manager Carlo was patronizing and dismissive. Rolled his eyes at me multiple times and asked “Is there anything else you need because I don’t want to have to come back another time.”Asked Carlo for his manager’s name and card. I was told Steve but brought a card that said John.I was told there is no difference between invoice and sticker price.

Absolutely THE best service Ive ever had for my VW, Chris W. is always amazing and the appointments (scheduled or not) are always on time and completely worth the wait. My car has never looked or run so good! Im forever coming to Ganley Westside VW for anything and everything my car needs. Bought a 2020 Jetta from this location. I called around lots of other dealerships within a 2 hour radius of me and decided to work with Aaron immediately after talking to him. He was upfront and honest with me about not being about to get the payments I wanted with the criteria I gave him and continued to help me look for options. I ended up getting EVERYTHING I wanted in my vehicle. He made the whole process pleasant and quick. I was able to feel confident in my purchase. He went out of his way to fill the gas tank for me prior to pulling out of the dealership and helped me set up the phone connect and android auto. Extremely polite, honest, and helpful! Absolutely recommend working with him if looking to buy a new Volkswagen vehicle.

Have been getting my oil changed on my new Jetta here for the last year as since it is a new car I figured I should give it proper service. I had an issue with my windows not retracting properly and asked if it was covered under warranty. I was told it might be we will charge you a fee to look at it and if it is covered you dont pay, if not, you still have to pay the inspection fee what a joke. I ended up fixing it myself for free. Well it came time to get another oil change and decided to come back, big mistake. I arrived and was greeted at 2:04pm and was told they will not take any cars into service after 2pm and I should come back another day. A whole 4 minutes after 2, actually only 3 minutes since it took me one to get out of the car. Outrageously rude. Where is the customer service? I will never be buying another car or taking my business to any Ganley dealership.As of 8/21/20, I was still never contacted like their comment claims they would. Im very impressed with their concern for reputation.

I will preface with this. My Father had his 2002 VW Passat serviced at this dealer for many years without issue and he went on to enjoy that car for 10 years. However, I recently was assisting a friend in buying a VW Tiguan from Ganley Westside VW and worked with Matt from the sales team. We had a nice experience with him. He took time to explain every feature, little interesting tidbits about the car, and its build quality. Which is partially why I can’t fairly go 1 star here.When it came time to negotiate, we were a little off on price. I had been given an internet bid previously by the internet salesmen when initially inquiring about the car online. When it came time to purchase, they did not want to honor that price. I had an email from the dealer with the price included. I’m not sure why. Naturally there was some back and fourth since we were determined to get the previously determined price. When my friend went back inside to negotiate further, she overheard from the management bullpen one of the gentlemen say, “when is this girl going to make up her f***ing mind?” That’s all they needed to say. We politely left and dialed up Brunswick VW in Ganley’s parking lot and they were happy to agree to Ganley’s internet bid price.Locker room talk or not, I don’t think this is the best way to refer to your customers. I’m sure this doesn’t represent the dealer as a whole and or ownership but it was quite disappointing having had previously good experiences in the past.Wishing the dealer the best of luck and hoping they can improve on customer relations.

My husband grew up in another country has an accent & misunderstood the mechanic that he spoke to at this dealership’s service station. When he went back to have his car worked on the mechanic treated him like a child. He was rude & short with him. I’m from here and understood everything. This greatly upset me. If you don’t know cars, have an accent, or think you might have any questions DO NOT GO HERE!!!

From start to finish, my service appointment with Ganley Westside Volkswagen was an exceptional experience. Late Saturday morning I called and spoke with Mikayla Collins, my service advisor, who ensured me that I could get my 10k mile service completed that day without problem or waiting. I arrived and was greeted quickly by Mikayla. She welcomed me and guided me to the clean, bright service waiting lobby. Equipped with cable, a large flat screen tv, and large leather couches, I was very comfortable while I waited. The wait was respectively short. After about 25 minutes, Mikayla promptly came in the waiting area and greeted me once again. I was shocked, 25 minutes for a 10k service; that is incredibly quick. Mikayla made the entire service appointment an absolute delight. She was professional, knowledgeable, funny, and really personable. I was impressed, because the caliber of service she gave with strict attention to detail was on the same level I received at Audi of Middleburg Heights. The icing on the cake was how clean my GTI was when I got it back. It shined like a new dime in the autumn sun. Overall, I give Ganley Westside Volkswagen a 5/5. Their Service Department truly shines because of their exceptional customer focused employees; Mikayla Collins is the best service advisor I have worked with in years. If she greets you when you pull your Volkswagen into the service bay, just know that youll have a great experience from start to finish.

I brought my Jetta that I bought from Ganley Westside Volkswagen into the service center to be worked. They needed to order parts (Brake Anti-Rattle Clips) and Chris from the service center promised it would come in 1 day. A couple of days went by and I still heard nothing from Chris so I followed up myself and I was told the part will be in on Monday (another commitment they couldnt keep). I have followed up with the Service Center numerous times with the same results and still no word of the part being in for a simple job that will take them all of 5-10 minutes to complete.Chris couldnt even take the time to call and let me know about anything related to the delay of the part being delivered. If he would have had the decency to do that I wouldnt be here writing this. Due to the horrible customer service from Chris, I will never take my car to Ganley Westside Volkswagen for service ever again or even buy my next car from them.

My 2019 atlas with less than 4500 miles has been in and out of the repair shop for over 2 weeks. It went in with a bad fuel injector and required disassembly of the front of the vehicle. It now has computer errors and was deemed not fixable until a future computer update and is to be released back to me.I need to be 600 miles from home. And this vehicle is not safe to get me thereHow do I trust this is safe for my family without knowing it can be fixed and there incorrectly diagnosed multiple timesUpdate 6 months later. Vehicle has only gotten worse. Now it randomly shuts off and original issues are still not fixed. I would give less stars if I could

My encounter at this dealership was so disappointing. There was an issue with the trade in of my other vehicle, a misunderstanding. It was very frustrating and I was definitely misled. But that is not even whats prompted me to write this complaint.When I reached out to my salesman about my concerns, there was no reply. When I reached out to his superior, I was made to feel like a nuisance. He wouldnt hear out my complaints on the phone, repeatedly cutting me off. There was never an offer to make things better. Never an apology. The Atlas itself is fine, but it just makes me angry to drive it due to the nature of this transaction.Its my peers that have encouraged me to write this. They are the ones who want to know where to shop and more importantly, where not to shop. This is definitely a place I will never shop again and obviously will never refer others to. I expect more professionalism and respect in transactions like this.

Edit: changing from 4 stars to one star.Very bad customer service at this location.We had a problem with suspension noise and took the car in for diagnosis. A $1500 dollar bill later, still having the same problem with noise.We called the service dept and explained that we still had the same noise. The service advisor got very defensive and then accused us of lying at one point (saying that we did not tell him the noise was at higher speeds, which we in fact did). The service dept said that there probably was not much they could do, but they still would check the car again without charging. We took the car in and another service advisor told us that if they did not find anything wrong they would charge the diagnosis fee once again. They claimed it was a balance issue (which the dealer had balanced the car as part of the previous $1500 bill and said it was fixed). No, the car is not fixed and the noise is still there.This dealership service dept is very unprofessional and it appears that the technicians/service advisors either do not care, or need some training.We took the car to another local Volkswagen dealer and they were able to diagnose and fix the problem. The other dealer service advisor said that they were surprised that the other dealer was not able to diagnose the true problem. On top of finding the issue, the other dealer even discounted our bill due to the hassles of the hanley dealership.I am hoping that we were just a one-off case in this situation but based on how the service advisors were acting and how they treat their customers, I am assuming that we are not. I will not be going back to ganley for service and would not recommend to others.

Never again and check out the other reviews I’m not the only one, had two flat tires and one minor accident so apparently it voids warranty on minor fixes they could have done especially after spending 26.000 with them, very petty never will I buy from this dealership again and won’t recommend anyone too either. I have been a customer for many years, and was always pleased with the Service Departments professionalism. Plus, they have the best waiting room, with available I-Net, and Flat Screen TV, of which helps make the wait more tolerable! They do go out of their way to make the customers comfortable while they wait. The longest I have ever had to wait was for a couple hours, but they do have a shuttle service to take you anywhere within the area, if in case you need to go somewhere before they are finished with your vehicle.

Everything was good until we agreed on the numbers, then the wait started. Over 3 hours from that point until we were able to drive away in our new car. 6 hours total. Messed up the paperwork and the car just would not come back from the touch up. No one stopped by to tell us its going to take 2 more hours, left us sitting there while we saw several customers come and leave with their new rides. Very unprofessional.
