The staff here are very friendly and super helpful. Storm the manager is awesome, he knows how to run a crew, they are as efficient as I have ever seen. I would say civilian NASCAR fast. LOL! I found out this morning I had a nail in one of my tires. I needed new tires anyway so I decided to shop around. Found these guys online, picked the tires I wanted and got a good price. Unfortunately the tires I wanted were not available. The general manager actually called to let me know. Got me set up with cheaper but better quality tires than the ones I wanted. I was even able to get them put on today. The associate I dealt with when I got there was very helpful and a joy to work with!By far, one of the most professional business Ive had the pleasure of dealing with since moving to Virginia. Brought a 2015 Q50 in for wheel and tire install and the day of installation the tires went flat. After that the cars tire pressure system never went back to normal every day it says low tire pressure but the pressure is perfect so we go back and get them replaced a total of 7 time we make a trip to this location and each time nothing was truly fixed to this day It still has bad tire pressure sensors and the wheels are as well not balanced correctly as speeds over 70 the car starts to vibrate and the steering wheel shakes

To start off, I have never had an issue with any repairs or with bad customer service. Always professional. My problem is with their cleanup. For the second time in a row my spare tire was just sat back in its place and not anchored down like it should be. Plus, greasy hand prints were left on my leather seats. The first time I overlooked it and just chalked it down to people make mistakes sometimes. But, when the same thing happens 2 visits in a row to the same car then that is a training issue

Was out showing homes in Hampton and ended up with a flat tire right about closing time for every shop around. On top of the time the type of tires I have are not very common, low profile runflat tires. I called Discount Tire and Samuel Peery and his team didnt hesitate to help me come up with a solution and worked til we could make it home safely. Quick awesome service. Ordered my tires over the phone on Saturday, Tires came in Thursday setup appointment for today at 2pm and Im home already. And that was 4 tires replaced. Also like how technician checked each lug was torqued to specifications. Awesome place, Definitely wont be disappointed.

This shop has more than earned 5 Stars. The manager, Storm, runs a tight shop. I’ve been in here several times and everyone is professional, on their game, and very nice. They helped me find the right tires for my lifted Tacoma. Before that, they repaired two flats on the old tires, for free. Awesome stuff. Service is always quick, I’ve never had an issue, and I’m pretty particular when it comes to my vehicles.Part 2, my roommate’s Audi had a flat. It’s an oddball size, and this was the only shop we could find that had the tire in stock. They got him taken care of.Overall I’m super glad that Discount Tire has made it into VA (I used them before). The guys here know what they’re doing.

This places 4.9 stars is well deserved. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. They attempted to do the free patch first, but when it became obvious I needed a new tire they straight up wheeled my former tire in to the lobby to show me exactly what was wrong with it. I like the prices and the customer is real good. However the last time it took my truck into get my tires rotated they didnt balance my tires or reinstall my valve caps. I didnt like that I had to go back and have it redone. This is why my rating is only 3 stars.

Very disappointed in the service I received. I had to go back 3 times in one day. Than had to go back two more days after that demanding my car tires be checked. Matt said new parts could go bad so guess i had to be wrong. 3rd day i went up there like a mad woman demanding cooperate information because my tire light was still going off. Finally they changed 3 of them out. Hmmm guess NEW parts can go bad!!!!! To top everything off matt never came up to me and apologize for putting me through all of that. Very disappointed in my treatment!!!!

Honestly the experience started out bad. I checked in with the QR code and waited 15 minutes and noticed 2 people get helped ahead of me. So after the 2nd person I walked in and had a 3rd guy get helped before me. I asked where do I go if I checked in online and have been waiting 15 minutes and they admittedly apologized and got me assistance. I got 4 tires and the clerk Dominic was very nice. I asked if my old tires had any value and they said no but they did give me a $25 coupon. Then I get a call a out 10 minutes into leaving the car there that my tire pressure sensor was stuck and they may have to force it and it may break if they do. I was a little flustered and didnt have an answer and I asked how much it is to replace it if it breaks and they said $45 and the tire light will stay on until its replaced. I hesitated but said sure I guess I need the tires done. I come to get my car and they told me the sensor did break but they replaced it for me no cost. I was super thankful. What started as a rough experience ended up being an amazing one where they took care of me and I truly do appreciate it. Id give 6 stars if I could.

I wish every business offered customer service the way Discount Tire does. I have been to several Discount Tire locations and recall a pleasant visit at each one; however, the one here in Newport News is exceptional and I believe it’s a huge reflection of the management / leadership here. Since this location has opened, I’ve been a handful of time to get tires checked (free of charge) and they have balanced tires on two of my vehicles and checked my aging tires to my 1994 Landcruiser. They have never tried to sell me on something - only offer assistance. Today (10 SEP 2018) I went there for an anticipated purchase of wheels and tires for a 2018 Tacoma and like always, the service is top notch. The manager whose first name is Storm, is the utmost professional.Storm (whom might say he’s just doing his job) went out of his way to mount various tires on my truck just so I can get a feel for what I wanted. It’s much different seeing wheels and tires on a computer screen versus on your actual vehicle.Once I decided, he ordered the set with no obligation for me to purchase other than my sincere interest. I truly appreciate this type of customer service and hope to only purchase tires from Discount Tires.It’s always nice when people go above and beyond what needs to be done and puts in genuine effort to help out the customers’ needs.Go here for your purchase if you want not only a large selection of great products but value great people and customer interactions.

I’ll never go to another tire service place ever again! I drove up without any appointment and they immediately brought my vehicle inside. I knew I had a slow leak and was prepared to have to buy a new tire but they said they could repair it for free! Then they recommended I get a tire rotation which I was initially skeptical if I actually needed it but then they explained and demonstrated to me why they thought it was a good idea, then they did that free of charge as well! They were finished within half an hour and it was the best car service experience I’ve ever had!

I’ve gone there for several reasons; the best is the service. They are close to costco and others for price. But when I bought tires in Georgia; I had to have them exchanged in Virginia. They replace them with no up charges. This was pretty good!
