ABC Auto Repair is where I take all my vehicles. Any kind of mechanical work I need done I know it will be done right. And for a good fair price. I would recommend them to all my family and friends.....

Not recommended to anyone. No friendly military services. He cheated on my vehicle inspection by explaining my tinted visor band was illegal and charged me $10 to removed (inspection only $20). If I dont remove it, he will fail my inspection. I asked was the laws changed and he says NO. I got inspected last year with no problem. My wifes car with the same visor tinted got passed at another place with no problem.

Went in for my car state inspection. Walked out with a $1550.00 bill. The following day, brakes service light was on, and brakes were squeaking. I called the shop back to get the brakes they had just put on checked. They said they will call me back. They never did. I drove in on the weekend to get my car checked, but Mr. Young, the owner became very defensive and hostile towards me, asking me to get out of his shop. I had to get the police involved to get my car keys back to avoid confrontation with Mr Young. I will never recommend this shop to anyone.

I went there this morning for a state inspection they open at 830am I got there at 835am I had a couple of ppl ahead of me I got in the door to be served at 845am and the owner tell me very nasty that he anit taking no more after only being open for 10mins, very bad customer services, I had just been the there the day before to get the same service and I was turned away I dont recommend them to nobody, now I see why the counter persons acts so nasty customer service wise with there care of U because of the leader remember I am a customer U are not doing me any favors I paying U for a service U are there to give great service and make me want to come back SO! I WILL do business else where and will makesure I tell others how poor and unprofessional your service is.

Do not ever go to place there are scam artis I am in the process of taking him to court. Please I beg anyone not to go here they are dishonest an unprofessional they will take your money and you will not get quality work.

I dont recommend this establishment to anyone. Took my truck back to get fixed because of a failed inspection with a total price of $480, then $500, then $530, and now $700. They sneaky, should not be trusted and I am looking for suggestions to pursue legal action.

This used to be a great place to get your car worked on at a good price and great service... “NOT NOW”...The receptionist is about the Worse person to deal with. I always took my car here for repairs, and recommend many friends to them, but $$$ seems to be their main drive and not Customer Service. With this Very Rude and Obnoxious receptionist theyre going to lose more business... definitely lost my mine! Also they Charged me $ 35.00 for a so-called diagnostic fee to tell me that I needed a new CV Axel....THATS WHAT I TOLD THEM I NEEDED TO BEGIN WITH. Like I said...it’s all about getting your Money, No Matter What. Even if it cost them loyal customers.

They gave me a great estimate on a problem on my car . Pep boys estimate was $900 for the problem and ABC auto repair was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy less than that and my car drives smoothly like it was before the problem 😃 I am a very satisfied customer.

This place is the worst. Never ever go here. I went to get an inspection, last minute on my part. The lady called on the phone to tell me why my car had failed, I could not understand her. When I arrived I asked, I guessed the owner, to show me what was wrong. My right, my car. He snatched the paper off the counter and said something in a foreign language to the lady behind the counter. When we went outside he said, where’s the car, where’s the car. His body language was so rude. I was like you parked my car. He went over to the car and 1/2 way pointed out why he failed my car. As we walked away from my car, I asked for my key to lock my car. He refused to give it to me. I told him to lock my car. He pushed the lock on my keypad, but my car would not lock. I told him again to lock my car he said very rudely it don’t work. I said yes it does, he said no it doesn’t and you know it don’t. You know it was broke, you just no pay. FALSE!!!!! The man left my car on, which cause the car not to lock. After he turned my car off I had to tell him two additional times to lock my car. When I went back inside to pay the $20 for the inspection, I heard him say from behind the door you take your car and don’t come back. These type of people should not be in business in the USA. I will never go here again and I will make sure if this business ever comes up in conversation I will give the the same rating as my treatment.

Would not recommend at all! Paid over $700 and my car havent ran the same since. As of today my car is not running! Claim i need parts that i have already had replaced. Would never go back.

Would have gave 5 stars however the service that is received from your front desk worker is unacceptable. She is EXTREMELY unprofessional, she makes your place of business look very bad. Her attitude and tone and lack of customer service is not what your business need. I would highly suggest hiring someone who enjoys their job and take pride in being the first face that a paying customer sees when they are walking in. She doesn’t even have proper or semi proper phone etiquette, and that is not ok from a business stand point. She’s rude and do not show willingness to help. When I walked in the owner greeted me instead of the front desk worker. After I gave my key and signed a paper and handed it to her I stood there thinking that there was something else that needed to be done. She looks up after maybe 30 seconds and says. “Oh I’m done.” Unacceptable. Then when I picked up my car after paying she handed my keys and walked out. No have a nice day or anything. I just walked out and made the decision not to return to get my car serviced until you find someone else who know a little customer service. I never wrote a review on an establishment however this needed to be addressed. VERY UNPLEASANT! Again owner and work is GREAT!!!!!

The owner is fairly priced and very knowledgeable about mechanics. I take my vehicles to him every time and will have him as my mechanic for a bit longer as its hard to beat an honest mechanic.

Have used this shop for inspections and maintenance since he opened. Has always been efficient and reasonable. This family owned business is honest and does good quality work for a fair labor rate. Will have two vehicles in his shop today for oil change and inspection.

Don’t go here, especially if you’re a woman. They try to take advantage of women. My mom went to this shop with an issue, she was charged 3 different times to fix the same issue and was charged a higher amount each time. I heard the owner tell someone “if you don’t get your car fixed here, don’t come here anymore “ just crooks

He does a great job but they are kind of slow sometimes. Plan to spend at least 4 hours or drop the vehicle off and come back later. Pricing seems reasonable.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. The lady that he has working for him at the front desk has no personality or customer service, she has a bad attitude and makes it seem like it’s an inconvenience when customers come in to ask about services . I’ve been there and have gotten a few oil changes but I haven’t gotten any major repairs on my car because I’ve heard from people who have gotten their vehicles worked on there that they don’t do a good job or fix the problem and they overcharge people . I wouldn’t waste my time or money and would take my business elsewhere

A very honest and reliable auto shop. From here on out all my repairs will be done by ABC auto repair. Its worth driving from Norfolk for the pricing and honesty.

I would NEVER go here again or recommend this place to anybody. I took my truck there to get checked out for an issue minutes after they opened. As of 3pm (and calls throughout the day) they have not even looked at my truck. The lady answering the phone got an attitude with me for calling to check the status of my truck. I said I would be in the area to wait on the truck, and she lies to me and tell me she said they may or may not be able to get to it today. So after literally spending all day waiting on my truck Im in the same place as I was when I dropped it off. I was the 3rd person there, but somehow there so many other customers ahead of me that they may not get to me today AT ALL. Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle elsewhere because this type of service is ridiculous.

I was a loyal customer to Mr. Yun s place of business for a long time. 5 months ago I took my (well kept customized) van to his shop because something was draining my battery. Mind you I bought a new one and installed it myself. Took it to him and got a loan to pay for his 400 dollar fee. Now 5 months later Im still having the same problem! And had jump my new battery again to bring it to him and he wasnt listening to what I was trying to tell him. I already knew from working on my vehicles 25 years ago that a bad alternator drains a battery. Trying to play me. Autozone confirmed it and the alternator never been changed since I bought the van 13 years ago. So beware! Its only about the money with him and every one fee is 400 or more. Lets not talk about charging me $390 for brake pads on my car the month before the van. And I heard him on the phone telling another customer that when I took my keys walking out the door....smh And to make matters worse, if my girlfriends husband hadnt checked something for me, I wouldnt known his irresponsible mechanics left the cover off something under the hood and Mr. Yun had to look for it. Dont let him talk you into leaving it so he can check it when hes not solving the same problem the first time. A bunch of clowns! Post your experience so everyone will know. Word of mouth WILL make you or break you!!!!!

2015 VW Gti, Have lowered suspension asked he he could do alignment on it owner said yes so he did the alignment the same day I was his last customer before the shop closed he finished pretty fast like 30 mins then I left and got on the highway and alignment was worse than how I originally had brought the car in so I called the next day to let him know and he told me to bring it back so I took it back and he said he couldn’t do alignment and that I needed new tires because It was a tire pull so I went got new tires took it back and then told me to come back next day earlier like 9 because altered suspension take a long time so the next day I brought the car in he seemed kind of annoyed and started the alignment spent like 2 hrs on it on it took it of the rack then test drove it came back put it back on the rack and spent another 45 mins on it then told me he couldn’t get the alignment done because I have to adjust the camber myself and need to buy camber kits and other stuff all this started Feb 20 until March 6th

Went to get my car inspected in an oil change and I was in and out pretty fast. Front desk customer service isnt that great

I went to this shop for the first time; I was told that the job would take 1/2 hours, but it took over 4 hours! I askd a workr about a discount- and I was told things happen. Lol! As far as the quality of work- I shall see. My first thought after going to this shop was brake king.

Got a oil change a few weeks ago, left the shop & noticed my car was smoking, got out to check it out, seen oil coming from under the hood and the bottom of my car, they forgot to put my oil cap back on .

Go to brake king! I took a diagnosyic slip to him with an exact problem.he gave me a price. 2 days later the engine light came on. Rediagnosed with the same problem. Tried to take it in,he statea there is more than 1 o2 sensor and the diagnosis was wrong. Refused to relook at car. Police called. Going to small claims. Police had ti be called because owner Yun Richardson refused to guve his name so i could sue. Stay away!

Over all good job

Overpriced! I asked for an estimate for a transmission fluid, filter and gasket change. He quoted me $400. He must think im a GODDAMN fool. I ended up taking the vehicle to Mr. Transmisson and getting the service done for $180.
