Had 4 new tires placed on my car by an amazing young woman! And Marion was professional, personable, and just an overall pleasure to work and converse with! Will definitely return!

My husband took the car in to get two new tires in the front on Thursday morning, they told us they would get to it if we left it. Thursday evening we recieved a call promising they would get to it first thing in the morning. My husband went to get the car about 9AM, it had not been touched and they werr working on two other cars. Our car had not been touched, so we decided to take it to the tire shop across the street and they were done within two hours.

Amber was a great help. She took me even being 10 minutes late for my appointment. Got my oil changed in less than 1hr. Great customer service.

Let me start off by saying, I think my 2004 Lexus LS430 is a very special car. That said, I go to great expense to keep it at its maximum level of proficiency. So, when I went to NTB (201 W. Mercury Blvd) for the very first time to get an inspection sticker, I was pleasantly surprised when Master Technician, Timothy Whalen, mentioned that the car was very well maintained. Because of those few words of praise, I decided to go back to them for my upcoming oil change instead of my current automative specialist. In addition, I wanted to explore the companys tire discount which Jayme Clayton (sales) so eloquently talked about. Ms. Clayton has an engaging personality that makes you feel valued as customer and cared for as a person. On the day of my appointment I met with Manager, Robbie Hegal, he was also exceptional and accommodating as well. It should be noted, his interpersonal skills were on full display because he was a tad short-handed that morning, yet he never seemed flustered and reminded everyone there that he would get to them shortly. When it was my turn, Mr. Hegal was attentive, informative and patience in getting me the best deal on tires, as well as the oil change service. He took me to the stock room to educate me about the pros & cons of tire brands, their design, texture and history. I would be surprised if any customer ever had a real issue with this particular outlet. I highly recommend this store, not only for its service but the people who operate it. they are diverse, intelligent and dedicated to their work. Beside, the three employees mentioned, I was also serviced by technician, Emmanuel Karas.

Lied to my face and blamed damaged that (I can only assume) was cause BY THEM. They said that I drove with the E-break on (I didnt) and that warped my rotor. This is not how E-breaks work. A wheel liner came free on my right side after they changed a head light, the bumper and that trim peice would have to be removed to change the light because GM. I didnt touch it, so what else could have happened? Never. Go. Here. They will lie to your face.

Scheduled a 4:30pm appointment online for a full synthetic oil change & I wanted to inquire about a new set of tires. On arrival, the lady at the front greeted me and asked what I needed. When I told her about my appointment, she decided to complain to me about how their only technician leaves at 5:00pm and he won’t be able to service my car in 30 minutes because they’re 5 cars behind. She topped off her rant with a not-so-reassuring, “we were supposed to call you.” I never received a call. Didn’t get an apology for the inconvenience. She didn’t even offer to reschedule me. It was basically a “dang, you’re out of luck” thing. Highly disappointed, wouldn’t recommend.

Had a wonderful experience, they were able to find me the best price and get everything I needed in a timely manner. Everyone here was friendly and professional, will definitely come here again.

Staff was friendly, accommodating, and informative. Pleasant experience

I went to get my spare tire and wheel mounted and balanced, and they damaged my new wheel and tire on the machine. The original manager agreed to replace them she agreed to replace the wheel and tire. I provided them the proper receipts via email but no response. When I called back to get an update the manager in charge of the NTB had left the company and they could not locate the ticket for the above issue, or order information on the replacement wheel and tire. After phone calls to NTB customer support the store wanted me to buy the wheel and tire again and then give them the receipts and they would reimburse me the money spent. After doing so at the end of November till now no check, no calls, and no response to my emails ect..

Stars well deserved if I could give more I would. Terrance and his crew are very respectful, honest and knowledgeable. The crew fixed my vehicle after another store supposed to have fixed the issue. I definitely recommend this location. I am a guaranteed customer.

If I could give this location 10 stars I would! I had borrowed my friends box truck to move to Pennsylvania, when I loaded the truck I noticed both front tires had issues. Not only did these gentle fix it with a smile they gave me the much needed comfort to drive the truck with safety. Each and every time I come to this shop the customer service is always top notch. My son brought his Cadillac here and they couldn’t fix it but they were honest with him and he appreciated it. Mr. Marion gave him some suggestions and he followed the suggestions and his car is running great. I’ve come several times and always feel like they explain everything well and try to give me the best deal they can. Giving this store a 5 star review because of the 5 star service. This is about my 3rd time using this branch because I always feel welcome and the services given are always explained. They will NEVER fix anything without your consent and I have never been pressured into making a decision. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially when you do your research. This place will always be my first choice for when I have car issues again.

I bought a set of Michelin tires in December of 2018. I also purchase a warranty and am thankful I did because within a few week I had to go back in for a repair. That repair lasted until this weekend when I noticed my tire pressure was low. I made an appointment for 8:am on Monday (today). After waiting several hours for it to be completed, Marion, the store manager comes to me with a brown sticky rubbery item and say it is a previous failed plug that was in my tire. I asked him if these are what are typical used to fix tires and he said no that they are not a good thing to use and they dont do those type of inadequate plugs at NTB. So know I am realizing I have been driving my family around on an unsafe repair for almost two years. Knowing I bought the tires AND warranty at his location and had only received my tire repair through them I told them that they absolutely did that repair. I explained that it wouldnt make sense for someone to purchase $1000 set of tires AND a warranty with him only to need a repair within 2 weeks and choose to take it somewhere else to be fixed and pay out of pocket. After basically calling me a liar, I asked him to pull up my record from my previous plug job and print it for me. I didnt notice until I left that he just printed the todays invoice twice. Luckily for me I have a copy of the other invoice in my truck for the unsafe work that he told me was not done at his location. It is scary the business they are running here at the Newport News location. It is so shady that he tried to pass todays invoice off twice because he knew when he looked in his computer and saw that they indeed had done the previous work, that he told me was unsafe, he couldnt give me a copy. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Always a pleasure!! I go here for my oil changes becuase Marium manager is such a pleasure to deal with. Very honest, helpful and always willing to try an fit you in.. the mechanic who did my oil change thus time found my blower filter? Was completely stopped up and brought it to my attention. Ask me if I had noticed that I was burning alot of gas? And my reply was OMG YES!! WHY? and between him an marium they explained everything to me. They luckily had what I needed there to replace it!! Win win.. very honest and reasonable prices 👍 keep up the Great work. I send all my friends here becuase I feel 100% confident that they never try to sell you something you dont need. Marium runs a very tight ship and deserves recognition!!

I had stop coming to this NTB for awhile but I decided to give it a try again and I’m glad I did. Terrance assisted me with an oil change he also explained to me some other issues I had with my car as well as needing tires. He gave me an estimate of what it would cost to get the repairs done which seemed to be a fair price. He was very informative and knowledgeable. I didn’t feel pressured to make any decisions. I definitely will be coming back. Terrance’s customer service was great!

This is my second visit at this location. First visit was for my oil change and this visit is for my tires and brakes. Both visits were quick and painless. The staff here are friendly and informative. Terrance was able to diagnose my car’s problems swiftly and personally shown me the issues I was having with my brakes after his inspection. Definitely a good group of people and I recommend this location to anyone on the peninsula!

My husband took his truck there of course was told several things that needed to be fixed: when he just wanted front end alignment. He had taken his vehicle back several times because they gave him a warranty. However, the front end continues to bear hard left, but they swear that its nothing wrong. Calling Corporate to see what can be done. Stay away from NEWPORT NEWS, VA NTB!!

So our 1997 Ford Expedition broke down right next to the shop on 4th of July weekend and the gentleman helped us by letting us get it towed there and fixing our tire right away without any issues. I’ve gotten new tires for my car, brakes, and rotors for a VERY reasonable price. I also had an appointment for a leak in my oil pan and the service for my car was profound. Service was magnificent and I have ZERO complaints.

Terrance took great care of us. We called ahead and got quotes over the phone with a breakdown of each tire. We came in later n the evening as ended up leaving the car. They called us first thing the morning letting us know we can pick up. They also look out for veterans. Highly recommended. We’ll be back.

My truck is my only means of transportation and i really appreciate them for being honest with me .Without my wheels i have no way to get my kids around .Some places take advantage of me because I’m a woman but Terrance and his staff kept it real and i thank them for that.

I went to the store requesting 2 tires and Terrance was very knowledgeable and gave me price options because clearly I was in dire need for 4 tires. I have been a valued customer of Merchants, now NTB and I am very pleased with the new staff, name, and excellent customer service and appreciation. I was a little sad to not see Earl Matthews, however, Terrance rendered the same assets that Earl had! Those assets are knowledgeable in the company and products you offer, giving the customer precise product info and options, and Mr. Marion was friendly; the whole experience is why I will remain a customer for NTB. Also I had a question after the service and Terrance and Casey gave me reassurance. See you guys in a few weeks.

My first experience with NTB was in Delaware were I got 4 new tires and an ailgnment. The service the employees gave was excellent. They were courteous and had plenty of knowledge on my SUV. My second encounter was in my home state VA were the employees was courteous as well and very knowledgeable as well.
