Not a dealership I would go back to or Ganley as a whole. I purchased three cars over the years with Ganley and they wouldn’t negotiate any pricing on my new vehicle. Or even throw in any extra accessories. I actually ended up paying over MSRP because I was already locked into a deal with them with a rental car they let me borrow. My first mistake there. They blamed the pandemic due to pricing. Which I understand but there is always room to negotiate. I was also contacted to change my score on their post purchase survey because it makes them look bad. The salesperson was great and he did what he could do. I understand his hands are tied at some point with his bosses. I just wouldn’t recommend this dealership and I will not be going back to any Ganley dealerships in the future. All my service work will be at a different dealership.

The online Hyundai Care Care Scheduling Experience software didnt allow me to actually schedule service on multiple attempts. I accessed it via the MyHyundai smartphone app, selected my desired service option, checked the box indicating I didnt need a ride, and selected no preferred service associate. Then the app shows a monthly calendar with all days grayed out, none are selectable. Same with the following month. Fortunately a call to the Service Department allowed me to schedule service the past two times. And the requested service was performed during the time estimated on both occasions.

We bought a Hyundai Tucson back in March of 2020 and had a wonderful experience through the whole buying process, the staff was welcoming and didnt pressure us into anything. So we decided to come back again, today May 1st 2021 and was greeted by Lamar, one of the sales reps, and we were pleasantly delighted by his attentiveness, knowledge, and kindness towards myself and my wife. We purchased a 2021 Hyundai Sonata, and we are completely happy with the entire buying process, once again!! My wife and I highly recommend Ganley Westside Hyundai, in North Olmsted Ohio!! Pretty easy to do business with, we drove 100 miles and they had the car we wanted to look at ready to test drive. Pretty laid back, actually impressed. I could catch up on sleep waiting for finance! Broken toe, excruciating and its been over an hour waiting for bloody finance! No other customers have been in there either!

Worst experience ever. They can’t do anything about anything. They charge you $170 to look under the hood if you decide not to get the work done through them after you hear it’s $10000 in repairs because the engine is blown and apparently your warranty just expired just a couple months ago. Then they get rid of the auto butler with no notification letting me know to use mine up that I paid for already. Never going back to this dealership

Brought my 2013 Hyundai Sonata in because it broke down on Wednesday nite. The Service manager, James, treated me so well on the phone and offered a loaner car for free. When I found out I needed a new transmission, I immediately decided to go to Ganley to buy a new car. The sales rep, Amber knew of my situation, and was so friendly and made buying a car actually enjoyable. Even though they had leverage in negotiations, I received a very fair deal on a 2020 Tucson. The entire team was so helpful from the service team to the sales managers to the finance team. Great team and would definitely recommend all their services!

By Gods grace, Annie and I were directed (across town) to Ganley Westside to buy our new 2021 Hyundai. The sales manager, Evan, and our salesman, Amber, honored the great deal ($4000 below MSRP) we had been offered by their online sales rep, Samantha. They also gave us a very fair offer on our trade-in ($2000 above another Hyundai dealer). Louis then expertly walked us through all of the new tech/features on the 2021 Tucson. Things to note before I go Into my review.- I am 3 time return customer.- Never missed a single car payment- I have Brought plenty of business to this dealershipI leased a 2017 Génesis. Personally loved the vehicle but after 3 years of not missing a payment. New management did not stand by previously agreed upon terms. While we tried to come to an agreement on the final lease disposition fee. After speaking to both their financial branch and to the lease management person, both entities would not help and just point fingers at each other. While we were in discussions they sent my account to collection as a “Missed payment”. They speak of loyalty and customer service but when it counts after years of being a responsible paying customer they stick it right to you for all of about $150. You have been warned.

Called service about my 2013 Hyundai Sonata, which I bought at this location, and asked about the recall for engines. Service said there was no recall going on and that it had ended in September of 2019. I then took it to another location who took a look and said they will be replacing the engine for free because of the engine recall. Pretty upset with service as I had a good buying experience here. More training should be given to whoever answers the phone for service

I went in not to buy..... just to check out a couple possible options. The sales staff was kind and welcoming. I did test drive two options and was very impressed. I sat down with the sales staff and discussed the cost and potential monthly payments. I was surprised at how concerned the sales staff was with my concerns about monthly payment as well as my comfort and safety in a new vehicle. There was no rush, there was no pressure....they had a unspoken goal to address my needs, concerns and to make sure I was comfortable with my final decision. The experience was great! I took my Hyundai Tucson to the dealership last Friday, after having called while out shopping. I was getting a chugging noise from the rear, had no idea what it was, asking if I could bring in the car, and Service said Yes.I drove in and got immediate service (actually, I waited my turn and didnt mind at all) to check out the noise, which came from having inadvertently turned on the rear differential lock. The mechanics turned it off and also had my car washed. I was so pleased with the expert service, also the cheerful and courteous reception by the ladies at the service desk.It was a very pleasant and satisfactory encounter--couldnt have been happier.Thank you so much! The above message was sent several weeks ago. Last week I had another episode with what I know now was the rear differential lock, and I was very happy with the service I received from Brook and Luis. I appreciated having Luis ride with me to certify that the problem was corrected, and I had a demo of how to turn this device on and off--Thank you so much!

I have been to this dealership many times over the years and I must say that Amanda Meadows is the best salesperson I have ever encountered. She is not just a woman who has had to fit in with the guys...No she has earned the respect of a top level sales person in any dealership!!! Amanda is extremely knowledgeable about the brand they sell as well as other brands in the used car inventory. If you stop in and see her you will find out that she is a breath of fresh air in a business that trains people to hound you. I have been a car guy all my life and Amanda was able to talk to me about cars on the same level as any of my buddies. Above all Amanda has passion for people all you have to do is meet her once as her face lights up when she greets you. If more people were like her the car buying experience would always be an awesome experience. Do yourself a favor before you buy a car anywhere stop in to see Amanda. You will not regret it. Brandon (Internet Sales), Luke (finances) &Nick (Salesman) Were ALL amazing! I was there for 5.5 hours. They went above and beyond. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by people who were expecting us. Brandon came over, got us started and transferred us to Nick. When I leased my car at the end of November, the process wasnt so smooth, but for the most part, everyone was friendly. Heather was great and was very patient with me and worked hard to get me what I wanted. I was later asked by a different employee, How did you beat your car to sh*t in just 3 years? I found it inappropriate. Fast forward almost a month later. I called to ask a few questions (when could I pick up my plates; why I hadnt received a bill yet; etc) The person who answered to direct my call was extremely rude and gave me a hard time. This would be a one star review if it wasnt for Heather and the gentleman who sat in the car with me and gave me a mini tutorial on all the technology inside. I love my car! The customer service? Not so much.UPDATE: I was told I would receive a phone call when my plates would be available. 2 days before my tags expired, I had to call THEM to find out they were available for pick-up.

Ganley Westside Hyundai is unsatisfactory and left me disappointed and frustrated. They DO NOT go out of their way to deliver excellent customer service or to save their customers time or hassle.Our Sonata received a recall repair, tire rotation, and oil change. We asked for all routine maintenance but did not specify details that the backup camera is broken and also needs a diagnostic test and repair- which is covered under warranty. After noticing the broken electronics it would have been common courtesy for a Hyundai service rep to give us a call to see if we also wanted that taken care of in the same service appointment. We would have gladly done that, but the issue was ignored, and now we have to bring the car in for a second time. We will be down a car for work, while the vehicle is back at Hyundai for the second time in a matter of weeks. Additionally, the car was not washed per standard procedure because of an existing crack in the drivers side mirror. Again, I would have preferred a phone call to ask if the car should be washed anyways. I would have appreciated if the service department took the initiative, communicated with my husband and I, and saved us time and energy. Some dealerships would go out of their way to provide this type of customer service but that is not within Ganley Westside Hyundai’s operations. I recommend avoiding servicing your car with this dealership. Go elsewhere for thorough service.

My daughter was in a hit-and-run accident back in October and her car was totalled. We purchased a used 2017 Hyundai Elantra from Ganley. We got her fender repaired recently because the paint was peeling off. The repair shop said that the car was definitely in an accident (which was never disclosed to us on the Carfax report.) He said that the paint shouldnt peel like that. He also told us that probably Ganley repaired it so that is why it didnt show up on the report. As another customer said prior, that the buying experience was pleasant, but definitely that information wasnt made know to us. Very deceptive indeed. Was it because we are women (though the salesperson was a woman)? Makes you wonder . . .I am adding on to this review (and changing the rating from 3 stars to 1) because I did what the response from the owner told me to do. The conversation with the person I talked to went wrong from the start. First of all, I was explaining the situation, and he got very defensive from the start. Was trying to impress me by saying I have been doing this for 33 years, etc. He also told me that Ganley are not required to report cosmetic damages on the CarFax report and got very arrogant. He said he was going to call me the next day and disclose the information on the report. Unfortunately, I was called away at the last minute and couldnt take the phone call. My husband answered and he could of relayed the information to him, but did not. Makes me feel that this is still a mans world. If he would of explained it to me in a professional manner, I would have been fine with that, but it seemed he wanted to argue the issue. I choose not to call him back, because I didnt feel it would solve anything. If he was there for 33 years, obviously he didnt learn any customer service skills. My family will not be back anymore. Too bad, my son was in the market for a new car and we were considering Ganley as one of our options.

Very disappointed in this dealership and Hyundai as a whole. I traded in my old lease early to get a new one and as part of this deal the dealership was to pay off the remaining payments of the old lease. 6 months later I find out they paid the incorrect amount and left a balance owed on the lease account and Hyundai Motor Finance then reported me as delinquent on my credit report. In order to get it fixed thru HMF it requires letters to be mailed via regular mail by me, the client who did nothing wrong and a long 30 day processing time once they receive the letter. This dealership made the error and apparently has no way to speed up this process even though they are all Hyundai and the dealership made the mistake. This is not acceptable and no one seems to care. The sales manager at the dealership attempted to assist but basically gave up after his HMF rep decided to just blow it off and never reach out. Hyundai corporate says that I need to take it up with the dealership and HMF, and HMF just tells me there is no one I can talk to there and is very rude. This whole mess up on my credit report comes right when I am in the middle of buying a new home and has now messed up all my rates causing a raise in fees by thousands of dollars. I requested the dealership pay the difference in fees since their mistake caused it all and after weeks of trying to get HMF to correct the credit report in a timely manner with no success. Learn from my experience people, do not trust the dealership to pay the correct balance left on a lease turn in when getting a new car, follow up with HMF and confirm they paid the balance in full because they dont even send you notice before hitting your credit score. This is now my third Hyundai and they clearly do not care about their long term customers.

I normally go to the Hyundai in Parma who have always taken great care of me but this one time I couldnt because I missed my appointment due to a migraine. Unfortunately, the next available appointment at my normal dealership was far enough in the future that I was worried about it being too long for my car, so I tried this place. They charged over $300 for routine maintenance and not long after I began hearing a thudding noise. Im now at my normal dealership for maintenance and am having to pay $400 to fix something that was supposed to be covered in the maintenance that I got here at Ganley Westside. This is all in addition to the waiting room being abysmal with a tv that couldnt be turned on and the sub-par service taking a rather long time. I should have known they were doing random things when they marked that the wiper blades I had just had replaced needed attention. Would not recommend at all.

I had a lot of questions and Patrick was really patient as he answered every single one. TL;DR - Ganley Westside Hyundai is where I will purchase my next car.Full story...I test drove a 2020 Tucson from a dealership in Elyria. I didnt purchase the day I test drove and Im glad I didnt. When we went in the next day for some clarification on their offer, I was told, its right there on the page; its simple math. I told him that Im an engineer but that I dont do this everyday like he does, so without proper explanation of the numbers, its easy to get confused. Turns out, it was a terminology issue - the numbers on the page were correct but it was poorly explained the first time. But that still didnt require talking down to me.Because they had been so rude at the first dealership, we looked elsewhere and found the exact same car at Ganley. We went to see what their offer was. Janice Huang and Mike Vanderhoof were very transparent and respectful, and came in $1100 cheaper than the other dealership. So, when my husband and/or I are ready to buy again, we plan to go back to Ganley.

I went to get information on leasing a Tuscon. The sales person I worked with was initially nice however he gave me wrong information about the model that he was showing me and what the monthly payments would be. He showed me a higher end model than what was being advertised at the lease price I was comfortable with.When I was unable to make the deal as it stood, the price went down 20 dollars and then the sales manager came over to pressure me into the sale. I guess it was my fault for going to look at a car and to think I wouldnt be pressured into it. The sales manager tried to get me to go with the deal by explaining that the dealerships all have a contest to see who can sell the most and the one that wins gets a free lunch... like I care if he gets a free lunch.The sales manager offered me a gas card as an incentive. I did like the car and felt pressured into going with the deal. I do like my car but I hate the way I was pressured into the sale. I do nothing but regret it. To top it off, the gas card was never ordered for me. Five months later when it came in, they refused to mail it to me.I feel this dealership is out for what is best for themselves and not their customers.

My business with Ganley West Side is just beginning, they have some very good choices and they have three locations and will find you your new car. Im seriously check two out, perhaps Ill pick one in the morning.
