I came here after getting into an accident and getting rear ended so they could repair my vehicle. They were prompt and did my repairs in a timely manner! They even cleaned my car inside and out! Everyone at this location was very nice. Great customer service! The adjuster was very knowledgeable and polite! Would recommend and I will be returning in the future if need be!

I am very pleased with the repairs done on my car. Although it was minor damage, they did an excellent job replacing the grill and painting the bumper. The car looks like new! I will definitely return if I need body work done on my vehicles.

I did not price compare Bay’s services with other similar shops because I felt like they were quoting me a fair price. Chris was extremely willing to work with my needs and schedule, and ensured that he understood exactly what I needed, based upon what I wanted the end result to be. He was able to suggest different approaches to the goal, and the final result was beyond my expectation. The office staff was professional and welcoming. The entire environment feels like a top notch, corporate level operation with a home town feel. My experience with Bay Custom Auto was satisfactory from start to finish. I went in on a Friday and spoke with Nick to obtain an estimate for my repair. He was polite and professional. He thoroughly explained the details of the repair and associated costs. I dropped the car off on the following Monday and by Wednesday the job was complete and ready for pickup. I was initially given a completion date of 3 to 4 days so you can imagine my surprise when I received a status update on Tuesday stating the car would be ready sooner. The repair was seamless, like nothing ever happened. As an added bonus he was able to save me a few dollars on the repair. I will definitely be bringing more business his way in the future.

I was recently in an accident and had some significant damage done to the passenger side of my truck. Looking for the best body shops near me, this one immediately caught my attention because their website has a few Before and After pictures that they have completed. This was refreshing to see because I dont know many shops that post the quality of work they do. The customer service was remarkable as well. When I first called them to set up an appointment for my estimate, they were extremely friendly, which again, was refreshing because most of the phone calls I have engaged in people really dont seem to be happy with their job, but they sounded happy on the phone. I made this comment when I showed up in person and they thanked me for the compliment. Finally, they kept me up to date with the progress of my repairs and any changes that have come up. I recommend this shop, and will tell anybody looking for body work to check them out. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for!

Super friendly staff, very professional and I felt totally confident that they’d do a good job. I was shocked at how quick the turn around time was and even more surprised at how awesome their work is. The dent and scratches are completely gone. I can’t recommend them enough!

The level of customer service that I received was Exceptional. The Manager Jammie, made you feel like you were a customer his presence was very warm and inviting and to receive that level of service from tithe Manager simply means too me to that they know how to treat their customers and that every customer matters too them.

First, I would like to say that in the beginning everything went smoothly. They talked the good talk and had no problems leaving my vehicle there. Once we inspected the vehicle, I should have known that something was going to go wrong when the estimator only pointed out the big dents and not the small ones. I had to go around and point them out. Usually, some of the other shops that I used would circle them with some type of oil-based marker. No problems so far. They let me know when the vehicle was going to be delivered. Once I pay for the vehicle, it looked like they didn’t even cover the car. White paint all over the vehicle, on the windshield, over-spray on the black trim near the rear of the bumper. Even missed a dent right next to where they painted, so I don’t get it. The dents all needed to be fixed, why leave one right next to the one you’re already fixing. This is on the same door panel that was going to be painted and “blended”. I pointed this out and they said they missed It and they can paint it again, which would be more. The bad part is that someone looked over this door and said it was good. If they had notified me before I picked up the vehicle, I would have paid to have another small dent fixed. They didn’t even clean off the over-spray across the rear bumper. You can see the pictures for yourself, but I have lost all confidence that this shop could do good work if your paying cash. If this had been an insurance paying, it might have been different. So, if your paying with cash…see someone else.

I have enlisted Bay Customs for my auto body needs since the mid 2000s. They have always done an excellent job! Most recently, I had them paint side mirrors for my Jeep. I went to bay custom to have a dent in the windshield piller fixed and paint damage around sun roof fixed . got a estimate and made my appointment for 7/27/2020. After the car was their 2 hrs they called me to say they cant paint the roof. its a unpaintable panel .so the dent is all they have to fix now . they fixed the dent and it looks amazing !Editing post Today (Monday) 8/3/2020 brought my car back . was greeted immediately and my concern of the white spots all over was immediately took care of ! They detailed the car to a shine . the guy was nice and apologized . this guy should be getting the five stars !

I had a more last minute request for a front bumper to be done due to unforeseen circumstances and they were able to work with me on getting it done in a timely manner. My front bumper had all sorts of chipped paint from the last owner (who apparently had an awful job of painting done on the it). They were able to get it restored to a beautiful quality of black. The price for the job done was well done too, and beat the prices of four other places I went to. Everyone that worked there was so friendly and always had a smile on their face. The way they carried themselves was a good mix of professional and warm-welcoming.I will definitely be back again as I have a rear spoiler that needs to get done as well. 10/10 would recommend.

My car was in an accident and I had taken it to a chain dealership for my estimate. After hearing such great reviews, I decided to take my car to Bay Custom Auto. I was given Chris as my estimator. He was very kind, professional and kept me in the loop about the progress of my vehicle. I was promised my car on a Tuesday but after it didn’t meet his quality inspection, he sent it back to the paint shop to make sure it was perfect. I received my car on Thursday and it was not only repaired but also detailed to perfection! The body shop is located in Newport News and I live Chesapeake, but I would make the drive for this quality service any time! I give this business and customer service 10 out of 10!

I thought this experience would be better because I was referred by Charles Barker Lexus. It took over 30 days to get my vehicle. On pick up my heat wasnt working. Then on second pickup, my tire pressure lights were on and my gas light was on.

I just moved here and took my car to Bay Custom Auto. They were able to assist me by pushing back in a piece of plastic on the front of my vehicle that had pushed in . They did it free of charge since nothing was broken and were able to work around my schedule. I will be going back to them to get some paint and dent repairs soon.

Took my car to Bay Auto to get some scratches on the drivers side front and back doors buffed out. They did a phenomenal job buffing out the scratches. My looks brand new again!!!

I had side swipe damage to the rear drivers side of my vehicle. I placed a claim through my Progressive Insurance and they said Bay Custom Auto was in their network and close to my residence. I asked when I could get an appointment and I could drop it off at my convenience which was great. They viewed my vehicle immediately upon arrive, filled me in continuously throughout the process and had my vehicle completed 5 days before the date they quoted me! I was told it would be over 2 weeks and it ended up being 10 days. They did fabulous work and my vehicle looks as good as new. I would highly recommend them for any body or paint damage!!

Owner greeted me as I walked into the establishment. His professionalism set the tone of what kind of service I was going to get. 3rd time here and everytime the work has been magical. I believe they only hire perfectionists. Ill only use Bay Custom Auto when it comes to my baby. 1st time someone backed into the rear of my car. 2nd time 2 tires were slashed and then the knife was used to stab and cut lines down driver side. 3rd time someone attempted to drill through the front fender and the drill bit even jumped across the paint job. All three times Bay Custom Auto made it all vanish like nothing ever happened. All staff will treat you like royalty during the whole process. Love this business.

Have been here several times over the years with various vehicles and have always had a great experience. This time was good but not great. Quality of work was still great, but contacting someone to schedule was difficult- 4 calls, each requesting a call back, but didnt get one. I finally had to stop by the shop to schedule. Then the promise by date was not met, missed by 1 day.So all in all, good results but hard to get scheduled.

They bent over backwards to accommodate and repair my car. Alan took time to answer my questions in detail. This is the third time I have Bay Customs for an auto accident repair, minor dings and cosmetic repairs to my vehicles. Im always more than satisfied. I truly value and trust their mechanics knowledge and recommend them if you want a carefree experience.

Bay auto reps were very professional and explained everything thoroughly. The work was done to perfection.The only disappointment that I had was that the shop was doing a repair job through my insurance where they repaired a spot on my bumper that was damaged.There were other scratches on the bumper that were not related to the repair but could have been easily fixed while doing the scheduled work. It would have been nice to have been asked if I would like to have the rest of the bumper repaired while it was there and given a quote, so that I may decide if I’d like to ha e it repaired.Otherwise everything else was perfect. The shop even vacuumed out my car entirely which was greatly appreciated!

My dogs had knocked my window off the rails. The shop didnt try to upsell me. They quoted me a fair price and had the window back in place within 20 minutes!! I definitely have found an honest and trust worthy body shop and ill use them again if I need to

I was kept up to date after checking my vehicle in. I was about to walk home because I have no one else here to pick me up. I was given a ride home thankfully. My vehicle has been there over a month I paid the deductible up front so I didn’t have to worry about it. My insurance company issued a check 2 days after I checked it in but for some reason I was asked how I was going to take care of the balance left which was 10gs. I had to take a screen shot of my policy claim screen shot showing them the check number, date issued and address sent to. I was told it would be ready at 1700. I was able to find someone to drive me over there only to be told it’s not ready. The back up camera needed to be calibrated. There was a rubber seal that went between the backup sensor and the bumper that no one could find. So it sat “ready” for a week missing only that part. Was I kept up to date. Yes. Did they do good work yes. Will I go there again probably not.

The service I received was very professional and super fast. Dropped my Toyota Sienna off on Sunday evening and picked it up Tuesday with a new bumper cover and driver side rear view mirror cover on Tuesday. The staff was courteous and helpful. I had made a claim with my insurance chose Bay Custom Auto as my body shop. The next day I received a phone call saying they had my claim and said I could come anytime for my estimate. I pulled into the parking lot and went to the desk. They pulled up my claim and went outside in the rain and estimated the damages. Bay Custom said they were not busy and could get right on my car. They notified me at every step of the repairs with updates and finished the car two days before the promised date. The whole process was smooth and worry free. I would take any car there for bodywork.

I went into Bay Custom Auto almost a year ago to have a big scratch on my bumper appraised and they really worked with me on the price (I’m in college at CNU). After I had finally pulled the money together they allowed my appraisal (which was almost a year later) stand and got to working on my truck. I just picked it up today and it looks just like it did the day I picked it up off the lot! I dropped it off on Monday at 8am and they were done with it by Tuesday at 1pm! God forbid I ever have to get something with my truck repaired again but if I do it’ll definitely be through Bay Custom Auto!

Very unprofessional establishment. The manager called both myself and the insurance provider that was handling the claim at 3pm, stating that my vehicle was ready and even threatened that I would have to pay for a rental extension if I wasn’t at the establishment by 6pm. I left work early and made accommodations for pickup only to find a cracked grill and missing parts. There was no apology nor any remorse. Of course the rental was then extended and it took an additional four days for the repairs to be completed. Horrible customer service.
